Abstract

Budi Kemuliaan Hospital for Women and Children (RSIA) faced a problem in their patients’ satisfaction and loyalty. A study was needed to find a solution that increases the patients’ satisfaction and loyalty by using the marketing mix strategy. The purposes of this study were to 1) analyze the effect of the marketing mix (7P) on the elderly patients’ satisfaction of RSIA Budi Kemuliaan; 2) analyze the effect of the elderly satisfaction on their loyalty; 3) analyze the elderly patients’ satisfaction and loyalty level at Budi Kemuliaan Hospital for Women and Children; and 4) analyze the managerial implications to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty towards Budi Kemuliaan Hospital for Women and Children. Data analysis used SEM LISREL. The results showed that the elderly patients’ satisfaction and loyalty were affected by marketing mix variables, namely price, person, process, and physical evidence. Other results found that elderly patients’ satisfaction influenced patient loyalty. The managerial implications implied that Budi Kemuliaan Hospital for Women and Children needed to improve the overall service tariff rate; Administrative services; Suitability of patient waiting time; and Complete facilities (wi-fi, AC, TV, etc.) to increase their patients’ satisfaction and loyalty with regards to the marketing mix. Keywords: marketing mix, patient satisfaction, patient loyalty, rsia budi kemuliaan Abstrak: Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak (RSIA) Budi Kemuliaan menghadapi masalah penurunan kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan analisis strategi bauran pemasaran yang tepat untuk mendorong peningkatan kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien RSIA Budi Kemuliaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Menganalisis pengaruh bauran pemasaran (7P) terhadap kepuasan pasien lama di RSIA Budi Kemuliaan; 2) Menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan terhadap loyalitas pasien lama di RSIA Budi Kemuliaan; 3) Merumuskan implikasi manajerial yang dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas konsumen terhadap RSIA Budi Kemuliaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode survei dengan pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner berbentuk skala likert. Jumlah sampel diambil dengan teknik convenience sampling sebesar 225 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel bauran pemasaran yang memengaruhi kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien adalah harga (price), orang/pelaku (people), proses (process), dan bukti fisik (physicalevidence). Hasil lain menyatakan bahwa kepuasan pasien memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap loyalitas pasien RSIA Budi Kemuliaan. Implikasi manajerial dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa RSIA Budi Kemuliaan perlu menekankan perbaikan pada indikator besarnya tarif pelayanan secara keseluruhan; Pelayanan petugas administrasi; Kesesuaian waktu tunggu pasien; dan Kelengkapan fasilitas (wi-fi, AC, TV, dll) untuk dapat mendorong peningkatan pengaruh bauran pemasaran terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien. Abstract

In every stage of human lives as well as later adulthood (elderly), there are developmental tasks to be attained and demand the elderly to adapt to various changes both from the internal and external environment. The aim of this research was to analyze the influence of ageism and generativity on the developmental task of elderly widower and widow. The cross-sectional study was used as the design of this research. The research was conducted in Empang Village, South Bogor Sub-District and West Cilendek Village, West Bogor Sub-District, Bogor City. As many as 60 persons were involved as research sample, consisted of 30 elderly widowers and 30 elderly widows which were chosen by snow-ball techniques. The result showed that there was no significant difference in developmental task of elderly widower and widow. The category of ageism was low while generativity and developmental task were moderate. There were significant positive correlations and influences of the length of education and generativity on developmental tasks of elderly widower and widow.

Abstract

Stress can hinder academic success, especially for married women student because stress can decreased energy and motivation to do college activities and household tasks, therefore it is important for the students to avoid stress in order to have a good achievement at academic. This research aims to analyze the influence of individual characteristics, family characteristics, stressors, social support, coping strategies, and stress towards the married women students life satisfaction. The object of this research are post graduate women students of Bogor Agriculture University. Data collection is done using self-report method to 100 women married students. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression test and corellation test. The most stressor came from itself,  instrumental support was the most accepted among social support, most applied strategy in coping is the problem-focused strategy, the highest life satisfaction was life full of meaning and responsibility. Life satisfaction of married women students was influenced significantly positive by coping strategies and significantly negatif by stress.

Abstract

Learning motivation is the the driving force in adolescent to study diligently for reaching the good learning outcomes. This research aimed to analyze the influence of mother’s parenting style and sibling relationship to learning motivation of youngest child adolescent. This research was conducted in SMPN X Dramaga Bogor to sample as many as 60 youngest child adolescent (30 boys and 30 girls) aged 13-15 years. Authoritative mother's parenting style, warmth, and learning motivation on youngest child adolescent girls better than youngest child adolescent boys. Mother age and birth spacing were negatively correlations with learning motivation of youngest child adolescent while, authoritarian mother’s parenting style, authoritative mother’s parenting style, warmth and relative power were positively correlations with learning motivation of youngest child adolescent. Learning motivation influenced by mother age, authoritative mother’s parenting style, relative power, and conflict.

