Abstract

Youth training assumes a critical part in cultivating youngsters' creativity. This study evaluates the impact of art classes on enhancing creative abilities in children at Calistung Nurul Islam. The approach involved conducting art sessions, including mosaic art and creating piggy banks from plastic bottles, for children aged 4-6 years. The study found that these art classes significantly boosted children's creativity, as evidenced by their enthusiasm and imaginative exploration. Observations from classes I and II indicated that art activities led to noticeable improvements in creativity, as reflected in pre- and post-class assessments. The research concluded that art classes effectively enhance early childhood creativity, with significant gains observed in children following activities like mosaic art and plastic bottle piggy banks with a percentage of 26.02%, and after the art class in class I experienced a very large increase of 50.36%. In class II, the ability of children's creativity through mosaic art classes and making piggy banks from plastic bottles, experienced an increase and a very good increase in the percentage of 82.00%. Art classes are also effective for stimulating children's motor skills and are useful for increasing children's creativity.

Abstract

With a high risk of sudden cardiac mortality, arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is a rare inherited cardiomyopathy characterized by right ventricular dysfunction and ventricular arrhythmias (VA). In this case study, a 35-year-old presented with palpitations and revealed epsilon waves on the right precordial electrocardiogram (ECG) leads which led to the suspicion of ARVC. A 24-hour Holter monitoring revealed frequent ventricular extrasystoles (>500 per 24 hours), a CMRI revealed RV dyskinesia and transmural LGE in the apical RV, and an electrophysiologic study detected spontaneous polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (VT) despite the presence of induction ventricle fibrillation (VF). These results validated the diagnosis of ARVC and indicated that an implantable cardioverter defibrillator was necessary treatment. The ability to identify potential ARVC’s ECG abnormalities, the timing to pursue further studies, and determining necessary treatment execution are critical. The evaluation of cardiac, electrophysiological, and clinical imaging parameters is essential for the risk stratification, diagnosis, and management of patients with ARVC.

Abstract

Kambing Senduro merupakan salah satu jenis kambing perah atau kambing penghasil susu yang berasal dari Indonesia. Kambing ini banyak diminati untuk diternakkan. Pengamatan terkait kambing lokal perlu diperdalam agar menjadi informasi tambahan yang bermanfaat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis litter size dan bobot lahir turunan induk Senduro yang masih terbatas informasinya pada kambing perah di Pusaka Dairy Farm. Penelitian dilakukan di Pusaka Dairy Farm, Kabupaten Sumedang, pada bulan Maret 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan memanfaatkan data beranak sekelahiran induk Senduro di Pusaka Dairy Farm, yang kemudian diolah secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa induk senduro diketahui bersifat prolifik dengan litter size sebesar 1,8 ekor. Rataan bobot lahir keturunan induk Senduro diketahui semakin mengecil seiring dengan meningkatnya tipe kelahiran. Penggunaan pejantan Alpine dengan induk Senduro memberikan peningkatan bobot lahir sedangkan penggunaan pejantan Saanen dengan induk Senduro memberikan peningkatan litter size. Penambahan jumlah data serta tambahan data seperti paritas akan membantu memberikan pengidentifikasian data yang lebih baik.   Kata kunci: Bobot Lahir, Litter Size, Kambing Perah Lokal, Kambing Senduro

Abstract

Community service activities carried out by the PTMA Muhammadiyah University Kuningan KKN-KI team present knowledge sharing through programs for the community in the Sanggar Bimbingan (SB) Hulu Langat, Selangor, Malaysia, especially for teachers and students. The aim of this service activity is to carry out a program to socialize local Indonesian wisdom through Pencak Silat Tapak Suci training based on the analysis results and objectives of KKN students. This community service activity method uses the focus group discussion (FGD) method both internally as a community service team and with residents of Sanggar Guidance Hulu Langat. The results of the activities of this program are Pencak Silat Tapak Suci training which includes stance training and basic moves.

Abstract

As parents must have the main source of education for their children, because parents have an essential role in character building children. Prevention of bullying is the most important issue in ensuring the atmosphere is in a harmonious and positive environment for all individuals, especially in educational environments such as guidance studios. This community service activity was carried out at SB Muhammadiyah Kampung Bharu Kuala Lumpur Malaysia by conducting sharing about the importance of preventing bullying in the community. The method of community service uses the socialization method.. The implementation of character building socialization as an effort to prevent bullying lasted for one day, precisely at the Kampung Bharu Guidance Studio, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, attended by 30 participants and managers of the Kampung Bharu studio. The importance of character building in children as an effort to prevent bullying at the Kampung Bharu Guidance Studio, Kuala Lumpur, is very important because as informal education must have a role and strategy of course in forming the character it has, so that it can be an effective defense process against Bullying behavior. It is hoped that this character building can be an initial step in overcoming potential bullying cases among students.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation is a nation that is very rich in differences and equality as stated in the motto "Bhineka Tunggal Ika". One of the diversities is the regional language. Regional languages ​​need to be preserved so that their completeness is maintained like Sundanese. Sundanese is a regional language of West Java which is a characteristic of the Indonesian people who live in it. The purpose of implementing this regional language learning is intended to introduce one of the many regional languages ​​in the archipelago and provide an interesting and meaningful language learning experience. The benefits of learning Sundanese in SB Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia are able to provide broader knowledge and language skills for students. In this study, the researcher provided an introduction to the Sundanese regional language by using the song method, namely through the song "Manuk Dadali" which is a typical song of the West Java region. The respondents in this study were 15 people who were students in grades V and VI. The steps in implementing this research were through the process of preparing plans, implementing activities and also conducting evaluations as reflections. The results obtained showed that the results related to knowledge about regional languages ​​in grades V and VI of SB Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia were still very minimal and low. After the learning process shows high motivation and interest from students to learn regional languages. This is shown by their enthusiasm when Sundanese language learning takes place, their enthusiasm is extraordinary.

