Abstract

PT. Jawa Pos is a company which engaged in the multimedia printing daily newspaper named Jawa Pos, based in Surabaya, East Java. Furthermore Jawa Pos is also engaged in the application and the website as a media for users to read the news. The purpose of this research is to know the quality of Jawa Pos website which emphasizes on three variables, namely Usability factor, Information Quality factor, Service Interaction Quality factor on Jawa Pos website based on Webqual 4.0 method. Data collection is obtained from the dissemination of questionnaires and analysis using descriptive analysis and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method which assesses the performance of Jawa Pos website based on the importance of each variable. The valuation scale on this study used the Likert scale method implementing the 5 scales of choice with statements ranging from strongly disagreeing to very concur. While the technique used to measure the number of respondents needed in this study, using Slovin technique with a percentage of accuracy is 90%, so the number of respondents needed in this research is 100 respondents. To limit the scope of existing, the characteristics of the population in this study are the people who have experience using Jawa Pos websites to read the news online with sampling techniques using the approach Convenience Sampling. This research resulted in an improvement recommendation based on its factors of interest and performance.

Abstract

Female Daily is a discussion platform dedicated for women which contain collection of information and articles that provide website and mobile applications as touch points to users. To maintain user intention from their behavior, an evaluation of users who have accounts on the touch point platform using a Theory of Planned Behavior modified (DTPB) were evaluated. with Relative advantages, Compatibility, Complexity, Attitude, Normative Influences, Subjective Norms, Facilitating Conditions, Perceived Behavioral Control, Curiosity, Self-efficacy, Perceived Enjoyment and Intention. This research used descriptive analysis and instrument formed as questionnaire with a study population of 189,000 Female Daily active users. Calculation of sample used Slovin formula with error rate 10% generated 122 people as participants. Mean results showed variables Perceived Behavioral Control (4,15), Facilitating Conditions (3,8), Self Efficacy (4,1), Subjective Norm (3,46), Normative Influence (3,38), Attitude (4,45), Relative Advantages (4,64), Compatibility (4,44), Complexity (1,97), Curiosity (4,53), Perceived Enjoyment (4,48) and Intention (3,38). Recommendations formed such as maintain and enhance up-to-date information on the existing touch points, adjust a simple layout display and based on user needs, introduction of a wider platform through advertising promotion on social media and beauty influencers, increasing convenience among users with enhanced features report account that violates the rules.

Abstract

Sugar Factory Management Information System Application (SIMPG) is a monitoring application developed by PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XI which is used to monitor and supervise the growth of sugarcane in the rice fields. Problems arising from the use of the SIMPG information system application are some users of the SIMPG application who are less committed and inconsistent in using it thoroughly. In this study,the writer used 3 variables taken from the UTAUT model, namely Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy and Social Influence that affect user acceptance and user intentions in using the SIMPG (Behavioral Intention) application. This study aims to determine whether the three independent variables used have an influence on the dependent variable. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis method. In this study the respondents who participated were employees of PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI Surabaya who used the SIMPG application which is spread in each sugar factory in East Java. The data collection, in this study, used a questionnaire and the number of samples obtained amounted to 71 people. The results obtained are the Effort Expectancy variable has a significant effect on the Behavioral Intention variable while the Performance Expectancy variable and the Social Influence variable have no significant effect on the Behavioral Intention variable.

Abstract

Penanaman Modal and Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPM-PTSP) become one government agency that has implemented e-gov in its services. One of the services provided by the One Stop Investment and Integrated Services Office is the Integrated Licensing website (http://www.perijinan.kubarkab.go.id). This study aims to determine the quality of Integrated Licensing website services to user satisfaction. The variables studied were adjusted to the e-govqual model consisting of Usability, Information Quality, Security, Public Responsiveness. The type of data obtained in this study is in the form of qualitative data. Data collection was carried out by interviewing 6 participants, which were divided into two categories namely, participants who had used it and those who had never used it. The results obtained from this study, the Usability variable was considered good, but the Multilingual indicator was not yet available. Information Quality is considered quite good, the Information Timeliness indicator, the timeliness of displaying information needs to be improved. The Security variable gets a good rating but still needs to improve the security of the user's data privacy on the website or through agencies. Public Responsiveness variable is considered quite good. In the Government Responsiveness indicator it is necessary to improve the response to responses to questions and questions from citizens of users.

Abstract

Learning is a combination of teaching and study activities that involve an active interaction between the teacher and students so that the specified goals are achieved. However, there are problems when implementing learning in class X of the Department of Computer and Network Engineering at Vocational High School 3 of Malang that is the lack of quality of multi-direction interaction caused by the limited frequency of time teachers teach directly in the classroom and students passively ask questions during learning. The population in this research were all grade X students the Department of Computer and Network Engineering in the 2018/2019 academic year who were attending Computer and Basic Networking subjects with a total of 71 students. The sampling technique used in this research is the saturated sampling technique because all members of population are made into a research sample consisting of 35 students of class X TKJ 1 and 36 students of class X TKJ 2. In this research using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This research compares between conventional learning models and blended learning models with Edmodo aims to improve the quality of multi-directional interaction. The type of weak experimental research using a static-group pretest-posttest design was used in this research. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the researchers found that there was a significant difference in the quality of multi-direction interaction between the blended learning classes with Edmodo compared to the conventional learning classes based on evidence from the results of the t-test.

