Abstract

Integrated Billing System (IBS) is an information system which developed by PT. PELINDO to facilitate the exchange of data and information of a harbor. This system is based on website applications which integrated between agencies and industrial player. However, in the process of application to each branch appear a different success rate due to various factors that exist in each branch. The objective of this research is to describe the acceptance and success rate of the implementation IBS using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Human Organization Technology (HOT-Fit) model. Data collection was done by spreading the questionnaire where the number of respondents selected was 18 respondents based on saturated sample technique. The results of this study indicate that the acceptance level of the IBS system has reached good category with the value reaching 79.35%. While the success rate based on HOT-Fit model reached 79.56% and categorized good.

Abstract

EVENTMALANG website is a media for reporting information about event performances in Malang, Batu, and its surroundings which is located at www.eventmalang.net. This study discusses how to increase the level of usability website using the WEBUSE questionnaire which has 4 categories of Content,vOrganization andvReadability, Navigationvand Links, UservInterface Design and Performancevand Effectiveness which are given to 30 respondents with purposive sampling technique. Solution design making applies the Human Centered Design (HCD) approach and then evaluates the solution design again. The results of the solution design evaluation showed the highest increase in the category of User Interface Design that experienced an increase of 0.103. Followed by Navigation and Links an increase of 0.086. Content, Organization and Readability has increased by 0.065, and Performance and Effectiveness has increased by 0.055.

Abstract

Batu Among Tani Technology is an information system where there are three applications that are integrated into information system of BATT, the three applications are Among Tani, Among Kota, and Among Warga applications. The creating of BATT information system is purposed to prosper and serve the society of Batu. BATT information system was released in the middle of-2017 ago. This study aimed to understand the condition of quality and the successful of implementation of information system of Batu Teknologi Among Tani (BATT). This study was conducted with a combined model of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Delone & Mclean. The data used were 160 respondents by using purposive sampling. The data were collected through questionnaires. The results of quality analysis on perceived usefulness, actual system use variable included to category of very high, and perceived ease of use variable, attitude towards using, behavioral intention to use included to category of high. The results of the successful analysis on the system quality variable, information quality variable, use, user satisfaction included to category of high, service quality included to category of high enough, and the net benefits variable included to category of very high. The results of the quality of BATT information system implementation based on the TAM model are in the high category with a percentage of 79.0% and the successful implementation based on the Delone & Mclean model is in the high category with a score of 77.37%.

Abstract

Open Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is one of the systems used and utilized by the library of Brawijaya University to provide information related to the availability and collection of books owned by the library. The purpose of this study was to determine the success of the implementation of the Open Public Access Catalog (OPAC) system in the library of Brawijaya University using Delone and Mclean Model. Delone and Mclean Model consists of six variables, namely system quality, information quality, service quality, use, user satisfaction and net benefits. The population in this study was obtained from the number of active students of Brawijaya University as users of the OPAC system of 57.975 people. The data obtained from this study were obtained from questionnaires and by using the stratified purposive sampling technique, then obtained a sample of 113 respondents. The results obtained in this study are in the condition of each variable in the Delone and Mclean Model. system quality, use, user satisfaction and net benefits are in the high category while information quality and service quality variables are in the high enough category. From the results obtained, it is necessary to prioritize improvements in the indicators possessed by the Delone and Mclean Model variables with an average percentage of each indicator that is below the average percentage of the overall indicator.

Abstract

Department of Communication and Information of Bukittinggi is one of the government institutions that have the authority to handle the government affairs on the field of communication and information. It facing some problems on governing and implementing their own assets. Hence, the IT governance evaluation was required using the COBIT 4.1 frameworks to all of the processes on Acquire and Implement (AI) domain. The purpose of this research was aimed to get know how is the existing condition of IT governance on Department of Communication and Information of Bukittinggi by assessing the maturity level and giving the recommendation in the form of the draft of the documents. The data was collected by doing several methods such as questionnaires, interviews, and observation. Respondents are defined by analyzing the RACI Chart. The result for the maturity level has an average of 1.57 and the gap analysis was 1.00. The target level was defined to be one level ahead of the existing conditions. To achieve that targets, the recommendation that given was by making Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) on all of the processes on Acquire and Implement (AI) domain and completing the documentation by doing it with a formal and standardized format. It will be later implemented on Department of Communication and Information of Buktttinggi so, the IT governance can be good and controlled.

