Abstract

Teacher work culture is a key component in achieving educational quality at schools. School principals play a strategic role in shaping and improving productive work culture. This research aims to analyze the principal's management in enhancing teacher work culture at MI Darul Hikmah in Bone Regency. The research method employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings reveal that the principal applied a transformational approach through periodic supervision, motivation provision, and creating a collaborative work environment. Supporting factors include the principal's strong commitment, availability of learning facilities, and positive interactions among teachers. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include teacher tardiness, high workloads with low compensation, and limited learning resources, particularly for the Merdeka Curriculum. To address these challenges, the principal implemented a duty roster system, personal approaches, and encouraged collaboration between senior and junior teachers. Additionally, the principal initiated teacher professionalism development programs through training and seminars to improve teaching quality. Regular evaluations were conducted to ensure the effectiveness of the implemented strategies. The research recommends strengthening coordination, improving evaluation systems, and developing sustainable programs to support productive teacher work culture.

Abstract

Online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic had both positive and negative effects, including online learning for the Dirasah Islamiyah study program, concentration on Education and Teacher Training, Postgraduate at Islamic State University of Alauddin Makassar, so it is necessary to be evaluated. The purpose of this study is to evaluate online learning programs using the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) program evaluation model formulated by Stufflebeam. This descriptive quantitative research used primary data collected from questionnaires from lecturers and students in the Learning Program Evaluation course as a source of informants and secondary data were taken using documentation in the form of Semester Learning Plans, lecture materials, and coursework results. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the implementation of online learning at the Postgraduate Alauddin State Islamic University in Makassar, the Dirasah Islamiyah Study Program with the concentration of Education and Teacher Training had been going well although some parts still needed to be improved such as maximizing the use of the Learning Management System (LMS), clear coordination between fellow lecturers who support courses related to RPS which will be applied for one semester and strict conditioning so that students do their assignments responsibly (free of plagiarism).Pembelajaran daring yang berlangsung selama pandemi covid-19 menimbulkan dampak positif dan juga negative, tidak terkecuali pada pembelajaran daring program studi Dirasah Islamiyah konsentrasi Pendidikan dan Keguruan, Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar sehingga perlunya dilakukan evaluasi terhadap program pembelajaran daring tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi program pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan model evaluasi program Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) yang dirumuskan oleh Stufflebeam. Penelitian kuantitatif deskripstif ini menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan dari hasil kusioner dari dosen dan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Evaluasi Program Pembelajaran sebagai sumber informan dan data sekunder yang diambil menggunakan dokumentasi berupa Rencana Pembelajaran Semester, materi perkuliahan, dan hasil tugas mata kuliah. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini  menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar, Program Studi Dirasah Islamiyah konsentrasi Pendidikan dan Keguruan mata kuliah Evaluasi Program Pembelajaran sudah berjalan dengan baik meskipun ada beberapa bagian yang masih perlu ditingkatkan seperti memaksimalkan penggunaan Learning Management Sistem (LMS), koordinasi yang jelas antara sesama dosen pengampu mata kuliah terkait Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) yang akan diterapkan selama satu semester dan pengkondisian yang ketat agar mahasiswa mengerjakan tugasnya secara bertanggungjawab (bebas plagiasi).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) on students at SD Negeri 1 Centre Pattallassang, Takalar Regency. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, the study involved the principal, teachers from various grade phases, and students as informants. Data collection techniques included participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of P5 has a broad and profound impact on shaping students’ character, such as honesty, responsibility, independence, cooperation, and awareness of diversity. Moreover, P5 promotes the development of 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Project based activities provide students with opportunities to be more active, environmentally conscious, and capable of managing their time and completing tasks independently. The study concludes that the implementation of P5 serves as an effective learning strategy to cultivate students who are intellectually resilient, morally grounded, and socially responsible.

