Abstract

Abstract. This article aimed to show God's justice in the midst of lives of His people. The method used is the historical and grammatical exposition of Amos 1: 1-15. The struggle of faith of God's people is never loose in sorrow, sadness, and cheering. In the book of Amos 1: 1-15 teaches us that the people's struggle is inseparable from God's justice. God gives protection to His people to pass through every issue or problem of life. God also does His justice both to good doers and condemnation to those who do evil. Thus every people should live what God promised and hold in hope in God.

Abstract

The book of Job contains about suffering and feelings of injustice. Job felt and asked why he as a godly person experienced suffering, so he sought justice to God. The word justice is related to haššātān and court. The authors want to find and describe the context of the word haššātān by the judicial or court tradition history perspective in the book of Job. The result of this research is that the dialogue and the setting of the dialogue in the sky is the atmosphere of the court which was attended by the Judge (God) and the prosecutor (haššātān), that the prosecutor stated that there was an act of injustice that occurred in the life of the defendant (Job) which was committed by God (as well as the accused), which is also as a discussion of theodicy and Judgment Traditions in the book of Job.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Christian Religious Education on changes in the character of teenagers at GBI Bukit Sion Kelapa Gading. This study uses a quantitative survey research methodology by using a statistical regression analysis technique. The data collection technique used a Likert scale with four answer choices distributed to 40 teenagers in this study. The data processing results show a correlation between the variables of Christian Religious Education and Teenagers Character Building of 0.486 or 48.6%. This means that Christian Religious Education has a positive role in changing the character building of teenagers at GBI Bukit Sion Kelapa Gading. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh Pendidikan Agama Kristen terhadap perubahan karakter remaja di GBI Bukit Sion Kelapa Gading. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif survey dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistika regresi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert empat pilihan jawaban yang dibagikan kepada 40 remaja yang menjadi responden penelitian ini. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan ada korelasi antara variabel Pendidikan Agama Kristen terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Remaja sebesar 0,486 atau 48,6 %. Artinya bahwa Pendidikan Agama Kristen memiliki peran  yang positif dalam perubahan pembentukan karakter remaja di GBI Bukit Sion Kelapa Gading.

Abstract

The pros and cons of philosophy and theology have a reputation in the history of Chris-tianity. The importance of understanding philosophy and its importance can be explained correctly. Re-flections on the relationship between philosophy and theology will help Christians sharpen and develop their theology, especially evangelical theology. Therefore, philosophy and theology need to be har-moniously correlated in knowing God through His truth, by always thinking of God and advancing God's word through the perspective of evangelical theology. Philosophy and theology are mutually reinforcing and sharpening. Meanwhile, the relationships offered are mutually constructive in their task as a means of knowing God and also to build insight into the evangelical Christian world. Relasi pro dan kontra mengenai filsafat dan teologi telah tergores di dalam sejarah ke-kristenan. Pentingnya memahami filsafat dan  teologi sangatlah penting, sehingga dapat merelasikan ke-duanya secara tepat. Refleksi terhadap relasi antara filsafat dan teologi akan membantu orang Kristen untuk menajamkan dan mengembangkan teologinya, khusus teologi injili. Oleh sebab itu, filsafat dan teologi perlu direlasikan secara harmonis di dalam mengenal Allah melalui kebenaran-Nya, dengan senantiasa bersikap takut akan Allah dan menghargai firman Allah melalui perspektif teologi injili. Keilmuan filsafat dan teologi saling menguatkan dan menajamkan. Adapun relasi yang dimaksud ialah keduanya digunakan saling membangun dalam tugasnya sebagai sarana pengenalan akan Allah serta sebagai kerangka untuk membangun wawasan dunia Kristen yang injili.

