Abstract

This study aims to identify the tourism potential of Taman Firdaus of Sriwijaya University according to component 4A and SWOT analysis. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were students of Sriwijaya University and the manager of the construction of Taman Firdaus. The results obtained in this study are 1) Identification of the potential of Taman Firdaus through the condition of the 4A components, namely Attraction, Amenity, Accessibility, and Ancilliary. The attractions in Taman Firdaus are artificial lakes and fruit plantations. Meanwhile, in Amenity, tourist facilities have not been built, but there is already a road to Taman Firdaus as an accessibility component, although it has not been asphalted yet. As for additional services for the Ancilliary component, there is already a security team in charge of guarding the Taman Firdaus. 2) SWOT analysis shows that the tourism potential in Taman Firdaus is a strategic location and a large area of ??land. However, there are weaknesses in access to the location which is still in the form of soil and gravel and does not yet have supporting tourism facilities and infrastructure. In addition, there is an opportunity to make Taman Firdaus an object of ecotourism education so that it can create jobs for the community and students. Meanwhile, the threat encountered at the location is the large number of wild animals that can endanger the safety of visitors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of elderly cadres in increasing the participation of the elderly in posyandu activities in Margoyoso Village, Jayaloka District. In this study using a type of qualitative descriptive research. With data collection methods using interviews, observation and documentation. The research subjects were posyandu cadres, elderly cadres, and the elderly. The research results obtained were: elderly cadres at posyandu activities in Margoyooso village in increasing the participation of elderly cadres in posyandu activities, namely there were four stages, namely the approach, communication, activity implementation, and service stages. The results obtained from the role of levels in these 4 aspects are quite good, but not optimal. The approach is only carried out at the start of the scheduled Posyandu. The communication carried out by elderly cadres is to convey information about the implementation of posyandu activities. Posyandu activities are carried out starting from elderly cadres preparing tools and places for carrying out activities, accompanying the elderly in having their health checked by health workers. Services performed by elderly cadres only provide promotive and preventive services and curative and rehabilitative services are provided by health workers or village midwives.

Abstract

Knowledge and attitudes are very influential on behavior change. The elderly need education that aims to foster awareness including aspects of knowledge, attitudes and actions so as to realize changes in correct healthy behavior, because some elderly are still lacking in implementing a healthy lifestyle properly. The purpose of this study is as an education for the elderly about healthy lifestyles using video media at UPTD Harapan Kita Elderly Social Institution, South Sumatra Province. This study used the Experiment method with a pre-experimental research design of one group pretest-posttest. The virginity retrieval technique uses questionnaires and percentage descriptive data analysis techniques. The subjects in this study used purposive sampling with a total of 31 elderly people. The results showed that healthy lifestyle education for the elderly using video media in its delivery increased from 35% to 87%. This shows that indeed video media can improve learning outcomes because with video media, the elderly will better understand the material delivered by educators through the learning videos played. A healthy way of life must be done consistently and promptly, so that a solid way of life is a person's way of life to reduce disease.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of lecturers in implementing a green campus in the pillars of research and education at Edupark FKIP Unsri. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through Focus Group Discussions. The research subjects were lecturers and laboratory heads of each study program in the Ministry of Education (PAUD, PGSD, Community Education, and Guidance and Counseling). The study results show that there is still much that needs to be completed in Edupark FKIP Unsri as a complete standard of park criteria, including facilities: recreation, sports and outreach, as well as supporters and supporters and centres based on science study programs. Thus, research and educational activities can be carried out more optimally. It is suggested to faculty leaders to adapt better the planning process that is being made to the need to carry out research and teaching activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa adanya peran bimbingan belajar  dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa di lembaga bimbel BTA 70 cabang Indralaya, kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang mengikuti bimbingan belajar matematika di lembaga bimbel BTA 70 cabang Indralaya sebanyak 30 siswa dan sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 28 siswa yang masuk ke dalam kriteria penelitian dan merupakan siswa aktif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling total. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner (angket), wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan analisis statistik dan uji normalitas data. Hipotesis menggunakan perhitungan uji-t satu sampel  >  yaitu 10,64 > 2,052 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sementara hasil kuesioner menunjukkan persentase 94,08% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Kemudian hasil belajar pada nilai raport yang diperoleh oleh siswa semuanya mengalami peningkatan mulai dari 0-16 angka. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peran bimbingan belajar dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa di lembaga bimbel BTA 70 cabang Indralaya, kabupaten Ogan Ilir.  Disarankan agar lembaga bimbingan belajar dapat terus memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik khususnya pada metode dalam belajar untuk mengatasi kesulitan dalam belajar yang dialami siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi bentuk permasalahan di Satuan PAUD Al-Mitra Desa Meranjat II Indralaya Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini didapat melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 8 orang terdiri dari pengelola, pendidik, pemerintah desa, orang tua siswa dan tokoh masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan pembelajaran PAUD Al-Mitra berasal dari internal (dalam) dan eksternal (luar). Permasalahan internal (1) pembelajaran yang belum optimal karena pendidik mengalami kendala dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran, (2) kompetensi dan kualifikasi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang kurang, (3) perlunya dorongan bagi peserta didik yang masih memiliki sifat manja supaya potensi yang ada pada dirinya bisa berkembang, dan (4) sarana dan prasarana yang kurang cukup karena berangsur tidak layak pakai lagi. Selanjutnya permasalahan eksternal (1) komunikasi yang baik antara orang tua peserta didik dan pendidik dapat membantu mengoptimalkan perkembangan anak, (2) masih rendahnya kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam membantu mengembangkan PAUD, (3) belum adanya kebijakan yang mengatur keharusan bersekolah di PAUD desa sendiri, dan (4) kurangnya dana yang ada sehingga menyebabkan PAUD lambat berkembang. Abstract