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melakukan pendampingan terhadap minat literasi masyarakat Desa Rambah Samo Barat melalui Taman Baca Masyarakat (TBM) Lentera Pustaka. Literasi masyarakat bukan hanya bentuk dari kegiatan baca tulis saja tetapi merupakan kemampuan lima literasi dasar lainnya, yaitu literasi berhitung, literasi sains, literasi keuangan, literasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, serta literasi budaya dan kewarganegaraan. Pendampingan literasi masyarakat melalui Taman Baca Masyarakat (TBM) merupakan sebuah upaya yang dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan minat literasi agar masyarakat yang berada di lingkungan TBM dapat lebih bijak dalam memanfaatkan informasi yang diterima serta mandiri dalam memilah-milih data dan informasi yang bermanfaat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan pendampingan ini adalah sebanyak 35 orang masyarakat, dan 5 orang pengurus TBM Lentera Pustaka. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan masih lemahnya literasi masyarakat Desa Rambah Samo Barat antara lain: (1) masih banyak masyarakat yang belum paham hingga tertipu oleh pihak-pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab dari media sosial, (2) masih ada masyarakat yang buta huruf, (3) rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Email phishing is a fraudulent technique used by cybercriminals to obtain sensitive information through emails that appear legitimate but have malicious purposes. Information security has become a crucial aspect in the increasingly developing digital world, especially along with the increasing threat of cybercrime, such as email phishing. In this context, implementing Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is one solution to increase awareness and mitigate risks against phishing attacks. SSL, which is a security protocol for data encryption, can help protect digital communications by authenticating servers and encrypting data sent, thereby reducing the potential for misuse of personal data sent via email. This research aims to examine the role of SSL in providing protection against email phishing and increasing user awareness regarding the importance of information security in the use of digital technology. Through an information security interpretation approach, this study suggests that SSL can serve as an effective barrier in reducing the risk of phishing attacks and increasing the level of user trust in the emails received. Therefore, it is important for individuals or organizations to understand and apply information security principles such as the use of SSL to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of data exchanged online.

Abstract

Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) is an infectious disease that can affect dairy cows, leading to mortality and a decrease in milk production. This study aims to examine the production and quality of milk from dairy cows at Service Cooperative Points (SCP) implementing the Milk Collection Point (MCP) system in the Bandung Selatan Livestock Cooperative, Pangalengan, during the FMD pandemic. The research employed a census method analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed that the highest decrease in milk production occurred in July, with 7.2% at SCP Mekar Mulya and 47.58% at SCP Los Cimaung. This reduction was attributed to cow mortality, forced slaughter, and the impact of lactating cows contracting FMD. Subsequently, milk production increased in the following months, with the highest increase during the FMD pandemic recorded at 13.16% at SCP Mekar Mulya and 27.31% at SCP Los Cimaung. By August, milk production showed a consistent increase and stabilized through September. Additionally, milk quality during the FMD pandemic continued to meet the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). However, the resazurin grade dropped by one level compared to the pre-pandemic period. It can be concluded that the FMD outbreak caused a significant decrease in dairy cow milk production in SCP that implemented MCP at KPBS Pangalengan but did not reduce milk quality. There was an increase in fat, which was suspected to be due to a decrease in the amount of production and a decrease in resazurin grade by one level compared to before the pandemic.

Abstract

Research on "The Impact of Foot and Mouth Disease on Dairy Farming Businesses in Koperasi Produksi Susu (KPS) Bogor Working Area" has been carried out in the KPS Bogor Dairy Cattle Farming Business Area (KUNAK), Cibungbulang District, Bogor Regency in January 2024. The aim of the research is to determine changes in population, milk production and quality of dairy cows, as well as farmer acceptance due to the impact of FMD in KUNAK as the Bogor KPS working area. The method used is a survey method using a qualitative descriptive and quantitative approach with a sample of 46 breeders used in the research. The results of this research indicate that there were significant changes in population numbers, milk production, and farmer acceptance before and during the existence of PMK at KUNAK KPS Bogor. The results of this study also showed that there were no significant changes in the quality of fat and protein levels before and during FMD.
