Desa Satak Kecamatan Puncu Kabupaten Kediri yang berada di kaki Gunung Kelud, Provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan salah satu penghasil buah nanas dan memiliki rumpun tanaman nanas cukup banyak, sebagai salah satu sumber penghasilan utama. Setelah pasca panen, daun nanas sebagian besar dibuang menjadi sampah daun dan tangkai nanas, baru kemudian dikomposkan atau dibakar oleh petani. Selain itu, petani nanas biasanya hanya menimbun dan membakar daun nanas. Ada upaya Tim KKN Abmas TTG berbasis produk untuk mengatasi permasalahan limbah daun nanas tersebut, sehingga apabila diolah lebih lanjut akan meningkatkan nilai ekonomi lebih tinggi dan merupakan hasil samping atau kemungkinan bisa merupakan hasil utama dari petani nanas masyarakat desa Satak. KKN Abmas TTG yang merupakan kegiatan dengan melibatkan mahasiswa ini telah merancang dan membuat mesin opening dan mesin spinning single spindle yang berguna untuk pengolahan limbah daun nanas. Mesin opening digunakan dalam pengolahan serat kasar daun nanas untuk menghasilkan serat yang lebih halus, sedangkan mesin spinning single spindle digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa benang single. Benang halus yang dihasilkan dapat diolah lebih lanjut sebagai bahan baku pembuatan tas dan bahan tekstil. Pelaksanaan kegiatan KKN Abmas telah dilaksankan melalui sosialisasi pengoperasian produk mesin-mesin ke masyarakat yang dihadiri oleh Karang Taruna, Perangkat Desa Satak Kecamatan Puncu, dan staf Balitbangda Kabupaten Kediri.

Ferroresonance is an interaction phenomenon between non-linear inductance and capacitance that initiates abnormal waveform of current and voltage. This phenomenon is very sensitive to system parameter and initial condition. In this paper, ferroresonance initiation involved a basic circuit of series ferroresonance with variation of source voltage magnitude on a single phase low voltage transformer. The scheme of experiment was based on the case of transformer energizing. The trends of current and voltage waveform on the primary windings were investigated and transformed by using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). The harmonics spectrum was then employed to identify the feroresonance mode and calculate the Total Harmonics Distortion (THD) of current and voltage. The experimental results showed that the higher source voltage magnitude caused the ferroresonance responses to be seen more clearly. It was indicated by the more distorted waveform, the higher odd harmonics frequency amplitude especially for 150 Hz, and the greater THD. Based on the harmonics spectrum and wave period, the ferroresonance responses were identified as fundamental mode. The effects of initial conditions, such as residual flux of transformer and capacitor charge, were also seen on the distorted wave peak during transient condition. In addition, the difference of waveform between normal and ferroresonance condition could be more easily observed on the voltage than the current. The waveforms of current and voltage during experiment had been verified by using simulation.

There are two gait parameters on FES used as feedback, namely gait phase and lower limb joint angles. Problems arise when the patient's motion is limited and the psychological factors of the patient are impaired due to the installation of sensors and the complicated wiring connected between the patient and the computer. This can hamper the rehabilitation process, thus a wearable and comfortable sensor system is required. This paper develops a measurement system of two gait parameters that are wearable and comfortable. The system is capable of accurately measuring two gait parameters, which are the lower limb joint angles of hip, knee, and ankle, using inertial sensors: accelerometers and gyroscopes, and gait phase parameter using Force Sensing Resistors (FSRs). The equations of the lower limb joint angles are also derived based on the acceleration vector of the accelerometer. Kalman filters are used to estimate the tilt angle of each lower limb segment based on the inertial sensor output. All processes are performed in real time by a 16-bit microcontroller, dsPIC4013. Measurement data is sent to the PC as a viewer and data storage wirelessly via Bluetooth module. In the test of dynamic subject, the gait parameters have been measured accurately. The required time to process and send all filtered sensor data is only 4.7 ms out of 10ms in maximum time sampling. This system can be further developed into wearable FES closed-loop system for gait restoration, with the addition of stimulus generator circuit and algorithm.

