Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of education, business motivation, entrepreneurial literacy and digital literacy on the sustainability of culinary MSMEs in Makassar City which is mediated by increasing competitiveness. This study was conducted with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation and questionnaires while sample determination using purposive sampling which is adjusted to the analysis requirements used with a sample size of 180 respondents. The data analysis technique is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS). This study found that the variables of education, business motivation, entrepreneurial literacy and digital literacy have an effect on the sustainability of culinary MSMEs in Makassar City which is mediated by increasing competitiveness. The results of this study serve as a reference that education and business motivation are very necessary in entrepreneurship and business actors also need to increase their knowledge of entrepreneurial literacy and digital literacy for the sustainability of MSMEs, especially in the culinary sector.

Abstract

Pelatihan kewirausahaan untuk anak-anak panti asuhan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kewirausahaan melalui penerapan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni. Program ini mengintegrasikan teori kewirausahaan dengan praktik pembuatan produk dan strategi pemasaran menggunakan teknologi digital. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan manajemen usaha, kreativitas dalam pembuatan produk, dan kemampuan pemasaran peserta. Program ini juga berhasil meluncurkan mini usaha yang memberikan pengalaman langsung dalam dunia bisnis. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan akses teknologi dan variasi pengetahuan awal peserta mempengaruhi efektivitas pelatihan. Ke depan, integrasi teknologi dan pendekatan yang berkelanjutan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil dan mempersiapkan peserta untuk kemandirian ekonomi yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship learning, entrepreneurship knowledge, industrial work practice experience and family environment on entrepreneurial interest either directly or indirectly through self-efficacy as an intervening variable. The population in this study were 3530 students of class XII SMK Negeri Makassar City and a sample of 845 students slovin formula with a standard error of 3% by Cluster Random Sampling method. The data collection method used a questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, path analysis, and sobel test using SPSS and Smart PLS software. The results showed that 1) directly, there is a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship learning, entrepreneurial knowledge and family environment on self-efficacy 2) directly, there is a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship learning, entrepreneurial knowledge, self-efficacy and on entrepreneurial interest, 3) indirectly, there is a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship learning, entrepreneurial knowledge and family environment on entrepreneurial interest through self-efficacy. However, industrial work practice experience is not significant on self-efficacy and entrepreneurial interest of vocational students

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi lingkungan kerja atau kondisi kerja di masa pasca pandemi covid-19 sebagai aspek yang perlu diperhatikan oleh perguruan tinggi karena mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja, motivasi kerja, kepuasan kerja, prestasi kerja dan kinerja dosen. Untuk merespon hal tersebut maka peneliti melakukan penelitian melalui analisis deskriptif dan regresi linear sederhana. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada dosen ASN Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Makassar dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 64 orang. Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor lingkungan kerja fisik yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja dosen di masa pandemi Covid-19. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, lingkungan kerja non fisik X secara keseluruhan masuk ke dalam kategori Cukup Baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja non fisik pada Fakultas Ekonomi UNM (FE UNM) telah berjalan baik sesuai dengan yang diharapkan para dosen tetap di FE UNM. Sementara berdasarkan hasil regresi sederhana variabel Faktor Lingkungan Non Fisik (X) terhadap Variabel Kepuasan (Y) Sangat Kuat. pengaruh variabel Faktor Lingkungan Fisik (X) terhadap kepuasan (Y) adalah sebesar 89 %.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the level of competition and competitive strategies used by culinary businesses in Binamu District, Jeneponto Regency. This study uses qualitative methodology. This study is categorized as qualitative descriptive research based on the existing problems. The research process uses observation, interview, and documentation methodologies. The three processes needed to interpret qualitative research data are data reduction, information presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings show that the strategies used by culinary businesses in Binamu District to increase their business turnover include choosing products that have higher market opportunities, choosing the right and strategic location, setting the right price, and improving service quality. This can be seen from the level of income that tends to increase in culinary businesses and consumers are satisfied with the culinary business offerings that are the case study in this study.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of the times that many tours are found in the Bonto Bahari District area, of course, there needs to be a special strategy carried out as an effort to remain competitive with other existing tours. With the existence of Tanjung Bira Beach tourism, of course, it can have a positive and negative impact on the economy of the people on Tanjung Bira Beach. The purpose of this study is to describe the tourism development strategy in improving the community's economy at Tanjung Bira Beach, describe the impact of tourism development at Tanjung Bira Beach in improving the community's economy, and describe the obstacles faced in developing tourism at Tanjung Bira Beach and the solutions taken. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Tourism development strategies in improving the economy of the surrounding community in the form of adding objects of attraction, developing accessibility, amenity, public facilities, institutions, and the potential that tourism objects already have with facilities and infrastructure that are already owned. (2) The impact of tourism development is income from foreign exchange, additional community income, additional government revenue, opening up jobs, multiplier effects, utilization of facilities by local communities, and no negative impact. (3) The obstacles faced in the development of tourism on Tanjung Bira beach are limited funds, lack of creativity of managers, and lack of cohesiveness or community involvement. The solution is in the form of regular evaluations, and receiving suggestions from visitors regarding development and what needs to be developed again.

