Abstract

THE CONCEPT OF THE HUMAN BODY: FROM THE VIEW OF PHILOS AND SHOPIAAbstract The human body has always been the interesting object of investigation throughout human history. As a topic, the human body covers all areas of concern from various disciplines. In fact, the human body has been treated from so many different points of view. The study was conducted qualitatively with a narrative approach, aiming to take a synthesis of the human body concept briefly, which was examined through philosophy perspective. Belief in our mind compared with mental toughness built by combination of brain and physical are two main different things. Modern philosophy must challenge modern physiology and try united with modern psychology create useful synthesis. This phenomenon would become challenges because scientist have to face the field of science which is full of taboo.

Abstract

Existing technological developments require all fields to be able to adjust to conditions in terms of technology. Several studies related to the use of technology during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia show the unpreparedness of educators to adapt to emergency conditions that demand the use of online and hybrid learning, especially in PJOK subjects. Based on this, the researcher aims to determine the pattern of distance learning carried out by Physical Health and Sports Education teachers in elementary schools in Yogyakarta. Sequential explanatory design is used with quantitative and qualitative research approaches that are carried out sequentially. This research aims to analyze the need to develop learning media that can be used online, offline and in blended learning. The analysis of existing learning patterns shows that most teachers have met the standards of distance learning implementation. However, learning media development on certain materials still needs to be done to support each material delivery activity carried out by the teacher. The survey results show that most teachers still use teaching materials in print or electronic form and existing learning videos. The results of in-depth interviews indicate that there is still a need to develop learning media on athletic activities, self-defense, physical fitness development activities, gymnastics, rhythmic motion, water activities, personal safety, and a healthy lifestyle. With the results of this analysis, it is hoped that it can provide ideas and inspiration for further research in developing learning media, especially Physical Health and Sports Education in elementary schools so that educational goals towards the era of society 5.0 involve various technological developments can be achieved optimally both in emergency and normal conditions.

Abstract

So far there has been no study that has carried out mapping of study programs, facilities and infrastructure including laboratories and health services offered to the community. Judging from the literature review at all Sports Faculties in Indonesia, the aim of this research is to map the potential of sports faculties throughout Indonesia through study programs, laboratories and service facilities so that the potential of sports faculties is known. This research method involves collecting data from libraries and exploring research objects using various sources of library information, such as books, encyclopaedias, scientific journals, newspapers, magazines, and digital documents. The sample for this literature study consisted of 15 campuses that have sports faculties. Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta has the greatest number of sports study programmes among all campuses. UNM offers a sports faculty provided with appropriate and diverse related laboratories. There are five campuses, namely UPI, UNJA, UNIMA, UNDIKSHA, and UNCEN, which provide limited information about their laboratories. Currently, only UNESA, UM, and UNY have virtually identical quantitative measures. Surabaya and Yogyakarta State Universities own the majority of service facilities, while other sports campuses require new facilities to produce financial resources for universities and provide services to the public and academic community. Collaboration among sports institutions in Indonesia is necessary to cultivate proficient sports graduates across different locations. In addition to fostering healthy rivalry among sports faculties to promote their development, each campus should also seek suitable benchmarks based on their unique qualities, ensuring that each sports faculty have distinct advantages. There is a hope to establish sports universities in Indonesia as part of long-term planning.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the active personality habits of student exchange in the Modul Nusantara movement toward their level of participation in sports and the risk of psychological impacts during the inbound activity. This study did not include a review of the Modul Nusantara activity process and lectures based on scientific areas. Methods: This study utilises a quantitative descriptive research design, combining two methods: survey and bibliometric analysis. The primary goal is to identify barriers in engaging in sports among specific students who participate in the Modul Nusantara activity. The participants were selected from a list of 99 student populations. These students were accepted by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta to participate in student exchanges under the MBKM program, which is facilitated by the PMM scheme administered by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. Participants were selected using a population of 85 individuals, including 37 males and 48 females, who voluntarily participated part in generating the information.  The study used questionnaires to assess motives engaging sports activity through exercise barrier questionnaires, as well as bibliometric measurements using digital learning media to verify the effects of obstacle activities on stress, depression, and anxiety levels. Data measurement analysis is conducted using descriptive statistical tests and calculation formulas that are based on the measurement category approach of each instrument, with a particular focus on the psychosocial element. Additional investigation into the association between variables related to barriers to physical activity, in connection to mental factors, including sub-indicators such as depression, anxiety, and stress. Results:  Distinct findings from the distribution of perception to the exercise motive questionnaire revealed that most participants expressed disagreement with the statements in the instrument. However, the second highest response, particularly among inbound students, demonstrated agreement with the 12 indicators of challenge motivations in exercise. Psychosocial aspect data revealed a leftward trend in the distribution of responses. Each question item reflects the individual's condition, with answers indicating experiences at a certain level or throughout a certain period of time, some time, or experiences that do not apply to the subject at all. A thorough investigation of each item related to the correlation between barrier to exercise and psychosocial aspects revealed that variables such as lack of a preferred exercise location in close location, unfamiliarity with the nearest exercise facility, living at a considerable distance from colleagues, a far-off exercise location, preference for activities besides exercise, laziness, lack of motivation to exercise, and insufficient time or minimal time allocation for exercise exhibit a strong correlation (r>0.05; p: <0.05) and a very powerful correlation (r>0.05; p: <0.01) with dimensions of depression, anxiety, and stress. At the same time, weather conditions are strongly correlated with depression and stress. Additional variables, plenty of college assignments (r: 0.298 > 0.05; p: 0.006 <0.05) and insufficient time for physical exercise (r: 0.355 > 0.05; p: 0.000 <0.01) are strongly and significantly associated only with anxiety. In contrast to other variables, lack of exercise among friends and family members proved to be rather unsatisfactory in terms of depression, anxiety, and stress. In conclusion, Objectives xdriving physical activity and exercise among students participating in the Modul Nusantara strongly associated with the likelihood of developing depression, anxiety, and stress. This, in turn, can lead to a decrease in the willingness to engage in physical activity, therefore reducing the chance of impaired immunity associated with mental illnesses.  More extensive study will be expected to explore in greater depth about the ratio of lectures load during inbound in each inbound students, possibilities for physical activity and recreation, and more thorough psychological factors.