There are some problems in optimization that cannot be derived mathematically. Various methods have been developed to solve the optimization problem with various functional forms, whether differentiated or not, to overcome the problem, which are known as artificial methods such as artificial neural networks, particle swarm optimization, and genetic algorithms. In the literature, it is said that there is an artificial method that frequently falls to the minimum local solution. The local minimum results are proof that the artificial method is not accurate. This paper proposes the Large to Small Area Technique for power system optimization, which works based on reducing feasible areas. This method can work accurately, which that never violates all constraints in reaching the optimal point. However, to conclude that this method is superior to others, logical arguments and tests with mathematical simulations are needed. This proposed method has been tested with 24 target points using ten functions consisting of a quadratic function and a first-order function. The results showed that this method has an average accuracy of 99.97% and an average computation time of 62 seconds. The proposed technique can be an alternative in solving the economic dispatch problem in the power system.

This study aims to analyze the needs of the project-based learning outcomes assessment model at the Center for Excellence in Vocational High Schools. The first step in the research is the development of Project-Based Learning Assessment Models. Electricity was chosen because it is one of the intersecting materials in the departments at Vocational High Schools. The survey method was chosen to collect information on the needs of the assessment model. The survey data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The mode of the survey data was used to draw the required model conclusions.The number of respondents who filled out the questionnaire was from 10 SMK-PK in DKI Jakarta, West Java, Banten, and Lampung who applied Project-Based Learning in Practical Teaching. From the respondents' answers, it can be concluded that. Most schools require specific Guidelines for the Assessment of Project-based Learning yet to be made available. Most teachers require industry involvement in the creation of Practice-based Learning assignments. A large number of teachers need an assessment of the quality of assignments. Assessment of the Project-based Learning Process tends to be carried out at the implementation stage, while in the planning and reporting stages, it is carried out by a few teachers. The assessment tends to be carried out against groups with aspects assessed as competence and student performance. The assessment techniques carried out include written tests, observations, and portfolios. Standard sample documents required include Instrument Indicators and Rubrics.

Gili Ketapang merupakan salah satu destinasi pariwisata bahari unggulan di Jawa Timur yang memiliki potensi baik dari sisi bentang alam, ekosistem alami, maupun berbagai sumber daya di dalamnya. Namun, keberlanjutan kawasan wisata Gili Ketapang saat ini mengalami ancaman yang cukup besar akibat perubahan iklim. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan penguatan kapasitas dan strategi adaptasi untuk sektor pariwisata Gili Ketapang, baik dari sisi masyarakat, pelaku wisata, pemerintah daerah setempat, dan dari sisi infrastruktur yang ada. Kondisi eksisting kawasan wisata Gili Ketapang saat ini telah mengalami transformasi yang cukup signifikan dengan berorientasikan pada aktivitas sektor pariwisata dan perikanan sebagai sektor utamanya. Ketersediaan destinasi wisata juga telah banyak didukung oleh infrastruktur pendukung serta SDM dan organisasi pengelola parwisiata yang cukup memadai. Namun, di sisi lain juga terdapat kekurangwaspadaan terhadap isu perubahan iklim yang cukup mengancam pada kawasan wisata ini. Oleh karena itu, beberapa strategi dalam hal perbaikan infrastruktur dalam mengantisipasi berbagai perubahan lingkungan, sosialisasi terhadap masyarakat, pelaku wisata, dan pemerintah daerah terhadap perubahan iklim serta berbagai aktivitas adaptif yang dapat dilakukan perlu diterapkan secara kontinyu untuk keberlanjutan kawasan wisata ini.

Results of the author’s survey in Radiology Mitra Keluarga Kelapa Gading Hospital, there is a discrepancy between the length of service of employees (Radiographers) and their career level competencies for each year, Radiographers have worked for quite a long time but their skills are still very lacking. Apart from that, the current training unorganized and undirected, giving the impression that it is just plain training. This research aims to carry out development, the development carried out is developing the current CT Scan equipment training into better training capable of increasing the competency of Radiographers at Mitra Keluarga Kelapa Gading Hospital. The development model carried out is using the Dick and Carey model, where the results of this process are a CT Scan training model product called the Kyazeka training model, with the title of the book "becoming an expert CT Scan Radiographer". The product feasibility test results from experts were 86.7% for material experts, 98.2% for education and training experts and 100% for curriculum development experts. The results of the effectiveness test were obtained 79%. The Kyazeka training model is recommended for use and effective in increasing the competency of Radiographers at Mitra Keluarga Kelapa Gading Hospita.

