Abstract

Kepatuhan minum obat merupakan faktor kunci dalam pengelolaan skizofrenia paranoid untuk mencegah kekambuhan dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien rawat jalan skizofrenia paranoid di RSKD Jiwa Naimata Kupang. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode cross-sectional. Sampel sebanyak 94 responden diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan uji chi-square dan regresi logistik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara sikap keluarga (p = 0,001; OR = 0,189; IK95%: 0,065–0,553), akses layanan kesehatan (p = 0,008; OR = 2,982; IK95%: 1,052–8,463), dan dukungan keluarga (p = 0,001; OR = 6,054; IK95%: 1,765–20,776) terhadap kepatuhan minum obat. Sikap baik justru berasosiasi negatif terhadap kepatuhan, sementara akses mudah dan dukungan keluarga yang baik meningkatkan peluang kepatuhan secara signifikan. Sebaliknya, status ekonomi (p = 0,102; OR = 1,876; IK95%: 0,669–5,259) dan dukungan tenaga medis (p = 0,158; OR = 0,651; IK95%: 0,175–2,419) tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Dukungan keluarga menjadi faktor paling dominan dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan pengobatan.

Abstract

Gizi buruk pada balita merupakan fenomena gunung es yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya deteksi dini dan rendahnya kesadaran orang tua terhadap status gizi anak. Pengukuran Lingkar Lengan Atas (LiLA) merupakan metode skrining sederhana, cepat, dan valid untuk mendeteksi wasting pada anak usia 6–59 bulan, namun presisi dan akurasinya sangat bergantung pada keterampilan pengukur. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan terhadap presisi dan akurasi ibu/pengasuh dalam mengukur LiLA serta kemampuan mereka mengklasifikasikan status gizi anak. Penelitian menggunakan desain Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest pada 40 ibu/pengasuh yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, pita LiLA, dan lembar observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan Wilcoxon (α=0,05). Hasil menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara keterampilan mengukur LiLA dengan kemampuan mengklasifikasikan status gizi berdasarkan warna pita LiLA (p=0,017). Disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan meningkatkan presisi dan akurasi pengukuran LiLA, sekaligus meningkatkan kemampuan ibu/pengasuh dalam mengklasifikasikan status gizi balita secara mandiri.

Abstract

Hipertensi sering dikaitkan dengan penyakit pada orang dewasa dan orang tua, tetapi tren hipertensi diusia muda juga tidak bisa diremehkan. Tekanan darah sistolik tinggi (SBP) yang dimulai pada masa remaja menjadi faktor risiko PTM utama pada remaja dan dewasa. Riskesdas (2018) menyatakan sebanyak 34,11% penduduk di indonesia tercatat memiliki tekanan darah tinggi, sedangkan menurut data Survei Kesehatan Indonesia (SKI) tahun 2023 menunjukkan prevalensi hipertensi pada remaja usia 15-24 tahun sebanyak 9,3 % sementara di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) prevalensi hipertensi pada 15 tahun keatas sebanyak 24,5%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis asupan natrium dan status obesitas sebagai faktor risiko kejadian hipertensi pada remaja di Kota Kupang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan desain penelitian Case Control. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja di Kota Kupang.Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Proportional sampling dan didapatkan 65 kasus dan 65 kontrol. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner, Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square dan dihitung kekuatan hubungan faktor risiko dengan menggunakan nilai Odds Ratio (OR). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan bermakna antara asupan natrium dengan kejadian hipertensi pada remaja di Kota Kupang (p= 0,001; OR =7,12), serta obesitas dengan kejadian hipertensi pada remaja di Kota Kupang (p= 0,001; ATAU = 12.285). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan natrium dan obesitas dengan hipertensi pada remaja di Kota Kupang.

Abstract

Nutritional problems are generally caused by energy and protein adequacy rates, lack of public knowledge about nutrition, balanced menus, and the existence of areas with poor nutrition. Factors causing malnutrition in Indonesia can be seen from direct and indirect causes. The direct cause of malnutrition is unbalanced food intake, which has an impact on children's eating patterns and nutritional adequacy. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between energy protein consumption levels and illness history to nutritional status of toddlers in the working area of ​​Camplong Public Health Center, Kupang Regency. This study is an Observational Analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were 145 toddlers in the Camplong Health Center working area, Kupang Regency and the sample used in this study was 58 toddlers in the Camplong Health Center working area, Kupang Regency. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between food diversity (p-value = 0.031), Energy intake (p-value = 0.045), Protein intake (p-value = 0.045, and History of magic (p-value = 0.009). While for the variable Frequency of eating (p-value = 0.634) showed no relationship. Suggestions for Health Center Officers so that health workers, especially at the Camplong Health Center, increase counseling to parents of toddlers regarding the importance of diverse food consumption, energy intake, and sufficient protein to support optimal nutritional status in toddlers. Education can be done periodically through Posyandu or home visits. For Parents, pay more attention to the quality of toddler food intake, not only in terms of quantity but also diversity and nutritional content, especially protein and energy. Providing balanced nutritious food and preventing disease can help maintain the nutritional status of toddlers

