Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the result of increased student learning material optical devices through the implementation of cooperative learning modelpeer lessons in MTsN Andalan Pekanbaru. Samples are VIII.9 class as an experimental class and the class as a class VIII.2 controls. The study was conducted in MTsN Andalan Pekanbaru from March to May 2016, for 3 months. This research was Quasi Experimental design using the pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection instrument in this study was pretest and posttest cognitive learning outcomes that are 20 questions. Data were analyzed descriptively include absorption, the effectiveness of learning, mastery learning, and improved learning outcomes. Analysis of the data after learning the implementation of cooperative learning model peer lessons got good results. The average absorption in class experiments using peer application of lessons is 80.71% effective with the category average of 80% completeness study with very good categories, and improved learning outcomes by 0.66 in the medium category. Therefore peer lessons cooperative learning model effectively used in learning and can improve student learning outcomes in the material optical instruments in MTsN Andalan Pekanbaru.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Peer Lessons, Cognitive Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the increase of student’s self-efficacy in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru by applying the TANDUR strategies on subject Temperature and Heat. The research was conducted in SMAN 14 Pekanbaru precisely in February 2016 to June 2016. The form of the research is one group pretest-posttest design. The research instruments used include: (1) questionnaires of self-efficacy, and (2) observation sheet self-efficacy. Data analysis is conducted by using Gain self-efficacy through questionnaires given to the students of class X3 before and after the implementation of TANDUR strategies. The observation is conducted by observing the students on every meeting. The results of this research: (1) After the implementation of the TANDUR strategies, self-efficacy of students has increased based on questionnaire score obtained gain value 0,30; (2) based on the observation values increased from 55,68% to 74,05% in the medium category. The result of this research indicate that the results of questionnaires and observations can be concluded that the implementation of TANDUR strategies that have been applied to the class X3 SMAN 14 Pekanbaru can be improve the self-efficacy of the students in the learning of physics.Key Words : TANDUR strategies, self-efficacy, temperature and heat.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the validity of the design of physics learning devices based on the model of problems posing based on the 2013 curriculum on class XI grade wave materials developed. The type of research used is Research and Development (R & D) with 4D model covering define, design, develop and disseminate stage. In this research is done until develop stage. Data collection was done through validation of learning device assessment sheet by 5 validators, consisting of 3 physic education lecturers and 2 physics teachers. Instrument validity of development learning made consist of RPP validation instrument, LKPD and test of learning result. Validation is done two stage that is validation phase I and validation phase II. The results of validation of learning devices of phase I get an average value of 2.52 with high category. The results of validation of learning devices of stage II obtained an average value of 3.2 with high kategoti. Learning devices have been conducted small-scale trials to teachers and students with obtaining very high category validity. Based on the above, the validity of physics learning device model problem posing based on curriculum 2013 on class XI SMA at wave material declared valid and suitable for use in learning process at school.Keywords: Learning devices , problem posing model, matterial wave

Abstract

Abstract: This study attempts to described conversation skills students after implementing learning active type Everyone is a Teacher Here (ETH). The kind of research used is quasi experiment, to a draft one-shot case study. The subject of study this is a student VIIA amounted to 28 students. Design this research are those in small quantities given treatment / the treatment is as the independent variable, and the result is as variable dependent ), and then observed the results. An instrument data collection in this research was sheets of direct observation. Data analysis in this research was descriptive analysis quantitative to see category conversation skills students. From the data analysis, shows that percent conversation skills oral students an average of 47,25% that characterizes medium category. While for conversation skills written students an average of 85,35% were classified in the category very high. Where every encounter is increasing every indicator. Thus,can be concluded that the implementation of learning active type Everyone is a Teacher Here can be used as alternatives in the teaching process in class VIIA Junior High School Beer Sheba Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to describe and find out the improvement of the students’ motivation learning achievement by using learning active strategy of Rolled. Type of this research is a quasi-experimental, with nonequivalent control group design. The subject of this research is students class VII at SMPN 40 Pekanbaru, total of 176 students as divide into two class, experimental class and control class. The data in this research is a score of motivation before and after learning physics by implementation of learning active strategy of rolled model with descriptive and inferential analysis.Then, measured the improvement of the students’ motivation by normalized gain (gain-N) and t-test. The descriptive analysis score motivation of students at experimental class in middle category and increase in the middle category with N-Gain 0.49, and the control class in the middle category with N-Gain 0,37. This proved by inferential analysis, the analyzed shows t(44) = 7.409 means p < 0.05, then Ho is rejected. Which means that there are difference in motivation of learning between experiment class and control class. It can therefore be concluded that the implementation of  learning active strategy of rolled to students’ motivation  learning achievement in  physics on science at the seven grade of junior high school 40 pekanbar.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the critical thinking skills of students in class X Pi SMA IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat. The research used pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were students of class X Pi totalling 19 female students. The instrument of data collection in this study is the critical thinking skills test. Analysis of the data in this study is a descriptive analysis to see an overview of the critical thinking skills of student by using 3 criterias are: (1) absorption, (2) increase critical thinking skills of students  in 5 indicators of critical thinking skills (analysis, synthesis, recognize and solve problems, conclude, and evaluate), (3) effectiveness of learning. The research showed the critical thinking skills of student in class X Pi SMA IT al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat are in good category (70,1%), increase critical thinking skills of students in each of the indicators of critical thinking skills in middle category , and the effectiveness of learning through metacognitive strategies to improve students' critical thinking skills in the category quite effective. Abstract

