Abstract

ABSTRAKNurhayati. UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR AKUNTANSI MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LEARNING CYCLE PADA SISWA KELAS X-AK1 JURUSAN AKUNTANSISMK BATIK 2 SURAKARTA TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014. Juni 2014.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar akuntansi pada siswa kelas X-AK1 SMK Batik 2 Surakarta melalui penerapan model pembelajaran learning cyclelearning cycle.Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X-AK1 SMK Batik 2 Surakarta yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari guru, siswa dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, tes, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik untuk menguji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan teknik analisis ssecara kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar akuntansi. Peningkatan terjadi pada siklus I, walaupun belum optimal. Pelaksanaan siklus II menyebabkan keaktifan siswa meningkat dengan kualifikasi sangat baik dan hasil belajar siswa mencapai kualifikasi sangat tinggi.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar akuntansi pada siswa kelas X-AK1 SMK Batik 2 Surakarta.Kata kunci: learning cycle, keaktifan, hasil belajar.ABSTRACTNurhayati. The research conducted in two cycles with each cycle consist of planning, performing action, doing observation, and reflecting. The subject of this research are the students of grade X-AK1 student of SMK Batik 2 Surakarta that consist of 30 students. The data source from student, teacher and document. The data collected by doing observation, test, documentation and interview. The technique to the test validity of the data are triangulation of data sources and techniques. The data analyzed by using descriptive analysis and qualitative analysis.The result of the research showed that by applying learning cycle model can improve the activeness and learning result of accountancy. The improvement happened in first cycle, eventhough it is not optimal yet. The performing of second cycle made both ofstudents? activeness get very good qualification and students? learning result reach very high qualification.The research concludes that the applying of learning cycle model can improve the activeness and students? learning result in accountancy for grade X-AK1 of SMK Batik 2 Surakarta.Keyword: learning cycle, activeness, learning result.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri Jumapolo tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh siswa SMA Negeri Jumapolo. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Data perhatian orang tua dan motivasi belajar diperoleh dengan metode angket. Data prestasi belajar siswa diperoleh dengan metode dokumentasi. Uji coba dilakukan pada 30 siswa SMA Negeri Jumapolo diluar sampel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diambil simpulan, (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SMA Negeri Jumapolo. (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SMA Negeri Jumapolo. (3) Terdapat pengaruh perhatian orang tua dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Siswa SMA Negeri Jumapolo.   Kata Kunci: Perhatian Orang Tua, Motivasi Belajar, Prestasi Belajar Siswa ABSTRACT This research was conducted at State Senior Secondary School of Jumapolo in Academic Year 2012/2013. This research used the descriptive quantitative research method, the population of the research was all of the students of the school. The samples of the research were taken by using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data of the research of the parental attention and the learning motivation were gathered through questionnaire. The data of the learning achievement were gathered through documentation. Try out were done to 30 students of the school excluding the samples. The data of the research were gathered the multiple regression analysis. The results of the research are as follows: (1) there is a significant effect of the parental attention on the learning achievement of the students of State Senior Secondary School of Jumapolo. (2) there is a significant effect of the learning motivation on the learning achievement of the students of State Senior Secondary School of Jumapolo. (3) there is a simultaneously significant effect of the parental attention and the learning motivation on the learning achievement of the students of State Senior Secondary School of Jumapolo. Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan prestasi belajar Akuntansi melalui model pembelajaranaktif Inquiring Minds Want To Knowpadasiswakelas X Akuntansi SMK Murni 2 Surakarta TahunAjaran 2012/2013.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (classroom action research).Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Akuntansi SMK Murni 2 Surakarta yang berjumlah 21 siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan persentase tingkat kemampuan afektif, psikomotorik, dan kognitif siswa. Rata-rata persentase tingkat kemampuan afektif siswa pada siklus I sebesar 69,29% menjadi 78,10% pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebesar 8,81%. Persentase tingkat kemampuan psikomotorik siswa 70,24% pada siklus I menjadi 77,38% pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebesar 7,14%. Rata-rata nilai tingkat kemampuan kognitif siswa 69,42 pada siklus I menjadi 77,90 pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebesar 8,48. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran aktif Inquiring Minds Want To Know dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar akuntansi (baik proses maupun hasil). Hal tersebut terefleksi dari beberapa indikator penilaian kemampuan siswa yang mengalami peningkatan dari setiap siklusnya.Kata kunci: pembelajaran aktif, Inquiring Minds Want To Know, prestasi belajar akuntansi.   ABSTRACTThe objective of research was to find out whether or not there is an improvement of Accounting learning achievement through inquiring minds want to know type of active learning model in the X Accounting graders of SMK Murni 2 Surakarta in the school year of 2012/2013. