The problem in this research is: the lack of attention some parents of their childrens development because busyness in the works, the researchers raised concerns about: How the role of parents in helping and achieve the cognitive development of children up in Siguhung, Lubuk Basung District, Agam. The purpose of this study describe: 1) The role of parents in helping and achieve the childrens development observations. 2) The role of parents in helping and achieve the childrens development fantasy. 3) The role of parents in helping and achieve the childrens development thinking. This research was a descriptive. The population of this research was all parents who have children up at Elementary School, amounting 43 people. Techniques that used to take the sample was purposive sampling amounting 43 people. Instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. While the percentage of data analysis techniques used. The results of this research revealed that: 1) The role of parents in helping and achieve of children development observations in good categories. 2) The role of parents in helping achieve of children development fantasy was in good category. 3) The role of parents in helping achieve of children development thinking was in good category.

The background this research by professional competence of counsellor in designing service delivery information at school is not in accordance with students needs. The purpose of this research to describe: 1) Professional competency counsellor in service delivery of aspects analysis of the students needs, 2) Professional competence counsellor in preparation program, 3) Professional competence counsellor review of aspects implementation plan and BK program. This research is quantitative descriptive, the population is all students SMP Pertiwi 2 Padang which 397. Techniques used random sampling members of population is 80 people. Results: 1) Professional competency of counsellor in service delivery of aspects analysis the students needs are pretty good category, 2) Professional competence counsellor preparation program are unfavorable category, 3) Professional competence of counselor in implementation plan BK programs quite well category. Based on the results of the study writer suggest to counsellor more active role in preparing the counselee analyze needs and implementation of BK programs, and headmaster to be able to work with teachers in the implementation of BK program at school.

The research based on the finding of the problem in the field like a engaged in a group fight at adolescent in a big city and village. Besides, the counselor (attendant) at the school still less and itâs make the students feel a good person when they do criminal while they know itâs have negative effect and can harm the others. Purpuse of this research to describe; firstly, the eforts of counselor in solve the problem by giving individual counseling service. Second, the eforts of counselor to in solve the probelm by giving approach and individual counseling technique. Third, the eforts of counselor in solve the problem by using pulling something out function in the individual counseling. This research is a descriptive qualitative. The informance in this research is counselor as much two people and support informance as three student at SMK N 1 Padang. The collection of data in the research by doing interview, observation, and documentation. The result of this research is; firstly, counselor always giving positive point of view with client, but is not enough time to communicate with client because the client is reluctance to meet with counselor. Second, counselor giving advice for them and help them to find the solution to change the client attitude. Third, counselor by using pulling something out function in the individual counseling is counselor giving reinforcement, creation and also directive to make students spared from engage in a group fight.

This research is motivated by the implementation of individual counseling services conducted counselor teacher. Based on the initial survey found students still problem and has not appointed its independence after doing individual counseling with counselor teacher. This study aimed to look at how the effectiveness of individual counseling services are performed in the attainment of independence counselor teacher learners, the research problem definition, namely :1) Effectiveness of individual counseling services are conducted on understanding and self-acceptance in a positive and dynamic, 2) Effectiveness of individual counseling services towards understanding and acceptance objectively and dynamic environment, 3) Effectiveness of individual counseling services to the appropriate decision-making, 4) Effectiveness of individual counseling services for self-direction in accordance with the decision taken, 5) Effectiveness of individual counseling services for optimal self-realization. This research is a descriptive study. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling. As the sample of students who have done individual counseling with counselor teachers. Data were collected through filling questionnaires by learners. The data were processed by using percentages. The findings of the study revealed that the effectiveness of individual counseling services are performed in the attainment of independence counselor teacher learners effective.

The study backround because not maximal the coorperation which doing by Counselour and subject teacher and minimize activity of student problem, therefour researcher interested to studiying the form of coorperation between conselor. This study is background because there is existence the problems of education in school can finished by spesific personnel and some issues require cooperation to solve.This type of study is kuantitative descriptive with population of whol of the subject teacher and conselor in SMA N 6 Padang, amounting to 67 people, tools used like questionnaires and analysis data technique that percentage formula, the scale of valuation using scale formula of likert whereas intergrain using interval search formula. The result study showed that : 1) The coorperation of conselor with subject techer to minimize the problems of students learning in SMA N 6 Padang in enough good category. 2) The coorperation of conselor with subject teacher in guiding student to achieve self and feel in efective learning, with good category. 3) The coorperation of conselor with subject teacher in guiding student to know his self situation in optimizing the student perfomance with good category. 4) The cooperation of conselor in guiding student utilizing learning environment with good category.

The problem in this research is: The role of school personnel to attack students discipline offenses in SMK Negeri 4 Padang views of: 1) The role of school personnel to attack students discipline offenses  through a disciplined approach and 2) the role of school personnel to attack students discipline offenses through guidance and counseling approaches. This research is a descriptive. The population was mostly the teachers, amounts 101 people. Samples were selected by purposive sampling technique, so the total sample of 50 people. Data collection by using a questionnaire, in a statistic descriptive with a percentage formula. The research results revealed that: 1) The role of school personnel to attack students discipline offenses through a disciplined approach included in either category, 2) The role of school personnel to attack students discipline offenses through guidance and counseling approach included in either category. Based on the results of the research, the role of school personnel to attack students discipline offenses in SMK Negeri 4 Padang can be categorized either. The authors suggest to all school personnel more attention and improve their performance to achieve the learning process effective and efficient especially to attack student discipline offenses.