Abstract

The type of this research is ex post facto research with an associative quantitative approach. The purpose of this study was to (1) describe the performance of Islamic education teachers at SMAIT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar, (2) describe students’ motivation to learn islamic education, (3) describe the learning outcomes of Islamic education students, (4) test the effect of teachers’ performance on the students’ learning outcomes of Islamic education, (5) examine the effect of the students’ motivation on learning outcomes of Islamic education, (6) examine the effect of teacher performance and motivation on the students’ learning outcomes of Islamic education. The population in this study were all students of class XI Semester I SMAIT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar Academic Year 2018/2019. The result of the study reveal that; (1) the performance of Islamic education teachers at SMAIT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar is in high category; (2) students’ motivation to learn islamic education is in high category; (3) the learning outcomes of Islamic education students, is in high category; (4) there is positive the effect of teachers’ performance on the students’ learning outcomes of Islamic education by 0,224; (5) there is positive the effect of the students’ motivation on learning outcomes of Islamic education by 0,550; dan (6) there is positive the effect of teacher performance and motivation on the students’ learning outcomes of Islamic education. by 0,554. The multiple regression model to predict the student’ learning achievement in Islamic education subject which influence by theacher’s performance and learning motivation is = 69,645 + 0,023X1+ 0,145X2. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gambaran kompetensi professional dan keterampilan mengajar guru terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PAI di Madrasah Tsanawiyah As’Adiyah Itterung Kab. Bone. Jenis penelitian ini didesain dengan metode penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik di Madrasah tsanawiyah As’Adiyah Itterung Kab. Bone yang berjumlah 64 orang, Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner (angket), observasi dan dokumentasi, dengan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis statistik deskriktif dan analisis inferensial regresi ganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 21. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif bahwa kompetensi profesional guru berada pada kategori tinggi dengan jumlah persentase 90,62% dan keterampilan mengajar guru berada pada kategori tinggi dengan jumlah persentase 89,06%, sedangkan prestasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PAI berada pada kategori rendah dengan jumlah persentase 65,62%. Dari hasil jumlah persentase tersebut didasarkan pada hasil pengujian olah data yang didapatkan dari responden. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik inferensial bahwa kompetensi profesional secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik ditunjukkan dengan perolehan hasil t-hitung=2.137 dan Sig. (0.037<0.05), maka dapat dikatakan signifikan. Keterampilan mengajar guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik ditunjukkan dengan perolehan hasil t-hitung=2.011 dan Sig. (0.049<0.05), maka dapat dikatakan bahwa keterampilan mengajar berpengaruh signifikan. Kompetensi profesional dan keterampilan mengajar guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik ditunjukkan dengan perolehan hasil f-hitung=3.588 dengan P-value atau Sig. (0.034<0.05), maka dapat dikatakan bahwa kompetensi profesional dan keterampilan mengajar guru secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PAI di Madrasah Tsanawiyah As’Adiyah Itterung Kab. Bone. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Profesional, Keterampilan Mengajar Guru, Prestasi Belajar Peserta Didik Dalam Pembelajaran PAI.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Describe the intensity of students' use of the TikTok application at SMA Maha Putra Tello Makassar 2) Analyze the types of content frequently accessed by students at SMA Maha Putra Tello Makassar, 3) Analyze students' religious behavior in using the TikTok application. This study is a quantitative study with an ex-post facto method consisting of three variables, namely two independent variables and one dependent variable and a population of 182 people and a sample of 50 people at SMA Maha Putra Tello Makassar, Data collection in this study used a questionnaire instrument which was analyzed using descriptive and inferential methods. Statistical test results indicate a significant linear relationship between TikTok use and religious behavior. Partially, the intensity of TikTok use and the type of content accessed have a significant influence on religious behavior. The implication of this research is that TikTok use can have a significant impact on students' religious behavior, both positive and negative. Therefore, supervision, digital education, and the promotion of positive content are necessary to ensure responsible TikTok use and promote religious values and morality. Collaboration between the government, relevant institutions, and the community is also crucial to achieving this goal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of authentic assessment in Akidah Akhlak subject. Sub problem, i.e., 1). How is the authentic assessment process on the 5th grade of Akidah Akhlak subject at MIS Makkaraeng Maros? 2). How are the authentic assessment results on the 5th grade of Akidah Akhlak subject at MIS Makkaraeng Maros?? This type of research is descriptive qualitative research—the data collection is from two primary and secondary sources. The research method used interviews, observation, and documentation, while the data analysis techniques consisted of data reduction, presentation, and verification. The data validity technique is in the form of a triangulation technique. The results showed: (1) The implementation of authentic research in the Akidah Akhlak subject at MIS Makkaraeng Maros went well in the authentic assessment process, which prepared the assessment plan, carried out the assessment, and then carried out the assessment process. (2) The results of the authentic assessment have been carried out in three domains, namely knowledge competence (cognitive), attitude competence (affective), and skill competence (psychomotor). All forms of assessment on the cognitive aspect were already to the maximum. At the same time, we carried out the affective and psychomotor aspects, although only on the primary assessment technique. In contrast, supporting assessments, such as self-assessment, peer-to-peer assessment, portfolio assessment, and project assessment, have not been used by the teachers of Akidah Akhlak subject in the 5th grade at MIS Makkaraeng Maros. In conclusion, the Akidah Akhlak teacher has carried out value from the authentic assessment process with different steps in terms of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. This research implies that authentic assessment requires teachers to broaden their horizons and increase their knowledge to carry out authentic assessments with various assessment forms and many students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and supervision of Human Resource Management (HRM) at SMAIT Al-Fityan School Gowa, Gowa Regency. A qualitative approach with phenomenological methods is used to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation from related parties. The results of the study show that MSDM planning involves several stages, such as recruitment through meetings, distribution of pamphlets, file collection, interviews, probationary periods, and announcements. The selection is carried out in two stages: administration and interview. Orientation lasts from a probationary period to basic and advanced training for six months. The placement of educators is adjusted to their expertise in teaching, communicating, mastering technology, and management. Training and development are divided into general and religious training. The implementation of MSDM in this school runs systematically and structured, especially in recruitment, selection, orientation, placement, as well as training and development of educators. Supervision is carried out by school principals, directors, education offices, and international supervisors (intertek). The implication of this study is the importance of more attention from the foundation, especially on continuous professional training and development, to improve competence and innovation in teaching methods. Thus, educators can increase competence, job satisfaction, and better career development opportunities

