Abstract

Readiness of children to enter elementary school (SD) is always based on their ability to read, write and count (calistung) so that some elementary schools provide calistung ability requirements when entering elementary school. Stages of early age based on The Independent curriculum is 0-8 years old, so early education still lasts until the child steps on the 2nd grade. Therefore the government has launched a transition period program from early childhood to elementary school, which starts in 2023, so that children get their rights acquire the capabilities of the already established foundation. Based on the results of initial observations, the implementation of the transition period in each schools are different so that one reference is needed that can help the school to implement the program. Research it aims to identify the transition period program in 4 (four) schools by using phenomenological methods, so that can produce a transition period program model that can be adapted by other schools.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum aims to produce students to have three competencies: attitude, knowledge and skills.  Competence of attitude is divided into two, namely spiritual and social. Competence of social attitude is done during the learning process and assessment. But not on all subjects, the process and attitude assessment is done by the teacher. Assessment of attitudes in primary schools is done by classroom teachers, teachers of religious instruction lessons, PJOK, and extracurricular coaches. Social attitude is an integral part of social thinking because attitude is the fruit of thought. Learning Superflex® is a model developed in 2008 in the United States and in this research is adapted to help address issues related to social attitudes. This research uses descriptive analysis method. Some of the data is taken from the results of research that the author did and still runs until this year. The data is collaborated with the data obtained from the literature to produce this study. The conclusion of this study that innovative learning model depends on the creativity of teachers in generating motivation learners. The Superflex® learning model can be an inspiration for teachers as one of the innovative learning models that can build students' social attitudes.

Abstract

Pentingnya pembentukan karakter pada saat ini menjadi upaya pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kualitas kepribadian bangsa. Karakter baik sebagai komponen penting yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap orang dalam mewujudkan moralitas bangsa yang baik. Perilaku beriman, bertakwa, berakhlak mulia, dan kemandirian peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 9 Kota Bandung akan menjadi fokus penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh proyek "Bangunlah Jiwa dan Raganya". Pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan metode korelasi. Informasi diperoleh menggunakan angket berupa pengisian formulir kuesioner dan wawancara dengan desain penelitian lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proyek ini mencirikan sikap keimanan dan ketakwaan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, akhlak mulia pada kalangan pelajar Pancasila (X) dan kemandirian. Hal ini menegaskan adanya hubungan linier yang signifikan terhadap penguatan sikap (Y). Penemuan dari penelitian ini memperkuat korelasi linier yang siginifan bahwa proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (X) dengan sikap beriman dan bertaqwa terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berakhlaq mulia, serta sikap mandiri dari peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Kota Bandung.