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of research was the X Accounting graders of SMK Murni 2 Surakarta consisting of 21 students. The result of research showed the increased percentage of affective, psychomotor, and cognitive ability levels among the students. The mean percentage affective level was 69.29% in cycle I and 78.10% in cycle II, increasing by 8.81%. The mean percentage of psychomotor ability was 70.24% in cycle I and 77.38% in cycle II, increasing by 7.14%. The mean percentage of cognitive ability was 69.42% in cycle I and 77.90% in cycle II, increasing by 8.48%. Considering the research conducted, it could be concluded that the inquiring minds want to know type of active learning model use could improve the accounting learning achievement (either process or product). It was reflected on several indicators of student ability assessment improving in each cycle. Keywords: active learning, inquiring minds want to know, accounting learning achievement.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar akuntansi dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran NHT siswa kelas XI IPS di sebuah SMA Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 di sebuah SMA Surakarta yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran NHT dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XI IPS di sebuah SMA Surakarta. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari beberapa indikator sebagai berikut: (1) Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together pada indikator motivasi belajar siswa mengalami kenaikan sebesar 12,50% yang mulanya 68,43% pada siklus I menjadi 80,93% pada siklus II, (2) indikator keaktifan siswa dalam bertanya mengalami peningkatan dari 43,75% pada siklus I menjadi 71,87% pada siklus II, (3) indikator keaktifan siswa dalam diskusi mengalami peningkatan dari 43,75% pada siklus I menjadi 75% pada siklus II, dan (4) prestasi belajar menunjukkan peningkatan ketuntasan dari 62,50% pada siklus I menjadi 82,25% pada siklus II. kata kunci: numbered head together, motivasi belajar, prestasi belajar   ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are to improve the learning motivation and the learning achievement in Accounting of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program of Senior Secondary School of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013. The research used the classroom action research. The subject of the research were the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 2 of a Senior Secondary School of Surakarta as many as 32 students. The results of the research show that the application of the learning model of NHT can improve the learning motivation and the learning achievement in Accounting of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 2 of a Senior Secondary School of Surakarta. This is indicated by several indicators as follows: 1) There is an increase of 12.50% in the learning motivation of the students. The percentage of their learning motivation is 68.43% in Cycle I, and it becomes 80.93% in Cycle II. 2) There is an increase in the activeness of the students to raise questions. The percentage of their activeness to raise questions is 43.75% in Cycle I, and it becomes 71.87% in Cycle II. 3) There is an increase in the activeness of the students in discussion. The percentage of their activeness in discussion is 43.75% in Cycle I, and it becomes 75% in Cycle II. 4) There is an increase in the classical learning completeness of the students as indicated by their learning achievement. The number of the students to complete their classical learning is (62.50%) in Cycle I, and it becomes (82.25%) in Cycle II. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran akuntansi siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan media permainan puzzle. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus di mana masing-masing siklus dilalui dengan empat tahapan, yaitu (1) perencanaan; (2) pelaksanaan; (3) observasi; (4) refleksi. Sumber data diperoleh dari tempat, aktivitas, dan dokumen. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas data menggunakan triagulasi, expert opinion, dan key respondent review. Analisa data menggunakan reduksi data, paparan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan media permainan puzzle dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa. Hal ini terbukti dengan fakta-fakta bahwa prosentase prestasi belajar siswa pada pratindakan sebesar 29,41%, siklus I meningkat menjadi 71,43%, siklus II meningkat menjadi 93,94%, dan siklus III meningkat menjadi 100%. Kata kunci: Prestasi belajar, Teams Games Tournament (TGT), Puzzle ABSTRACT This research are to know increase learning achievements of accounting subjects students class X accounting 2 SMK Negeri Banyudono 1 academic years of 2012/2013 through the application of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with the media puzzle game. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in three cycles where each cycle passed with four stages, namely (1) planning; (2) implementation; (3) observation and (4) reflection. Source data obtained from places, events and documents. The ollection of data obtained by through observation, tests and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triagulasi, expert opinion and key respondent review. Data analysis using data reduction, exposure data and tethering the conclusion. The results showed that through the application of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with the media puzzle game can increase learning achievements of students in accounting. This is evidenced by the following facts that student learning achievement on pratindakan of 29,41%, in cycle I increased to 71,43%, in cycle II increased to 93,94%, and in cycle III increases to 100%. Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan pendelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar mata diklat mengelola kartu persediaan pada siswa kelas XI Akuntansi 2 SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar dengan menggunakan model active learning tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS) dan untuk mengetahui gaya belajar visual, auditori, kinestetik yang paling sesuai dengan penerapan model pembelajaran tersebut.