Abstract

The e-report card value reporting system is used by high school to manage student grades. However, in operation there are still complaints from users of the system such as failing to function the print value causes the withdrawal of student report cards and system bugs when the value that should not exist but the system gives a value of 0. This study aims to evaluate the quality and success of the e-report card school for the continued implementation of e-report cards based on the Expectation-Confirmation Model and DeLone & McLean Model models. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires and interviews as supporting the results of the questionnaire. The sample used in this study was a saturated sample with 39 respondents from the curriculum, homeroom and school admin. The results of this study indicate the level of quality of e-report card system is 80.8%. In the Perceived of Usefulness variable, it is in the high category (83.2%), Confirmation is in the high category (80.4%), Satisfaction is in the high category (75%) and IS Continuance Intention is in the high category (84.6% ). The success rate of the e-report card system is 74.5%. In the Information Quality variable included in the high category (74.2% ), Quality System included in the high category (75.2% ), Service Quality variables included in the high category (60.8%), Use variables included in the high category (72% ), variables User Satisfaction is in the high category (80% ) and the Net Benefit variable is in the high category (85.2% ). Quality improvement recommendations will be given to the Confirmation and Satisfaction variable because it is below the total variable average. Then recommendations for increasing success will be given to the Information Quality, Service Quality and Use variables because they are below the total variable average.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the quality of the website global methods based on Online Republika quality evaluation, namely assessing the intrinsic variables, operational, contextual and representational. In addition, the study also aims to provide recommendations to improve the quality of the website Online from Republika fourth assessment variables above. Global quality evaluation is a fundamental concept to evaluate the quality of the content of the website consists of four variables that have been mentioned above. The sample used i.e. based on the selection of most of the population of visitors who access the website Republika Online. Data retrieval is done by way of disseminating a questionnaire on the user, then the data will be processed and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The result of the evaluation of the quality of the content of the website of Republika Online on intrinsic variables have a percentage of 69.49% that is located at a high category. On operational variables have a percentage of 72.10% that is located at a high category. Contextual variables have percentage 71.44% that is located at a high category. And on a variable percentage of 61.32% have representational i.e. are on a high category. However, the four variables still there are some charge indicators will still require improvement.

Abstract

Website Wisata Sengkaling is owned by Taman Rekreasi Sengkaling UMM. Website that has some problems in writing on the website, content layout and inappropriate color selection. The focus of this research is how to improve the appreance of the interface design on Wisata Sengkaling. Usability evaluation in this study uses the Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) with four categories, that is Content, Organisation and Readability, Navigation and Links, User Interface Design and Performance and Effectiveness. The repair method used is the Human Centered Design (HCD). The discussion in the study is specify the context of use, specify the user requirement, produce design solution and evaluate the design solution. The result of this study indicate that the design of solution made using the Human Centered Design method is better than the initial design. Evaluation in old design in the Content, Organisation and Readability category have value 0,57. In the Navigation and Links category have value 0,57. In the User Interface Design category have value 0,54. In the Performance and Effectiveness category have value 0,55. But, on new design solution in the Content, Organisation and Readability category have value 0,65. In the Navigation and Links category have value 0,64 In the User Interface Design category have value 0,66. In the Performance and Effectiveness category have value 0,66.

Abstract

PLN Mobile is a Mobile application built by PT. PLN which aims to provide electricity services through Mobile apps. PLN Mobile has several services, namely information, check bills, provision of electricity, complaints, and contact centers. The PLN Mobile application has not been able to achieve the objectives in providing convenience in Mobile services due to the many user complaints on user review playstore for navigation or difficult application usage, therefore it is necessary to do usability evaluation to find out usability problems that exist at the PLN Mobile application interface. In this study usability evaluation uses the Nielsen's heuristic method. Heuristic evaluation method is a method used to find usability problems in the interface design of a product based on 10 usability principles. Heuristic evaluation in this study was carried out by 4 expert usability. The heuristic evaluation of the PLN Mobile application found that there are 22 problem with the highest average severity rating found on the principle of H-3 (User control and freedom), namely the severity rating of 2.7. While the heuristic principle with the largest percentage of findings is H-4 (Consistency and Standards) with a percentage of 22,88% of all findings of the problem. This research also provides improvement recommendations from evaluators which are very useful to be used as a consideration for PLN Mobile to improve the application.

Abstract

Pedagogic competence is the main of terms that must be had for a teacher. in Information Technology Education Program Study, Faculty of Computer Science Brawijaya University, obligate their students to do Educational Field Experience Placement to equip their graduates become a teacher. PPL has several part, they are Registration of PPL, Practice PPL I, Practice PPL II, and PPL Report. However, the information system for this program has not supported yet in Faculty of Computer Science at the same time. So that, the activity of PPL become less effective. According to that problem, this research aim to develop an information system that can support process PPL for every stakeholder. The system that will be developed having four features, they are Registration PPL for student, Record Logbook for student, Approve Logbook for teacher, and Assessment PPL for teacher. This system will be developed using Android platform for increase portability and accesibility of system. In this development is used metodology Extreme Programming. Then system will be tested using Black Box and Mobile (Android Platform) Compatibility Testing. The result shows that the system is 100% valid and 100% compatible.
