Abstract

Background: One of the things that greatly affect the capability and performance of lower trunk and lower extremity is core stability. Core stability is the ability to control the position and movement of the trunk to pelvic used to produce, transfer and control the power and motion to with the final segment of the integrated activities. Method: The study was a randomized experimental design with pre- and post-test control group design. 34 students from SMU Olahraga Ragunan Jakarta students between 16-19 years old which is participating as sample on 6 weeks research on Mei-June 2016. The group was divided into two groups-first group doing tube resistance exercise and second group doing combination of tube resistance exercise and neurac training. Measurement instruments used were kicking the ball into the goal using the method of measurement by Finnoff. Measurements were taken before treatment and after treatment. Result: The mean accuracy of the first group before treatment 9.882 ± 2.11, after treatment 11.058 ± 1:51 after tested with paired samples t-test has increased significantly (p = 0.03). The mean accuracy kick second group before treatment 10,588±3,624, after treatment 12,470±3,184, after being tested with paired samples t-test experienced a significant improvement (p = 0.002). The mean difference in accuracy kick of first group (9.882 ± 2.11) compared with second group (11.058 ± 1:51) tested by Mann Whitney U test has no significant difference p = 0.495 (p?0.05). Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Volleyball is a popular sport that is competitive. In volleyball, the volleyball player must play the volleyball over the net. The physical factor that supports that ability is explosion power of legs muscles. One of the ways to increase the explosion power of legs muscles is plyometric exercise. The exercises that were given in this research were plyometric depth jump and standing jump exercises to increase the explosion power of legs muscles. Purpose: The objective of this exercise is to compare the effect of both exercises for increasing the explosion power of legs muscles. Method: This research used experimental method Pre Test and Post Test Group Design in six weeks and frequency of three times a week. The samples are 22 people who are divided into two groups through ordinal pairing technique. The first group was given plyometric depth jump exercise and the second group was given standing jump exercise. The measurement of the explosion power of legs muscles used jump MD that was measured before and after exercises in every groups. Next, the average result was compared with statistical test of t- paired test. Result: The average of the explosion power of legs muscles pre test of the first group was 39.73 ± 3.74 centimeters and the post test was 55.64 ± 4.03 centimeters are statistically significant (p<0.05). Otherwise, on the second group, the pre test was 39.73 ± 3.58 centimeters and the post test was 51.36 ± 3.85 centimeters are statistically significant (p<0.05). The increasing of the explosion power of legs muscles between both groups are significant (p<0.05). The percentage of increasing of plyometric depth jump was 40.05% and for the standing jump was 29.27%. Conclusion: Plyometric depth jump increased the explosion power of legs muscles is bigger than standing jump exercise for all students on the men’s volleyball extracurricular of SMK Triatma Jaya Badung.Keywords : Plyometric depth jump and standing jump exercises, the explosion power of legs muscles, volleyball.

Abstract

Gangguan keseimbangan merupakan masalah umum pada lansia. Masalah yang akan timbul dari gangguan keseimbangan adalah peningkatan risiko jatuh pada lansia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelatihan 12 balance lebih efektif dibandingkan pelatihan core stability dalam meningkatkan keseimbangan.Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksperimental pre and post test two group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 24 orang yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, masing-masing terdiri dari 12 orang, Kelompok 1 diberikan pelatihan core stability dan Kelompok 2 diberikan pelatihan 12 balance. Pelatihan ini dilakukan 3 kali dalam seminggu selama 6 minggu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengukur keseimbangan menggunakan berg balance scale (BBS) sebelum dan setelah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor rerata keseimbangan sebelum intervensi pada Kelompok 1 sebesar 45,42±4,79 dan Kelompok 2 sebesar 44,92±4,27 dengan nilai p=0,227 (p>0,05) serta skor rerata setelah intervensi pada Kelompok 1 sebesar 50,33±4,43 dan pada Kelompok 2 sebesar 52,67±3,31. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keseimbangan pada Kelompok 1 sebesar 4,91±0,66 dan pada Kelompok 2 terjadi peningkatan keseimbangan sebesar 7,75±1,21. Uji beda selisih dengan menggunakan mann-whitney u test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang bermakna antara Kelompok 1 dan Kelompok 2 dimana p=0,000 (p<0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan 12 balance lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keseimbangan dibandingkan pelatihan core stability pada lansia di Banjar Batu, Desa Pererenan, Kecamatan Mengwi-Badung.Kata kunci : keseimbangan, core stability, 12 balance, lansia

