Abstract

This research was conducted as an alternative learning for the study of the magnetic field using the 2D Ising Model with simulation method. The programs are written in macro language and ran in ImageJ software. The research of designing a system size namely 32 x 32, energy and magnetization are measured as functions of temperature. Simulation conducted to see the magnetic momen when temprature is changed on the system. It is found that for low temperature regime, the absolute magnetization close to 1, which means tha tall spins are in the homogeneous state. By the increase the temperature close to the critical one = 2,3, the magnetization decrease drastically into zero. For the energy, low temperature regime gives the low energy. By the increase the temperature, the energy increase drastically near the critical temperature, and finally close to zero for high temperature regime. The state of the system is changed from ferromagnetic into the paramagnetic.Keywords : Magnetic Field, Magnetization, Energy, 2D Ising Model, Learning.

Abstract

Salah satu sensor utama yang terdapat dalam sebuah telepon adalah microphon, pada smartphone android dengan menggunakan aplikasi tertentu dengan memanfaatkan microphone maka dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kebisingan. Pada penelitian ini sebuah smartphone android digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kebisingan di Lingkungan Kantin Universitas Kristen Indonesia dengan lima macam aplikasi pengukur tingkat kebisingan. Praktikum pengukuran tingkat kebisingan ini merupakan bagian dari matakuliah Fisika Gelombang khususnya pada materi gelombang bunyi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tingkat kebisingan pada kantin UKI pada saat dilakukan penelitian berkisar antara 50 dB hingga 55 dB.

Abstract

In the process, educational programs that have been previously planned do not always run as planned, so that there is often a policy to solve the latest problems in order to achieve the goal of achieving equal and quality education in accordance with what is mandated in the law. Indonesia as a developing country is deemed necessary to adopt an education system that has been successfully implemented in other countries. Currently, one of the countries that can be used as a reference in the education sector is Finland. This research uses meta-analysis design. The results of this study there are several aspects that can be implemented from existing educational policies in the country of Finland to Indonesia. With an increase in the quality of education in the country of Indonesia is expected to be able to give birth to future generations who can compete internationally.Keywords: Education Policy, Finland, Quality of Education

Abstract

Located in the Southeast Asia region, Indonesia has rainy and dry seasons. In the rainy and dry seasons that occur in Indonesia, often causes many problems in various business sectors and community activities, including floods and droughts. It is known that the disaster will have an impact on material and non-material losses. This study uses climate data and disaster data at the village level to determine the effect of rainfall on disasters. This study uses the instrumental variable method because the model has endogeneity problems. The study results concluded that increased rainfall had a positive impact on flood disasters with a coefficient of 0.003038. Simultaneously, rainfall also impacted drought with a coefficient of -0.000377.  Variables in the regression model that are formed can explain 1.74 percent of the flood disaster and 0.59 percent of the drought disaster. These results indicate that most of the other variables can influence flooding and drought. Through this research, it is known that rainfall for floods and droughts is quite significant. Therefore, government and community efforts are needed to anticipate similar disasters.

Abstract

Abstract:. Noise is a sound that can cause discomfort. One of them is rail activity. Noise generated enough to bring negative impacts to the surrounding environment, especially in the school environment.. This research uses descriptive analysis method with cross sectional approach. The location of this research is the school that is right next to the railway crossing i.e. SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta. Noise level data retrieval is performed using a sound level meter applications android-based. The data measured by the instantaneous sound pressure level for 5 minutes, or Leq (5 minutes) for each measurement point. There are 5 point measurements. From the results of measurements at SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta gained an average noise level for 5 measurement point is 70.50 dB. The figure exceeds the threshold if refers to the Kep-48 MNLH/11/1996 to 55,00 dB maximum school environment. Necessary noise control efforts at that school to minimise the negative impact caused. Because of the higher the intensity of noise, the more negative impact, especially for students in the school. Abstrak: Bising merpukan sebuah bunyi yang dapat menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan. Salah satu yang mengakibatkan timbulnya suara bising yang cukup tinggi adalah aktivitas kereta api. Kebisingan yang dihasilkan cukup membawa dampak negatif bagi lingkungan disekitarnya, khususnya di lingkungan sekolah. penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah sekolah yang berada tepat di samping perlintasan rel kereta api yaitu SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta. Pengambilan data tingkat kebisingan dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi sound level meter berbasis android. Data diukur dengan tingkat tekanan bunyi sesaat selama 5 menit, atau Leq (5 menit) untuk setiap titik pengukuran. Terdapat 5 titik pengukuran. Dari hasil pengukuran pada SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta diperoleh rata-rata tingkat kebisingan untuk 5 titik pengukuran adalah 70,50 dB. Angka tersebut melebihi ambang batas jika merujuk pada Kep-48 MNLH/11/1996 untuk lingkungan sekolah maksimum 55 dB. Diperlukan upaya-upaya pengendalian kebisingan pada sekolah tersebut untuk meminimalisir dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan. Karena semakin tinggi instensitas kebisingan semakin memberikan dampak negatif khususnya bagi siswa di sekolah  tersebut.