Abstract

Effectiveness of using Quizizz media in collaborative learning and instilling it in learning styles and improving learning outcomes of class X-3 students of SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. The methods used are lectures, questions and answers or discussions, and training. The results obtained from using Quizizz media are able to improve students' understanding of economic material, encourage active involvement in discussion groups, and increase students' motivation and enthusiasm for learning. Quizizz has also been proven to be able to accommodate various learning styles and create an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Although there are obstacles such as technical problems and student adaptation to technology, in general the use of this media makes a positive contribution to the process and learning outcomes of students).

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana keluarga petani di Desa Lentu Kecamatan Bontoramba Kabupaten Jeneponto didorong untuk mengambil sikap wirausaha melalui pendidikan ekonomi orang tua. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi pendekatan kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif. Untuk mengetahui lebih jauh bagaimana orang tua pada keluarga petani di Desa Lentu Kecamatan Bontoramba dalam menumbuhkan sikap kewirausahaan, maka penelitian ini akan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data secara berkala. Temuan: Orang tua menerapkan dua jenis pola pendidikan ekonomi: otoriter, yang menerapkan peraturan keras, hukuman, dan paksaan sesuai dengan keinginan orang tua, dan demokratis, yang memungkinkan kemandirian dengan tetap menjaga pengawasan orang tua. Penolakan orang tua untuk membantu pekerjaan karena anak lebih suka bermain dan perselisihan antar anggota keluarga menjadi hambatan bagi orang tua untuk menginternalisasikan pendidikan ekonomi di rumah: 1. Untuk Pemerintah Desa Lentu agar lebih mendukung dan memfasilitas para petani agar dapat berkembang. Selain itu dengan memberikan pelatihan sehingga dapat membantu desa lebih berkembang dan maju. 2. Untuk para orang tua sudah sewajibnya mengajarkan anak-anaknya mengajarkan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan sedari dini, agar anak-anak mendapatkan pengalaman dan menjadi cukup mandiri untuk menjalankan bisnis keluarga ketika mereka besar nanti. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pendidikan ekonomi penting untuk keberlanjutan pergerakan ekonomi masyarakat Jenepento, meskipun terkadang pola yang diajarkan otoriter dan mengikat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of applying blended learning on students' learning motivation in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 20 Pangkep. The research method in this research is quantitative method, and the data collection method in this study is through observation, documentation and questionnaires or questionnaires. The number of samples in this study were 95 from 129 students majoring in Social Sciences with grade X and grade IX at SMA Negeri 20 Pangkep and then analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is a significant influence in the application of the blended learning on students' learning motivation in economic subjects at SMA Negeri 20 Pangkep. The simple linear regression equation shows the effect of the application of the blended learning learning method on students' learning motivation in economic subjects at SMA Negeri 20 Pangkep has a positive influence, and the magnitude of the influence of the application blended learning on students' learning motivation in economics subjects in SMA Negeri 20 Pangkep, amounted to 41.1% while 58.4% was influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in fostering entrepreneurial characteristics among Vocational High School (SMK) students through entrepreneurship learning. The background of this study lies in the high unemployment rate among SMK graduates, indicating a gap between vocational education objectives and labor market demands. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s interactive model. The findings reveal that teachers play strategic roles in three main dimensions: motivators, facilitators, and role models. As motivators, teachers inspire entrepreneurial interest through motivational stories and direct encouragement. As facilitators, they provide experiential learning such as project-based learning and small business simulations. As role models, teachers with real business experience act as authentic examples for students. However, the study also identifies structural challenges, including limited practice facilities, low parental support, and weak collaboration with industry. The results highlight that entrepreneurship education should not only focus on cognitive knowledge but also emphasize attitudes, values, and entrepreneurial skills. Practically, this study recommends stronger collaboration between schools, government, parents, and industry to reinforce the entrepreneurship education ecosystem in vocational schools.
