Abstract

Gizi buruk merupakan salah satu masalah yang terjadi di Indonesia. Pada awal tahun 2017, Kecamatan Jetis, Kabupaten Mojokerto mempunyai balita penderita gizi buruk tertinggi. Data di Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Mojokerto, Bidang Kesehatan Masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 49 kasus yang ditangani oleh masing-masing puskesmas. Puskesmas Kupang dengan jumlah 28 kasus dan Puskesmas Jetis 21 kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan latar belakang kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga prasejahtera dengan balita penderita gizi buruk di Kecamatan Jetis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah latar belakang kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga prasejahtera beragam. Keluarga prasejahtera memperoleh pendidikan hanya sampai jenjang SD, SMP, dan SMA. Keluarga prasejahtera bekerja di sektor informal seperti tukang bangunan, kuli bangunan, pengrajin besek, penjual mainan dan ibu rumah tangga. Ada yang bekerja di sektor formal strata bawah yaitu sebagai buruh pabrik. Pendapatan yang diperoleh terendah yaitu Rp. 40.000/hari-Rp. 400.000 /bulan dan tertinggi Rp. 2.000.000 perbulan. Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kandungan zat gizi makro serta uji organoleptik es krim berbasis limbah kulit pisang raja (Musa paradisiaca Var Raja). Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental laboratorium dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang didasarkan pada analisis zat gizi makro es krim berbasis limbah kulit pisang raja dengan 3 perlakuan dengan penambahan kulit pisang raja sebanyak 0 % (A0), 16 % (A1) dan 20 % (A2). Uji daya terima es krim berbasis limbah kulit pisang raja menggunakan uji organoleptik berupa uji hedonik. Hasil penelitian uji laboratorium, kandungan gizi makro tiap 100 gram es krim berbasis limbah kulit pisang raja memiliki kandungan karbohidrat 41,864 gr (A0), 50,201 gr (A1), dan 55,887 gr (A2), Protein 1,915 gr (A0), 2,063 gr (A1), dan 3,569 gr (A2), Lemak 1,877 gr (A0), 2,512 gr (A1), dan 3,352 gr (A2). Uji organoleptik yang paling disukai adalah sampel A0. Kesimpulan penelitian ini kandungan gizi makro es krim berbasis limbah kulit pisang raja pada sampel A2 memiliki kandungan gizi lebih tinggi. Disarankan agar dapat mengolah limbah kulit pisang raja menjadi olahan pangan fungsional yang bernilai gizi tinggi.Kata Kunci: Kulit pisang raja, es krim, analisis zat gizi

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to describe the performance of lecturers and administration staff at Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study was conducted in Unesa during the Covid-19 pandemic, from March to October 2020. This study was designed as a population study, namely research using all populations as samples that included all Unesa lecturers and administration staffs. The data were collected using open and closed questionnaires with the respondents from lecturers, Head of Subdivisions, and students. The obtained data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis with narrative explanation. The data portrayed the following conclusions: (1) In coping with the Unesa administration staffs’ performance based on the Head’s evaluation, the Head of Subdivision gave excellent appreciation with a mean score of 3.31; (2) In accordance with the Unesa administration staff’s performance based on student assessment, the students gave a very good score with a mean score of 3.21; (3) Student assessment of lecturer’s performance for each faculty and postgraduate program, the highest planning score was postgraduate with an average score of 3.62 and the lowest score was the Faculty of Sports Science with an average score of 3.27, the highest implementation score was postgraduate with a mean score of 3.61 and the lowest was The Faculty of Sports Science with an average score of 3.2, the highest evaluation score was postgraduate with a score of 3.60 and the lowest was the Faculty of Sports Science with a score of 3.26; (4) based on the self-assessment of lecturer performance, the three biggest problems and constraints were 35.15% of signal problems; 20.78% of problems with costs and limited internet quota; and 12.84% of literacy problems. Three suggestions for improvements for online lectures were 33.87% of requirment to improve Vinesa: 32.80% of assistance with facilities and 8.28% of training/preparation/online lecture manuals. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kinerja dosen dan tenaga kependidikan Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) selama masa Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Unesa selama pandemi Covid-19 yaitu bulan Maret sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2020. Penelitian ini didesain sebagai penelitian populasi yaitu penelitian dengan menggunakan semua populasi sebagai sampel yaitu semua dosen dan tenaga kependidikan Unesa. Data diambil menggunakan teknik pengambilan data berupa angket terbuka dan tertutup dengan responden dosen, Kepala Sub Bagian dan mahasiswa. Data akan dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan penjelasan secara narasi. Data hasil penelitian memperoleh simpulan sebagai berikut: (1) Kinerja Tendik seluruh Unesa Berdasarkan Penilaian Atasan, Kasubbag memberikan apresiasi yang sangat baik dengan skor rerata 3,31; (2) Rerata Kinerja Tendik seluruh Unesa berdasarkan Penilaian Mahasiswa memberikan penilaian sangat baik dengan skor rerata 3,21; (3) Penilaian Mahasiswa terhadap Kinerja Perkuliahan Dosen Setiap Fakultas dan Pascasarjana, tahap perencanaan skor tertinggi adalah Pascasarjana dengan skor rerata 3,62 dan terendah Fakultas Ilmu Olahraga dengan skor rerata 3,27, tahap pelaksanaan tertinggi Pascasarjana dengan skor rerata 3,61 dan terendah Fakultas Ilmu Olahraga dengan skor rerata 3,2, tahap evaluasi tertinggi Pascasarjana dengan skor 3,60 dan terendah Fakultas Ilmu Olahraga dengan skor 3,26; (4) Berdasarkan Self Assesment Kinerja Dosen, tiga permasalahan dan kendala terbesar adalah 35,15% masalah signal; 20,78% masalah biaya dan keterbatasan kuota internet; dan 12,84% masalah literasi. Tiga saran perbaikan untuk perkuliahan on line adalah 33,87% perlu dilakukannya penyempurnaan Vinesa; 32,80% bantuan fasilitas dan 8,28% adanya pelatihan/persiapan/buku pedoman kuliah daring.