Abstract

As a form of government responsibilities and services to the citizen through the implementation of e-gov, the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Jember developed the Service Information System (SIP) website as a step to realize a good governance. The aim is to increase efficiency, comfort and ease of accessibility of services to the community. This research is conducted in order to assess the quality of SIP service using the e-GovQual framework and the goal is to get the priority of developing website. This research is a quantitative research involving 100 respondents. There are 21 statements representing the attributes of the e-GovQual dimension. Those were tested using Cronbach's α. The data was processed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to get the main factors that affect each dimension of e-GovQual. From the average value of communalities for each dimension, it is known that the highest priority lies in Citizen Support (0.739); followed by Trust (0.670); Reliability (0.627); and Efficiency (0.587).

Abstract

Malang continues to initiate a digital-based government and budgeting system to achieve Malang Smart City in 2020. However, based on the results of the 2018 SPBE evaluation, the results have not been maximized. This is due to the lack of policies that form the basis or legal umbrella in the implementation of SPBE. In addition, the lack of utilization of IT governance in the administration of local government also results in e-government effectiveness. For this reason Dinas Kominfo Kota Malang needs an effective IT governance reference. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the management of strategies and IT frameworks using COBIT 5. The results of the evaluation are used as a basis for recommendations for improvement to support the improvement of SPBE evaluation results the next year to Malang Smart City 2020. Based on the measurement results of capability level in the Manage the process The IT Management Framework (APO01) and Manage Strategy (APO02) both reach level 1. Furthermore, an analysis of the gap between capability levels and targeted levels is carried out as a basis for preparing recommendations. Each recommendation given will be mapped into a road map that shows the planned program or activity along with the achievement targets for each process that is evaluated. In addition, recommendations were made based on ITIL V3 2011 guidelines related to The Seven-Step Improvement Process and Strategy Management for IT Services.

Abstract

One of the impacts of the change in curriculum structure (from the 2006 curriculum to the 2013 curriculum) is that there are basic programming subjects in the Department of Multimedia class X which previously did not exist. This has caused problems, including the lack of relevant learning resources and the results of evaluating the function material while carrying out Lesson Study in the Multimedia-C class X, 28 students out of 37 students scored below the KKM (Minimum completeness criteria). These problems need to be developed in Interactive Learning Multimedia (MPI) using the APPED model to improve student learning outcomes. The results of the MPI product evaluation were declared valid by researchers at the ongoing evaluation stage, for the alpha test stage the assessment of material experts was 97.80% and included in the category of "very valid", for the assessment of media experts which amounted to 68.90% and included the category " valid ", and for the assessment of instructional experts that is equal to 82.50% and belongs to the category of" very valid ", then MPI products are distributed to determine the level of effectiveness of the product in learning by conducting different tests using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and producing Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000 because the value is lower than 0.050, it can be concluded that MPI products are considered effective.

Abstract

The information technology was emphasized on concept of information share which aimed to support public service. This information was referred as valuable asset which needed to the government protection through the management of information security. Currently, the management of information security in Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (KOMINFO) Kota Malang has not been optimally implemented. This condition due to some technical problems related to information security issue which have been occurred repeatedly. On the evaluation of Electronic-Based Government System in 2018, KOMINFO has achieved less maximal result. The security was an important aspect in this valuation. Besides, the institution did not have certification on information security management system which was required by the Central Government. Therefore, this research aimed to evaluate the information security by means of KAMI index 4.0 version. Based on the evaluation, the result was exerted as a basic of improvement recommendation which functioned to support the process of information security improvement in appropriate to standard equipment SNI/ISO 27001:2013. Further, according to this evaluation result, it showed the Level of Completeness 246 and maturity level on level I+. Thus, from this last evaluation result, KOMINFO was categorized as not feasible to the completeness of standard implementation SNI/ISO 27001:2013. As the consequence, it resulted to 9 recommendations on governance area, 13 recommendation on risk management area, 12 recommendation on framework area, 16 recommendations on asset management area, 9 recommendations on technology and security area, and 9 recommendations on supplementary area which were proposed to complete the equipment of information security implementation.

Abstract

To realize the dream of Malang City as a Smart City, Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) Kota Malang is currently in the process of fixing all the deficiencies based on the results of an evaluation of the Electronic Based Government System (EBGS) in 2018, such as developing, improving and quality improvement of existing services. However, during the application development process, there are differences or problems found and the solution of these problems has not been well documented so that it can have an impact on the further suboptimal application development process because of repeating the same mistakes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of the assessment of the capability level of the application development process of Malang City Communication and Information Office. The purpose of this study is to obtain data in the field through interviews and document searches. The assessment is carried out in six process areas based on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) product roadmap using the Class CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) class C. The results obtained from the assessment of the six process areas are that there is no process area that meets all existing practices. In other words, the capability level of Malang City Communication and Information Agency as a whole is still at level 0 or incomplete. Based on the results of the assessment identified recommendations to meet practices that have not been done and improve the capability level of the application development process of Dinas Kominfo Kota Malang.
