Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) terbukti memberikan kontribusi bagi perekonomian Indonesia. Permaslahan pada UMKM adalah keterbatasan modal kerja, kapasistas sumberdaya manusia yang sangat rendah dan minimnnya penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang secara umum berdampak pada prospek usaha. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan UMKM produk kripik tempe pada UMKM di desa Wonoharjo agar usaha yang dijalankan mampu bersaing di pasar dan semakin berkembang dimasa yang akan datang. Hasil dari kajian ini yaitu pengembangan produk UMKM untuk meningkatkan pemasaran melalui pengemasan produk yang menarik dan modern, pembinaan keterampilan sumber daya dan peningkatan pemasaran produk secara online.

Abstract

This research reviewed how research skills affect the writing results of Indonesian postgraduate students. As academics have understood it. the success of studying at the postgraduate level was closely related to the skills and abilities to research various content and contexts of the field of study. The researchers have conducted a data collection series consisting of literature searching, observation, and documentation to prove this assumption. Furthermore, data was analyzed by defining the research question, collecting answers by sharpening the correlation and comparison between the questions and answers or findings. Finally, the researchers interpret in-depth whether the findings were valid and reliable. The design used phenomenology approach. Considering the data and the analysis results, the researchers conclude that the skills and abilities to research Indonesian postgraduate students greatly influence each writing or lecture assessment's quality or outcome, including research activities, final semester assignments, and weekly assignments. Therefore, the findings have a meaningful input for postgraduate students and policymakers for studying in master and undergraduate programs in Indonesia. Reason: The connection between Quality Management in e-Learning Systems and instructor execution draws a legitimate concern for specialists. It has not gotten critical consideration in the examination area of instructive administration up to this point. This paper intends to precisely examine the effect of Quality Management in e-Learning Systems on teacher execution in advanced education. Assessment and standards of value on the board and strategic exercises of e-learning frameworks. Satisfaction of criteria incorporates: 1) creative collaboration of the educational experience; 2) the e-growing experience (ELE); 3) connection innovation among educators and understudies; 4) ELE learning plan. The utilization of innovation gives a valuable chance to control understudy advancement during mentally and educationally versatile learning. It awards opportunities for learning, instructive change, and the nature of the information. It adds to the arrangement of expert abilities and fortifies acquiring direction. Discoveries express that Quality Management in e-Learning Systems in scholarly rankings altogether influences speaker execution. Among every segment variable, just scholastics fundamentally influence the presentation of teachers. Research suggestions expect the award framework and execution evaluation factors to impact the connection between Quality Management in e-Learning Systems and teacher execution. The exploration discoveries trust that the Indonesian government will promptly layout a Quality Management in the e-Learning System to work with better-quality execution in Indonesian advanced education. Abstract

Writing is an academic culture that must be developed in an educational environment. Along with its development, the distribution of academic work goes beyond geographical boundaries, making it easier for teachers to explore and obtain library study materials. But this convenience is not in line with the teacher's ability to publish his scientific papers. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to identify ways to improve the literacy of scientific works in reputable publications and report the results of collaboration in increasing the number of publications. The findings show that the weakness of teacher writing is originality, writing is considered a difficult skill, the references cited are not representative and credible, as well as inconsistencies between citations in the text and reference lists, age factors, whereas the resulting scientific work, is necessary in career advancement and knowledge improvement. Based on this fact data, this PKM is aimed at working on the capacity of instructors to compose articl to publish. By strengthening through online discussions and workshops, it is expected that the capacity of instructors who follow the program will increment

Abstract

Writing is one of skills which is difficult to master. In teaching writing, a teacher must be capable of employing strategies that engage students and motivate them in the learning process. One such strategy is Project Based Learning (PjBL), which aims to make the teaching of writing easier and more interesting. This study utilized a classroom action research design and involved 31 students from VIII F of SMPN 43 Surabaya. It was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings, and followed four steps: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. After each cycle, an evaluation test was administered to assess the students' improvement in writing short messages. The research utilized test data collection, interviews with the English teacher and students, and an observation sheet as research instruments. The findings demonstrated that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) strategy effectively enhanced the students' ability to write short messages, as evidenced by an improvement in the average test scores. In the preliminary test, 7 students (22.58%) met the success criteria, while in the first cycle, 22 students (70.96%) achieved success. By the second cycle, 28 students (90.32%) met the success criteria. Factors such as the teacher's explanation in the classroom and the students' attention, participation, and interest played a significant role in improving the students' writing ability. Consequently, the Project Based Learning strategy is recommended as an alternative approach for English teachers to enhance students' writing skills. Furthermore, future researchers can use this study as a reference for conducting further research on improving writing abilities.