Abstract

The batik business in the Islamic community of the North coast of East Java is categorized as a micro and small business. One of the main problems of the business is capital adequacy. Capital adequacy is one instrument to run and increase productivity. Although the government has provided soft capital loans through banking instruments and rural development program, not all micro and small businesses are willing and able to access it. It is heavily relied on the entrepreneurs' financial literacy on banking sector and their willingness to use banking access. The survey results show that there are variations of the financial literacy level of batik entrepreneurs on banking sector. Batik entrepreneur who have high financial literacy were motivated to access the bank financiang service and improve its productivity.Education and location play a significant role to financial literacy on banking sector.

Abstract

Keberadaan burung di Ruang Terbuka Hijau mempunyai arti penting sebagai pereduksi tingkat stres manusia melalui suara khasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat mengenai tingkat kenyamanan berdasarkan keberadaan burung di Taman Kalpataru dan Taman PKOR. Pendataan keberadaan burung diambil menggunakan metode eksplorasi dan persepsi masyarakat dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Data keberagaman burung dianalisis menggunakan Indeks Keanekargaman Shanon-Wiener (H’) dan persepsi masyarakat dianalisis menggunakan Skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah burung yang ditemukan sebanyak 6 jenis yaitu walet linci, gereja erasia, cucak kutilang, layang-layang batu, tekukur biasa dan perkutut jawa. Tingkat kenyamanan berdasarkan keberadaan burung menurut persepsi masyarakat dinilai dari variabel keberadaan dan suara burung tergolong sangat nyaman, sedangkan keberagaman, jumlah, dan warna burung tergolong nyaman. Daya tarik dan tingkat kenyamanan RTH dapat ditingkatkan melalui keberagaman burung dengan cara menambah keberagaman pohon yang sesuai sebagai sumber pakan alami.

Abstract

Muda-Mudi Budhayana Surabaya merupakan pemilih pemula yang mempunyai perhatian dan berpartisipasi terhadap Pemilu, biasanya kelompok minoritas tidak mempunyai kepedulian terhadap agenda politik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap partisipasi kelompok minoritas dalam agenda pemilu paska era reformasi, ini juga untuk membuktikan bahwa mereka tidak hanya peduli terhadap dunia bisnis dan ekonomi, namun juga mempunyai perhatian dan berpartisipasi terhadap pemilu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan metode campuran antara kuantitaf dan kualitatif, supaya lebih menghasilkan penelitian yang mendalam. Peneliti menggunakan teori voting behavior untuk menganalisis perilaku pemilih Muda-Mudi Budhayana, yaitu seperti apa saja perilaku mereka dalam dunia politik. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa perilaku politik mereka berpartisipasi aktif dalam pemilu dengan wawasan politik terbuka setelah dicabutnya Instruksi Presiden No. 14 tahun 1967. Implikasi penelitian ini dalam dunia bisnis maka berpengaruh lebih bagus dalam menjalankan roda bisnis sebab ada kebebasan dalam menjalankan.

