Abstract

The aeronautics sector, including aircraft construction, parts supply or maintenance of aircraft parts, and repair and modification services, is currently one of the most dynamic industries in the world. The business performance of aircraft maintenance companies is highly dependent on the Safety Management System (SMS) and Capability Building (CB). This research is a synthesis formed integrative based on various previous research literature modified by researchers. The population in this study were company leaders or parties representing them in private and state-owned Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) companies, totaling 119, with a sample of 91 respondents. This research was verification research with an explanatory survey. Data analysis used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach through the SmartPLS software. We found that MRO business performance is influenced by SMS and CB in aircraft maintenance service companies in Indonesia. CB mediated the effect of SMS on Business Performance in aircraft maintenance service companies in Indonesia. MRO business performance can be further improved with intervention from CB based on SMS integration. SMS was so integrated with CB that SMS could not develop without CB, and vice versa. One aspect that needed to continue to develop here was an assessment related to identifying accident risks in the SMS, which was integrated with various maintenance and overhauls in the CB. Keywords: Capability Building; MRO business performance; Safety Management System; Indonesian aviation sector.

Abstract

The development of fashion trends has undergone major changes performance in Ghana's local government procurement, taking into account government regulations, supplier capacity and capability, procurement transparency, and supplier diversity. The ordinary least squares regression technique was employed to statistically evaluate data from procurement stakeholders. Our research demonstrates that transparent tools enhance supplier satisfaction and performance without affecting perceptions of justice. Conversely, strict government procurement regulations significantly improve perceptions of fairness as well as supplier satisfaction and performance. Supplier capacity and capability disparities adversely affect the results, while diversity programs do not significantly impact either outcome. The results indicate that suppliers are more content and perform better when strict restrictions and transparency mechanisms are in place. However, inadequate execution of diversity policies and competence discrepancies undermine fairness and engagement. This research supports the resource-based view theory, which contends that robust procurement regulations are essential for achieving long-term success. Legislators should prioritize capacity-building programs and diversity initiatives to ensure successful and equitable procurement procedures. This research is distinctive in that it surpasses the conventional compartmentalized approach by conducting a comprehensive and concurrent analysis of a multitude of procurement aspects. This comprehensive approach, which illuminates the interplay between numerous factors, has the potential to enhance public procurement policy and strategy.

Abstract

Capacity is the production, processing volume or the number of units that canproduced by a facility in a certain period. In 2013, PT. X through the mill 1A on ammoniaunit plan amounted to 296.300 tonnes of ammonia production, but production of ammoniaproduced as much as 260,910.61 tons while its design capacity of 365,000 tons and ureaproduction plan for 443,000 but as many as 384,275 tonnes of produced when its designcapacity of 629,625 tons. The difference in actual production capacity plan indicates thatthe factories 1A requires analysis of the production capacity in order to obtain strategicsteps to increase production. Models developed capacity analysis is to compare the actualcapacity of the capacity design, utility, efficiency, and capacity unused. The results thatproduced approximately 71.5% of its design capacity, production capacity lost due to annualmaintenance by 6.5% and due to the breakdown of 13% and unused production capacityby 9% of capacity its design. While the urea units that produce products in approximately61% of its design capacity, production capacity lost due to the annual maintenance of 2.5%and due to the break down of 13.5% and unused production capacity by 23% of its designcapacity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze sales-boosting strategies for fashion products through live streaming by MSMEs in Indonesia, focusing on the roles of communication skills, platform advertising, and pricing strategies. A mixed-method approach is employed, combining qualitative data gathered through in-depth interviews with five experienced MSMEs in the fashion sector in West Java and quantitative data collected from 101 active MSMEs using purposive sampling from industry databases. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and PLS to examine the relationships among variables. The results indicate that practical communication skills during live streaming and the optimal use of platform advertising significantly increase sales volume. Competitive pricing strategies also play a crucial role in supporting successful live-streaming sales. The practical implications highlight the importance of MSMEs enhancing their communication proficiency and digital marketing strategies to leverage live-streaming opportunities, increasing their competitiveness, and contributing to national economic growth.

Abstract

This study designs a fresh-to-cup coffee business development model in West Java using the Triple Layered Business Model Canvas (TLBMC) approach. The main problem is the lack of implementation among coffee MSMEs in integrating sustainability into their business models. The research, conducted through a case study on MSMEs in Cimahi City, combines SWOT analysis, IFAS and EFAS matrices, and Plus Minus Implication Analysis (PMIA). Findings show strengths in product quality, marketing, and social impact, but weaknesses in space, distribution, and waste management. The IE matrix positions the business in the "Grow & Build" quadrant, recommending product expansion. TLBMC successfully integrates economic, environmental, and social sustainability dimensions, though some areas require improvement. PMIA results show positive potential in each sustainability dimension, highlighting opportunities for long-term business success. Overall, TLBMC provides strategic guidance for MSMEs to create sustainable economic, environmental, and social value.
