Abstract

Education in pesantren does not stop as a transfer activity of science only. Azyumardi Azra mentions, besides being a transfer of knowledge, pesantren also as a cadre of scholars' and as preserver of Islamic culture. The challenge of pesantren education today is globalization that can bring positive and negative impacts. The principle of pesantren is al muhafadzah 'ala al qadim al shalih, wa al akhdzu bi al jadid al ashlah, that is to maintain a positive tradition, and to balance with taking positive new things. Problems related to civic values will be addressed through the principles held by pesantren. Pesantrens should also make effective, efficient, and equitable reshuffling as human beings (al musawah bain al nas) Pendidikan di pesantren tidak berhenti sebagai aktifitas transfer ilmu saja. Azyumardi Azra menyebutkan, selain sebagai transfer ilmu, pesantren juga sebagai kaderisasi ulama' dan sebagai pemelihara budaya Islam. Tantangan pendidikan pesantren saat ini adalah globalisasi yang dapat membawa dampak positif maupun negatif. Prinsip pesantren adalah al muhafadzah ‘ala al qadim al shalih, wa al akhdzu bi al jadid al ashlah, yaitu tetap memegang tradisi yang positif, dan mengimbangi dengan mengambil hal-hal baru yang positif. Permasalahan-permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan civic values akan bisa dibenahi melalui prinsip-prinsip yang dipegang pesantren selama ini. Pesantren perlu juga melakukan perombakan yang efektif, berdaya guna, serta mampu memberikan kesejajaran sebagai umat manusia (al musawah bain al nas).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a multicultural-based Islamic religious education learning model to develop students’ religious tolerance in Lampung and Banten Provinces. This study employed the research and development design. The research data was obtained by employing questionnaires and observations. The questionnaires and observations were administered to thirty-six Lampung University students as the experimental class and thirty-six Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University students as the control class. The data were analyzed using gain analysis and independent sample t-test. This study produced a multicultural-based Islamic religious education learning model to develop students' religious tolerance attitudes in the Provinces of Lampung and Banten. There were differences in the radicalism attitude of students who used and those who did not use the developed multicultural-based Islamic religious education learning model in Lampung and Banten Provinces. It is suggested for further researchers to apply a multicultural learning model in Islamic religious education at the elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels.

Abstract

Local  wisdom  contained  in  some  groups  /  minorities  or  indigenous  communities  in Indonesia contains a lot of cultural values  of the nation are still going strong into the identity of the character of their peoples. But on the other hand, the value of local knowledge is often overlooked,  because  they  do  not  correspond  with  the  development  era.  In  fact,  from  such wisdom could be promoted noble values which can be used as a model in the development of Indonesian culture. In this case the local wisdom of indigenous Sunda "Ngalaksa" Tarawangsa as  for  the  implementation  of  this  ceremony,  set  a benchmark wearing the national calendar that  always  falls  in  July,  while  the  determination  date is usually the result of an agreement between  the  local  government  and  community  elders  elements  that  will  hold  the  ceremony ngalaksa. Day ceremony, calculated and determined based on market day. The highlight of the event, the day 7, which must occur on the day kliwon market.Ceremony  "Ngalaksa"  held  within  the  framework  of  an  expression of gratitude to the Almighty  for  the  crops  that  have  been  acquired,  and  to  preserve  the  customs  of  society Rancakalong as the preservation of art and cultural heritage. "Ngalaksa a culture that contains the  value  of  the  noble  nation  that  really  needs  to  be  developed  in  order  to  strengthen  the nation's  identity  and  personality,  as  well  as  being  the  driving  government  programs  in  all fields".  Ngalaksa  culture  is  accompanied  by  music  Tarawangsa  and  jentreng,  stringed instrument similar fiddle and harp.The  values  of  character  education  that  can  be  taken  on  a  ceremonial  ngalaksa tarawangsa  on  society  Rancakalong,  is  tolerance,  democracy,  daring,  discipline,  hard  work, creativity, responsibility,  relegius,  environmental  care,  social  care,  the  national  spirit  and patriotism.