Desa Kalipucang, Kecamatan Tutur, Pasuruan, Jawa Timur, terletak dekat dengan kaki gunung Bromo. Masyarakatnya kebanyakan hidup bertani dan beternak sapi. Kebanyakan peternak memelihara sapi perah untuk menghasilkan susu. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh peternak adalah terkait limbah kotoran sapi. Kebanyakan kotoran sapi hanya dibuang ke lingkungan dan sebagian kecil dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis teknologi tepat guna bertujuan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan dan penguatan ekonomi berbasis biomassa dalam bentuk pengonversian limbah kotoran sapi menjadi biogas sebagai energi terbarukan sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat desa. Program ini dapat memfasilitasi keberlanjutan lingkungan dan sosial ekonomi yang mengarah pada pengurangan emisi gas metana dan pengurangan akumulasi limbah padat. Produksi biogas diperoleh melalui proses digestion kotoran sapi menggunakan digester fixed dome dengan volume sekitar 8 m3 terbuat dari konstruksi bangunan pasir, batu bata, dan semen. Di atas dome dipasang pipa gas yang terhubung ke kompor untuk keperluan memasak di dapur perumahan. Pipa gas juga dihubungkan dengan alat manometer, diletakkan di dapur untuk melihat dan mengontrol produksi biogas yang dihasilkan. Kotoran sapi sebanyak 80 kg dicampur dengan air (rasio 1:1) dan diaduk hingga homogen kemudian diumpankan ke dalam digester secara semikontinu. Setelah diinkubasikan selama 1 minggu, produksi biogas dapat diamati dengan melihat perbedaan tekanan yang ada pada manometer. Volume biogas yang dihasilkan setiap hari sebesar 500 liter dan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh 2 keluarga atau selama 8 jam untuk kegiatan memasak. Manfaat yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berbasis produk adalah terutama peternak sapi dapat menghasilkan biogas dengan memanfaatkan kotoran sapi sebagai sumber energi yang murah, bersih, dan mudah dikendalikan untuk berbagai keperluan dengan basis teknologi tepat guna.

Batik is one of the industrial potentials of Indonesia, which is experiencing rapid growth in various regions. Besides providing economic benefits, the batik industry also harms the environment. One of the processing methods that can be used as a solution is the Constructed Wetland (CW) method. This method is appropriate because it doesn't require high processing and maintenance costs and the process is simple and uses local resources. The purpose of this study was to measure the efficiency of batik industry wastewater treatment in reducing the pollutant load with the CW system so that the waste discharged into the environment can be declared safe. The parameters studied were COD, and TSS with the Hydraulic Retention Time for 10, 20, and 30 days. The results of the analysis of the initial content obtained a COD value of 1832,02 mg/L and a TSS value of 300 mg/L. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the results obtained for the removal of COD and TSS at 10 days HRT were 92.698% and 83.33%, then HRT 20 days of 94.603% and 86.67%. and then HRT 30 days of 96.138 % and 93.33%.

Boiler merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam sistem pembangkit listrik, industri, dan proses termal lainnya. Boiler berfungsi untuk menghasilkan uap air super panas yang digunakan untuk menggerakkan turbin atau proses lainnya. Penggunaan economizer sebagai preheater steam memiliki beberapa keuntungan. Penggunaan economizer dapat meningkatkan efisiensi termal sistem secara signifikan. Penambahan alat economizer sebagai preheater steam merupakan solusi menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kinerja sistem boiler. Akan tetapi, pada pabrik pakan ikan yang dijadikan objek penelitian, tidak terdapat economizer. Setelah dilakukannya perhitungan penggunaan bahan bakar dan analisa ekonomi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan economizer sebagai preheater steam pada sistem boiler memberikan solusi yang menjanjikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan kinerja. Penggunaan bahan bakar mengalami penurunan setelah pemasangan economizer, mengurangi konsumsi energi yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu, efisiensi panas yang diterima oleh air di boiler meningkat secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, penggunaan economizer membantu mengurangi konsumsi bahan bakar, meningkatkan efisiensi energi, dan mengurangi emisi gas buang. Penambahan alat economizer sebagai preheater steam dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan efisiensi sistem boiler. Menurunnya energi yang dibutuhkan menyebabkan menurunnya jumlah bahan bakar LNG yang diigunakan dari 149kg/jam menjadi 135kg/jam dan meningkatnya efisiensi penyerapan panas dari 77% menjadi 84,5%. Sehingga hal ini berpengaruh pada pendapatan bersih pabrik yang mengalami peningkatan dari Rp 567.116.666.66,00 menjadi Rp 567.848.744.666,00.
