Abstract

The study aims to determine the validity of interactive learning media on graphic design subjects of printing using the four-D model and know the level of understanding of learners after receiving learning. Interactive learning Media helps the interaction between teachers and learners in learning. The methods used in this research are research and development using four-D models. The research consists of four phases, namely (1) definition, (2) planning, (3) development, and (4) dissemination. Subjects in the study were students of class XI Multimedia 1 SMK Negeri 5 Malang. The instruments used include interactive learning media validation sheets, multiple choice tests including pretests and posttest, assessment sheets, learners ' response questionnaire. Based on the results of the study obtained that: (1) Interactive learning Media-based e-books graphic design printing is declared worthy based on the validation results with an average validation result by a validator of 87%, it indicates that Media that is made valid with the category "excellent". (2) The level of understanding of learners obtained based on the average results of pretests and posttest. The overall pretests results average of 64.5. While the average posttest results amounted to 78.2. The average rate difference of pretests and posttest is 13.7. This suggests that interactive learning media-based e-book graphic design printing is able to improve learners ' understanding.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, Bank Indonesia has created services that can support educational needs in Indonesia, one of which is the application of a digital library called iBI Library. The iBI Library application provides benefits to the public in reading books wherever they are without having to go and search for books in the library. Feedback from some users complained that there were some problems such as difficulty in finding features to register an account, some buttons that were unresponsive, and features that were less familiar to users. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the usability value in this application through 3 stages: initial evaluation to measure learnability, efficiency, error and satisfaction survey using LEMTool to measure satisfaction components, the second stage is making recommendations for improvement based on problems found through observation and interview, the third stage is to carry out further evaluation of the results of improvements that have been made based on a number of combined guidelines and then compared the value of the initial evaluation and further evaluation. The test participants who were respondents were library visitors (users) who were users who had the character of leisure or necessity factor, namely merely filling their free time and Subject of study, which meant having the subject of the field being explored. Overall, the improvement recommendations that have been made provide an increase in the value of the learnability component with a value of 71.45% to 91.62%, an increase in the value of the efficiency component with a value of 0.04 goals / sec to 0.07 goals / sec, a decrease in the value of the error component with a value of 17.5 % to 2.8%, and improvement in quality of satisfaction with an average value of positive emotions of 54.8% and negative emotions of 45.2% to 97.6% and negative emotions of 2.4% after improvement.

Abstract

In the process of learning activities in class in general students need an evaluation to measure the extent of academic development. In fact, evaluating learning activities is not only needed by students but also parents. The problem faced by parents is to have their own activities. Parents are not easy to monitor student learning outcomes in real-time and online. The purpose of this study makes it easy for parents to monitor student learning outcomes at school by using Android-based mobile apps. For the development model of the student monitoring application, that is the waterfall. With the requirements specification stage, system design analysis, implementation and testing. The results of developing a student monitoring application have two teacher users and parents. It has an login, reset password, change password, add score, delete score, check comments, check score, leave comments and logout. For testing using 2 methods, black box and user acceptance testing. Black box testing aims at whether all functionalities that have been created when the requirements specification stage is valid or invalid. After testing the black box by running each function, it can be concluded that all functionalities are valid and can be run well. For user acceptance testing, 5 respondents were asked to get direct feedback. This test aims at whether the student monitoring application can be accepted by users to facilitate monitoring student learning outcomes. After testing user acceptance testing, 5 respondents answered 100% YES and the application is acceptable.

Abstract

One of the problem experienced by teachers of SMKN 3 Malang in class X-TKJ 1 Digital Simulation and Basic Programming lessons is on student engagement, students sometimes feel bored with repetitive activities temporarily as we know in learning sometimes teachers only provide material on the board or then the projector then makes questions and does it on paper and then collects it. Student engagement has 3 dimensions, namely behavioral engagement (student participation), emotional engagement (student interest in doing something) and cognitive engagement (students' efforts in completing their tasks when learning) (Fredricks et al, 2004). The lack of enthusiasm of students towards learning also affects the willingness of students to pay attention to the material. So that students want to participate in learning and not feel bored, Kahoot and Socrative are educational games that can be a solution. Based on this, recommendations are needed regarding User Experience Kahoot and Socrative by using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. There are 6 items assessed in UEQ, namely attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty.

Abstract

Music is one of entertainment that is relatively easy and is often accessed in the digital world. Many music application developers compete to provide the best applications to satisfy the desires of world music lovers, especially in Indonesia. One application that is popular and popular right now in the music application is Spotify. With an assessment of the standard music player application, Spotify with premium or paid features already meets the requirements to be an excellent application for playing music judged by appearance, song completeness, standard features such as creating playlists, radio and others, sound quality, additional features such as music charts, total song listeners, and events regularly held by Spotify. In this study using the Hedonic Motivation System variable to analyze the motivation of premium users of the Spotify music player application in purchasing premium features because in the hedonic motivation system it has variables that are used to analyze the motivation of users of premium features which are seen in the motivation of customer pleasure and loyalty in the Spotify music application . It is expected that by using the Hedonic Motivation System variable can find out the results of the analysis of the motivation of users of the Spotify application premium features in purchasing premium features. Based on the explanation above, it is expected that with this research the success rate of the Spotify music player application can be seen as a reference for developers to develop online music player applications.

