Abstract

The Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of Higher Education, it has been a mandate the implementation of learning that aims to build and create collaborative and participatory classes. The purpose of this study was aims to analysis the linearity between the implementation of PjBL-based learning using Unila’s Moodle v-class with students' intrinsic factors in learning Animal Structure during online learning in realizing collaborative and participatory classes. This research is an experimental-research with posttest-only control design with the population in this study are students of biology education at the University of Lampung, amounting to 371 people. The sample was obtained using purposive sampling technique, as much as 124 students who had taken the Animal Structure course. The results showed that there was a significant difference (p<0.05) in student learning outcomes in the control and experimental classes. Nevertheless, there was no influence of intrinsic factors on PjBL results in both classes (p<0.05), all students had high intrinsic factors to take part in online learning is high, however the optimizing learning outcomes is not linear.

Abstract

The objectives of this community service activity are: 1) increasing teacher knowledge regarding open-source biology applications based on Android, which can be used as learning media in the new normal era; and 2) improving teacher skills in using open-source biology applications based on Android as learning media in the new normal era. This community service activity targets science teachers who are members of the Science MGMP of South Lampung Regency. Community service activities were carried out at SMP Negeri 3 Natar, South Lampung. This service activity adopts a training model with methods of providing material, discussion and feedback, group practice, and independent activities accompanied by mentoring. This service activity will be evaluated for the implementation and sustainability of the program using the CIPP evaluation model. Service activities were declared successful if the average ability of junior high school science teachers increased by ≥ 80%. Based on the results of the activities, it was concluded that these training activities effectively increased teachers' abilities in making learning media based on Android applications. This is based on increasing teachers' understanding of the design of android application-based learning media for junior high school science teachers in the South Lampung Regency. Based on the results of the initial evaluation, it was found that the teachers' initial understanding was low. At the end of the training, the teacher's understanding and ability to utilize and create teacher learning media were higher than before attending the training. As many as 80% of teachers can make learning media based on Android applications. An improved understanding of teachers designing learning media based on Android applications is classified as good. ABSTRAKTujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah: 1) meningkatkan pengetahuan guru terkait aplikasi open-source biologi berbasis android yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di era new normal; dan 2) meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi open-source biologi berbasis android sebagai media pembelajaran di era new normal. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru IPA yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPA Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Natar Lampung Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini mengadopsi model pelatihan dengan metode pemberian materi, diskusi dan umpan balik, praktik berkelompok, dan kegiatan mandiri disertai pendampingan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini akan dievaluasi pelaksanaan dan keberlanjutan program menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP. Kegiatan pengabdian dinyatakan berhasil apabila rerata kemampuan guru-guru IPA SMP mengalami peningkatan sebesar ≥ 80% .Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, diperoleh simpulan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android. Hal ini didasarkan pada peningkatan pemahaman guru- guru tentang perancangan pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android bagi guru-guru IPA SMP di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi awal diketahui bahwa pemahaman awal guru-guru tergolong rendah. Pada akhir pelatihan, pemahaman dan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan dan membuat media pembelajaran guru-guru lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan sebelum mengikuti pelatihan. Sebanyak 80% guru mampu membuat media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android. Abstract

The development of this thinking ability through education, with education students can make the best use of the information they have. The observation results show that most of the teachers have not used HOTS-based assessments. This is very concerning because students are only fed by learning with the old pattern, namely students are only learning objects with the lecture method. The aim of the training is to increase teachers' understanding of assessment, increase teachers' understanding of the HOTS-based assessment concept and efforts to improve teachers' skills in developing in learning evaluation. Training methods Lectures and demonstrations. The success of the implementation of this training is determined based on pre-test and post-test data using a Likert scale. The results of increasing the pre-test and post-test scores in this community service activity show the criteria of "very good" which means that there is an influence of the activity on the ability of junior high school teachers in preparing HOTS-based assessments.

Abstract

Background: The low scientific literacy of students is caused by the selection of models and learning media that are less varied. This study aims to analyze the effect of the PBL model with digital comics on students’ scientific literacy on environmental pollution material. Methods: This type of research is a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design. The research sample used classes, namely class VII A and VII F, with 55 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Results: The experimental class's average N-Gain of scientific literacy ability (0.42 ± 0.171) is moderate, while the control class (0.26 ± 0.17) is low. Conclusions: The results of this study indicate that Sig. (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.0, meaning that the PBL model using digital comics model cs influences students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Jigsaw cooperative learning model in developing communication skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students. This research using the one group pretest-posttest design. The sample is the students of class X MIA 1 who were selected through purposive sampling technique. Data on oral communication skills were carried out by self-assessment, peer assessment and observation which were analyzed using a Likert scale. Meanwhile, data on cognitive learning outcomes were obtained through pretest and posttest scores, then analyzed by performing the n-gain score test. The research data shows that students have oral communication skills in the "high" category, which is as much as 77%. The highest verbal communication skills of students are found in the indicator of delivering detailed information with the "very high" category, while the lowest communication skills are found in the indicator of giving questions in the "enough" category. Then for learning outcomes, statistically student learning outcomes showed a significant difference between initial understanding (pretest) and understanding after learning (posttest) indicated by a significant N-gain value of 0.73 with high criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model is effective in developing communication skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Pengolahan Data Nilai Siswa Berbasis Website pada SD Negeri 3 Rukti Basuki merupakansuatu system yang memberikan informasi laporan keaktifan siswa secara online yang berupalaporan nilai siswa dengan berbasis website, sehingga dapat membantu ketepatan dan kualitasdalam penyampaian informasi. Di SD Negeri 3 Rukti Basuki pada pengolahan data nilai siswamasih dilakukan secara manual dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel serta didokumentasikanke pembukuan. Pengolahan data nilai siswa dengan cara manual dapat menimbulkan resikoseperti kerusakan dan hilangnya data nilai siswa. Pengolahan data nilai siswa ini dirancangandengan tujuan mengurangi resiko rusak dan hilangnya data serta mempermudah pengecekan,pencatatan, dan data nilai siswa yang terkomputerisasi, selain itu dengan berbasis website makainformasi dapat diakses kapan saja. Website ini menggunakan XAMPP sebagai web serveruntuk perancangan system dan MYSQL sebagai database. Perancangan website menu loginyang terdiri dari wali kelas, admin, dan kepala sekolah yang dapat memiliki akses tersendirisaat membuka website. Sistem ini bekerja memasukan dan menyimpan data, proses penilaiansiswa serta laporan nilai akhir siswa sehingga lebih mudah mengetahui informasi nilai siswayang akan disampaikan oleh pihak sekolah. Penelitian telah menghasilkan sebuah systempengolahan nilai yang membantu kerja dari wali kelas dan dapat mempermudah penggunauntuk melakukan proses pengolahan nilai.