Abstract

ABSTRACTWeight training is one of the exercises needed to achieve physical fitness. This exercise can increase muscle mass and metabolic function of the muscles so that it becomes an important exercise in the condition of the metabolic syndrome. Muscle is the largest hormone-sensitive tissue in the human body, this tissue consumes a lot of oxygen and consumes most of the glucose through the mediation of insulin. Weight training results in hypertrophy or increase in muscle mass and hyperplasia or increase in the number of muscle cells. Various biomolecular mechanisms can explain the hypertrophy and hyperplasia processes including the anabolic mTOR pathway, the catabolic pathway myostatin - Smad and the repair pathway by Satellite Cells. Understanding of the biomolecular process can provide a theoretical foundation in developing a weight training program so that the exercise becomes effective and safe.Keyword : weight training, metabolic syndrom, muscle hipertrophy

Abstract

Dalam pertandingan pencak silat otot perut sangat dilindungi oleh atlet pencak silat, karena perut merupakan daerah seorang atlet pencak silat mencari point serang sehingga atlet pencak silat memerlukan kekuatan otot perut yang baik untuk menunjang serangan dari lawan. Latihan ROC dan PTT merupakan latihan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan otot perut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pelatihan ROC lebih efektif dari pelatihan PTT dalam meningkatkan kekuatan otot perut pada atlet putra peserta ekstrakurikuler pencak silat SMP Negeri 2 Kuta. Jenis penelitian true eksperimental dengan rancangan randomized pre-test and post-test with control groups design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa putra peserta ekstrakulikuler pencak silat SMP Negeri 2 Kuta yang berjumlah 32 orang dan dibagi dalam dua kelompok. Kelompok 1 diberikan pelatihan ROC dan Kelompok 2 diberi pelatihan PTT, frekuensi latihan 3 kali seminggu selama 6 minggu. Pengukuran kekuatan otot perut dapat diukur menggunakan test sit-up selama 30 detik. Hasil penelitian pada ke dua kelompok didapatkan rerata kekuatan otot perut sebelum pelatihan ROC 19,1±3,7 per 30 detik, sedangkan sesudah pelatihan menjadi 24,9±4,4 per 30 detik. Rerata kekuatan otot perut sebelum pelatihan PTT 18,1±3,2 per 30 detik, sedangkan sesudah pelatihan PTT menjadi 20,3±3,5 per 30 detik. Uji beda rerata kekuatan otot perut antara Kelompok 1 dan Kelompok 2 dengan menggunakan independent t-test menunjukan bahwa p = 0,00 (p<0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa intervensi pada Kelompok 1 maupun Kelompok 2 memberikan efek kekuatan otot perut yang signifikan dimana intervensi ROC lebih meningkatkan kekuatan otot perut atlet putra peserta ekstrakurikuler pencak silat SMP Negeri 2 Kuta. Saran pada penelitian ini diharapkan para pelatih dapat memberikan pelatihan dengan tepat dan menggunakan metode monitoring evaluasi untuk meningkatkan pencapaian prestasi atlet. Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan pada permainan yang dilakukan anak-anak. Mereka lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu bermainnya dengan permainan elektronik daripada bermain dengan melakukan aktivitas fisik. Kurangnya aktivitas fisik dapat mengakibatkan perkembangan keseimbangan menjadi kurang optimal, sehingga meningkatkan resiko terjadinya cedera pada anak-anak. Perkembangan keseimbangan selain dipengaruhi oleh kematangan sistem saraf juga dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman dengan latihan pada tugas dan lingkungan yang spesifik. Penulis melakukan penelitian dengan membandingkan latihan Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization dengan Balance Exercise dalam meningkatkan keseimbangan dinamis pada anak-anak. Penelitian bersifat eksperimental dengan rancangan pre test and post test group design. Sampel 28 siswa SD berusia 9-10 tahun dan nilai keseimbangan dinamis <80, terbagi secara acak menjadi 2 kelompok. Kelompok I mendapatkan perlakuan Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Kelompok II mendapatkan perlakuan Balance Exercise. Latihan dilakukan 3x seminggu selama 4 minggu. Alat ukur keseimbangan dinamis dengan Y-Balance Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat peningkatan nilai keseimbangan dinamis pada Kelompok I dengan nilai rerata sebelum 77,52 ± 1,67 dan sesudah 88,85 ± 3,39 dengan nilai p<0,05, (2) Terdapat peningkatan nilai keseimbangan dinamis pada Kelompok II dengan nilai rerata sebelum 77,81 ± 2,03 dan sesudah 86,73 ± 1,69 dengan nilai p<0,05, (3) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada Kelompok I dan Kelompok II dalam peningkatan nilai keseimbangan dinamis dengan nilai p<0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization lebih baik daripada Balance Exercise dalam meningkatkan keseimbangan dinamis pada siswa usia 9-10 tahun di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 11 Sumerta DenpasarKata kunci: dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, balance exercise, keseimbangan dinamis

