Abstract

Curriculum-13 contains an assessment of affective attitudes that focuses on the feelings, interests, and talents of each student. Some examples of attitudes that students have are self-confidence, discipline, and responsibility. This study discusses the effect or impact of affective attitudes (confidence, discipline, and responsibility) on success in the learning process in Web and Mobile Programming subjects. Measurement of affective attitudes was measured using a questionnaire containing statements related to behavior in class. Measurement of learning achievement is taken from daily test scores for one semester. The population used is class X RPL SMK PGRI Malang with a total of 55 respondents. This study is classified as a quantitative study because the processed information is in the form of numbers. Using the comparative causal method in order to convey causal relationships that focus on cause and effect. The type of statistics used in this study is parametric statistics. Testing the data through the process of testing the validity and reliability. Meanwhile, data classification uses descriptive analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis on the affective aspects and student achievement showed that they were in the medium category. Proof of hypothesis based on multiple regression analysis by performing t test and f test. Statistical results show that self-confidence has an effect on learning achievement of Web and Mobile Programming by 8.80% in a negative direction. While the attitude of discipline has an effect of 29.00% in a positive direction and an attitude of responsibility has an effect of 11.20% in a positive direction.

Abstract

As the highest level school in High School category, Senior High School has a main fokus to preparing students to continue their education stage. For that reason, senior high school have to have a good management's strategies to support the student self-preparation. The academic management information system is a form of using technology to support education management by creating access to speed, accuracy, and integrated data collection which influencing the effectiveness and efficiency of educational services. SMAN 13 Depok is one of the senior high school that doesn't have an academic information system yet. SMAN 13 Depok needs a system which connecting the students and schools and also make it easier for both parties to control academic data. This study uses Goal Directed Design (GDD) as a method for designing the academic information system user interface (SIAKAD) of SMAN 13 Depok. The research resulted in a prototype user interface SIAKAD SMAN 13 Depok, which has task completion rate value of 100% for teacher users and 97.5% for student users with satisfactory as level of effectiveness. The time-based efficiency value is 0.011749 for teacher users and 0.014232 for student users. The SEQ is used to measure user satisfaction with result scores of 6.16, which is above the average.

Abstract

The use of Social Network Sites (SNS) is increasing to find information during the social restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The information available on SNS will help individuals understand the situation as it occurs and review preventive measures. However, the information available in several sources can be risky and have a negative impact on SNS users to affect the psychological well-being of users and encourage the emergence of information anxiety. This study aims to identify the factors that can encourage the emergence of information anxiety in SNS users during the COVID-19 pandemic by looking at the effects of two overload factors, namely system feature overload and information overload using the Covariance-based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) analysis method. The results of the study prove that only one of the two research hypotheses that can be accepted, namely information overload affects information anxiety in users, while the system feature overload hypothesis affects information anxiety in SNS users is rejected. Therefore, this shows that information overload has been proven to encourage the emergence of information anxiety, while system feature overload has not been proven to encourage the emergence of information anxiety in SNS users during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

In online learning situations, appropriate learning strategies are needed to deliver learning materials to students and how to motivate students when carrying out online learning. This research is a quantitative type of causality analysis. This study seeks to find out the relationship between direct instructional learning strategies and learning outcomes, the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes, and the relationship between direct instructional learning strategies and learning motivation together on learning outcomes. The data collection method used a questionnaire that was distributed and filled out online. The number of respondents was 131 students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering at SMKN 2 Singosari. This study uses the product moment correlation test to prove the hypothesis. The results showed that (1) there was no positive and significant relationship between direct instructional learning strategies and learning outcomes based on a significance value of 0.414 > 0.05; (2) there is no positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes based on a significance value of 0.798 > 0.05; (3) there is no positive and significant relationship between direct instructional learning strategies and learning motivation with learning outcomes based on a significance value of 0.702 > 0.05.

