Abstract

In 2020, the massive spread of Covid-19 led to several new policies. To diminish the spread of Covid-19, the Indonesian government made a strict policy, namely a social distancing policy. The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia publishes an education policy. One of the policies is that the teaching and learning process must be done at home with online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The main of the study was to present a literature review of the psychological impact of e-learning on teachers. Researchers observed and examined sixteen articles relating to the psychological effects of e-learning on teachers. The type of study method used in this research is library research. The results showed that due to the many kinds of online learning platforms and many factors that influence online learning success, teachers experience some difficulties and challenges in conducting online learning. The problems and challenges faced by teachers have a psychological impact on teachers. Teachers experience stress, anxiety, frustration, insecurity, and depression. In conclusion, many teachers experience stress, anxiety, frustration, insecurity, and depression as a psychological impact of e-learning. Researchers hope that the results of this study can be used as an information and a reference for researchers for further research

Abstract

Speech understanding deficits are common in older adults. In addition to hearing sensitivity, changes in certain cognitive functions may affect speech recognition. One such change that may impact the ability to follow a rapidly changing speech signal is processing speed. When speakers slow the rate of their speech naturally in order to speak clearly, speech recognition is improved. The acoustic characteristics of naturally slowed speech are of interest in developing time-expansion algorithms to improve speech recognition for older listeners. In this study, we tested younger normally hearing, older normally hearing, and older hearing-impaired listeners on time-expanded speech using increased duration and increased intensity of unvoiced consonants. Although all groups performed best on unprocessed speech, performance with processed speech was better with the consonant gain feature without time expansion in the noise condition and better at the slowest time-expanded rate in the quiet condition. The effects of signal processing on speech recognition are discussed.

Abstract

The design-based research methodology explicates how design not only allowed more effective student representation and sharing of the different levels of knowledge required for abstraction to occur, but also enabled better teacher assessment and, hence, remediation also provides detailed guidance on creating interactive content (from the application of learning strategies and media to courseware development). On the basis of the emerging findings of the study a set of principles for designing web-conferencing (or other online) environments to support creative design learning is proposed. This mainly addresses trainers and instructional designers who aim to create learning projects that really match learners’ needs, was considered appropriate and suitable for the students to develop their reading comprehension. This interactive and interesting design would increase the students’ motivation to learn reading comprehension in fun environment. It is expected that they could change their habit of the learning by accessing the exercises regularly as the mediaKeywords: Weblog, Hot Potatoes Sofware, Skype Messengers, and Reading Comprehension

Metode yang digunakan merangkum dan menulis kembali sebuah bacaan yang telah dibaca sesuai dengan pemahaman yang dimiliki siswa. Analisa data: a.

Abstract

This research reviewed how research skills affect the writing results of Indonesian postgraduate students. As academics have understood it. the success of studying at the postgraduate level was closely related to the skills and abilities to research various content and contexts of the field of study. The researchers have conducted a data collection series consisting of literature searching, observation, and documentation to prove this assumption. Furthermore, data was analyzed by defining the research question, collecting answers by sharpening the correlation and comparison between the questions and answers or findings. Finally, the researchers interpret in-depth whether the findings were valid and reliable. The design used phenomenology approach. Considering the data and the analysis results, the researchers conclude that the skills and abilities to research Indonesian postgraduate students greatly influence each writing or lecture assessment's quality or outcome, including research activities, final semester assignments, and weekly assignments. Therefore, the findings have a meaningful input for postgraduate students and policymakers for studying in master and undergraduate programs in Indonesia. Abstract

Computer technology has been experiencing quite rapid development in which it, in turn, has also caused a change in the human lifestyle. Nowadays, a new trend in e-learning is known as Mobile Learning. The main research argues the need to implement online learning environments to better support the representation and sharing of factual, procedural, to build and develop m-learning that can be used as a flexible learning media and conceptual knowledge to develop students' implement capabilities and produces learning logical reasonable will be prepared based on the needs of development. The implement-based research methodology explicates how to implement not only allowed more effective student representation and sharing of the different levels of knowledge required for abstraction to occur, but also enabled better teacher assessment and, hence, remediation also provides detailed guidance on creating interactive content (from the application of learning strategies and media to courseware development). The result obtained from this research is that 95% of the user from university students enjoy in using the application of mobile learning and it is only 5% does not enjoy. At last, it can be concluded that the use of the mobile learning application can make the learning process more flexible.
