Abstract

The cutting edge in health care is a nurse, where nursing is a profession that often interact with the patient, so the patient satisfaction is largely influenced by how good the quality of nursing care that is given. This study aimed to determine the correlation between nursing care and patient satisfaction level in the Awal Bros Hospital Pekanbaru. The design study was descriptive correlation with cross-sectional study. The research sample was 100 people who were taken based on inclusion criteria using accidental sampling approach. The results of this study showed that the majority of research subjects was the category of adult and elderly in each 39 respondents (39%),male were 58 respondents (58%). Majority of their education were higher education  with the number of 39 respondents (39%) and elementary school as much as 15 respondents (15%). Patients with outpatient status 60 respondents (60%) and inpatients as many as 40 respondents (40%). Test results chi-square was showed p value ( 0.000) <α (0.05) so it was concluded there was a correlation between nurse care and satisfaction level of patients in the Awal Bros Hospital Pekanbaru. Good service will always be directly proportional to the level of patient satisfaction. Awal Bros Hospital is expected to improve the standard and quality of patient satisfaction so as to create a positive impact for patients, health professionals and health services.  Keyword: Emergency Unit, nursing care, patient satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify influencing factor of body image among diabetic patient by foot ulcer at Arifin Achmad hospitals Riau province. The research used correlative descriptive with cross sectional approach as its design. The number of samples is 30 people taken using pusposive sampling technique. The analysis used was univariate using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using chi-square test. Based on the statistical test (chi-square) results, it is concluded that there is significant between changes in body apprearance with body image [p value <α (0,042<0,05)], there is significant between changes in function of body with body image [p value <α (0,011<0,05)], there is significant between reactions of others with body image [p value <α (0,027<0,05)] and there is significant between comparison of others with body image [p value <α (0,033<0,05)]. Abstract

Covid-19 is a group of viruses that attacks the respiratory tract. Elderly people are more susceptible to exposure to covid-19 because they experience decreased function and immunity. The vulnerability of covid-19 to attacking the elderly needs to take precautions to reduce the risk of the elderly being exposed to this virus. Good preventive behavior requires family support because the elderly experience physical limitations in carrying out activities. Family support is one of the factors that influence the elderly in conducting covid-19 prevention behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and covid-19 prevention behavior in the elderly. The research design used was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, with a sample size of 98 respondents according to the inclusion criteria. The results showed that the majority of research subjects were 60-69 years old as many as 70 respondents (71,4%), female as much as 51 respondents (52%), as many as 38 respondents (38,8%) of junior high school education. The work of housewives (IRT) was 50 respondents (51%). Marital status is married as many as 70 respondents (71,4%). The results of chi square test showed that p value (0.000) < α (0.05) concluded that there was a significant relationship between family support and covid-19 prevention behavior in the elderly.Keywords: family support, behavior, elderly

Abstract

Online game is a cyberspace game site connected by the internet network. An addiction to online games can cause a tremendous amount of consequences to the gamer such as forgot sleep, eat, and rest. This research aimed to determine the relationship between online game addiction with sleep quality of adolescence. This research used descriptive correlational design with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted on 70 samples at Junior High School 13 Pekanbaru used proportional stratified random sampling technique. The measuring tool used modified questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis to found the relationship between two variables studied using Chi-Square statistical test. The result of the research showed there was relationship between the online game addiction with sleep quality in adolescence with p value (0,002)< (0,05). This research expected to community especially adolescence to blame and control themselves in playing online game in attempt to avoid the impact on sleep quality of adolescence. Abstract

Abstract Spirituality nursing care is important because it could be influenced to guide health of daily living, improvement, as source of support for patients to face their disease. This research aims to know the description of spirituality nursing care on breast cancer patients. The design of this research was descriptive. The number of samples in this research were 20 nurses taken by using total sampling technique. The result of this research showed that there were 16 nurses didn’t make the assessment (80%), 18 nurses didn’t make nursing diagnose (90%), all of the nurses didn’t make nursing plan (100%), 16 nurses not done nursing implementation (80%),  and 19 nurses not done evaluation (95%). The result of the analysis showed that spirituality nursing care was not implemented optimally. This could be caused by there is no regulation from manager to implement spirituality nursing care. Based on this study to give suggestion to nurses manager in hospital to make policy about spiritual as a part of nursing process and to nursing institutions can be collaborate to improve nursing spiritual care. Abstract

