Abstract

The low development of early reading ability in early childhood can be caused by many factors, one of which is due to lack of stimulation from the family environment. The role of the family environment becomes very important, because both quantity and quality of the presence of children are spent more in the family. The family-based environmental print model is an innovation that can be used in stimulating early reading skills in children in the family. To be able to obtain optimal results in the use of this model, parents must understand the characteristics of early childhood learning. A correct parent's understanding of the characteristics of children's learning can make the stimulation process take place pleasantly, according to the child's learning style without any element of coercion from parents to children. In addition, the active role of parents can also be done with the right portion of the sign of showing an uncaring attitude or just letting go of the extraction of children's interest in media and conditions that have been prepared using the environmental print model.Key Word: Parental Understanding, Characteristics, Learning, Early Reading, Environmental Print

Abstract

The School From Home (SFH) policy at the time of the Covid 19 outbreak now has a significant impact on various parties, especially early childhood and parents. The transfer of massive learning stimulation activities from school to home shows that not all parents are ready. This unpreparedness has a negative impact on both parents and children. There is a lot of data about the complaints of parents who are not able to provide optimal stimulation for their children, even to the appearance of words and actions that are out of control from parents which are very important for children, both physically and psychologically. The phenomenon of parents' unpreparedness requires assistance from various parties, especially academics and medical doctors. The participation of academics and educational education in sharing knowledge and skills will increase the readiness of parents in stimulating various aspects of AUD intelligence in the family environment. It is hoped that more and more academics will be able to improve the knowledge and skills of the community so that efforts to educate future creation in the future will be more easily realized.

Abstract

The era of information technology has a huge impact on human behavior, including in early childhood. The closeness that is quite intimate between children from an early age with various information technology equipment has brought various changes in children's behavior. Today's children tend to be more aggressive, lacking social and individual concern. Parents need to take this condition seriously so that it does not have a negative impact on the behavior and character of their children when they grow up. Behavioristic theory is a phenomenal theory and is one of the theories discovered and used by educational experts in developing and controlling human behavior. However, is this theory still relevant enough to be used in the development of children's behavior in this information technology era? The results of the analysis related to behavioristic theory and the characteristics of early childhood through various literature studies have concluded that behavioristic theory is still very suitable for use by parents in developing and controlling children's behavior today. So it is advisable for parents to continue to use behavioristic theory as a strategy in developing early childhood behavior. Keywords: Relevance,  Behavioristic Theory, Positive Behavior, Early Childhood,  The Era Of Information Technology

Abstract

Gross and fine motor development are crucial aspects that determine children’s readiness to learn, interact, and adapt to their surroundings. Delays in these areas affect independence, self-confidence, and social skills. This descriptive study aims to provide an in-depth overview of the parental role in preventing motor development delays through proper stimulation, supportive parenting, and cross-sector collaboration. The study used a qualitative descriptive method based on literature review and simple field observation. The findings reveal that nutrition, insufficient stimulation, and overprotective parenting are the main causes of motor delays. Parents play a key role as primary facilitators in shaping children’s physical habits and providing meaningful learning experiences. Planned stimulation, safe exploration spaces, and active involvement in daily activities significantly contribute to optimal motor development. Collaboration among families, educators, and health workers is essential for sustainable prevention efforts.