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Osteoarthritis lutut merupakan penyakit degeneratif yang bersifat progresif, dimana menyebabkan perubahan morfologis khususnya pada tulang rawan. Penderita osteoarthritis cenderung bermasalah dengan fleksibilitas otot hamstring dikarenakan lama osteoarthritis yang diderita sehingga mengakibatkan pemendekan otot hamstring. Pemendekan otot hamstring merupakan kondisi otot yang terjadinya penurunan elastisitas dan fleksibilitas otot atau pemendekan otot, dikarenakan pada saat otot bekerja secara terus-menerus, respon otot lebih cepat untuk membuat otot yang berlawanan terjadinya ketegangan dan pemendekan, serta akan menyebabkan otot yang bekerja lebih sedikit menjadi lemah. Tujuan : untuk membuktikan dalam peningkatan fleksibilitas otot hamstring pada pasien osteoarthritis lutut. Metode : two groups pre and post test design, populasi yang diambil adalah penderita osteoarthritis lutut yang mengalami gangguan pada fleksibilitas otot hamstring di RSUP Sanglah Denpasar Bali. Sampel dari penelitian ini telah dikelompokkan menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling. Total sampel 18 orang dibagi 2 kelompok yaitu 9 orang dalam setiap kelompok. Pada Kelompok I diberikan Terapi ultrasound dengan latihan hold relax dan Kelompok II diberikan terapi ultrasound dengan latihan passive stretching selama 6 minggu dengan 3 kali terapi perminggu. Untuk pengukuran tingkat fleksibilitas otot hamstring dengan menggunakan Chair Sit And Reach Test. Hasil : Berdasarkan nilai Chair Sit And Reach Test sebelum intervensi untuk Kelompok I dengan rerata 26,56±1,50cm menurun menjadi 22,89±1,69cm dan pada Kelompok II data awal dengan rerata 25,67±1,22cm menurun menjadi 22,56±1,13cm. Hasil dari analisis kemaknaan uji T - Independent membuktikan bahwa nilai p=0,631 dimana nilai p>0.05. Bahwa di antara kedua kelompok setelah diberi perlakuan tidak berbeda bermakna pada peningkatan fleksibilitas otot hamstring di RSUP Sanglah Denpasar Bali. Kesimpulan : Bahwa terapi ultrasonic dengan latihan hold relax dan passive stretching tidak berbeda bermakna pada peningkatan fleksibilitas otot Hamstring di RSUP Sanglah Denpasar Bali. Abstract

