Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential success of digital transaction tax collection policies. The method used is a descriptive research that has a qualitative approach (data comes from literature). Data analysis using the SWOT method (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats). The results of the research based on the calculations of the IFAS and EFAS matrices as well as cartesius diagram images, it can be analyzed that the strategy used by the Government is a survival strategy (WO/Weakness Opportunity Strategy) in supporting the success of digital taxation policies in Indonesia. WO strategy is an analysis with a strategy of managing or managing available opportunities to minimize or eliminate existing weaknesses or limitations. The government's WO strategy is that DGT's access to data search for foreign business actors is hampered and it is difficult to track foreign business actor's tax compliance. By maximizing international information exchange facilities, this obstacle can be overcome. Weak monitoring and law enforcement for non-compliance with VAT collectors, the government can learn from international agreement forums organized by OECD and G-20 countries and the exchange of international information.

Abstract

Printed shirt vendors in Kudus have always produces the same Menara Kudus Mosque, a religious tourist attraction, graphics such that they were no longer appealing and able to boost their sales. They were not able to deliver designs that are fashionable, visually communicative, and novel given their lack of knowledge and skill of contemporary and creative designs. The casework, as discussed in this paper, served to enable and fortify printed shirt graphic designing skills, particularly to produce designs that are fashionable. This program was conducted at the Fastriver store or production house in Kudus and was intended for vendors of screen-printed shirts in Kudus with the main partners being Fastriver and Passive Clothing. Of the vendors, there were 12 individuals that participated in the program. Owners, designers, and workers of the local vendors were involved so as to synergistically generate and develop creative ideas. The implementing team consisted of three UNNES art lecturers assisted by three students and one community service staff. The team coordinated with the Kudus Regency Culture and Tourism Office, Fastriver, Passive Clothing, LP2M UNNES, as well as design experts to ensure the activity could take place effectively. The program took form as a design workshop, which delivered a theoretical introduction to design and practical design activities. The workshop was carried out 3 times totaling to approximately 8 hours. The first workshop explicated the meaning, function, history, visual elements, design principles, methodology, and typology of contemporary shirt designs. Workshops 2 and 3 were focused on shirt designing practical accompanied by internal and external critical evaluations of what had been put into practice. The program provided an understanding of design concepts as well as intense and guided exploratory experiences in utilizing local idioms and presenting them in a manner that is contemporary. Out of the program, the participants were able to increase their sense and creativity in designing shirts, producing 20 designs on paper (2-dimensional prototypes) and 2 ready-made shirts (3-dimensional prototypes). The 20 two-dimensional prototypes were revised after being critically evaluated by the public (visitors), souvenir sellers, and design experts. Evaluation was done so that the designs produced were appropriate, relevant and marketable in the market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of integrity, competence, organizational communication, and work environment on employee performance, with work motivation and organizational commitment as mediating variables, in Islamic banks in Malang City, East Java. A quantitative explanatory research approach was employed. Data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to 150 employees of an Islamic bank, selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that competence and organizational communication have positive and significant effects on employee performance, while integrity and work environment do not have a significant direct effect on performance. However, all four variables—integrity, competence, organizational communication, and work environment—have positive and significant effects on work motivation and organizational commitment. Work motivation and organizational commitment are also proven to have positive and significant effects on employee performance. Mediation analysis reveals that work motivation and organizational commitment fully mediate the effects of integrity and work environment on employee performance, and partially mediate the effects of competence and organizational communication on performance. These findings emphasize that improving employee performance in Islamic banks depends not only on technical competence and effective communication, but also on the organization’s ability to foster integrity, create a supportive work environment, and systematically manage employee motivation and commitment

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate in depth how seventh graders at SMPN 4 Cikarang Barat use plastic trash as a medium for weaving crafts as part of their expressive learning.  An ecologically conscious and contextually aware art education is the impetus for this study's foundational work.  Students' comprehensive understandings and experiences with recycled craft methods were investigated using a qualitative methodology based on a case study type.  Fifteen students and two teachers participated in semi-structured interviews, while visual documentation of students' woven products (carpets, bags, and baskets produced from recycled plastic) and participatory observation during the crafting process completed the data collection.  The thematic analysis yielded three primary conclusions: (1) the creative process encourages collaborative and contextual learning, (2) crafts become a means of self-expression that reflect students' identities and personal experiences, and (3) the growth of ecological awareness through meaningful recycling practices. These findings reinforce the theory of social constructivism and eco-literacy, and affirm that recycled crafts are not merely technical skills, but rather media for symbolic expression and the transformation of environmental values. This research contributes to expanding the understanding of crafts as a multidimensional educational medium and provides practical implications for the development of sustainability-based art curricula. In order to provide a more in-depth examination of the symbolic characteristics of crafts or to apply a comparable method in various cultural contexts and educational levels, further research is necessary.

Abstract

Accurate and well-calibrated heart disease risk prediction is essential for supporting medical decision-making. This study analyzes Logistic Regression as an applied statistical model for heart disease prediction using the UCI Heart Disease dataset. Beyond discrimination metrics, we explicitly focus on probability reliability by evaluating calibration through the Brier score, calibration slope, and intercept, and by quantifying the impact of post-hoc calibration (isotonic regression and Platt scaling) on both calibration and discrimination. Model validation was conducted using stratified 5-fold cross-validation with AUROC, AUPRC, accuracy, and F1-score as evaluation metrics. The results show that Logistic Regression achieved competitive performance (AUROC 0.903; AUPRC 0.911; Accuracy 0.822; F1-score 0.835) with well-calibrated probability estimates relative to Random Forest and Gradient Boosting under the evaluated setting. Feature importance analysis using permutation methods identified chest pain type, number of major vessels (ca), ST depression (oldpeak), and exercise-induced angina (exang) as key predictors consistent with clinical literature. These findings indicate that simple applied statistical modeling, when paired with rigorous calibration assessment, can provide interpretable risk estimates that are more suitable for threshold-based decision support in early heart disease screening.

Abstract

This study examines the use of mind mapping in a collaborative learning model to strengthen Link-and-Match (8+i) partnerships in a Center of Excellence vocational school. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving school leaders and productive teachers in the Light Vehicle Engineering program at SMK Bhakti Loa Janan, Kutai Kartanegara, Indonesia. The findings show that mind mapping functions as an analytical and collaborative tool to visualize key partnership components, including curriculum alignment, guest teachers, internships (PKL), competency certification, teaching factory, and graduate absorption. The mapped analysis reveals that while partnerships with industry are established through MoUs and several programs have been implemented, gaps remain in the consistent application of project-based learning (PjBL), teaching factory utilization, technology updates, and teacher capacity building. Mind mapping supports stakeholders in identifying implementation gaps and prioritizing improvements to enhance the sustainability and effectiveness of industry collaboration in vocational education.