Abstract

History is a science that has many meanings for everyone. In learning history aims to foster a sense of nationalism and pride in one's homeland. The purpose of the study is to explain the narrative of Indonesian-centric historiography in historical novels in Indonesia. This study follows the historical research procedure with the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. This study shows that history has a method, namely systematic principles and rules designed to help collect historical source materials efficiently, disseminate or critically examine these sources, and present conclusions in written form to increase historical awareness. Historical awareness can emerge in various ways, for example by getting to know local history, joining a history community to find historical sources, or reading historical novels. Historical novels can broaden readers' horizons about history because they also include stories, interpretations, and experiences of the author. As a result, reading history is more enjoyable for readers.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua anak usia 5–6 tahun beserta orang tua masing-masing sebagai narasumber utama. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam dengan orang tua, observasi langsung terhadap interaksi anak saat menonton dan menirukan konten TikTok, serta dokumentasi aktivitas berbahasa anak dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan TikTok berkontribusi pada peningkatan kosakata anak, terutama kosakata populer dan ungkapan gaul; namun terdapat pula kecenderungan penggunaan struktur kalimat yang sederhana dan pengulangan kata-kata tidak baku yang dipengaruhi oleh gaya bahasa kreator konten. Selain itu, durasi menonton yang berlebihan cenderung mengurangi kesempatan anak berlatih berbicara langsung dengan orang tua dan teman sebaya. Kesimpulannya, media sosial TikTok dapat menjadi sumber stimulasi bahasa tambahan bagi anak usia dini jika digunakan secara terkontrol dan disertai pendampingan orang tua. Disarankan agar orang tua menerapkan batasan waktu layar dan melakukan diskusi bersama setelah menonton untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan bahasa anak. Abstract. The research subjects consisted of two children aged 5–6 years and their respective parents as primary informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with parents, direct observation of children’s interactions while watching and mimicking TikTok content, and documentation of children’s everyday language activities. Analysis revealed that the intensity of TikTok use contributes to an expansion of children’s vocabulary, especially with popular terms and colloquial expressions; however, it also tends to promote the use of simple sentence structures and repeated nonstandard words influenced by content creators’ language styles. Moreover, excessive screen time reduces children’s opportunities for direct verbal practice with parents and peers. In conclusion, TikTok can serve as an additional source of language stimulation for early childhood if used in a controlled manner and accompanied by parental guidance. It is recommended that parents impose screen-time limits and engage in post-viewing discussions to optimize their children’s language development.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas upaya guru dalam mengembangkan berpikir logis menggunakan metode STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) pada usia 5-6 tahun. Berpikir logis merupakan kemampuan kognitif yang penting bagi anak, yang dapat di stimulasi melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang tepat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara sistematis untuk menemukan makna dan pola yang relevan dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menerapkan metode STEAM secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis anak-anak, termasuk dalam mengklasifikasikan benda berdasarkan warna, bentuk, dan ukuran. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa anak-anak yang terlibat dalam kegiatan STEAM menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan mereka untuk memahami pemikiran mereka sendiri dan menyelesaikan masalah. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa faktor yang dapat menjadi hambatan bagi anak-anak yang terlibat dalam kegiatan STEAM. Abstract. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of teacher efforts in developing logical thinking using the STEAM method (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) at the age of 5-6 years. Logical thinking is an important cognitive ability for children, which can be stimulated through the right learning approach. The method used in this research is qualitative research using a case study approach, which involves collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is then systematically analyzed to find meanings and patterns relevant to the research. The results showed that applying the STEAM method significantly improved children's logical thinking skills, including in classifying objects based on color, shape and size. In addition, the study found that children who engaged in STEAM activities showed improvement in their ability to understand their own thinking and solve problems. The study also identified some factors that could be barriers for children engaged in STEAM activities.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the influence of using YouTube as a learning medium on the learning motivation of 7th-grade students in Islamic Education lessons at Junior High School PGRI Lembang. The research employed a survey method with a quantitative approach. The study sample comprised 111 students, and data were collected using a Likert-scale-based questionnaire. The results of a simple linear regression analysis indicated that YouTube as a learning medium significantly impacts students' learning motivation, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a determination coefficient of 0.782. This shows that 78.2% of students felt that YouTube positively influenced their motivation during Islamic Education lessons. YouTube, as a learning medium, provides visual appeal, clear information, and active interaction, which support student engagement in the learning process. This study recommends integrating YouTube as an innovative strategy in Islamic Education lessons to enhance students' motivation and learning outcomes. Abstrak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa 78,2% siswa merasa bahwa YouTube membawa pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa saat mengikuti pembelajaran PAI. YouTube sebagai media pembelajaran memberikan daya tarik visual, kejelasan informasi, dan interaksi aktif yang mendukung keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi media YouTube sebagai strategi inovatif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Al-Qur’an memorization (tahfidz) learning at a Quran-based elementary school in Bandung City, focusing on the planning, implementation, and evaluation aspects of the program. This research applied a qualitative case study approach, involving the school principal, tahfidz teachers, students, and parents as informants. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with data triangulation. The findings indicate that program planning is carried out through annual meetings with tiered memorization targets for each grade, but the involvement of tahfidz teachers in planning remains limited. The tahfidz learning process utilizes talaqqi, tikrar, and murojaah methods, but faces challenges due to limited facilities and low parental support. Evaluations are conducted daily, monthly, and per semester but have not fully accommodated the diverse abilities of students. This study recommends increasing teacher-parent collaboration, improving learning facilities, and adjusting memorization targets to enhance the effectiveness and inclusivity of the program.

Abstract

Abstrak: Model Pembelajaran Kognitif Sosial di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Model Pembelajaran Kognitif Sosial di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi kepada guru di sekolah menengah kejuruan mengenai model pembelajaran kognitif sosial. Model pembelajaran ini dapat membantu peserta didik untuk mengembangkan keterampilan sosialnya sehingga dapat beradaptasi dengan lingkungan kerjanya. Model pembelajaran kognitif sosial pertama kali di observasi oleh Albert Bandura pada tahun 1960-an dengan memberikan perhatian pada faktor kognitif seperti ekspektasi dan keyakinan serta pengaruh sosial para panutan. Guru dapat menjadi panutan serta membantu siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan belajarnya bahkan untuk siswa yang paling sulit. Dengan pembelajaran ini, siswa dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri dan menjadi agen pembelajar yang dapat belajar mandiri sepanjang hayat dan mampu menyesuaikan dengan perubahan yang terjadi.
