Abstract

Silihwangi area is located in Majalengka District, West Java Province with coordinate 108°13’22” E - 108°16’5” E and 6°57’41” S - 7°0’22” S. This research aims to identifiy and know the geology of Silihwangi area and its surrounding. This research used digital maps to carried out processing step in studio and field equipment such as GPS, camera, compass, geological hammer, etc to carried out field observation. Some rock samples are taken for further analysis. Based on field observation and studio analysis, the research area can be divided into five morphology unit namely very gentle sloping hill, gentle sloping hill, rather steep hill, steep hill, and very steep hill morphology unit. Other than that, there are subparalel, radial, and subdendritic drainage pattern that can be found in the research area. The lithostratigraphic units in the research area, namely Sandstone (Tmbp), Claystone (Tpbl), Andesite intrusion (Ki), Tuff (Kt), and Volcanic breccia (Kbv) unit. Joint and lithology offset can be found in the research area.

Abstract

Rancaekek merupakan salah satu wilayah penyangga Jatinangor yang saat ini merupakan kawasan pendidikan di Jawa Barat. Beberapa perguruan tinggi seperti Unpad, ITB, Ikopin, dan IPDN menjadikan UMKM berpotensi untuk bertambah di daerah Rancaekek. Saat terjadi pandemi Covid-19, banyak pelaku UMKM kuliner di Desa Rancaekek Kulon yang mengalami penurunan penjualan. Hal tersebut banyak diakibatkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai pengembangan bisnis, strategi pemasaran, literasi digital, dan lainnya. Jika sebelumnya, para pelaku UMKM masih dihantui rasa khawatir saat pandemi maka di awal tahun 2023 adalah waktu yang tepat untuk mulai mengembangkan usaha. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan sosialisasi berkaitan dengan pemberdayaan UMKM dirasa perlu diadakan di daerah Rancaekek dengan pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) modifikasi. Tujuannya agar para pelaku UMKM siap menghadapi kondisi pasar yang lebih dinamis pasca pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui studi literatur data sekunder yang diperoleh dari pihak Desa Rancaekek Kulon, observasi lapangan dengan cara memetakan dan wawancara para pelaku UMKM kuliner di Desa Rancaekek Kulon, serta sosialisasi. Sosialisasi dilakukan sebagai bagian dari stimulus kepada pelaku UMKM kuliner untuk dapat mengembangkan ide kreasi dan inovasi disertai pemahaman mengenai literasi digital sebagai salah satu hal penting menghadapi era digital saat ini. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat pelaku UMKM kuliner untuk dapat terus mengembangkan usahanya dengan bantuan dan pendampingan dari pihak seperti mitra usaha, para akademisi, serta pemerintah daerah setempat agar roda perekonomian semakin baik dan berdampak baik bagi masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Generally, landslide potential can occur when a materials drifting force dominates the resisting force. A state of equilibrium is reached when the two aspects are in comparable conditions, or when the force of drift is less than the force of resistance. Spatial changes, morphological changes and changes in land use are often the cause of landslides if these changes are not properly planned and carried out without taking into account the principles of geotechnical engineering. One of the changes brought about by land use change is mining activity, in which very large morphological changes occur during the mining operation. These changes will usually have the potential to cause landslides if they are not managed in a proper and correct procedure. However, ilegal mining communities always appear and carry out mining operations without considering the principles of Good Mining Practices, so it will be quite dangerous for the environment and human beings, both in terms of potential landslide hazards and environmental damage. The purpose of this study is to determine the area and potential landslide hazard in the unlicensed community mining area using satellite imagery and slope stability analysis at the mining site. This research was conducted using a combination of geotechnical laboratory testing methods and field observations, as well as slope stability analysis, in order to determine the landslide potential at the research site. In general, the research data clearly shows that the slope formed due to ilegal mining activities has a factor of safety value in an unstable condition (0.516-1.076) with a probability of failure ranging from 15%-20%, and has a high consequence of failure status. The research data indicates that the research site is experiencing an unstable condition, which is likely the result of ilegal mining activities with the potential of landslides in the research site.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan di Cekungan Bandung bagian timur yang secara geologi tersusun oleh dominasi batuan vulkanik berumur Kuarter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap hubungan antar aspek morfotektonik yang terdiri dari indeks gradien panjang sungai (SL) dan hipsometri (HI) dalam merespon aktivitas tektonik di daerah penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan media citra DEM (Digital Elevation Model) melalui dukungan SIG (Sistem Informasi Geografis) di studio. Perangkat lunak ArcGIS 10.0 digunakan dalam proses pengolahan citra serta Microsoft Excel digunakan dalam proses perhitungan dan analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, daerah penelitian terdiri dari enam DAS, yaitu DAS Citarik Hulu, Cijalupang, Ciwirama, Ciburial, Cikeruh, dan Cimande yang sebagian besar berada pada morfologi perbukitan dan gunung hingga pedataran dengan kemiringan lereng mulai dari sangat curam hingga datar. Daerah penelitian memiliki enam pola pengaliran sungai, yaitu pola radial, subradial, subdendritik, parallel, subparallel, dan anastomotik. Secara umum, keenam pola pengaliran tersebut menunjukkan bahwa daerah penelitian didominasi area berlereng curam hingga sangat curam dan tersusun oleh batuan vulkanik di bagian utara, timur, dan selatan, berlereng landai hingga datar dan tersusun oleh material lepasan di bagian tengah hingga barat, serta dipengaruhi struktur geologi minor. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan nilai SL (113,24 – 409,75) dan HI (0,22 – 0,50) yang menunjukkan respon aktivitas tektonik rendah hingga cukup tinggi. Selain itu, korelasi nilai SL dan HI menunjukkan tingkat hubungan sangat kuat yang tercermin dari koefisien korelasi (r) = 0,932, yaitu semakin besar nilai SL maka semakin besar pula nilai HI.