The purpose of the research is  to analize the effectivity of combination labu siam steamer therapy and anti stroke exercises for reduce blood pressure to patiens hypertension. The research used quasy experiment design with non-equivalent control group which divided into experimental group and control group. Sample of this research is 30 people divided into 19 people as the experimental group and 19 people as a control group. Sample in this research taken using purposive sampling of techniques sampling which selected based on inclusion criteria. The equipment was used to measure blood pressure is sphygmomanometer. The experimental group were given interventions with combination labu siam steamer therapy and anti stroke exercises on every morning in three days. Data  analysis applied were univariate and bivariate using dependent sample t test and independent sample t test. The result of the reearch showed that mean of the average systolic and diastolic blood pressure before given combination labu siam steamer therapy and anti stroke exercises was 151.23 mmHg and 94.74 mmHg. While mean of the average systolic and diastolic blood pressure after a given combination labu siam steamer therapy and anti stroke exercises of 143.16 mmHg and 89.82 mmHg were mean blood pressure decreased significantly after intervention given by p value  0,000 (<0,05). The conclusion of combination labu siam steamer therapy and anti stroke exercises can reduce blood pressure for patients hypertension. Keywords: anti stroke exercises, hypertension, labu siam.

Abstract

Abstract Caring is an interpersonal relationship between nurse and patient in providing nursing care. The ICU nurses must have a caring attitude to provide quality nursing care so that patient and family satisfaction can be achieved.This study aims to determine the patient's family perceptions about the behavior of the nurses caring Mandau District Hospital ICU waiting room 2016. The design is descriptive with survey techniques, in which the data collection is done by using a questionnaire. The analysis is univariate analysis. The results showed that 21 out of 30 respondents (70%) have the perception  that  the ICU nurses have good behaviour and 9 respondents (30%) have a poor perception. Suggestion, based on the result it is suggested  to nurses increase nursing care by constantly reminding among nurses while performing nursing care.Keywords: Caring, Families Patients, Nurses and Family Perception

Abstract

Abstract   The purpose of this research was to determine the influence Swedish massage therapy to quality of sleep for elderly. The design of this research was “Pre experimental design one group only” designed by “One group pre test-post test”. The research has been conducted in the Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Khusnul Khotimah at Pekanbaru. The sample were 34 respondents who fit the inclusion criteria and chosen by purposive sampling technique. Measuring instrument that using questionnaire of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Implementation of Swedish massage theraphy has been did in thirty minutes and during three days in a row. The analysis has been used univariate and bivariate by using Wilcoxon test. The result showed that there was a significant variance of sleep quality in elderly which has given Swedish massage with p value (0.000) < α (0.05). It can be concluded that the Swedish massage therapy was influence to improve the quality of sleep for elderly. Based on this research the Swedish massage therapy can be used as a non pharmacological therapy to increase sleep quality of elderly. Keyword: Elderly, Swedish massage, quality of sleep

Abstract

AbstarctCompliance is one of the problem occur  tocancer patients that undergoing chemotherapy. Noncompliance affect the success of a treatment. Therapy will not be optimal without the patient's consciousness itself, even lead the treatment failure and be fatal. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with compliance of cancer patients that undergoing chemotherapy.The design used a descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. Samples were 30 respondents that taken based on inclusion criteria which using accidental sampling technique. The instrument of study was aquestionnaire that designed by the researcher and tested by the validity and reliability.The analysis used univariate and bivariate with Chi-Square test. The results of statistical test by Chi-Square can be concluded that there is no relationship between the understanding of instructions (p value = 0.714), conviction (p value = 0.461)and family support (p value = 1.000) with patient compliance that undergoing chemotherapy. The researcher suggested the family of cancer patients that undergoing chemotherapy to be always faithful to accompany and provide support the patients so they will more obedient to chemotherapy. Keywords: Cancer, Chemotherapy, Conviction

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know behavioral factors that influence whiteness in women teenagers. The method of the research used correlation description with cross sectional approach.The research has done at 82 respondents in SMA Negeri 1 Rumbio Jaya using total sampling technique. The assessment thatusedquisioners.The analyze thatusedbivariat analyze using Chi Square test. The result of the research shows that there is no correlation between women teenagers knowledge and attitude level towards whiteness and for responds got p value =0,041 where p value < 0,05, it can be concluded that there is correlation between respondents respond towards whiteness.This research result is hoped can be seen for women teenagers to more be attention the problem health that happened in them especially about whiteness.