Abstract

The effective allocation of educational resources is crucial for enhancing the quality of education. This study explores the development and application of a decision support system (DSS) using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. Various entities are evaluated based on a set of critical criteria. Using the TOPSIS approach, entities were systematically ranked, offering a clear directive for optimal resource allocation. This study provides a significant tool for resource management, offering a transparent, objective, and data-driven process. However, DSS should complement other qualitative and contextual considerations in the decision-making process. Future research directions include the integration of temporal data, broadening the set of criteria, and the inclusion of machine learning for dynamic decision-making. Ultimately, this study underscores the value of systematic and data-driven processes in resource allocation, contributing to the improvement of the quality of education

Abstract

Guru-guru peserta Pendidikan Profesi Guru di Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya sangat membutuhkan kompetensi tambahan dalam menulis artikel ilmiah. Kompetensi menulis artikel ilmiah dibutuhkan oleh para guru untuk membantu mereka meningkatkan keprofesionalan sebagai seorang guru. Sebagai seorang guru dituntut mampu menulis artikel yang dipublikasikan di jurnal. Publikasi di jurnal ilmiah sangat membantu para guru saat mereka berkeinginan meningkatkan pangkat dan golongan saat mereka kembali ke sekolah masing-masing. Didasarkan pada keinginan membantu para guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi menulis artikel ilmiah, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan. Apabila memungkinkan rencana kegiatan kepada masyarakat akan dilaksanakan luring dan apabila tidak memungkinkan akan dilaksanakan secara daring. Pelaksanaan secara daring dilakukan mengingat guru-guru peserta PPG DalJab Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya tersebar di seluruh Wilayah Indonesia. Sedangkan untuk pelaksanaan secara luring dikhususkan peserta yang berada di wilayah Surabaya dan sekitarnya. Dengan demikian meskipun dilaksanakan secara luring atau daring tidak mengesampingkan esensi dari rencana kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini berjumlah kurang lebih seratus lima puluh guru. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah peserta antusias dalam mengikuti keseluruhan rangkaian kegiatan, yang dibuktikan dengan banyaknya pertanyaan. Hasil yang diharapkan setelah kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menulis dan memublikasikan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukannya

Abstract

Pelatihan TOEFL di Pesantren Al-Ishlah Sendangagung Lamongan adalah langkah strategis dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris siswa. Pendekatan partisipatif digunakan dengan tahap studi pendahuluan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan tantangan siswa. Materi pelatihan disusun sesuai kebutuhan dengan berbagai sumber belajar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode pembelajaran aktif berfokus pada pembelajar dan melibatkan latihan intensif untuk meningkatkan partisipasi, pemahaman, dan motivasi peserta. Metode pelatihan yang dipakai yaitu model pelatihan partisipasif. Hasil analisis angket menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan peserta yang tinggi dan peningkatan kemampuan yang signifikan. Respons positif peserta terhadap metode, materi, dan strategi pelatihan sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya. Pelatihan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif dan pembelajaran aktif efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris. Keberhasilan ini mendorong pengembangan program serupa untuk mendukung pembangunan sumber daya manusia Indonesia dalam menghadapi tantangan global. Dalam konteks ini, pelatihan TOEFL di Pesantren Al-Ishlah Sendangagung Lamongan memberikan kontribusi yang berharga.

Abstract

This research presents a Decision Support System (DSS) designed to facilitate personalized learning in higher education. Utilizing the Best Worst Method (BWM), a popular Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) technique, the study evaluated various learning strategies against set criteria based on the preferences and priorities of educators at University X. The results revealed One-on-One Tutoring as the most preferred method for personalized learning, followed by technology-enabled strategies such as Online Self-paced Courses and Adaptive Learning Software. These findings provide critical insights into the relative importance of different learning strategies, contributing to the development of a DSS capable of recommending the most suitable approaches for personalized learning. The implementation of such a system has been proposed as a means to augment decision-making processes within educational environments and potentially yield positive impacts on academic achievement. It is advisable to conduct additional research to authenticate these findings in various educational settings and investigate prospects for integrating empirical data into the process of decision-making.

Abstract

This paper aims to identify the factors affecting self-esteem and confidence among educators and how these factors influence their teaching effectiveness. The study employs a qualitative approach to explore self-esteem and lecturer performance. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed both concurrently and post-collection to ensure comprehensive understanding and immediate adjustment of interview questions as needed. The findings revealed that lecturers with low self-esteem and confidence often struggle with managing emotions and maintaining a balanced psychological state. The most significant contributor to low confidence was found to be an individual's personality, specifically their ability to control emotions. The study demonstrated that the primary driver of self-esteem is not stress, but an imbalance in mental processes. Additionally, this research developed a scale to measure self-esteem using two dimensions: acute fatigue and cognitive distortion. For confidence, the scale includes the dimensions of certainty and the reduction of certainty. These scales provide valuable tools for assessing and addressing issues of self-esteem and confidence among educators, ultimately contributing to improved teaching effectiveness and educational quality. The study contributes to the existing literature by highlighting the role of personality traits and emotional regulation in lecturer burnout and self-esteem, emphasizing the need for a holistic approach in addressing these issues in higher education.