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal's leadership strategy in improving teacher professionalism in SLB Negeri 1 Makassar City. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation from various related parties. The results showed that principals play an important role in improving teacher professionalism to support quality education for students with special needs. The leadership strategies implemented include specialized training, implementing effective teaching methods and developing an adaptive curriculum according to students' needs. Principals play the role of educator, leader, manager, motivator and supervisor, which is realized in efforts to improve teacher professionalism. Supporting factors include the high level of education of teaching staff (S1 to S3), dedication, discipline, and adequate facilities. The obstacle faced is the lack of competence of some teachers in IT knowledge. The implication is that school principals are expected to be more dedicated in creating a conducive educational environment, routinely monitoring and evaluating the learning process, and improving infrastructure. Teachers are expected to carry out their obligations as educators well, and continue to improve their professional, social, pedagogical and personality competencies to achieve educational goals

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a mangrove plant morphology atlas based on the local potential of the Puntondo Takalar Center for Environmental Education (PPLH Puntondo Takalar) as a supplementary teaching material for the Grade 10 high school Plantae topic that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects comprised 26 Grade 10 students and one biology teacher in a limited trial conducted at a senior high school in Takalar Regency. Data were collected through observation, interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, expert validation sheets, response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the developed atlas included nine mangrove species identified through field observations, presented systematically based on morphological characteristics and distribution locations. The atlas was supplemented with field photographs, identification keys, distribution maps, and observation tasks that support environment-based learning and scientific literacy. Expert validation results yielded an average score of 3.6, categorized as highly valid. The practicality test indicated a positive response rate of 92% from both the teacher and students, categorized as highly practical. The effectiveness test showed that classical learning mastery reached 100%, with all students achieving scores above the minimum mastery criterion (KKM). Therefore, this mangrove plant morphology atlas based on local potential is feasible for use as a supplementary teaching material and has the potential to support contextual biology learning while enhancing students’ biodiversity literacy.
