Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan penting yang perlu dikembangkan sejak sekolah dasar, namun pembelajaran PKn di kelas IV SD Negeri Ngadirejo 04 siswa belum terbiasa mengemukakan pendapat, menganalisis masalah, dan menarik kesimpulan secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV pada pembelajaran PKN materi gotong royong berdasarkan empat indikator: interpretasi, analisis, inferensi, dan evaluasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek 11 siswa kelas IV, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi tiga pertemuan pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam dengan guru kelas dan tiga siswa, serta dokumentasi Modul Ajar dan aktivitas pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif dengan model Miles dan Huberman melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, disertai triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa secara keseluruhan belum berkembang optimal. Aspek interpretasi dan analisis muncul dalam diskusi dan pengerjaan lembar kerja peserta didik, namun masih terbatas pada jawaban permukaan tanpa alasan yang mendalam dan keterkaitan yang jelas dengan konsep PKn. Aspek inferensi muncul secara parsial dan hanya ketika guru memberi instruksi eksplisit untuk menyimpulkan, sedangkan aspek evaluasi tidak muncul sama sekali selama pembelajaran karena siswa belum terbiasa menilai atau menanggapi argumen dan hasil kerja kelompok lain. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keterbatasan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berkaitan dengan faktor individu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the melodic skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Bratan 1 in singing national mandatory songs. Melodic skills include pitch accuracy, melodic contour, and musical expression, which are related to students' musical intelligence. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects consist of one teacher and 20 fifth-grade students at SDN Bratan 1 Surakarta. Data collection techniques include singing skill tests, observations, and interviews. Data validity is verified using technical triangulation and source triangulation, while data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman model.The study results indicate that students' melodic skills vary. Most students struggle with pitch accuracy and melodic contour, affecting their singing quality. Students involved in the choir tend to have better melodic skills due to regular training. Environmental factors, teaching methods, and the lack of structured music lessons at school also influence the development of students' melodic skills.

Abstract

Abstract. Understanding the content of reading text is one of the language skills included in reading skills. This study aims to describe the ability of fourth grade students in understanding the contents of fictional texts in terms of Barrett's taxonomy theory, developed by focusing on literal comprehension and appreciation comprehension. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students and fourth grade teachers at Soropadan Elementary School. The data collection used in this research was observation, tests, interviews with fourth grade students and fourth grade teachers, and document studies. The data analysis technique in this study used the interactive data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity testing technique uses source and technique triangulation. The results of this study show that the percentage obtained on the literal understanding comprehension is 91.35% and 35.79% on the appreciation comprehension. The results of the study show that students perform better in literal comprehension than in appreciation comprehension.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the ability of profile teachers from elementary schools. The subjects were 14 teachers taken from all the teachers in Elementary Laboratory School of Benguet State University in Philippines. This was a mix methode of qualitative and quantitative research. The instrument used had 15 items with HOT Levels that were comprised of C4 (Analyze) represented in 5 items, C5 (Evaluate) referring to 5 items, and C6 (Create) referring to 5 items. The result of teacher’s ability to analyze is showed by two category, there are: 1) the category based   the subject of teachers, and 2) the category based on the item object questions. The level that could be analyzed by the teachers with the highest percentage of 93,33%. Meanwhile, the lowest percentage that could be analyzed by teachers is 33,33%. While the category based on the object items in C4 level is 77,51%, in C5 level is 58,94%, and in C6 level is 67,41%. Based on the result, it could be concluded that in analyzing HOT questions the ELS teachers could analyze the questions correctly, the ELS’s teachers were classified in the good category in analyzing the HOT science questions.Keywords: HOT (Higher Order Thinking), analyze questions, teachers, and elementary laboratory school

Abstract

Collaboration is one of the 4C skills needed for the development of learning to respond to the interests of students' adaptation to the 21st-century environment. One aspect of collaboration that can be reviewed in learning using problem-based learning in groups is the aspect of working productively. This study describes the aspects of working productively in collaboration skills in class VI students of SD Negeri Setono using Greenstein's perspective, especially in problem-based learning. This research is a type of research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students and teachers of class VI at SD Negeri Setono Surakarta. Collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The Data validity testing technique uses technique and source triangulation. The collected data were then analyzed using the interactive data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study indicate that students can work productively in problem-based learning designed in groups. This can be seen from the emergence of all aspects of indicators of working productively in learning activities. The productivity shown by students is supported by other aspects of collaboration skills.

