Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian adalah untuk: 1) Mengetahui hasil belajar biologi peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa Sungguminasa yang diajar tanpa menerapkan model talking stick dengan bantuan media choose number 3) Menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar biologi antara peserta didik yang yang diajar dengan menerapkan model talking stick dengan bantuan media choose number 2) Mengetahui hasil belajar biologi peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 diajar dengan model talking stick dengan bantuan media choose number dan peserta didik yang diajar tanpa model talking stick dengan bantuan media choose number.Dalam penelitian ini merupakan suatu penelitian Quasi Experimental dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII A dengan jumlah 35 peserta didik dan kelas VIII H yang berjumlah 35 peserta duduk. Dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling . Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 nomor. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah analisis statistic deskriftif dan analisis statistic inferensial dengan menggunakan uji-t.Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis statistik deskriptif, dan diperoleh nilai rata-rata dari kedua kelompok tersebut, dengan menggunakan kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan menggunakan model talking stick dengan bantuan media choose number  sebesar 75,58. Pada kelas kontrol  yang diajar dengan tanpa menggunakan model talking  stick dengan bantuan media choose number sebesar 67,41. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis inferensial menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai sign sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari pada α sebesar 0,05 (sign<α) dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak. Jadi terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara model talking stick dengan bantuan media choose number dengan tanpa yang diajar menggunakan model talking stick dengan bantuan media choose number terhadap hasil belajar biologi peserta didik dikelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to 1) describe the application of the learning model of Market Place Activity (MPA) in biology materials and 2) describe the advantages and disadvantages of the learning models. It was a literature study (library research) of the systematic literature review (SLR) type. There were three stages used in this review: 1). Identification. All the articles searched by Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and Academia databases. There were 158 articles found across all databases. 2). The screening process. After screening the identified articles, there were 38 of them. 3). Eligibility. The feasibility determined with the inclusion criteria to achieve five articles. It appears that the application of the learning model of Market Place Activity MPA) can facilitate activities and improve students' biology learning outcomes. Even though the learning model can enhance the student's ability to become active, it is time-consuming. This study suggests that the classroom can run effectively and efficiently if the applied model meets the needs of learning and timing.

Abstract

This study discusses about the teachers performance in optimizing learning in the Full Day school program at SMAN 22 Makassar. This research was qualitative research.  Data collection methods obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The data was analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, verifying data, and validating data (triangulation). The result of the research showed that; the first was the teacher performance at SMAN 22 Makassar has improved such as planning, implementation and evaluation. The second was Full Day school at SMAN 22 Makassar about school schedules based on school rules. The third was Effective efforts to optimize learning are carried out by teachers and schools. The teacherteach the learning to the students, gave some motivation and learning methods. The school helps teachers by school rules, teaching and learning process (PBM picket) and controlled by hand master in the school.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the impact of work motivation on teacher’s performance at the MTsN (State Islamic Senior High School) in Bontotiro District Bulukumba Regency. This research is a quantitative study with the ex post facto method. The participants of this research were 67 teachers from MTsN in Bontotiro District. The method of data collection used was questionnaire then the data were analyzed by using regression analysis to test the research hypothesis. The result of this study showed that: 1) the teacher’s work motivation at MTsN in Bontotiro District was in medium category indicating that the teachers work motivation still need to be improved; 2) the teacher’s performance at MTsN in Bontotiro District was in a medium category indicating that the teacher’s performance was not optimal so it still needs to be improved; and 3) the teacher’s work has significant effect on the teacher’s performance at MTsN in Bontotiro District. Thus, the high strength of the teacher’s performance is determined by the strong of weak motivation it possesses.