Abstract

An assessment of the maturity level of IT governance in the application of information technology using the COBIT 4.1 framework specifically domain Acquire and Implementation case studies at PT. Samudra Sarana Logistik. COBIT (Control Objective for Information and Related Technology) Version 4.1 is one of the most widely used IT Governance standard frameworks. This research is focused on one main COBIT domain, namely Acquire and Implementation (AI) at PT. Samudra Sarana Logistik, the research method consists of observation, interviews and data analysis using the COBIT Version 4.1 framework. The results of the evaluation of the measurement of the Maturity level of AI 1 is at level 2 (Repeatable but Intuitive), Maturity level of AI 2 is at level 2 (Repeatable but Intuitive), Maturity level of AI ​3 is at level 2 (Repeatable but Intuitive), Maturity level of AI 4 is at the level 5 (Optimized), Maturity level of AI 5 is at level 3 (Defined), Maturity level of AI 6 is at level 1 (Initial / Ad Hoc), and the maturity level of AI 7 is at level 2 (Repeatable but Intuitive). From differences that arise in the gap analysis, the results of the gap analysis can be make 11 recommendations which will help the company in increasing the level of maturity to be achieved.

Abstract

Evaluation of maturity level is needed in the management of information technology assets owned by Perusahaan XYZ to make the management of information technology assets better. Thus, the performance of Perusahaan XYZ as a bank corporation can be improved. This research uses the COBIT 5 framework. The purpose of this research is to identify the extent to which Perusahaan XYZ has managed its assets and optimizes the cost of IT assets. Data retrieval in this study is by questionnaire, observation and interviews used to support observational data. COBIT 5 is used as a reference for evaluating the process of managing information technology assets. The results of Perusahaan XYZ maturity level assessment through the BAI09 (Manage Assets) process domain found that the maturity level is at level 1 with a L or Largely achieved rating with a percentage of 72.1% where the implemented process has succeeded in achieving its process objectives. Which means the maturity level of information technology asset management in Perusahaan XYZ is at level 1 (Performed process). There is a gap between targeted level and the current level which consist of 1 point. Recommendations for improvement are given so that the process can reach the targeted maturity level which is level 2 (Managed Process).

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Mojokerto is a government agency that implements the development of information technology, but in the case of monitoring illegal access rights no record or documentation has been made. It is only handled when there has been a breakdown in the system, they have to pay concern about the safety of government information. In this research we try to measure information security management at Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Mojokerto using KAMI Index version 3.1 according to the standard of ISO / IEC 27001:2013. The evaluation result of information security completeness level is 109 and maturity level of each area of information security at the level I to level I +. It shows that information security at Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Mojokerto need to be improved. There are thirteen recommendations in the areas of information security governance, eight recommendations on the area of information security risk management, fifteen recommendations on areas of information security management framework, twenty four recommendations on the asset management area information, and the fourteen recommendations in the area of technology and information security. One of the recommendations for improvements by create organizational policies and procedures regarding information security using ITIL framework version 4 IT asset management practices.

Abstract

This research applied quantitative approach and correlational research method in order to find out the influence of peer social support variables and learning discipline on the students learning outcomes in the subject of Wide Area Network (WAN) for students of Grade XI TKJ at SMK Negeri 6 Malang. In doing activities of field industrial practice, students face technical aspects of wired and wireless networks oftentimes. Besides, student understanding of network design and management is still considered as less, due to so this research took WAN subjects as the research area. The data of peer social support and learning discipline were obtained from the results of the questionnaire, while the data of student learning outcomes were obtained from the documentation of research. The study population included 68 students of Grade XI TKJ 2 and XI TKJ 3, SMK Negeri 6 Malang in which they also take parts as research samples (technique of saturation sampling). The classic assumption trial was performed firstly and the results of research data were normally distributed, linear and there were no symptoms of multicollinearity, and also the heteroscedasticity did not occur, so that the parametric statistical approach was applied in the data analysis. Thereafter, regression, correlation, and hypothesis tests were used in analyzing the data. The results showed that there was no influence from peer social support variables and learning discipline toward student learning outcomes, which meant that H0 was accepted. Whereas, the results of the regression significance numbers of the research variables partially or simultaneously obtained successive results of 0.241> 0.05; 0.117> 0.05; 0.233> 0.05.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are: 1) to determine the influence of lecture method assisted by Quizizz on the cognitive learning outcomes of students, 2) to determine whether or not there is an effect on the implementation of the lecture method assisted by Quizizz on students' psychomotor learning outcomes, 3) to determine the influence of the quality of lecture method assisted by Quizizz media on the students' cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes. The significance of this research is to provide information on how the influence and implementation of the lecture method assisted by Quizizz on students' learning outcomes. This research uses a semi-experimental method using a pseudo-experimental method (quasi-experiment). Experimental Research is a study that aims to determine the presence or absence of a cause and effect relationship through the treatment of the experiment group and the controls in comparison. Based on research conducted in SMK 12 Malang obtained the result that 1) there is an influence of the lecture method assisted by Quizizz media to the students ' cognitive learning outcomes, 2) the implementation of Quizizz on lecture method does not influence the students' psychomotor learning outcomes, 3) there is an influence on the quality of lecture method assisted by Quizizz to the students ' cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes.
