Abstract

The crust is a hard pile of inorganic material especially on the heat transfersurface caused by deposition of mineral particles in water. Know the reaction rate constant and activation energy of CaCO3-CaSO4 scale formation with Arrhenius equation. The higher the temperature makes the crust more and more formed. At a temperature of 30 0C produces a crustal mass of 38.1 mg while at 40 0C the resulting crust mass is 58.5 mg. The higher the temperature makes the value of the reaction speed constant rising. At 30 0C the resulting reaction rate constant is 1,195 kJ.mg-1.C-1. While at a temperature of 40 0C yields a reaction rate constant of 3.737 kJ.mg-1.C-1. The activation energy in the CaCO3 crust formation reaction is 123.23 kJ. From SEM results between no additions and with the addition of cubical morphological forms with rombohedral and monoclinic crystal structures.Keywords: Crust, CaCO3, CsSO4, SEM

Abstract

The study of lake fishes community in North Sulawesi and Gorontalo provinces was done during July and August 2001. The lakes of study were Tondano (St.1), Moat (St.2), Tondok (St.3) and Limboto (St.4) under observation methods to determine the  fishes diversity, abundance, local distribution, status and economy values. There were  17 different species from 12 families screened during this study, the Cyprinidae was the dominant one  and consist of three  species. Overall  the variation of  fishes consist of eight  introducable species and nine native species. The most abundance species was Ophieleotris aporos  and the most wide distributed was Cyprinus carpio, mostly species have  economic values. Comparing to three other lakes, the Limboto has the  most various species of  fishes.

Abstract

Subak is organization with aim to to arrange irrigating as well as possible. There is three target which wish to be reached is prosperity of economics of the member, pacification of mind and also management of going concern water and with vision of environment. Target of this research is to determine factor of SWOT of execution of subak as one of the rural irrigating organization which have good enough pattern as one of [the] organizational alternative of P3A in in perpective isn't it. Strength of subak determined by tying bounce very strong for official member and religion public spirited member. Activity of agribisnis is good enough opportunity, if subak can exploit the opportunity. Weakness of organization of subak is activity of processing of marketing and result so that opportunity of effort the agribisnis more exploit by entrepreneur of more private sector of professional.

Abstract

Study on the population of bony tongue/kaloso fish (Scleropages jardinii) of Papua was conducted in April 1998, located in Rawa Pomo, Kecamatan (District) of Citak Mitak, Kabupaten (Regency) Merauke, Papua.The aims were to know density,fecundity, 2 population growth and related aspects.The method used was catch per unit efforts, in 3 stations, within the area of 50.000 m width; sampling was done in each 30 minutes and fecundity was counted by eye (visual).The results showed that abundance index was 1.862 2 2ind./m ,population density 0.0043/m ,population growth 0.017 ind/m each year and fecundity range was 87-161 eggs. The most th abundance in 8 size ranged from 45.81 to 48.54 mm SL;first maturation attained at + 30 cm. We noted the fishes biodiversity in the location i.e. 21 species belongs to 18 genera and 17 families.

Abstract

A study on peat mining impact on fish diversity was conducted at Perawang, Bengkalis Regency,Province of Riau between 1996 and 1997.The purpose of study is to discover the diversity and potential of fishes in relation with water quality due to peat mining activities.The results recorded 17 species belonging to 14 genus and 10 families in mining areas, while in the protected areas (with 3 Watersheds) recorded 4 species in Bukit Batu, 21 species in Siak Kecil and 17 species in Kampar.Cyprinidae is dominant family in mining areas, while Belontiidae in protected areas.The water quality ranges are DO between 0.49 and 4.60 ppm, CO2 between 2.31 and 26.36 ppm, pH between 3.80 and 4.80 and turbidity 1.40 and 4.20. The potential offish found are mainly consumption and ornamental fish.