Abstract

Laboratorium merupakan sebuah sarana yang mendukung pembelajaran khususnya IPA, namun beberapa sekolah yang berada di daerah belum memiliki peralatan laboratorium yang memadahi, salah satunya adalah SMP Pusaka yang berada kecamatan Ciranjang. Pengukuran adalah salah satu materi dari pelajaran IPA, dalam melakukan pengukuran diperlukan alat ukur. Alat ukur yang sering diujikan di ujian nasional adalah jangka sorong, micrometer skrup dan multitester, tetapi alat ukur ini tidak tersedia di SMP Pusaka. Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Kristen Indonesia melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ke SMP Pusaka dengan melakukan kegiatan pelatihan penggunaan alat laboratorium berupa alat ukur jangka sorong, mikrometer skrup dan multitester serta menyumbangkan alat-alat tersebut. Pelatihan dilaksanakan kepada siswa kelas 7 SMP sejumlah 29 siswa, setelah pemaparan tim melakukan pendampingan kepada siswa untuk melakukan pengukuran dan mengisi lembar kerja yang telah disediakan, kemudian diberikan kuesioner untuk mengetahui pemahaman siswa dan kesan kepada instruktur. Dari hasil kuesioner yang dijawab oleh siswa menyatakan bahwa materi pelatihan mudah dipahami, diaplikasikan dan menambah pengetahuan, secara keseluruhan materi yang diajarkan mendapatkan respon baik dengan presentase rata-rata 86,6 %. Menurut kesan para siswa pelatih dari Pendidikan Fisika UKI memberikan perhatian, pendampingan dan penyajian materi yang baik dengan persentase rata-rata 85,4 %.

Abstract

According to regulation No. 20/2000, education is a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and learning process so that students actively develop their potential, to have spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character and the skills needed by themselves, society, nation, and country. To realize this we need learning methods and models that are able to increase student enthusiasm and be able to improve student learning outcomes. Of the several learning approaches, the initial experiment approach (starter experiment approach), is one alternative in learning physics. This research was conducted in class XI Natural Sciences at SMA Negeri 98 Jakarta, East Jakarta, with a research schedule from January to September 2018. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class students after receiving the SEA learning model treatment was 87.38, while the class control with conventional learning models 80.36.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the quality of product, price, location, and quality of service to repurchase intention. The problem that facing by Bebek Gendut Semarang  is income  which decreasing, caused many new restaurans. And this research also aims to analyze the most dominant factors that influence on repurchase intention of Bebek Gendut Semarang.The population in this study are customers of Bebek Gendut Semarang. Samples were taken of 100 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a survey method through questionnaires filled out by customers. Then, the data obtained were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. This analysis includes the validity test, reliability test, multiple regression analysis, classic assumption test, hypothesis testing through the t test and F test, and coefficient of determination analysis (R²). From the analysis result, the indicators in this study are valid and reliables. The most dominant factor that influence on repurchase intention is quality product  follow by the location, then quality service and price. Then  the F Test can be seen that the independent variables feasible to test the dependent variable. The result of Adjusted R Square is 0,498 it means that independent variable can explain about 49,8% of dependent variable.

Abstract

The development of technology has experienced many advances, one of which is the processing of chemical compounds into drugs that can cure various diseases. However, the use of chemical drugs is considered to have side effects on health so that people switch to herbal medicines that are more natural and have minimal side effects such as the use of family medicinal plants (TOGA). Pagarawan Village is one of the villages that has great potential to be developed as a family medicinal plant (TOGA) producing village. The main problem faced by the community of Pagarawan Village, Merawang Subdistrict, Bangka Regency is the lack of knowledge about the types of plants that have medicinal properties. Therefore, it is necessary to provide education through the introduction and utilization of home yards for TOGA and TOGA Labeling. Family medicinal plants (TOGA) are plants that have benefits and properties that are good for health and are planted in the yard to meet family medicinal needs. The purpose of this activity is to provide education and understanding to the community about the utilization of yard land as a place for planting TOGA in order to provide family herbal medicine. This activity was carried out on August 16, 2021 to October 25, 2021, located in Pagarawan Village, Merawang District, Bangka Regency. This community service activity involves various parties including Pagarawan Village Office Employees, Merawang District, Bangka Regency, the community and KKN students. The activity began with the utilization of an empty yard located behind the Pagarawan Village Office. This is because the Village Office is one of the community service centers, so it is expected to be an example for the local community. The availability of TOGA in Pagarawan Village is expected to help the community in utilizing TOGA for health.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of project-based learning integrated with the STEM method on the greenhouse effect and global warming on science process skills of class XI of the MIPA program in Senior High School in 9 Jakarta. This research is experimental research with two groups. Class control using discovery learning and class experiment using PJBL integrated with STEM. The instrument is a multiple-choice test with as many as 20 questions that use science process skills indicators. Analysis of this research data using the independent sample t-test was used to see the effect of the learning model on the science process skills, and the results obtained showed a significant effect. From the results of the analysis data, there is an effect of PjBL learning integrated STEM method to increase science process skills of students of class XI. Applying project-based learning integrated with STEM dramatically improves students' abilities, especially in observing, applying and conducting experiments. For the questionnaire students' responses to the implementation of the learning model, more than 80% of students were becoming more motivated in learning, more help understanding the subject matter, and could improve their problem-solving abilities.