Abstract

The success of elderly life is characterized by the comforting conditions of loving care and attention from family and relatives, health and happy. This study aimed of this research are to determined the different, correlation and effect of communication with children and children in law and social support to success of life on elderly men and women. This research sample are choosen purposively as many as 60 young elderly aged 60-69 years old which is divided into 30 elderly men and 30 elderly women who still have a partner, children and children in law. The largest proportion of elderly on variabel communication elderly-children, communication elderly-children in law, social support and successful in elderly is in the medium category. Communication elderly-children and communication elderly-children in law has a significant positive correlation with social support. Social support is related and has a significant positive effect on the success of elderly life ,it mean that the higher social support will increase the success of elderly life

Abstract

The family of the launching stage is a family when the children start leaving home. This research aims to analyze the effect of the level of anxiety and interaction into family harmony of launching stages in the regency and city of Bogor. Respondents in this study were wives from launching stage families with 60 respondents from regency areas and city areas. Respondents were selected for purposive sampling. Data was collected through interviews, then analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed the anxiety level of wives is in the normal category. Family interaction in the middle category. Meanwhile, family harmony in a higher category. Overall, the length of the wife's education, the duration of her husband's education, per capita income, and family interaction had a significant positive relationship with family harmony and the level of anxiety had a significant negative relationship with family harmony. This study found that husband-wife interaction and parent-child interaction has a significant effect on family harmony.

Abstract

Decrease in physical or biological conditions that occur in the elderly will result in disruption of various organs of the body so that it can cause chronic disease in the elderly. Chronic diseases can have an impact on increasing stress and life satisfaction in the elderly. This study aims to analyze the effect of coping strategies and religiosity on the life satisfaction of elderly men and women with chronic disease. The design used in this study is a cross sectional study at Medika Dramaga Hospital, Bogor Regency. Examples in the study amounted to 60 people who had chronic diseases, had suffered for more than six months and were selected by accidental sampling technique. The results showed no difference between coping strategies, religiosity, and life satisfaction of elderly men and women with chronic disease. The duration of an elderly person suffering from a disease is positively related to coping strategies. Religiosity and the duration of the elderly suffer from diseases are significantly positively related to life satisfaction. Elderly people who are still working in old age will reduce their life satisfaction. The longer the elderly suffer from chronic diseases and the higher the religiosity of the elderly, the life satisfaction of the elderly will increase.

Abstract

Pandemics not only can facilitate a special space for husband-wife and child relationships but also a significant stressor for most husbands and wives and children. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between family characteristics and husband-wife interactions during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a cross-sectional study design and conducted in June-November 2020. The respondent in this study was a wife from an intact family who has elementary school–senior high school-age children (SD-SMA). The number of respondents in this study was 452 respondents. Data collection in this study was carried out using google form. Based on the research result, the highest means of index owned by the love dimension and the smallest index owned by respect's dimension. There are significant differences between HEL wife and LEL wife in love dimension, respect dimensions, and a total of husband-wife interaction. The correlation test shows that there is a significant negative correlation between husband's age, wife's age, and the number of children with husband-wife interaction. Furthermore, the correlation test also shows that the husband's income positively correlates with husband-wife interaction. This study concludes that women's higher education and husband's high income can make husband and wife interaction better.

Abstract

Adolescent is a transition period with developmental tasks of gaining a social role and emotional freedom from parents, but adolescent still cannot control themselves well. This study examines gender differences between boys and girls in parents socialization method, self control and their influence on manners character of adolescence. This study used a cross-sectional research design. A diverse sample of junior high school students (n=187; 87 boys and 100 girls) were selected considering proportionate random sampling method to answer survey using questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS 16.0. Findings of this study suggest that parents socialization method (ρ = 0.323) and self control (ρ=0.401) have positive effects on manners character of adolescence.

Abstract

Character education can be applied through various methods, including the internalization of values and character habituation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of adolescents and families, family values, and character habituation; analyze the influence of adolescent and family characteristics, family values, on habituation of adolescent characters. Respondents in this study were 200 people with translation; 100 junior and senior high school students in the Sukmajaya Depok area, and mothers of these teens who work. Location selection uses purposive, and respondents are selected by random sampling. The results of the analysis state that the highest family value internalized by working mothers in adolescents is the value of humility. Conversely, a low value is the value of family recognition through achievement. Another finding based on Partial Least Square analysis shows that family values that have a significant positive effect on adolescent character habituation are self-control and emotion (p=0.029, t1,96). While family values that have a significant negative effect are family recognition through achievement (p=0.000, t1,96), and humility (p=0.042, t1,96).
