Abstract

Previous interpretation of QS. al-Anbiya’ ayat 7 states that this verse is the argument that the messenger is only from men. However, it turns out that the word rijāl in QS. al-Anbiya’ ayat 7 there are indications of the meaning of women which is correlated with rijāl in other verses in the Koran. This shows that there are differences in interpreting interpretations depending on the interpreter's period. This study aims to examine the historical meaning, historical significance, and contemporary dynamic significance of QS. al-Anbiya’ ayat 7   to find relevant and progressive meanings to the present. This research was assessed using qualitative methods. literature review comes from data sources related to research with the ma'nā cum magzā approach theory. This theory was chosen because it has a structured and comprehensive work tool in offering interpretations of the Koran, because it has united classical science with multidisciplinary knowledge. This research got the result that QS. al-Anbiya’ ayat 7 actually does not focus on the issue of apostolic identity, but this verse indicates a connection with the statement of the Quraysh who doubted the Prophet Muhammad SAW as a messenger, then, in terms of historical significance, the message of the verse is an affirmation that the Prophet Muhammad SAW receiving revelation and in terms of contemporary dynamic significance reveals the importance of having competence in preaching which includes several strategies to approach aspects of sociology, psychology, culture and the wise command to ask scientific professionals who are experts in their fields.

Abstract

This research is using the Direct Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) Technique to Teach Reading Comprehension for Eleventh Grade Students. The research problems of this research are how the use of the Direct Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) technique may increase reading comprehension for eleventh grade students and what are the obstacles of the students in using the Direct Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) technique in reading comprehension. The purposes of this research are to find out whether the Direct Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) technique may increase reading comprehension for eleventh grade students and to know the obstacles the students face in using the Direct Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) technique in reading comprehension. The subject of this research was the students of the second grade of SMAN 1 Kuta Baro in the academic year 2017-2018, which consisted of 18 students. The research was started on October 10th, 2017 and continued until October 24th, 2017. This is quantitative research with two research instruments, namely a test (pre- and post-test) and a questionnaire. Finally, the researcher concludes by suggesting that English teachers can use the DRTA technique as a good alternative method for teaching reading. However, it aids students' reading ability and comprehension by making texts easier to understand, making students more interactive, and encouraging students to engage in more active and critical thinking.

Abstract

Multiple occurrences of the pandemic have happened throughout human history. In Aceh, the westernmost province of Indonesia, the plague is known as Taeun, from the term Taeun Ijabroek, or the plague that attacks the lowly in dirty, bad clothes. It becomes Taeun Wabasampoh, the plague that attacks anyone, including the king and ulee balang (the local administrators). In November of 1873, a cholera outbreak reached Aceh, brought by the Dutch army. In December of the same year, the death toll reached 150, and 500 others were treated. In 1876, the death toll reached 1,400 as a result of Taeun. In 1947 and 1960s, another smallpox outbreak struck Aceh. This present study uses a qualitative method by using library inquiry with a descriptive analysis approach. Formulating the problem, how could the government's policy help deal with Taeun's outbreak in Aceh? Research indicates that the government's policy on the treatment of pandemics is divided into preventive and curative measures, whether through the medical or non-medical fields. Medical curative is performed by giving standard medicines to patients, while traditional curative is conventionally conducted by giving traditional medicines like herbs. Preventive measures are taken to keep ourselves and the environment clean. Judging from the traditional Acehnese home that offers water pots on the front side of the house next to the main door, providing isolation for the sick, the tulak bala (disaster prevention supplication) ceremony is performed by praying together. Additionally, advertising and vaccinations are used in contemporary preventive measures.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and programming (coding) necessitates an innovative response from the educational sector to foster a generation that is not only digitally competent but also possesses strong character and ethics. This paper proposes a conceptual model to develop a holistic educational paradigm through the synergy between the Love-Based Curriculum (Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta or KBC) and AI & coding education within the madrasah environment. The objective is to bridge the gap between technological advancement and humanitarian values by establishing KBC as the ethical foundation for the development and utilization of technology. The methodology employed involves a literature analysis and synthesis to integrate the philosophical foundations of KBC, namely ontology, epistemology, and axiology, with the principles of AI ethics. The resulting model focuses on applying "Panca Cinta" (Five Loves) as an ethical framework for AI and coding projects, wherein students learn to create technological solutions that are humanistic, tolerant, and sustainable. The primary contribution of this paper is to offer a theoretical framework that serves as a basis for future empirical research and policy formulation by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenag). Consequently, madrasahs can act as pioneers in cultivating a superior generation that is not only digitally proficient but also empathetic, compassionate, and socially responsible in the global era.

Abstract

This study investigates the linguistic phenomenon of code-mixing as exemplified in the YouTube content of Qania Fanani, with particular focus on its typological manifestations and the socio-communicative factors that motivate its use. The theoretical framework adopted is drawn from Muysken’s (2013) taxonomy, which delineates code-mixing into distinct structural categories. Employing a qualitative research design grounded in textual analysis, this study examines transcribed data extracted from four selected vlogs. The analysis reveals that insertion constitutes the predominant code-mixing type, occurring 250 times, whereas alternation appears with markedly lower frequency, at 29 instances. These distributional patterns suggest that Qania Fanani’s linguistic practice is characterized by a strategic and naturalistic deployment of code-mixing to achieve communicative functions such as enhanced clarity, discursive emphasis, and stylistic variation. Furthermore, the study identifies key social factors underpinning these patterns, most notably the speaker’s multilingual competence and the presence of lexical gaps, which together point to a high degree of metalinguistic awareness and flexible bilingual proficiency. The findings underscore the organic integration of code-mixing as a discursive resource among digital content creators, facilitating audience engagement and navigation across linguistically diverse communicative contexts. In doing so, this research contributes to the broader understanding of social media as a site of dynamic and situated language practice. Future research is encouraged to examine the receptivity of such code-mixed practices among viewers, particularly regarding potential influences on language preference, comprehension, and the pedagogical implications for language learning within digitally mediated environments.