Abstract

West Java is an area that has a high vulnerability to disasters, the condition is influenced by a complex geological structure so prone to geological disasters, and faults can be studied by morphotectonic study approach. With morphometric analysis were used to identify the character of the shape of a region and its relation to the level of tectonic activity. Comparison of morphotectonic aspects of the Quaternary and Tertiary age rocks will involve active tectonic processes in it. Research carried out by three methods, namely studio methods with data measuring of straightness of the ridge and valleys, Rb, Dd, and Smf, field methods by means of geological mapping data retrieval strike / dip, fractures, megascopic descriptions of rock, image capture of the field, laboratory methods by analyzing fracture data and verification of field data with the data link between the studio and the activeness of faults in the study area. The activeness of fault and other geomorphological parameters can be determined by a variety of morphotectonic approaches, morphotectonic parameters such as Rb, Dd, Smf and straightness of ridge and valleys has become a reference in determining the activeness. The geological structure in the area of research are in form of faults and  fractures, which relatively trending northwest - southeast. Fault is evidenced by their straightness of DEM image as well as fracture data  found in the field.   Keyword : Morphometry, Morphotectonic, Watershed, Active tectonic, DEM Jawa Barat merupakan salah satu wilayah yang memiliki kerawanan bencana tinggi, kondisi ini dipengaruhi oleh tatanan geologi yang kompleks sehingga rawan dengan bencana geologi, sesar dapat diketahui dengan pendekatan studi morfotektonik. Dengan cara analisis morfometri digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi karakter bentuk suatu wilayah dan kaitannya dengan tingkat aktivitas tektonik. Perbandingan aspek-aspek morfotektonik pada batuan berumur Kuarter dan Tersier akan melibatkan proses tektonik aktif di dalamnya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan  tiga metode yaitu metode studio dengan pengukuran data kelurusan punggungan, lembahan, Rb, Dd dan Smf, metode lapangan dengan cara pemetaan geologi pengambilan data strike/dip,kekar,deskripsi batuan secara megaskopis, pengambilan foto lapangan, metode laboratorium dengan menganalisi data kekar dan mengintervetasi pembuktian data lapangan dengan data studio dan adanya keterkaitan antara keaktifan sesar di wilayah penelitian. Keaktifan sesar dan parameter geomorfologi dapat diketahui dengan berbagai pendekatan morfotektonik, Parameter morfotektonik seperti Rb, Dd, Smf dan Kelurusan tersebut menjadi acuan dalam menentukan keaktifan. Struktur geologi di daerah penelitian berupa kekar dan sesar yang berarah relatif barat laut – tenggara. Sesar tersebut dibuktikan oleh adanya kelurusan dari citra DEM serta data kekar yang ditemukan dilapangan.Kata kunci : Morfometri, Morfotektonik, DAS, Tektonik aktif, DEM

Abstract

Explorative and descriptive are typical research of geology. Quantitative analysis is limited whereas cost research is expensive. Actually, there are some aspects of geology require quantitative analysis, mainly in vertical and lateral distribution. They need tool for do it.Several quantitative themes of geological research are slope analysis, erosion-sedimentation calculation, calculation of minerals proportion, calculation of chemical elements proportion, calculation of drainage density, calculation of fracture, etc. They need powerful tool for support data analysis with high accuracy.Many soft ware of data processor are available. They include graphical and non-graphical data. We can use that soft ware as tool for data analysis. Nevertheless, a part of them have limited in integrated data analysis. Commonly, Geographic Information System (GIS) soft ware can become choice. The available specification comprehension of soft ware can upgrade quality of data analysis.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKarst Teluk Mayalibit memiliki sistem hidrogeologi yang unik karena sebagian pola aliran bukan berasal dari kawasan karst itu sendiri. Penelitian sistem hidrogeologi karst ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis hidrokimia yang dikompilasi dengan observasi hidrogeologi di lapangan. Berdasarkan analisis data hidrokimia seperti temperatur, derajat keasaman (pH), tekanan parsial terhadap CO2 (PCO2),  dan indeks kejenuhan terhadap kalsit (SIkalsit) menunjukan bahwa pada elevasi 40-80 mdpl termasuk dalam zona transisi dengan sifat sistem aliran terbuka atau rongga,  sedangkan pada elevasi 20-40 mdpl analisis hidrokimia menunjukan bahwa elevasi ini termasuk zona aliran menerus dengan sifat sistem aliran tertutup atau difusi. Kata Kunci : Karst, Sistem Hidrogeologi, Hidrokimia, Sistem Aliran, Teluk Mayalibit.ABSTRACT Karst of Mayalibit Bay has a unique hydrogeological system because some flow patterns are not from karst area itself. Karst of hydrogeological system research is done by using hydro chemical analysis which is compiled by hydrogeological observation in the field. Based on analysis of hydro chemical data such as temperature, degree of acidity (pH), partial pressure on CO2 (PCO2), and saturation index of calcite (SIcalcite) showed that at elevation 40-80 mdpl included in transition zone with open flow system or cavity, 20-40 mdpl hydro chemical analysis indicates that this elevation includes a continuous flow zone with the nature of the closed flow system or diffusion. Keywords: Karst, Hydrogeology System, Hydro chemical, Flow System, Mayalibit Bay.