Problem of this research aims to describe the Attempts of teachers Counselor handle Discipline problems at SMP Negeri 23 Padang, purpose of the study is 1). Describing of the Attempts of teachers Counselor handle minor Discipline problems students at SMP Negeri 23 Padang. 2) Describing of the Attempts of teachers Counselor handle moderate Discipline problems students at SMP Negeri 23 Padang and 3). Describing of the Attempts of teachers Counselor handle hard Discipline problems students at SMP Negeri 23 Padang.The type of this research is classified as descriptive research. The study population is all students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. This research used stratified random sampling. After obtained it results was found 88 samples. Data analysis used the percentage formula. Results of research conducted can be described as follows: 1) Attempts teacher counselor in handling minor disciplinary problems of students included in both categories with a percentage of 67%.2). Attempts teacher counselor in handling moderate disciplinary problems of students included in both categories with a percentage of 68%.3) Attempts teacher counselor in handling hard disciplinary problems of students included in both categories with a percentage of 63%. From this Researchers hope that further enhance the students discipline in the school environment and teachers seeking guidance counselor also helped learners particular discipline often problematic either problem in the category of mild, moderate or hard.

This research is motivated by the planning guidance and counseling program conduct counselor. Based on the initial survey found a tutor is not planning guidance and counseling programs to suit the needs of learners (need assessment). This study aimed to look at how planning guidance and counseling program conducted by the counselor at the SMP Negeri Kecamatan Mungka Kabupaten 50 Kota, with the limitation of the research problems are: 1) The form of the preparation of planning guidance and counseling program conducted by the counselor views of learners needs 2) form of planning guidance and counseling program conducted by the counselor views of determination means, personnel / division of labor. This type of research is qualitative research. This study takes a guidance counselor at SMP Negeri Kecamatan Mungka Kabupaten 50 Kota as research informants. The Data were collected through interviews and documentation of the planning guidance and counseling program. The findings of the study revealed that planning guidance and counseling program conducted by the counselor is still lacking, due to the lack of existing infrastructure in schools, lack of creativity in finding a tutor learner needs, the lack of instrumentation applications that are used to determine the needs of the students and lack of support from school personnel in planning guidance and counseling program. Based on the research results to the counselor recommended interested parties will be expected to be able to use instrumentation application guidance and counseling to determine the needs of the students in planning a program appropriate guidance and counseling needs of the students, are expected to renew a program that fits the needs of learners every year, and personnel in the school are expected to be working in planning guidance and counseling programs to suit the needs of learners.

Based on observations and interviews that researchers do in the field that information obtained: the learners who behave like stray in and out of class at the PBM process takes place, hanging out in the cafeteria and violated school discipline. The purpose of this study was to describe: 1) The role of counselor in preventing deviant behavior of students in Junior High School 2 Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. 2) The teachers role in tackling misbehavior BK learners in SMP Negeri 2 Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. This research is a descriptive study that systematically describes and actual research about the state of the object. The study population was all students in SMP Negeri 2 Bayang, amounting to 602 people. Techniques used in sampling, is stratified random sampling where the number of samples in each stratum is proportional to the number of members of the population in each class population. So, the total sample of 86 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire while the percentage of data analysis techniques used. Based on the results of the study researchers suggest to teachers BK, in order to provide guidance and counseling services in order to alleviate problems related to student misconduct. Principal participate in support services BK held by BK teachers at school. For guidance counseling courses, as input and suggestions, and to guide future research compiled.

The studentsâ aims to examine the factors that influence smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang, by describing the following factors 1). Factors influence parental attention in smoking behavior of students in 12 high schools in Padang. 2). Factor of peer influence on smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang, 3). Personality factors influence the smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang and 4) tobacco advertising influence factors in smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang. This research is a descriptive study. The study population was all students of SMA Negeri 12 Padang in the academic year 2011/2012 who smokes. Total sampling techniques sampling as many as 36 people. Source of data used are primary data obtained from the respondents surveyed are learners. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. As for the use of data analysis techniques percentage. The results of this study can be described as follows: 1) factors influence parental attention to smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang is included in many categories, namely the average percentage of 68.56%, 2) factors influence the behavior of peers smoking students in 12 high schools in Padang is included in many categories, namely with an average percentage of 68.43%, 3) personality factors influence the smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang is included in many categories, namely the percentage average of 68.44% and 5) factors influence tobacco advertising in smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang is included in many categories, namely with an average percentage of 71.30%. This means that: Factors that influence the smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang included in many categories. Based on the above results the authors suggest to parents and teachers in schools to provide information about the dangers of smoking to the learners.