Abstrak Pernikahan usia dini telah menjadi fenomena sosial yang kompleks dan memiliki dampak terhadap kehidupan keluarga, terutama dalam konteks ketahanan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ketahanan ekonomi keluarga pada pelaku pernikahan usia dini di desa Pengaringan, Pagaralam, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi deksriptif analitik. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data, kemudian mereduksi data sesuai dengan batasan dan tujuan yang telah ditentukan oleh peneliti untuk dapat menyajikan (display) data. Terkahir dilakukan verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan agar mendapatkan data yang sesuai dan akurat sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek pendapatan keluarga pelaku pernikahan usia dini hanya cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari dan sangat sulit untuk menyimpan uang, selain itu tempat tinggal keluarga sebagian besar masih bergantung kepada orang tua/mertua. Namun meskipun begitu temuan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh pelaku pernikahan usia dini berupaya menyisihkan uang mereka untuk pembiayaan pendidikan anak. Pelaku pernikahan usia dini di desa Pengaringan pun tidak memiliki jaminan keuangan keluarga dan umumnya hanya bergantung pada asuransi kesehatan yang diberikan oleh pemerintah. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang keadaan ketahanan ekonomi dan langkah-langkah pencegahan yang bisa diambil untuk mencegah masalah ekonomi pada mereka yang menikah di usia dini. Kompleksitas masalah ekonomi yang dihadapi oleh keluarga yang terlibat dalam pernikahan usia dini, sebagaimana dibahas dalam penelitian ini dapat dijadikan kajian untuk mencari solusi terhadap permasalahan pernikahan usia dini di Indonesia. Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem of household waste that is not managed properly, which results in environmental damage. The purpose of the study was to determine the awareness of housewives in managing waste through the application of reduce, reuse and recycle in Air Sugihan District. This study used a Quasi-Experimental quantitative approach. By using Pretest and Posttest Control Group Design type research design. The sampling technique used was a random sampling technique with a total of 87 respondents divided into a control group and an experimental group. Data collection was carried out by questionnaire (pretest and posttest) and observation. The results in this study showed an increase after being given treatment, namely socialization. Awareness in the control group obtained a percentage result of 55%, this result falls into the low category. Awareness in the experimental group before being given treatment (pretest) was obtained in the low category with a percentage of 58%. After being given treatment, namely socialization, posttest results showed an increase, namely an average percentage of 78% included in the high category. The observations also show that this study has changes in behavior in housewives in managing waste, but these changes are not comprehensive. Based on these results, the level of awareness of housewives is included in the stage of Conscious Competence, which is the stage of a person who is confident and does it right, but there needs to be practice and hard work to produce a habit.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of tourism awareness groups in the economic development of the Burai Tourism Village community, Ogan Ilir Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with interview, observation, and documentation methods. The results of the study show that the tourism awareness group in Burai Village has become a partner of the government in tourism development, from the development of tourism that has been carried out the tourism awareness group has been able to provide business opportunities and also employment opportunities for the community. Tourism awareness groups as beneficiaries try to provide positive benefits for the community from the development of tourism, the benefits felt in the form of economic development through the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector are marked by the increasing number of requests for goods. The tourism awareness group in creating a conducive environment and atmosphere seeks to provide understanding to the community to be good hosts, in creating a conducive atmosphere the value of Sapta Pesona becomes an inseparable element. The creation of a conducive atmosphere in tourist attractions is able to attract tourists who want to visit so that later it will have a positive influence in the form of increasing the number of requests for goods produced by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), creating job opportunities and the community is able to read business opportunities

Abstract

Eksploitasi anak sebagai penjual asongan pada umumnya terjadi pada anak usia sekolah. Eksploitasi pada anak usia sekolah dapat menggangu berbagai aspek pendidikan anak baik dari aspek kognitif, afektif hingga psikomotorik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus untuk meneliti dampak pendidikan pada anak yang tereksploitasi sebagai penjual asongan di kota palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan subjek menggunakan purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian merupakan data primer. Teknik observasi dan wawancara digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data dari subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian Eksploitasi anak sebagai penjual asongan memiliki dampak pada pendidikan anak. Tingkat pendidikan anak yang tereksploitasi cenderung rendah atau bahkan anak memiliki peluang putus sekolah, Tingkat keaksaraan pada anak yang tereksploitasi cenderung rendah, Aspek Kognitif dalam pendidikan anak menurun dan anak kesulitan berkompetisi dalam mendapatkan prestasi, Aspek afektif menunjukkan bahwa anak yang tereksploitasi menjadi tempemental dan labil dalam menghadapi lingkungan sekolah dan social, dan aspek psikomotorik menunjukkan kecenderungan anak sulit berkembang dan beradaptasi dalam suatu lingkungan dikarenakan ruang anak untuk mengembangkan diri ditekan demi memenuhi kepentingan eksploitasi terhadap anak itu sendiri.