Abstract This reasearch aimed to determine students' attitudes on physics between after and before the implementation of active learning strategy of verbal soccer on kinetic gas theory material. The subject of this research is the students of grade XI IPA SMA Muhuammadiyah Bangkinang, which consists of 30 students. Data in this research is primary data obtained from prestest and posttest score of students using questionnaire attitude of student to physics then analyzed descriptively. The attitude post on physics consists of four indicators of interest in physics, physics learning, the importance of physics and the views of the physical environment. Based on the data analysis, the students 'attitudinal score on the physics of the beginning and the end with the high category was analyzed by using the gain where the students' attitude toward physics was obtained by 0.19 with the low category. Abstract

Abstract : Thepurposeof this study was to describe student activity, describe and determine the significance of student attitude in collaboration based on gender after using collaborative learning model in physics at MA Al Ihsan Boarding School Kampar. This study was conducted in MA Al Ihsan Boarding School Kampar in November 2014 until May 2015 by using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design that was applied in two classes with different gender (boys class and girls class). Study subjects consisted of 10 student of boys class and 14 student of girls class. The result showed that score of boys and girls attitude in collaboration is at a high category and score of student activity is at a very high category. Before the learning, Score of girls attitude in collaboration is higher than the score of boys, but based on t-test this difference was not significant. After the learning, score of boys attitude in collaboration advance, and score of girls in collaboration decrease, but girls score are higher than boys and based on t-test this difference and alteration was not significant. Based on standar deviation obtained that girls showed the attitude in collaboration and activity more homogeneous than boys. So that, the difference of student attitude in collaboration based on gender was not significant and collaborative learning can be used to advance student activity for both boys and girls, whereas for student attitude in collaboration must be trained continuously and comprehensive, like collaborate with teachers of other subjects to implementing this learning model. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to describe student’s motivation based on gender in learning physic and to describe the differences  in student’s motivation based gender in learning physic by model collaborative learning in Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Boarding School. The expected benefits of this research is the basis of the increase  student’s  motivation to learn physics based on gender. This research was conducted in Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Boarding School, Kampar from February to May 2015. This research used 1 boy’s class with 15 students and 1 girl’s class with 18 students. Design of this research is one group pretest – posttest and data collection instrument was questionnaire.  The result of this research  found that boys have higher motivation then girls before treatment. Before treatment, boy’s motivation is 73,5% in high category and  girl’s motivation is 69,1% in middle category. But, after being given treatment by model collaborative learning, both of class decrease learning motivation, namely 69,3% in middle category for boys and 61,1% in middle category for girls. The result show that boys have higher motivation then girls  before and after given treatment Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Boarding School. Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to examine the practicalities of products resulting from the research design and experimental validation of the concept calorimetry gas as a medium of learning high school physics that has been done before. In this study, the experimental concept of gas calorimetry tested for use at 15 students and 3 teachers from AL-FITYAH SMA and SMA 12 Pekanbaru. In this study, the teacher acts as an observer and student acts as a user. Based on the analysis of data on the observation of the practicalities of votes according to observers, showed that the experimental device is practically used as a medium of learning with the criteria of High and Very High. While data on the practicalities assessment questionnaire by the user, it also shows that the experimental device is practically used as a medium of learning with the criteria of High and Very High. Overall, the learning device calorimetry gas concept makes it easy for teachers and students as medium of learning with criteria Very High.Keywords: Crossword Puzzle Method, Cooperative Learning, the Scientific Attitude