Swimming with anaerobic conditions in a short distance in the fastest traveling time that is needed to determine the performance students. The results of good performance are the provision of meaningful load on repetition, and the speed of motion measured measuring the distance traveling time certain distance. Reveal that movement training in anaerobic conditions can increase the travel time of breaststroke swimming 100 meters extracurricular students of State Vocational High School 2 Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara.This study used an eksperimental randomized pretest-posttest control group design involving 26 extracurricular swimming students, aged 15-19 years, height, and weight, with a normal body mass index (BMI) with an average of 19.15 ± 0.36 kg / m². The research subjects were divided into two groups, namely the treatment group swimming training in anaerobic conditions 8 x 25 meters repetition, 4 repetitions, 5 sets, 3 times a week for 6 weeks, while the control group anaerobic swimming training 4 x 50 meters repetition, 3 reps, 5 sets, 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Showed that the average trevel time treatment group was swimming training 135.85±4.85 seconds, while in the control group was 134.77 ± 4.23 seconds, t=0.604 and the value of p=0.552. While after treatment, average trevel time the treatment group was 114.23 ± 5.22 seconds, while in the control group it was swimming training 126.08 ± 5.07 seconds t=-5.870 and p value <0.001. Travel times for swimming students were significantly different (p<0.05) between the two groups, movement Training in Anaerobic Conditions can increase travel time for 100-Meter breaststroke swimming style extracurricular Students of State Vocational High School 2 Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara.Keywords: Anaerobic , traveling time, 100 meter breaststroke pool.

Abstract

Background: Mechanical low back pain is pain that resulting from poor posture which cause decreased disability and limitation of lumbar range of motion. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to prove mulligan bent leg raise more effective to increase lumbosacral range of motion and decreased disability than slump stretching among tile craftsman with Mechanical low back pain in Darmasaba village. Methods: This research was an experimental study with pre and post test control group design. Sample of this study is tile craftsman with mechanical low back pain with 20 samples aged 30-55. Samples were divided into two groups, which the first group (n = 10) was given Mulligan bent leg raise, while the second group was given slump stretching. Do exercise 3 times a week for 4 weeks. Lumbar range of motion was measured with modified-modified schober test while level of disability was measured with modified oswestry disability index. Result: Paired Sample T-test in Group 1 and Group 2 obtained p=0,000 that showed in each Group 1 and Group 2 there is significant difference. Independent Samples Test of Group 1 and Group 2 showed the result p=0,000 which mean that there is significant difference in increased lumbar range of motion and decreased disability. Conclusion: Mulligan bent leg raise more effective to increase lumbosacral range of motion and decreased disability than slump stretching to tile craftsman with mechanical low back pain in Darmasaba village.

Abstract

Background: Straight punch or jab punch is one punch in boxing. Jab is a blow provocation done by hand in the front position to distract the opponent. Not infrequently blow jab could be ejected violently. Strength and speed jab is in need to knock out the opponent. Therefore we need the right training. Objective: Training hit by the load and drive pulley with weights aims to increase the strength and speed of the jab and stright punch blow. Method: Experimental research has been done with the design Randomized Pre-Post Test Control Group Design on Student SKO Flobamora Kupang. Total sample of 18 people, divided into two groups and each group of nine people. Group 1 was given training with weights and hit the second group training encourages pulley with weights. Research for six weeks with a frequency of exercise three times a week. speed is measured with a stopwatch, Strength was measured with a hand dynamometer before and after treatment, and the differences were statistically tested. Result: T independent test shows the speed and the strength among the groups before the training did not differ (24.44? 0.882 /5 seconds and power punches 36.44 ? 1,878 kg After training the average speed punch 24.44?0.882 blow before training 21,00± 1,118 blows / 5 seconds and average power punches 33.11 ? 1.900 blows / 5 seconds and average power punches 38.22 ± 1.202 kg. In Group 2 average speed of 33.56?1.590 kg. Average speed punch after training were 29.11 ? 1,364 blows / 5 seconds and average power punches ?Results of paired t-test showed the average speed of a punch in Group 1 before training 21.33±1,118 (p > 0.05) and after training was significantly different (p <0.05) test shows Training hit with loads more increase the strength and speed of the push pulley with weights. Conclusion: Training concluded hit with a load greatly increase the speed and strength of the left and right straight punches instead of pushing a pulley with weights together to give the effect of increased power and speed and a left straight punchright (p <0.05). An increase in one group is better than the training push pulley with weights on the strength and speed of the left and right straight punches. Suggestion: It is advisable to use a hitting training with weights in the training process in the recruitment of athletes, because it gives a better effect.