Abstract

Study on bio-ecological aspect of bony tongue (Scleropages jardinii) was done in Merauke, Papua Province on May 1997.The aims of this study are to know the aspects of reproduction, behavior, habitat, and conservation. The results recorded fecundity between 87 -161 eggs, fertility 45-84. This fish is a predator and carnivorous. Water quality is suitable for fish life as well as their reproduction. Conservation action is urgently important.

Abstract

Uji ketangguhan material baja ASTM A36 hasil pengelasan FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding) dengan menggunakan uji impak. Studi ini menggunakan material baja karbon rendah yang mengandung C=0,15%, Mn=0,94%, P=0,13%, S=0,04%, Si=0,21%. Pengujian dilakukan karena suatu bahan logam yang dalam keadaan biasa bersifat ulet dapat menjadi getas akibat tumbukan tiba-tiba pada suatu kondisi atau temperatur. Studi dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hasil dari pengujian impak yaitu harga impak (Joule), dari setiap pengujian uji impak pada suhu yang ditentukan yaitu+50C suhu ruang pada masing-masing spesimen. Pengujian impak dilakukan menggunakan standar ASTM E23 (American Standard Testing & Material Section E No 23) dengan metode charpyimpacttest. Analisa dan pengujian impak yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan nilai dari hal yang diperoleh dari pengujian impak.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by a change of Bele Kampung tradition in village Bokor Kecamatan Rangsang Barat Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti. The formulations of the problem are (1) What aspects have changed Bele Kampung Tradition in the village of Bokor in the West Rangsang Sub-District of Meranti Islands Regency (2) What factors influence the change Bele Kampung tradition in the village of Bokor in the Rangsang Barat Sub-District in the Meranti Islands Regency. Research Objectives (1) To find out what aspects have changed Bele Kampung tradition in the village of Bokor in the West Rangsang Sub-District of the Meranti Islands Regency (2) To find out what factors influence the change Bele Kampung tradition in the village of Bokor in the Rangsang Barat Sub-District in the Meranti Islands Regency. This research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study are, observation, interview, and, documentation. There were 10 informants in this study, the determination of the informants was done by using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that there are aspects that have changed in the Bele Kampung tradition. In this study the factors that influence change are the dominant discovery (new discovery) besides that there is also the invention factor (application of new discoveries) but not so dominant.Key Words: Change, Bele Kampung Tradition

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated to explain to the public about the tradition of kompang in the custom of marriage in the modernization era in Kampung Teluk Mesjid. The formulation of the problem of this research is “How is the kompang malay tradition in marriage tradition in the era of modernization in Kampung Teluk Mesjid Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency”. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the kompang malay tradition in the modernization era in Kampung Teluk Mesjid Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. There were 6 informants in study, namely Community Leader (1 person), Culturalists (1 person), LAM Chair (1 person), Kompang group leader (1 person), and kompang players (2 people). Data analysis techniques in this study used qualitative methods. The results in this study prove that in the tradition of kompang as a whole still uses or applies kompang culture, it’s just that the kompang tradition has changed with the modernization and advancement of the mindset of the people. The Malay community in Kampung Teluk Mesjid still preserves culture and in playing the kompang performance they still follow the methods of their predecessors, especially in malay traditional ceremonies.Key Words: The Tradition Kompang, Marriage Custom the Modernization Era

Abstract

Abstrack : This study aims to determine how people's perceptions of Kuruang Basiba clothes in Nagari Muaro Paneh, Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The informants who were examined using a purposive sampling technique were the head of the bundo Kanduang Nagari Muaro Paneh and some of its members, Niniak Mamak, and the Nagari Muaro Paneh community. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. With primary and secondary data sources. Based on the results of the research carried out, it can be concluded that people's perceptions of the Kuruang Basiba clothing began to develop in a better direction because the Kuruang Basiba clothes are the typical clothes of the area that became the identity of women in Minangkabau. Niniak Mamak along with Bundo Kanduang began to promote Nagari's regulations regarding dress codes, especially at traditional events.Key Words : Kuruang Basiba Clothes