Abstract

Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (TNBBS) since 2004 has been named a Sumatran rainforest heritage by UNICEF. Several problems related to conservation efforts in TNBBS include decreasing area size, wood theft, and catching protected fauna. This condition has caused the TNBBS area to currently be in endangered (threatened) status. As an institution that plays a role in producing the nation's generation, schools have an important role in promoting environmental conservation efforts in learning activities. One form of business that can be done is to create learning materials that are effective, efficient, and contain plant biological resources in TNBBS. This research aims to produce an electronic atlas that can be used as a learning resource for students in biology subjects at the secondary education level. The research method applied was Thiagarajan's (1974) 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The results of product validation by media experts are in the very feasible category. Meanwhile, material experts and field practitioners stated that it was feasible. The effectiveness test based on students' learning capital tendencies obtained data: visual (high); auditory (moderate); and kinesthetic (low). Based on the research results, the atlas containing the plant diversity of TNBBS is suitable for use in learning in the Merdeka Belajar curriculum.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada guru IPA SMP di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan untuk menyusun instrumen asessmen non kognitif siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA SMP di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian adalah melalui ceramah, diskusi, dan proyek. Pada kegiatan ceramah pemateri meyampaikan materi tentang teknik penambangan instrumen asesmen sesuai dengan prosedur yang baku dilanjutkan dengan diskusi. Setelah diskusi, peserta pelatihan megerjakan tugas proyek berupa menyusun instrumen tes mata pelajaran, menganalisis secara kualitatif, mengujicobakannya. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, diperoleh simpulan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun instrumen asessmen diagnostik non-kognitif. Hal ini didasarkan pada peningkatan pemahaman guru-guru tentang perancangan pembuatan instrumen asessmen yang telah dilaksanakan oleh guru-guru IPA SMP di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi awal diketahui bahwa pemahaman awal guru-guru tergolong rendah. Pada akhir pelatihan, pemahaman dan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan dan membuat instrumen aseessmen yang mengukur dimensi non kognitif siswa guru-guru lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan sebelum mengikuti pelatihan. Sebanyak 80% guru mampu membuat instrumen penilaian yang mengukur dimensi non kognitif siswa. Peningkatan pemahaman guru-guru perancangan pembuatan instrumen penilaian yang mengukur dimensi non kognitif siswa tergolong baik. Kata Kunci: asesmen diagnostik; dimensi non kognitif; kurikulum merdeka AbstractThe aim of this community service is to provide training to junior high school science teachers in South Lampung Regency to develop non-cognitive assessment instruments for students in junior high school science learning in South Lampung Regency. The method of implementing service activities is through lectures, discussions and projects. In the lecture activity the speaker delivered material about mining techniques for assessment instruments in accordance with standard procedures followed by discussion. After the discussion, the training participants carried out project assignments in the form of compiling subject test instruments, analyzing them qualitatively, testing them. Based on the results of the activity, it was concluded that this training activity was effective in improving teachers' abilities in creating Android application-based learning media. This is based on increasing teachers' understanding of the design of creating diagnostic assessment instrument for non-cognitive aspects  for junior high school science teachers in South Lampung Regency. Based on the results of the initial evaluation, it is known that the teachers' initial understanding was relatively low. At the end of the training, teachers' understanding and ability to utilize and create assessment instruments that measure the non-cognitive dimensions of student teachers is higher than before attending the training. As many as 80% of teachers were able to create assessment instruments that measured students' non-cognitive dimensions. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the PBL model assisted by the Zoom Breakout Rooms application on the scientific literacy abilities of the students in Grade X SMA Qur'an Darul Fattah Bandar Lampung on environmental change material. The design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a Pretest-Postest Non-equivalent (The Non-equivalent Control Group Design). The population of this study was all students of class X SMA Qur'an Darul Fattah Bandar Lampung for the academic year 2020/2021 with a sample of 24 students selected using cluster random sampling technique, namely class X IPA A and X IPA B. The instrument used in this study is test and questionnaires. The data in this study are quantitative data obtained from the average pretest, posttest, and N-gain scores which are then analyzed statistically using an independent sample t-test at a significance level of 5% through the SPSS 26.0. The results showed the average N-gain class (55,71 ± 22,51) in the medium category and the control class (19,50 ± 16,90) in the low category. Then, the questionnaire data on student responses to Zoom Breakout Rooms and the learning implementation observation sheet were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there was an effect of the PBL model assisted by Zoom Breakout Rooms on students' scientific literacy skills on environmental change material.