Abstract

Pesantren is an educational institution that cannot be separated from religious scholars as a figure of a leader. Progress or setbacks of Pesantren is determined by figure of Kyai as a central figure in the boarding school. Thus, Pesantren and Kyai have a relationship of mutual influence. Pesantren is able to develop due to figure of Kyai who can lead well. Conversely, if Pesantren did not develop, it means that Kyai cannot lead well. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this reaserch is to develop teaching materials consisting of pictorial bilingual modules using Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) on set material and to research the effectiveness of the product being developed. The research used in this research is Research and Development using ADDIE models consisting of motion sickness Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This study was declared valid and feasible to be used as teaching material for mathematics learning by 3 material experts who obtained an average score of 3,72 in the "valid" category and 3 media experts with an average score of 3,71 in the "valid" category and 3 language experts with an average score of 3,65 with the category of "Valid" with each maximum score of validity is 4. With the test of attractiveness of teaching materials determined "Very Attractive" by a small group test of 9 students by agreeing to the average score average of 3,65 and a large group test of 29 students with approval of an average value of 3,68. The results of the assessment using testing the effect size with an approval score of 0,50 with the category "Effective Enough". So it can be concluded that the development of teaching materials produced is declared feasible and effective enough and can be used as teaching materials in learning mathematics. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa modul bilingual bergambar dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada materi himpunan serta mengetahui keefektifitasanproduk yang dikembangkan. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahResearch and Development menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan secara keseluruhan sebagai bahan ajar pembelajaran matematika oleh 3 ahli materi yang memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 3,72 dengan kategori “valid” dan 3 ahli media dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 3,71 dengan kategori “valid” serta 3 ahli bahasa dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 3,65 dengan kategori “Valid” dengan masing-masing skor maksimal kevalidan adalah 4. Sedangkan uji kemenarikan bahan ajar dinyatakan “Sangat Menarik” oleh uji kelompok kecil terhadap 9 orang peserta didikdengan perolehan skor rata-rata sebesar 3,65 dan uji kelompok besar terhadap 29 orang peserta didik dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,68. Hasil penilaian uji efektivitas dengan menggunakan rumus effect sizedengan perolehan skor sebesar 0,50 dengan kategori “Cukup Efektif”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pengembangan bahan ajar yang dihasilkan dinyatakan layak dan cukup efektif serta dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

This article reports a classroom study examining whether Arabic song media can improve Grade-X students’ listening skills and vocabulary mastery. Drawing on a descriptive qualitative design with two iterative cycles (Plan Act Observe Reflect), the study was implemented in one intact class (n = 29) at a private senior high school. Data sources comprised observation fieldnotes, lesson artefacts (tests, rubrics), and teacher student feedback across cycles. Baseline assessment showed only 7 students meeting the minimum criterion in listening and 12 in vocabulary. After Cycle I, the number of students meeting the criterion rose to 19 (≈65%) for listening and 17 (≈59%) for vocabulary; after Cycle II, gains reached 26 (≈90%) and 25 (≈86%), respectively. Pedagogically, improvements were associated with explicit objectives, focused listening tasks, and iterative feedback; practically, song media increased engagement and supported repeated, meaningful exposure to target lexis. The study concludes that Arabic songs, when embedded in clear task designs and continuous feedback, can deliver substantial short-term gains in listening and vocabulary for Grade-X learners. Limitations include the single-class scope and lack of a control group; implications and future directions are outlined.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development process, feasibility, response, and effectiveness of soft skills-based video game learning media in mastering mufrodat. This research is a type of development research (R&D). By using the five steps of the ADDIE development model, namely 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, questionnaires and tests. The research data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. This research results in a soft skill-based video game Learning Media for mufrodat acquisition. Based on the validation that has been done by material and language experts, media experts and 8th-grade Arabic teachers, the average score is 4.63 with the category "very feasible". Based on the small group trial, the average score was 4.47, and in the large group, the average score was 4.61 with the interpretation of "very good" feasibility. In the pretest results of students' mastery of mufrodat, the average result was 42.44, and the average posttest score after using the developed media was 88.09. Thus, the soft skill-based video game learning media is feasible and effective for learning mufrodat of grade VIII students.