Abstract

The development of the times marked by the rapid advancement of technology has a positive and negative impact, according to the Wibawanto, the impact of the development of technology that is so fast also affected the generation of Z, which is generation born in 1995-2000 which is also called the Internet generation. One of the impact negative technological developments for the Z generation is Phubbing originating from the word phones and snubbing which can be interpreted with actions that hurt others socially, because they are more focused on smartphones than social interactions in real terms. Apart from that other negative impacts are addicted to the internet. These things can lead to moral degradation of children belonging to the Genis Z. Theological ethical review will be the answer to the problem of the moral degradation, because it bases all the moral values of Jesus 'character and Jesus' teachings in the corner of the Characterology. This writing uses a quantitatic method through library research so as to produce a result of theological ethical review where the Word of God teaches everyone to love each other and build unity so that everyone accept God's blessings.  Perkembangan Zaman yang ditandai dengan Pesatnya Kemajuan Teknologi memiliki dampak positif dan juga negatif, Menurut Wibawanto, dampak perkembangan Teknologi yang begitu cepat juga sangat berimbas kepada Generasi Z yaitu Generasi yang lahir pada Tahun 1995-2000 yang disebut juga dengan Generasi Internet. Salah satu imbas Negatif perkembangan teknologi bagi Generasi z adalah Phubbing yang berasal dari kata Phone dan Snubbing yang dapat diartikan dengan Tindakan yang menyakiti orang lain secara sosial, karena lebih terfokus kepada Smartphone daripada interaksi sosial secara nyata. Selain daripada itu dampak negative lainya adalah Kecanduan Internet. Hal-hal tersebut dapat menimbulkan degradasi moral anak-anak yang tergolong dalam Generasi Z. Tinjauan Etis Teologis akan menjadi jawaban bagi Problematikan Degradasi Moral tersebut, karena mendasarkan semua nilai moral dari Karakter Yesus dan Ajaran Yesus dalam Sudut padangan Karakterologi. Abstract

In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, distance or online learning is not an alternative, but the only option that must be done to prevent the increasing outbreak of Covid-19 through students and teachers. In conditions like this, there are many obstacles that must be faced both from the teacher as educators and students. From the teacher's side, pedagogical professionalism is demanded in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. From the aspect of students with reduced direct supervision from the teacher, causing low learning motivation. Teachers as education executors, specifically Religious Education teachers are required to be able to develop their pedagogical abilities to be able to overcome obstacles in online learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the pedagogical qualifications of Christian religious education teachers on student learning motivation in the Covid-19 pandemic era. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection carried out by interviews and documentation as well as references to books related to research. The results of research on some outstanding students can increase learning motivation when Christian Religious Education teachers carry out their duties and responsibilities professionally by developing learning strategies and methods to increase student learning motivation in the Covid-19 pandemic era. Abstrak Di era pandemic Covid-19 pembelajaran jarak jauh atau daring bukan merupakan alternatif, melainkan satu-satunya pilihan yang harus dilakukan untuk men-cegah semakin meningkatnya wabah Covid-19 melalui siswa maupun guru. Dalam kondisi seperti ini banyak kendala yang harus dihadapi baik dari pihak guru sebagai pendidik maupun siswa. Dari pihak guru dituntut profesioanalitas pedagogis dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya. Dari aspek siswa dengan berkurangnya pengawasan langsung dari guru sehingga menyebabkan moti-vasi belajar yang rendah. Guru sebagai eksekutor pendidikan, secara khusus guru Pendidikan Agama dituntut mampu mengembangkan kemampuan pedagogisnya untuk dapat mengatasi hambatan dalam pembelajaran online. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kualifikasi pedagogis guru pendidikan agama Kristen terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di era pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif des-kriptif dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi serta referensi buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian pada beberapa siswa berprestasi dapat meningkat motivasi belajar ketika guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawab secara profesional dengan mengem-bangkan strategi dan metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di era pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

William Tyndale's efforts to translate the Bible into English had an impact on the spread of the Bible in society and the development of evangelical reformed theology. This article aims to find and provide an introduction to William Tyndale's theology on Bible translation efforts and its implications for evangelical reformed theology. The writing method used is a systematic theological study with descriptive analysis. The results found are that the church is never separated from the people, thus advancing the ministry of the people and having the belief that every devotee has the right to read, understand the Scriptures, and warn teachers and pastors when they deviate. All work is a holy calling and doing it for Christ.