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Akuntansi 2 SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar. Data yang digunakan peneliti adalah Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), hasil angket dan hasil ulangan siswa sedangkan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Validasi data angket menggunakan uji validitas dan realibilitas sedangkan validitas data kelas menggunakan observer lain. Proses penelitian dilakukan dengan 2 siklus yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model active learning tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar pada mata diklat mengelola kartu persediaan pada siswa kelas XI Akuntansi 2 SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar terutama pada siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar auditori   ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are: (1) to improve the learning achievement of the 11th-grade students of Class Accounting 2 of State High Vocational School 1 of Karanganyar through the use of the Active Learning Model of Think-Pair-Share (TPS) type in the education and training subject of Inventory Card Management; and (2) to investigate which of the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles is most suitable to the implementation of the learning model. This research used the classroom action research method with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, and was conducted in three meetings and each meeting was held for 2 x 45 minutes (90 minutes). The research was conducted in collaboration among the class teacher, the researcher, and the students in Grade XI of Class Accounting 2 of State High Vocational School 1 of Karanganyar.  The data of this research consisted of Lesson Plan, result of the test, and inputs collected from the questionnaire. The data were gathered through observation, interview, questionnaire, and test. The data of the questionnaire were validated by using validity and reliability tests whereas the data of the class were validated by the other observer. the results of the research, a conclusion is drawn that the Active Learning Model of Think-Pair-Share (TPS) type can increase the learning achievement of the students in Grade XI of Class Accounting 2 of State High Vocational School 1 of Karanganyar in the education and training subject of Inventory Card Management, particularly those with auditory learning style. Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa melalui media komik dalam strategi pembelajaran preview question read reflect recite review (PQ4R) pada mata pelajaran akuntansi kelas XI IPS 5 SMA XYZ. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek utama penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 5 SMA XYZ yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes, metode pengamatan dan metode wawancara. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi data dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data model interaktif. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan empat tahap yang saling berkaitan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui media komik dalam strategi pembelajaran preview question read reflect recite review (PQ4R) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar pada siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III. Simpulan yang dapat diambil melalui media komik dalam strategi pembelajaran PQ4R dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas XI IPS 5 SMA XYZ. Kata Kunci: media komik, PQ4R, prestasi belajar ABSTRACTThe objective of this research are to improve the learning achievement in Accounting through comic media in the learning strategy of preview question read reflect recite review (PQ4R) of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School. The data of the research were gathered through test, observation, and in-depth interview. The data of the research were validated by using the data triangulation and the technique triangulation. They were then analyzed by using the interactive model of analysis. The procedures of the research included four interrelated phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result of the research shows that the media comic in the learning strategy of PQ4R can improve the learning achievement in Accounting of the students Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School in Cycles I, II, and III. Based on the result of the research, a conclusion is drawn that the use of the comic media in the learning strategy of PQ4R can improve the learning achievement in Accounting of the students in in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School.Keywords: Comic media, PQ4R, learning achievement

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar akuntansi peserta didik  Kelas XI IPS 4 SMA X melalui penerapan model pembelajaran direct instruction dengan media peta konsep.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas XI IPS 4 SMA X yang berjumlah 39 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 23 perempuan dan 16 laki-laki. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian tindakan ini adalah data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dan pendidik mata pelajaran akuntansi Kelas XI IPS 4 SMA X. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah triangulasi sumber dan metode. Validitas tes menggunakan validitas isi. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif komparatif. Analisis data kualitatif menggunakan reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap: (1) tahap pengenalan masalah, (2) tahap persiapan tindakan, (3) tahap penyusunan rencana tindakan, (4) tahap implementasi tindakan, (5) observasi dan interprestasi, (6) refleksi, (7) penyusunan laporan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran direct instruction dengan media peta konsep dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan pencapaian hasil belajar peserta didik. Pada pra tindakan persentase peserta didik yang memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) sebesar 28% (11 peserta didik) dan peserta didik yang belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) sebesar 72% (28 peserta didik) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 64,97. Pada siklus I persentase peserta didik yang memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) meningkat menjadi 73% (29 peserta didik) dan peserta didik yang belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) sebesar 27 % (10 peserta didik) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 80,84. Pada siklus II persentase peserta didik yang memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) meningkat menjadi 100% (39 peserta didik) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 89,84.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran direct instruction dengan media peta konsep dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar akuntansi peserta didik Kelas XI IPS 4SMA XKata kunci: model pembelajaran direct instruction, peta konsep, prestasi belajar. ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to improve the learning achievement in Accounting of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 4 of Senior Secondary School X through the application of the Direct Instruction learning model with the concept mapping media.This research used the classroom action research. The subjects of the research were the students as many as 39, 23 females and 16 males, in Grade XI of Social Science Program 4 of Senior Secondary School X. The data of the research consisted of the qualitative and quantitative ones. The sources of the data were the accounting teachers and the aforementioned students. The data were gathered through observation, in-depth interview, test, and documentation. They were validated by using data source triangulation and data gathering method triangulation. The quantitative data were analyzed by using the descriptive comparative statistical analysis, whereas the qualitative ones were analyzed by using the interactive model of analysis comprising three components, namely: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The procedures of the research consisted of seven phases, namely: (1) problem introduction, (2) action preparation, (3) action plan arrangement, (4) action implementation, (5) observation and interpretation, (6) reflection, and (7) report arrangement.      The result of the research shows that the application of the direct instruction learning model with the concept mapping media can improve the learning achievement in Accounting as proven by the improved achievement of their learning result. Prior to the treatment, the number of students who fulfilled the minimal completeness criteria is 11 students (28%), and that of students who did fulfill the minimal completeness criteria is 28 students (72%) with the class average score of 64.97. In Cycle I, following the treatment the number of the students who fulfilled the minimal completeness criteria becomes 29 students (73%), and that of students who did not fulfill the minimal completeness criteria becomes 10 students (27%) with the class average score of 80.84. In Cycle II, the number of students who fulfilled the minimal completeness criteria is 39 students (100%) with class average score of 89.84.Based on the result of the research, a conclusion is drawn that the application of the direct instruction learning model with the concept mapping media can improve the learning achievement in Accounting of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 4 of Senior Secondary School X.Keywords: Direct instruction learning model, concept mapping, and learning achievement.

Abstract

ABSTRAK              Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa: (1) pengaruh pendelegasian wewenang terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan, (2) pengaruh pembagian kerja terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan, (3) interaksi pengaruh antara pendelegasian wewenang dan pembagian kerja terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi  dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Kantor Cabang Surakarta yang berjumlah 84 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampling jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Kantor Cabang Surakarta yang berjumlah 84 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda.Hasil analisis data dan pembahasan menyatakan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pendelegasian wewenang terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan, (2) tidak terdapat pengaruh antara pembagian kerja terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan, (3) terdapat interaksi pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pendelegasian wewenang dan pembagian kerja terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan.Kata kunci: pendelegasian wewenang, pembagian kerja, prestasi kerja ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to analyse: (1) the effect of the delegation of authority on the job performance of employee, (2) the effect of the division of work on the job performance of employee, (3) the interaction effect of the delegation of authority and the division of work on the job performance of employee. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all employees of the Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Branch Office Surakarta totaling 84 people. Sampling technique in this study is saturated sampling. The sample in this study were all employees of the Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Branch Office Surakarta totaling 84 people. Techniques of data collection using questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis.The analysis of data and discussion declare that (1) there is positive and significant effect between the delegation of authority on the job performance of employee, (2) there is no effect between the division of work the job performance of employee, (3) there is positive and significant interaction effect between the delegation of authority and the division of work on the job performance of employee.Keywords: delegation of authority, division of work, job performance

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis apakah penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar akuntansi pada siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan strategi siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2  yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS), terlihat dari: (1) Keaktifan siswa mengalami peningkatan 13,3%; (2) Partisipasi siswa mengalami peningkatan 13,3%; (3) Ketuntas hasil belajar juga mengalami peningkatan 20%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar akuntansi. Kata kunci : TPS, prestasi belajar, akuntansi. ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to examine and analyze whether or not the application of Think-Pair-Share (TPS) type cooperative learning can improve accounting learning achievement on the XI IPS 2 graders of SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. This research is a classroom action research using the cycle strategy. The subject of this research is a class XI IPS 2 which totaled 30 student. Technique of data collecting is done by testing, observation, documentation, and interviews. The result of research showed that there is improvement on students accounting learning achievement through the application of Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative learning, seen in (1) Students activity increases 13,3, (2) students participation increases 13,3% (3) mastery learning student also increase 20%. The conclusion of this research is the application of Think Pair Share (TPS) type of cooperative learning can improve accounting learning achievement on the XI IPS 2 graders of SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar.