Abstract

Arabic textbooks play a very important role in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic primary schools) in language acquisition and understanding the religious and cultural aspects of Arabic. This research examines the role of Arabic textbooks in the learning process, teaching practices, and curriculum implementation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes various themes, such as textbook content, conformity to the curriculum, and student engagement. The results show that Arabic textbooks support the development of students' basic language skills, but lack interactive exercises and variations in assessment. To maximize their effectiveness, textbooks should be combined with innovative teaching strategies and continuously adapted to evolving educational needs. A well-designed textbook, together with diverse teaching methods, can improve student learning outcomes. Future research is recommended to focus on developing textbooks with modern pedagogical approaches that involve feedback from teachers and students, in order to increase relevance and engagement. Overall, Arabic textbooks have a vital role to play in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, but their impact can be optimized through continuous improvement of teaching design and practice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of the Head of the Madrasa after the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method uses a phenomenological qualitative research approach and information data collection techniques research is carried out using interview techniques, observation (observation), and documentation. The instrument used is in the form of a list of interview questions, furthermore, in this research, guaranteeing the reliability of the data obtained is checking the validity of the data, which is carried out based on certain criteria. These criteria are the degree of trust/credibility, transferability, dependency/dependability, and certainty/confirmability. Data analysis in the Miles and Huberman model can go through three main processes, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show a). Environmental Analysis in managing East Lampung MIN after the Covid-19 pandemic, East Lampung MIN analyzed the madrasa's internal and external environment using Swot analysis. Then, madrasas used power strategy, persuasive strategy and normative re-education strategy by involving stakeholders, including the Ministry of Religion, supervisors, madrasa heads, teachers and parents and guardians of students to determine the next work program. b). The formulation of a post-pandemic strategy for East Lampung MIN was formulated or developed a strategy based on the policies of the Ministry of Religion and Permendiknas No. 19 of 2007. It was adjusted to the school's vision, mission and goals that had been prepared according to the East Lampung MIN work plan. c). The implementation of the MIN management strategy after the Covid-19 pandemic, based on the formulation of a strategy prepared according to the East Lampung MIN work plan, was divided into each short, medium and long-term programs. d). Evaluation of the East Lampung MIN management strategy after the Covid-19 pandemic, including direct observation and supervision, e). Strategy-based Management Development. Model character education can be applied to madrasas after the Covid-19 pandemic because it focuses on restoring teacher character and building student character through habituation from the components in the management strategy itself.

Abstract

Bahasa Arab memiliki peran sentral dalam agama Islam, khususnya dalam Al-Quran dan kegiatan keagamaan. Pondok Pesantren Al Mujtama' Al Islami Karang Anyar Lampung Selatan, sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam, menghadapi tantangan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang sering dilakukan secara konvensional dan kurang interaktif. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan minat santri, tim PKM mengembangkan buku Dars bahasa Arab interaktif model Al-Arabiyah Baina Yadaik. Ada 5 orang guru yang dibimbing dalam kegiatan ini dengan 3 kali pertemuan. Buku ini dirancang untuk memenuhi standar kualitas dengan empat komponen utama: keterampilan berbicara, penerapan qawaid bahasa Arab, keterampilan membaca, dan keterampilan menulis. Dengan dukungan Pondok Pesantren Al-Mujtama’ Al-Islami, buku ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab, memberikan kontribusi positif pada keterampilan mengajar guru, dan menjadi sumber belajar mandiri bagi santri di dalam dan di luar kelas.
