Abstract

Remedial teaching merupakan keharusan Setiap siswa yang belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketentusan Minimal (KKM). Sementara itu setiap siswa umumnya memiliki kelemahan yang berbeda-beda pada materi yang belum tuntas. Guru memiliki keterbasatan ruang dan waktu dalam pelaksanakan kegiatan remedial teaching bagi peserta didik dengan materi yang berbeda-beda. Untuk itu harus memanfaatkan media pembelajaran. Namun kemampuan guru-guru biologi  di SMA  dalam membuat media video turorial belum optimal dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas khsusnya dalam melaksanakan kegiatan remedial teaching. Hal tersebut menjadi persoalan yang harus diselesaikan oleh guru, sekolah dan juga pemerintah. Perguruan Tinggi pencetak tenaga pendidik juga harus ikut memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan ini melalui kegiatan pelatihan pengembangan media video tutorial dan implementasinya dalam remedial teaching bagi guru-guru biologi  SMA  di Kota Bandar Lampung untuk meningkkatkan mutu dan hasil belajar siswa. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung untuk membuat produk akhir berupa media video tutorial. Setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini guru-guru mengungkapkan bahwa pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru-guru dalam membuat media video tutorial dan implementasinya dalam pembelajaran remedial teaching. Semua guru mampu membuat dan menyelesaikan produk berupa media video tutorial dengan baik.

Abstract

Science subjects in junior high school contain concepts from three different disciplines, namely Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, so that these subjects are taught by three different teachers. Even though the concept of science should not be compartmentalized, but must be able to complement one another. Likewise with the skills that must be taught in accordance with the demands of Basic Competence in the curriculum. The purpose of this service activity is to increase teacher professionalism, especially in teaching aspects, especially science subjects. The target for the training is science teachers at junior high schools in Pesawaran district. There are several training methods used, namely: need assessment, information discussion, assignment method, workshops on making integrated science lesson plans, presentations, discussions and information exploration, peer teaching at the MGMP. Improvement data was measured using a questionnaire instrument, essay test questions, the Teacher Performance Analysis test instrument (APKG) given before and after treatment, and peer teaching observation sheets (with MGMP). Data on increasing professionalism will be analyzed descriptively and using the t-test. The conclusions of the implementation of the integrated science learning model implementation training are: 1) The integrated science learning model implementation training is capable of increasing teacher professionalism in the aspects of knowledge, aspects of personality and social aspects. And the highest increase occurred in the social and personality aspects. 2) Increasing the ability to make an integrated RPP IPA less significant.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 menuntut siswa untuk memiliki keterampilan 4C, sejalan dengan itu pemerintah melalui kemendikbudristek memberikan arahan kepada sekolah untuk mulai menerapkan kurikulum merdeka belajar. Perubahan cepat dalam dunia pendidikan perlu diikuti oleh guru, guru harus selalu mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya. Pelatihan e-asesmen berbasis 4C sebagai implementasi kurikulum merdeka belajar memberikan solusi untuk membantu guru dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan terkait instrumen e-asesmen berbasis 4C. Metode yang digunakan untuk pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah model Pengembangan Profesional Berkelanjutan (PPB), dengan metode pelaksanaan pemberian materi, diskusi dan umpan balik, praktik kelompok, dan kegiatan mandiri yang disertai pendampingan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan, diperoleh simpulan bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta terkait e-asesmen, instrumen asesmen 4C dan merdeka belajar mengalami peningkatan dengan skor n-gain 0,62 kategori sedang, dan n-gain tertinggi dengan skor 0,93 dengan kategori tinggi. Sehingga dimungkinkan peserta dapat menyusun e-asesmen untuk mengukur kemampuan 4C dalam pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka belajar di sekolah masing-masing.

Abstract

Practicums or experiments in laboratories are one of the main characteristics of Natural Sciences (IPA) learning in junior high schools, as a process of gaining knowledge and skills that students should experience. However, practical activities in schools often cannot be carried out, due to unavailability of equipment. One of the materials that basically requires students to do practical work is the material on separating mixtures. The aim of this activity is: to increase the knowledge and creativity of science teachers in creating/modifying practical tools. The methods used are lectures, discussions and practice testing tools. The target of this activity is 30 science teachers in junior high schools who are members of the Metro City Science Subject Teachers' Conference. The data collection technique in this activity uses a pretest and is then analyzed by calculating N-Gain. The results of the activities that have been carried out show an increase in teachers' understanding of mixture separation material, as indicated by the average n-gain between pretest and posttest of 0.73; increasing teacher insight regarding making practical tools, increasing teacher skills in designing practical tools. In addition, the average teacher satisfaction with the training activities carried out was 93% (very good category). Based on these results, it can be concluded that training activities are effective in increasing teachers' understanding and creativity in modifying practical tools.Keywords: practical tools; separation of mixtures; teacher training AbstrakPraktikum atau percobaan di laboratorium merupakan salah satu karakteristik utama pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di SMP, sebagai suatu proses untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan, dan keterampilan yang seyogyanya dialami oleh siswa. Akan tetapi, kegiatan praktikum di sekolah sering kali tidak dapat dilakukan, karena tidak tersedianya alat. Salah satu materi yang dasarnya mengharuskan siswa melakukan praktikum adalah materi pemisahan campuran. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah: meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kreativitas guru IPA dalam membuat/memodifikasi alat praktikum. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik uji coba alat. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru IPA yang berjumlah 30 orang di SMP yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran IPA Kota Metro. Teknik pengambilan data dalam kegiatan ini menggunakan pretest dan yang kemudian di analisis dengan menghitung N-Gain. Hasil dari kegiatan yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang materi pemisahan campuran, yang ditunjukkan dengan n-gain rata-rata antara pretest dan postest sebesar 0,73; meningkatnya wawasan guru terkait pembuatan alat praktikum, meningkatnya keterampilan guru dalam mendesain alat praktikum. Di samping itu, diperoleh rata-rata kepuasan guru terhadap kegiatan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan sebesar 93% (kategori sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kreativitas guru dalam memodifikasi alat praktikum.Kata Kunci: alat praktikum; pelatihan guru; pemisahan campuran