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to grow in children due to chronic malnutrition in the first 1000 days of life (HPK). The incidence of stunting in children can be caused by several factors, namely family income, history of infectious diseases, history of nutritional status, mother's education, parenting patterns, mother's knowledge, and food consumption patterns. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that determine the height coverage of children entering elementary school in Ende Regency. This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional research. A sample of 61 first grade elementary school students was selected using probability sampling. The research was conducted in August 2023-April 2024. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using the chi-square test. The test results showed the disease history factor (p-value : 0.027; ρ maternal knowledge about nutrition (p-value : 0.009; ρ x,y: 0.212; OR : 1.128; 95%CI : 0.003-3.131); consumption patterns (p-value : 0.002; ρ and nutritional status (p-value : 1 ; ρ of elementary school children in Ende Regency.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang disebabkan oleh asupan gizi yang tidak adekuat dalam waktu lama akibat makan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen (eksperimental) yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sikumana Kota Kupang pada bulan Desember-Januari 2021. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 68 orang, sampel dalam penelitian adalah 22 orang yang terdiri dari sampel perlakuan 11 orang dan kontrol sampel sebanyak 11 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan imunitas yang terlihat dari berkurangnya frekuensi penyakit balita stunting yang diberikan asam lemak omega-3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh suplementasi asam lemak omega-3 terhadap peningkatan konsumsi energi dengan nilai signifikan (P=0,046), peningkatan lingkar lengan atas dengan nilai signifikan (P=0,048). Disimpulkan bahwa anak balita stunting yang diberikan suplementasi asam lemak omega-3 dapat meningkat imunitas anak yang diperlihatkan dengan berkurangnya paparan sakit, adanya perubahan konsumsi energi, lingkar lengan atas secara signifikan.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition where iron that brought oxygen, proteins, and hemoglobin in red blood cells that used to burn oxygen to produce energy was decreased. Women adolescents that familiar with anemia possibly will decrease her physical fitness. The objectives of the study were to analyze the relation between anemia, energy intake, and physical fitness among adolescent women. The study was an analytical descriptive study using a cross-sectional study, which is located in SMA Negeri I Kupang. The population was 866 respondents, and samples that taken were 51 persons, using simple random sampling method. The data was collected by using a questionnaire using Sahli method for anemia, Recall data for energy intake, and Harvard step-up test for physical fitness. The result showed that most of the respondents (70,6%) non-anemia, 54,9% of respondents were in well-nourished, and 39,2% had high physical fitness condition. There was a significant relation between anemia (p=0,002) and energy intake (p=0,044) with physical fitness. Suggestions toward (1) health care workers, to be more active in communications, information, and educations, particularly in giving information about anemia and its consequences, (2) adolescent women to maintain their health by consuming healthy and nutrition foods and do exercises continuously.

Abstract

The research is of analytical survey of cross sectional study design. 90 people-school children in SMP Negeri 2 Kota Kupang in this respect, have been randomly sampled. They consist of 39 7th-grade schoolchildren 26 8th- grade school children, and 25 9th-grade school children. Questionnaire has been used to collect data, by all means the respondents themselves fill in questionnare. Each variable under research is tested according to chi square test. The test is used to find out relation between the knowledge of nutrition and the attiiude of school children with the habit of choosing makanan jajanan. The research shows no relations between the knowledge of nutrition and the attiiude of school children with the habit of choosing makanan jajanan; the value of p 0,930 (>0,05) is revealed in this case. Similarly, school children attitude on the habit of choosing makanan jajanan has no relation either. This can be seen in it’s value of p 0,788 (>0,05). It can be conculded then that there is no relation between the knowledge of nutrition and the attitude of school children with the habit of choosing makanan jajanan.

Abstract

Food formula could is easily reserved as usual food for children under five years old. Giving additional food to preschool children can increase body weight and hemoglobin content to prevent the incidence of protein and energy malnutrition (PEM). The purpose of the research is to know the impact of food formula product using mug-bean and fish flour with local red rice and banana as basic food. Factorial experimental design with two-time replications and Randomized Block Design (RBD) as basic design were used in the research. Protein content was analyzed using Kjeldahl methods, and carbohydrate content was analyzed using Shaffer-Somogyi II methods, while fat content was analyzed using extract ether. The result of the research showed that there was a significant difference (P<0.05) and higher protein content on additional 50 grams of mug-bean and fish flour separately compared with an additional 0 and 25 grams of mug-bean and fish flour respectively. While carbohydrate content analysis for additional mug-bean on food formula showed that the additional 50 grams of mug-bean and fish flour separately has a significant difference (P<0.05) and lower carbohydrate content compared with additional 0 and 25 gram of mug-bean and fish flour respectively.

Abstract

Scavengers are group of informal sector workers which require an optimal capacity of physics in completing their activities. Nutrient is one of the most important factors that influence physical capacity in daily activities. The nutrient is needed in maintaining the growth and development of the body and also provide sufficient energy in doing daily activities in order to increase work productivity. The aim of the research is to identify intake and the nutrient status of scavengers at the Alak landfill of Kupang city. The type of the research is a descriptive with the design of cross sectional study. The amount of sample is 37 people taken by means of total sampling method. The result of the research shows that (1) energy and protein intakes have discovered : the frequency of food distribution of most scavengers (56.76%) are in low category and 43.24% are in good category. The type of food consumed by all scavengers (100%) are in less category. The average intake of energy and protein of scavengers are 1656.95 kcal and 24.04 g. (2) Based on Body Mass Index (BMI), most (56.76%) scavengers are in the underweight category and 43.24% are in the normal category.