Abstract

The problem of this research is on the roles and functions of madrasah supervisors in improving the quality of Madrasah Aliyah in Tanete Riattang district of Bone regency. It’s important to know the understanding of supervisors on their roles and functions in improving the quality of schools, the planning of supervisors in conducting their roles and functions, and the implementation of supervision in improving the quality of Madrasah Aliyah in Tanete Riattang district of Bone regency. This reseach was a qualitative research where the main sources of the research data were the head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bone, Madrasah supervisors, Principals, teachers, and staffs of Madrasah Aliyah in Tanete Riattang district. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through three stages of data reduction, data display, and data conclusion drawing. The results of this research showed that the supervisors’ understanding was monotonous in which the supervisors prepared their programs according to the supervisory standard. In addition, the supervisors merely made a one-time visit to 24 different madrasas which could be considered to be inefffective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need to develop problem solving-based Islamic Cultural History module teaching materials, and 2) analyze the level of validity of problem solving-based Islamic Cultural History module development teaching materials. This research includes development research (R&D) which produces Islamic Cultural History module teaching materials. problem solving based. Based on the results of the study that: (1) based on the results of the needs identification interview, several obstacles were found during the learning of Islamic Cultural History, (2) the results of the validation by the material expert team obtained an average of 3.67 with very feasible criteria and media experts obtained an average of 3, 76 with very feasible criteria, and the practicality of the product is in the very practical category with an average score of 84.0%.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the impact of academic supervision and pedagogic competence on teacher performance at State Junior High Schools in Ulaweng District, Bone Regency. This type of research is ex-post facto research with a positivistic-quantitative approach. Respondents in this study were 56 teachers at State Junior High Schools in Ulaweng District, Bone Regency as a whole through a saturated sample. The data collection method used is a questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed to respondents and then analyzed through inferential statistics using multiple linear regression. The results of this study prove that: Academic supervision partially has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance by 12.8%. Pedagogic competence partially has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance by 10.9%. Simultaneously, academic supervision and pedagogic competence have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance by 23.7% at State Junior High Schools in Ulaweng District, Bone Regency. This indicates that the better the implementation of academic supervision and pedagogic competence, the higher the performance of State Junior High School teachers in Ulaweng District, Bone Regency.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 menuntut keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi meliputi 4Cs (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) sehingga dibutuhkan inovasi pembelajaran salah satunya dengan inovasi LKPD. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping pada materi sistem pernapasan yang valid dan praktis sebagai bentuk inovasi Pendidikan biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian research and development dengan model pengembangan 4D. Produk yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini berupa LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping pada materi sistem pernapasan dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kajian literatur, uji kevalidan dan uji kepraktisan. Instrumen pada penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi untuk mengukur tingkat kevalidan dan angket untuk melihat tingkat kepraktisan produk. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik sebanyak 12 orang. Hasil  pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping pada materi sistem pernapasan yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas dengan skor 3,86 dan tingkat kepraktisan yaitu 3,51 dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid dan praktis sehingga layak untuk digunakan. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu, LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping layak digunakan sebagai salah satu media yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi khususnya pada materi sistem pernapasan.

Abstract

Online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic had both positive and negative effects, including online learning for the Dirasah Islamiyah study program, concentration on Education and Teacher Training, Postgraduate at Islamic State University of Alauddin Makassar, so it is necessary to be evaluated. The purpose of this study is to evaluate online learning programs using the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) program evaluation model formulated by Stufflebeam. This descriptive quantitative research used primary data collected from questionnaires from lecturers and students in the Learning Program Evaluation course as a source of informants and secondary data were taken using documentation in the form of Semester Learning Plans, lecture materials, and coursework results. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the implementation of online learning at the Postgraduate Alauddin State Islamic University in Makassar, the Dirasah Islamiyah Study Program with the concentration of Education and Teacher Training had been going well although some parts still needed to be improved such as maximizing the use of the Learning Management System (LMS), clear coordination between fellow lecturers who support courses related to RPS which will be applied for one semester and strict conditioning so that students do their assignments responsibly (free of plagiarism).Pembelajaran daring yang berlangsung selama pandemi covid-19 menimbulkan dampak positif dan juga negative, tidak terkecuali pada pembelajaran daring program studi Dirasah Islamiyah konsentrasi Pendidikan dan Keguruan, Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar sehingga perlunya dilakukan evaluasi terhadap program pembelajaran daring tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi program pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan model evaluasi program Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) yang dirumuskan oleh Stufflebeam. Penelitian kuantitatif deskripstif ini menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan dari hasil kusioner dari dosen dan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Evaluasi Program Pembelajaran sebagai sumber informan dan data sekunder yang diambil menggunakan dokumentasi berupa Rencana Pembelajaran Semester, materi perkuliahan, dan hasil tugas mata kuliah. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini  menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di Pascasarjana Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar, Program Studi Dirasah Islamiyah konsentrasi Pendidikan dan Keguruan mata kuliah Evaluasi Program Pembelajaran sudah berjalan dengan baik meskipun ada beberapa bagian yang masih perlu ditingkatkan seperti memaksimalkan penggunaan Learning Management Sistem (LMS), koordinasi yang jelas antara sesama dosen pengampu mata kuliah terkait Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) yang akan diterapkan selama satu semester dan pengkondisian yang ketat agar mahasiswa mengerjakan tugasnya secara bertanggungjawab (bebas plagiasi).

Abstract

 The importance of psychological well-being for overseas students affects positive psychological functions that have a positive impact both internally (on themselves) and externally (on their circles). This research is a quantitative approach which aims at finding out the influence of self-compassion on psychological well-being, with loneliness as a mediator among them. There are 160 overseas students in Jakarta, who were selected based on a purposive sampling technique. The data collection applied a psychological scale. The scale used to measure self-compassion was adapted from the Self Compassion Scale-Short Form, and the scale used to measure psychological well-being was adapted from the Ryff Psychological Well-Being scale. The scale used to measure loneliness is called the R-UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3). The data were analyzed using a double regression test. The results showed: a) self-compassion has a negative influence on loneliness by 27% (R2 = 0.2736), b) loneliness has a negative influence on psychological well-being by 30% (R2 = 0.302), c) self-compassion has a positive influence on psychological well-being by 35% (R2 = 0.3587), and d) the influence of loneliness as a mediator of self-compassion toward psychological well-being is 43% (R2 = 0.4358).