Abstract

Bernyanyi dalam pembelajaran musik sekolah dasar sering dipahami sebagai aktivitas vokal yang menekankan hafalan lirik, ketepatan nada, tempo, dan hasil penampilan. Padahal, pengalaman bernyanyi juga berkaitan dengan pembentukan keyakinan diri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran pengalaman bernyanyi dalam membangun keyakinan diri siswa pada pembelajaran musik sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Informan utama adalah sembilan siswa kelas V, sedangkan informan pendukung adalah satu guru seni musik. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Colaizzi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keyakinan diri siswa dibangun secara bertahap melalui pengalaman menyiapkan diri sebelum tampil, menggunakan cara pribadi untuk mengatasi kesulitan, mencari bantuan dan dukungan, merasa mampu setelah menguasai lagu, serta mengalami kegoyahan keyakinan ketika lirik atau nada belum dikuasai. Rangkaian pengalaman tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa keyakinan diri siswa tidak muncul secara tiba-tiba, tetapi berkembang melalui kesiapan, usaha menghadapi hambatan, dukungan lingkungan, dan pengalaman berhasil dalam kegiatan bernyanyi. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan bahwa pembelajaran bernyanyi perlu dirancang secara aman, suportif, dan bertahap agar siswa dapat membangun keyakinan terhadap kemampuan dirinya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how game-based learning affects fourth-grade students' problem-solving skills in mixed arithmetic operations. Pre-experimental design with a single group pretest-posttest form is the research approach employed; that is, a design in which observations are made twice: once before treatment (pre-test) and once after treatment (post-test). Prerequisite and hypothesis tests are two types of data analysis approaches. The Nusukan State Elementary School served as the site of the study. The study's sample consisted of 21 pupils from class IV, and it was conducted during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Descriptive data were derived from the pretest results, which had an average score of 38.05, and the post-test findings, which had an average score of 82.67. H0 was rejected while Ha was approved based on the Wilcoxon signed rank test results, which showed a significance of 0.000 <0.05. The researcher can therefore draw the conclusion that game-based learning has a major impact on fourth-grade students at Nusukan State Elementary School's capacity for problem-solving.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the development of character values in grade V Pasar Kliwon 1 Surakarta Elementary School through traditional play songs in Javanese language learning. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with a content analysis approach. The type of content analysis required in this research is sourced from in-depth interviews and archive or document analysis. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and documentation studies. The data obtained from this research through in-depth interviews and documentation studies show that there are three children’s play songs along with the character values contained, namely the Lir-Ilir play song with values of a religious character, responsibility, hard work, and independence. Traditional play song of Gundul-gundul pacul with values of a religious character, responsibility, and independence.  While the traditional play song of Padhang bulan with values of a religious character, curiosity, discipline, and responsibility. Overall, the analysis of the character values in children’s songs that are often applied is the value of religious character and responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of P5 activities of fourth grade students of Bratan 1 Elementary School from a creativity perspective. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and document studies. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of Bratan 1 Elementary School based on purposive sampling subject selection techniques. Data were validated using source and technique triangulation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that students have carried out the creative process stage in P5 activities consisting of preparation, incubation, illumination and verification stages. In the preparation stage, students collect information through various activities such as watching videos, listening to teacher explanations, asking questions, and discussing. In the incubation stage, students reflect on the information they have obtained, reread, and do activities that are not related to the project. In the illumination stage, students begin to find ideas and express them verbally and in writing. In the verification stage, students re-examine the results of their projects and ask for feedback from others.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the problematic implementation of thematic learning for fifth grade students at SD Angkasa Lanud Adi Soemarmo after the pandemic. This research is a qualitative study that uses data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 10 fifth grade students of SD Angkasa Lanud Adi Soemarmo. The data validity technique applied was triangulation of techniques between observation, interviews, and documentation. Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model was used as the data analysis technique of this research. The results of the study show that the problems that occur during the implementation of thematic learning in class V students are less than optimal classroom management, mastery of material when teaching, the absence of learning assessment, differences in the level of understanding of students, lack of involvement and enthusiasm of students, and lack of facilities and infrastructure that are inadequate in the classroom.