Abstract

Studies in this research are the characteristics of one of material deposits from the volcanoes eruption. Volcanic activity in Indonesia is a natural phenomenon that can occur at any time. Both material losses and loss of life will always happen at any moment in particular that deal directly with the volcano. The volcanic activity was resulted is deposition of debris avalanches. The study was conducted deposition of debris avalanches in complex of Papandayan volcanoes, Garut, West Java.In this study conducted by the interpretation of high resolution image data , and morphometry sub watershed for the morphologic aspects. The study was conducted to compare the deposited of debris avalanches from the eruption in 1772 and the eruption of 2002. Descriptive analysis of physical properties indicate a difference in both the materials. Deposition of debris avalanches in 1772 showed that sediment material is dominated by the matrix with widespread distribution . While the deposition of debris avalanches in 2002 are dominant fragment sizes and larger components and distribution concentrated in the upper reaches of the river that flows into the Cimanuk river. Both of debris avalanches are absent a scoria, pumice and large juveniles, which is one parameter of explosive. Analysis of  watershed morphometry showed different drainage densities in both materials, which is conducted to determine the resistance response of rocks whereas deposited debris avalanches. Keywords : Eruption, Debris avalanches, G. Papandayan. Studi dalam penelitian ini mengenai karakteristik salah satu endapan material hasil erupsi gunung api. Aktifitas gunung api di Indonesia merupakan salah satu fenomena alam yang dapat terjadi setiap saat. Kerugian baik materi maupun korban jiwa akan selalu terjadi setiap saat di khususnya yang berhadapan langsung dengan gunung api tersebut. Salah satu hasil dari aktifitas gunung api tersebut menghasilkan endapan debris avalanches. Penelitian endapan debris avalanches  ini dilakukan di komplek Gunung api Papandayan, Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat.Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara interpretasi data citra resolusi tinggi, dan morfometri sub DAS untuk aspek morfologinya. Penelitian dilakukan untuk membandingkan endapan debris avalanches hasil erupsi tahun 1772 dan erupsi tahun 2002. Hasil analisis deskriptif sifat fisik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kedua endapan tersebut. Endapan debris avalanches  tahun 1772 menunjukkan material endapan yang didominasi oleh matrik dengan penyebaran yang luas. Sedangkan endapan debris avalanches tahun 2002 dominan ukuran fragmen dan komponen yang besar dan penyebarannya terkonsentrasi di hulu sungai yang mengalir ke sungai Cimanuk. Kedua endapan tidak ditemukan  pumis dan skoria serta juvenil yang besar yang merupakan salah satu parameter eruspsi eksplosif. Dari analisis morfometri daerah aliran sungai memperlihatkan kerapatan pengaliran yang berbeda di kedua endapan, yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui respon resistensi batuan dimana endapan debris avalanches diendapkan. Kata kunci : Erupsi,  Debris avalanches, G. Abstract

This research background are potency and limitation aspects in construction material resourcesapplication in southern part of Bandung Regency. The problem of research is role of lava characteristicin application designe as construction material resources. This research use deduction method withprobabilityapproach. Result of research show lava at Malimping area and surrounding have characteristicare grey-black, fine to intermediate texture, basaltic. A part of lava has sheeting joint and anothermassive. Based on petrographic analysis, a part of lava has a little alteration. That condition showed bya part of pyroxene had altered to chlorite. Result of chemical and physical analysis of rock show lava atMalimping area and surrounding is basalt. Potency of lava at Malimping is significane as contructionmaterial. Based on morphometry calculation and lava outcrop spreading, lava potency estimated44.573.500 m3. Nevertheless, that all potency can’t used because it spread in upper area of Citarumriver. Based on lava characteristics, outcrop position, regulation of landuse and trend of communityneed so that basalt lava potency used as dimention stone. That using can up value of contructionmaterial so that income of community in that surrounding area can up too.