Abstract

Research to explore consumer perspective toward tea product requirements has been being emphasized around the globe, as well as the advancing variety of consumer demand and market competitiveness. Particularly in Indonesia, broader market needs and government relevant policies toward environmental consideration made these issues also need to be significantly addressed. This study aimed to analyze tea in consumption patterns Indonesia to support diversified sustainable products. The research design was conducted using survey method. A questionnaire was developed using structured interviews, with the number of respondents as many as 188 people. This survey was accommodating general type of tea such as green tea, white tea, black tea, etc. The result showed that respondents’ preferences toward tea belong to tea bags the most, with percentage 57.45%, powdered tea 28.19% and ready to drink tea 14.36%. Respondents age of 31-40 years old most widely consumed tea everyday (1.90 cup.day-1). As many as 78.19% of respondents were chose to consumed plain tea, followed by milk added tea 12.23% and creamer added tea 9.57%.   Further analysis using the Likelihood Ratio Test showed that age, gender and occupation factors were not a significant factor in the variety of tea types. To support the sustainable tea industry consumer behavior is also very important to be studied because consumers usually ask for high production standards but with a cheap cost.Keywords: consumption pattern, preference, product diversification, sustainable industry, teaABSTRAKPenelitian mengenai eksplorasi perspektif konsumen terhadap persyaratan produk teh telah menjadi perhatian dunia, seiring dengan meningkatnya permintaan konsumen dan daya saing pasar. Khususnya di Indonesia, kebutuhan pasar yang lebih luas dan kebijakan pemerintah yang relevan terhadap pertimbangan lingkungan membuat masalah ini juga perlu ditangani secara signifikan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pola konsumsi teh di Indonesia untuk mendukung diversifikasi produk yang berkelanjutan. Desain penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei. Kuesioner dikembangkan menggunakan wawancara terstruktur, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 188 orang. Survei ini mengakomodasi teh secara umum, seperti teh hijau, teh putih, teh hitam, dan lain-lain . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan preferensi responden terhadap teh yang paling dominan adalah jenis teh celup (57,45%), teh serbuk (28,19%) dan teh siap minum (14,36%). Responden dengan usia 31-40 tahun paling banyak menkonsumsi teh setiap hari (1,90 gelas.hari-1). Sebanyak 78,19% responden memilih konsumsi teh tawar setiap hari, diikuti oleh teh dengan susu 12,23% dan teh dengan krimer 9,57%. Hasil analisis lebih lanjut menggunakan Likelihood Ratio Test, didapatkan bahwa antara variabel usia, jenis kelamin dan pekerjaan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam pemilihan jenis teh.Kata kunci: diversifikasi produk, industri berkelanjutan, pola konsumsi, preferensi, teh

Abstract

Renewability Indicator (RI) and Cumulative Degree of Perfection (CDP) were used to observe sustainability of Gamboeng Tea. The assessment then compared with black tea process in Black Sea Region in Turkey from the previous study. Calculation of exergy for Gamboeng fresh tea leaf had already described in Part.1. Since the main process for both production was drying, then tropical humid climate in Gamboeng is the main challenge to increase efficiency, and thus, renewability. This second part described the significant improvement of renewability had applied in Gamboeng by using wood pellet in rotary pannier. Further recommended improvement were by installing better humidity detector and connected to the process control so the process can adapt the ambient change which the relative humidity can be varied from 65% and up to 92%.

Abstract

Empoasca (Empoasca flavescens) is a major pest of tea plant in almost all elevations and can lead of lost production more than 40%.  Chemical insecticide is still use to control this pest. In a long term, this  could be increase the cost as well as environmental damage. To support an environmentally sound control method, an experiment has been conducted by using active ingredient of surawung langit leaf extract and using of mass controlling tool. The experiment was carried out at a productive tea plant of two years prunning, clone GMB-7, block B4, Pasir Sarongge Experimental Garden, Cianjur.   The experiment was arra­nged in a factorial randomized block design with eight treatments, and replicated three times. The aim the experiment was to evaluate the effectiveness of botanical insect glue surawing langit (salvinia hyspanica) and mass controlling application technique on empoasca in tea plant. Result showed that botanical insect glue surawing langit at 10 and 20% applied using mass controlling tool with two blowers were effective in catching of Empoasca as swell as its attack intensity and shoot production.

Abstract

Biomass waste potential from tea pruning was high, however the utilization of the waste still low. Forming pellet from the waste was one of means for utilizing it to have value-added. Pelletization is a process of compressing the material to increase density value, calorific value, and to uniform the particle size. The method in tea pruning waste pelletization used because the waste is consists of dry twigs and leaves so it was easier in reducing the particle size as pellet raw material. This research purpose was to identify the wood pellet characteristics of various particle size from tea pruning waste, consisted of water content, ash content, and wood pellet density against calorific value produce. The material used in this research was tea pruning waste available all years in the experimental plantation of Reserach Institute for Tea and Cinchona Gambung that has been dried for three days. Pelletization process starts with reducing the tea pruning waste particle using Chopper machine to acquire dust particles. Afterward, those dust was separated into three treatments, which are, passed sieve number 7 mesh, 14 mesh, and 18 mesh. Calorific value produced from the wood pellet was the main factor from all pelletization process, the result show that the dust passed sieve number 18, which is the smallest particle size, has the highest calorific y value produced in the amount of 4.431 cal/g