Abstract

New student admission activities are routine activities carried out by schools in every new school year. Elementary School 3 Rukti Basuki was established in 1978, and school conditions have not changed yearly, especially in the new student admission section. Students who want to register will be asked to come to school and then fill out a form, which will take more time and energy. This system is designed to process new student admissions, increase the efficiency of school administration, and provide convenience for prospective students and parents in accessing information without having to come. This system also allows prospective students and parents to complete application forms online and monitor and receive real-time notifications. This study is that the use of website-based technology in the new student admissions process at school can be an effective solution to reduce the administrative burden and improve the experience of prospective students and parents

Abstract

UPTD Elementary School 3 Rukti Basuki was established in 1978, and school conditions have not changed from year to year, especially in the library section. With the research at Elementary School 3 Rukti Basuki, this research aims to create a desktop-based library information system application. This application seeks to maximize the function of information technology available in the library, facilitate data management into information in the form of reports, and reduce the use of paper (books), which are still used to record circulation in the library. Information technology in this library is essential because of the increased number of people working there. Implementing good information technology in the library will make information management easy and fast.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in students' critical thinking skills (CTS) and sustainability awareness in SDGs issue-oriented climate change material using a problem-based learning (PBL) model. This type of research is quantitative research, the research design is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design technique. The research sample consisted of two classes selected using purposive sampling technique. Research data was obtained by providing a pretest and posttest to determine the increase in CTS and an observation sheet to determine students' sustainability awareness data. The pretest-posttest scores in the experimental class using the PBL model obtained an average N-gain score of 0.52, including the medium category. The effect size test also obtained a value of 2.88 with the "large" criterion. The results of the sustainability awareness questionnaire data obtained an average percentage of 81.42% with a frequency of "often or always done". Based on these data, it can be concluded that the PBL model has a significant effect on improving CTS and influences sustainability awareness in climate change material that is oriented to SDGs issues. The use of PBL models can be an effective strategy in improving CTS and instilling sustainability awareness

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing a guided inquiry model with assistance PhET simulation as virtual laboratory towards improving students' scientific literacy skills. This quasi-experimental study used a Pretest Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group design. The population consisted of 5 classes with a total of 134 students, while the sample was taken from two classes totaling 51 students, selected using the Purposive Sampling technique. The experimental class was given treatment using a guided inquiry model assisted by Virtual Laboratory PhET Simulation, while the control class used a guided inquiry model. Data on students' scientific literacy skills were obtained from pretest and posttest scores. To determine the increase in scientific literacy, an N-gain test was conducted. The results of the N-gain test showed an average increase in the experimental class's scientific literacy skills of 0.53 (moderate category) and the control class of 0.28 (low category). Furthermore, an Independent Sample T-Test was conducted to determine the effect of variable X on variable Y, obtained Sig.0.00. Based on the Independent Sample T-Test, it is known that there is an effect of implementing a guided inquiry model assisted by Virtual Laboratory PhET Simulation on improving scientific literacy skills. The effect size test was also conducted and obtained a value of 1.78 with an interpretation of the effectiveness level in the large category. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the guided inquiry model assisted by the Virtual Laboratory PhET Simulation has a significant effect on improving students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Implementasi teknologi dalam bidang pendidikan terus mengalami perkembangan, sehingga menuntut para tenaga pendidik untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan metode pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga pendidik dalam merancang dan mengembangkan video tutorial pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi Camtasia. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pelatihan ini terdiri dari Planning, Organizing, Actualizing, Controlling dan Evaluating. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi lembar observasi serta angket, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil analisis angket menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam menghasilkan video pembelajaran yang menarik, interaktif, dan efektif. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, diharapkan tenaga pendidik dapat lebih optimal dalam memanfaatkan media digital sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang inovatif dan adaptif.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the Edmodo-assisted Discovery Learning model affects students' scientific literacy skills. This study is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group. The experimental class is taught using the Edmodo-assisted discovery learning methodology. Data were collected using a pretest and a posttest to measure the increase in students' scientific literacy skills. The experimental class received an N-Gain of 0.51, while the control class received an N-Gain of 0.29. The significance of the Independent Sample t-test on student N-Gain scores is 0.000, which is lower than 0.005, indicating that the Edmodo-assisted discovery learning model has a substantial effect on students' scientific literacy skills. The results of the questionnaire analysis also revealed that students were enthusiastic about Edmodo-assisted discovery learning. As a result, the Edmodo-assisted discovery learning model considerably impacts students' scientific literacy skills.ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbantu Edmodo terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest non equivalent control group design. Model discovery learning berbantu Edmodo diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pretest dan posttest untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kelas eksperimen mendapatkan N-Gain sebesar 0,51 sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan N-Gain sebesar 0,29. Uji Independen Sample t-test terhadap skor N-Gain siswa menunjukkan signifikansi 0.000 < 0,005 yang berarti model discovery learning berbantu Edmodo berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik. Hasil analisis angket juga menunjukan respon yang baik dari siswa terhadap pembelajaran discovery learning berbantu edmodo. Dengan demikan dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning berbantu Edmodo berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik.