Abstract

This study was conducted to answer the criticism of the dialogue process in a pluralistic society. There is a dualism that separates mission and dialogue (social dialogue and spiritual dialogue). In this regard, there is a concern that social dialogue will have a missiological tendency which will affect the faith of others. Thus, there is no need for social dialogue. This article aims to explain that social dialogue is not harmful because social dialogue does not always affect one's faith. On the other hand, social dialogue can be an important model in this plural society. The study in this study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with a literature research approach. The research was conducted by investigating primary and secondary sources to find out the esense of social dialogue. The results of this study show that social dialogue is not harmful because social dialogue is an unavoidable fact. The incarnation of Christ forms the basis of dialogue for Christians to live in the midst of pluralism

Abstract: Abstract: Today, the church is experiencing a setback in terms of caring for and building the spirituality of its congregation members. Therefore, this has an impact on the level of spiritual growth of church members. This study aims to describe spirituality activities at Bethel Tabernacle Church in Bekasi and how to build the theological meaning of Christian spirituality maturity for God’s people. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative method. The result of this research is that the church must create a measure as a standard to measure the spiritual development of church members. In addition, the church can also carry out a program of activities or spiritual development both in and outside the church to unite the level of spiritual maturity of the people. Abstrak: Dewasa ini, gereja mengalami kemunduran dalam hal memperhatikan dan membangun spiritualitas anggota jemaatnya. Oleh karena itu, hal ini berdampak pada tingkat pertumbuhan spiritualitas anggota jemaat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan kegiatan spiritualitas di Gereja Bethel Tabernakel Jemaat Tuhan Beserta Kita Bekasi dan bagaimana membangun makna teologis kedewasaan spiritualitas Kristen bagi umat Tuhan. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah gereja harus menciptakan sebuah ukuran yang dapat dijadikan sebagai standar untuk mengukur perkembangan spiritual anggota jemaat. Selain itu, Gereja juga dapat melakukan serangkaian program kegiatan atau pembinaan spiritual baik di dalam gereja maupun di luar gereja untuk memantau tingkat kedewasaan spiritual umat Tuhan.

Abstract

The integration of faith and learning is regarded to b a primary distinctive of Christian education, yet this terminology conveys a false dichotomy. The frequent call for integration suggests that the Christian faith and learning belong to different areas of knowledge and practice; consequently, there is a need for bringing the two realms together. In this article, a biblical worldview is presented as the unifying factor for the fusion of faith and learning. The biblical narrative provides a solid foundation for a comprehensive worldview, offering implications for the Christian faith and Christian education. What I believe as Christian educators is conveyed in many different ways to our students. The concept of worldview has been used in recent years to describe the comprehensive approach to reality that provides the foundation for how we understand the world and how we teach our students. Christian’s worldviews are offering education that is faithful to our calling to celebrate the lordship of Christ over all of creation. Integrasi iman dan pembelajaran dianggap sebagai ciri khas utama pendidikan Kristen, namun terminologi ini menyampaikan dikotomi yang salah. Seringkali panggilan untuk integrasi menunjukkan bahwa iman dan pembelajaran Kristen termasuk dalam bidang pengetahuan dan praktik yang berbeda; akibatnya, ada kebutuhan untuk menyatukan kedua dunia. Dalam artikel ini, kerangka berpikir alkitabiah disajikan sebagai faktor pemersatu untuk penyatuan iman dan pembelajaran. Narasi Alkitab memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk kerangka berpikir yang komprehensif, menawarkan implikasi bagi iman Kristen dan pendidikan Kristen. Apa yang saya yakini sebagai pendidik Kristen disampaikan dengan berbagai cara kepada peserta didik. Konsep kerangka berpikir telah digunakan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir untuk menggambarkan pendekatan komprehensif terhadap kenyataan yang memberikan landasan bagi bagaimana kita memahami dunia dan bagaimana kita mengajar peserta didik kita. Kerangka berpikir alkitabiah menawarkan pendidikan yang setia kepada panggilan kita untuk merayakan ketuhanan Kristus atas semua ciptaan.