Abstract

Background and Study Aim. ACL reconstruction is the surgical replacement of the anterior cruciate ligament with a tissue graft to restore knee function. To avoid problems including edema, loss of range of motion, muscle weakness, poor balance, and recovery of knee function, rehabilitation treatment should be performed after surgery. Immediate implementation of open kinetic chain exercises, use of criterion-based progressions for various activities such as running, sprinting, and plyometrics, and implementation of a secondary prevention program. This clinical practice review is to discuss the parameters associated with the rate of phase repair for ACL repair and to guide therapists according to the parameters of postoperative healing.Material and Methods. The patient presented with a knee brace still in place, swelling and incision marks above the patella, and atrophy of the dextra quadrisep muscle, the patient still had difficulty bending and straightening his right knee, and used crutches to help him walk. The modalities given are massage, electrotherapy (TENS), various exercises (exercise therapy), stretching, and cryotherapy.Results. There are five phases of rehabilitation: maximal protection, moderate protection, minimum protection (initial strengthening), Neuromuscular Control and Functional Training (strengthening-cardiovascular conditioning), and maintenance and Return to Activity (controlled agility-advanced conditioning). These stages are to help reduce swelling, increase joint range of motion, increase muscle strength, and reduce pain.Conclusion. Periodization theory should be fundamentally understood by sports rehabilitation professionals, especially physical therapists and sports medicine physicians. So that a safe and organized postoperative procedure can be established.

Abstract

This study addresses the challenge of price instability in chili markets, which can lead to economic losses and inflation. To mitigate this issue, we propose a machine learning model using Radial Basis Function Neural Networks (RBFNN) to predict prices of various chili variants. Our quantitative approach involves a comprehensive data preparation process, including preprocessing and normalization of time series data collected from 2018 to 2022. The RBFNN model is constructed with K-Means clustering for optimal hidden layer configurations and evaluated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). The results demonstrate promising accuracy, with MAPE error rates below 20% and relatively low RMSE values for large red chili (10.37%, 4484) and curly red chili (14.77%, 5590). Our findings indicate the potential for creating a reliable forecast model for predicting chili prices over 7 days, enabling better supply and demand management. The study's results also suggest that increased training data enhances forecasting accuracy. This research contributes to the development of effective price forecasting models, providing valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in the chili industry.