Abstract

Learning is the main activity in the whole educational process in schools. Because learning is done at home (online), the success of learning will be disrupted, especially in the aspects of learning motivation, technological literacy, and collaboration between students. The purpose of this study is to compare aspects of learning motivation, technological literacy, and student collaboration when they are still doing face-to-face learning, compared to online learning. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Interviews with students and teachers relate to these three aspects. Then the analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman method, namely collecting data, reducing research data, and presenting data. Based on the results of interviews that have been conducted, there are several keywords that appear in the research. Among them are limited internet quota, and also network problems. The conclusion in this study is that most students at SMK Negeri 12 Malang feel they tend to experience a decrease in learning motivation in terms of attendance and doing assignments, compared to when they were still in school face to face. Then for technological literacy, most students admitted that they only knew about learning applications when distance learning took place and not a few had difficulties in operating. Meanwhile, in the aspect of collaboration between students, most of the students admitted that they had difficulty communicating with other students.

Abstract

The application of educational technology is often used to support the learning process, one of the media of learning arithmetic. The use of learning media in the actions of the student learning process that has been carried out can store data in the data log. Data log on the sequence of student learning processes that have been generated need to be done information processing and analysis to identify the same learning patterns to help teachers provide appropriate feedback. This research aims to utilize data log from arithmetic learning media by using sequential pattern mining methods used to extract useful information from the student's learning process while working on problems. The algorithm used is Sequential PAttern Discovery using Equivalent classes (SPADE). The SPADE algorithm is applied to identify the same learning patterns based on student learning activities when using the learning media. Furthermore, learning patterns that have been successfully extracted will be analyzed for the same learning patterns based on the category of students' ability to solve problems. Based on the results of implementation and analysis that has been done on 17 problems that have been successfully processed in arithmetic learning media, 6 patterns of learning activities are produced that vary at each problem and level, which are: pattern 1, pattern 2, pattern 3 , pattern 4, pattern 5, and pattern 6. Each pattern requires different feedback to optimize learning progress.

Abstract

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning process is not optimal. The learning process before the pandemic was carried out face-to-face, but learning is currently forced to switch online (on a network). The impact of the application of online learning makes students feel bored, their enthusiasm for learning decreases, and even students' grades are also decreasing. In response to this, the principal of SDN Madiopuro implemented the use of Quizizz which was expected to increase students' enthusiasm for learning. So far, the application has only been carried out in one class, because valid data is needed regarding information on the Quizizz implementation that has been implemented. The purpose of this study was to find out how the experiences of students and teachers in using Quizizz. In addition, this study will analyze the value before and after using Quizizz. To find out the comparison of data, data is needed for classes that do not use Quizizz. Therefore, this study is a comparative study comparing classes that use and do not use Quizizz. The results of this study indicate that the class that uses Quizizz gets a better average score, and all students in the class agree that Quizizz is easy to use and fun.

Abstract

Work Based Learning (WBL) is the core of vocational training where students build character and a professional work culture in order to prepare students for work or entrepreneurship. TKJ SMKN 1 Nglegok is an educational unit that uses learning materials for the world of work and collaborates with several businesses to provide job prospects to students. This situation can help students enter the world of work according to their fields, but alumni who register to work according to their disciplines still account for 25% to 30% of the total. The problem in this situation, according to the head of TKJ SMKN 1 Nglegok, when exploring problems, learning motivation, student performance, intensity of internship guidance were found to be problems of student work readiness. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of learning motivation, student performance and the intensity of internship guidance on work readiness at SMKN 1 Nglegok. This research method is descriptive quantitative. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. according to the T test results , learning motivation had a significant effect on 0.000, student performance had a significant effect on 0.004, and the intensity of internship guidance had a significant effect on 0.010 for work readiness. The F test has a statistical significance of 0.000. The coefficient of determination for the distribution is 66.8 percent. The final result of this study is a recommendation for the implementation of WBL with a description of the real condition of students in aspects of learning motivation, student performance, and intensity of internship guidance for student work readiness.
