Abstract

Accounting is explained as the process of recording, categorizing, summarizing, and reporting the company's transaction activities. Therefore, accounting information systems are used to facilitate individuals in their tasks and enable better company performance. This study aims to evaluate the effect of the application of accounting information systems on company performance, taking into account the utilization, quality, security, and supporting facilities of accounting information systems. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with an associative approach (questionnaire method). Questionnaires are used to assess managers' perceptions of information system utilization, information system quality, information system security, and means of supporting accounting information systems, as well as their influence on company performance. From this study it was found that the application of accounting information systems has a positive and significant effect on company performance. Utilization, quality, security, and means of supporting accounting information systems have a positive and significant effect on company performance. Therefore, increasing the application of accounting information systems in hotels can improve the performance of management companies. In addition, managers' perceptions of the usefulness of accounting information systems greatly influence the utilization of these systems. Therefore, companies should pay attention to managers' and employees' perceptions of the usefulness of accounting information systems to ensure effective use of these systems.

Abstract

Kampung Laut merupakan salah satu Kelurahan yang berada di Kecamatan Kuala Jambi Tanjung Jabung Timur yang memiliki sumber daya alam yang tidak termanfaatkan limbahnya yaitu serabut cangkang buah dari tanaman nipah. Selama ini masyarakat Kampung Laut hanya memanfaatkan buah nipah sebagai produk olahan pangan seperti dodol, tetapi limbah dari serabut cangkang buah nipah terbuang dan tidak dimanfaatkan. Cangkang buah nipah yang mengandung selulosa tinggi sehingga jika diolah menjadi arang aktif berubah menjadi karbon yang memiliki efektifitas kemampuan penyerapan kotoran, racun dan minyak pada kulit. Dengan melihat potensi ini maka muncul ide untuk mengolah arang aktif cangkang buah nipah menjadi produk kosmetik masker gel peel off. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mampu memberi nilai jual tanaman nipah khususnya cangkang buah nipah yang terbuang, meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai cara pembuatan masker gel peel off, dan memaksimalkan sumber daya manusia di kelurahan Kampung Laut. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini, yaitu penyuluhan tentang tanaman nipah, pembuatan masker gel peel off, dan aplikasi masker gel peel off pada wajah. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan produk kosmetik masker gel peel off berbahan dasar natural dari arang aktif cangkang buah nipah. Manfaat dari PPM ini yang dapat meningkatkan nilai jual dari tanaman nipah , serta meningkatkan kreativitas sumber daya manusia di Kelurahan Kampung Laut, Kecamatan Kuala Jambi, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur.

Abstract

The effect of graphite mass in TiO2 semiconductors on the efficiency of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) based on dye extract of Melastoma malabathricum has been investigated. This study aims to determine the effect of mass variations of graphite-TiO2 on the efficiency of DSSC and bandgap produced in the manufacture of DSSC. The mass variation of graphite added in TiO2 semiconductors is 10%, 12%, 14%, and 16% of the mass of TiO2. The result shows the maximum wavelength (λmax) for anthocyanin at 544 nm with an absorbance of 5.7 Á. The calculation results obtained by the optimal bandgap value in the variation of graphite mass 14% is 3.15 eV. The results of characterization using XRD obtained tetragonal TiO2 crystal structure with a particle size of 49.8 nm. The DSSC test results obtained optimal results found in mass variations of 14% graphite with a current strength of 140,001 μA, a voltage of 1446.9 mV, and DSSC efficiency of 0.2026%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pelaksanaan program sekolah penggerak di SD Negeri 1 Tulung Harapan, Kecamatan Lempuing, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan informan utama adalah kepala sekolah dan informan pendukung adalah guru. Triangulasi sumber dan teknik digunakan untuk meningkatkan validitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program sekolah penggerak di SD Negeri 1 Tulung Harapan telah berjalan baik, fokus pada pengembangan holistik siswa, termasuk kompetensi dan karakter. Kepala sekolah dan guru yang unggul berperan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Sarana dan prasarana memadai menjadi faktor pendukung, sedangkan hambatan terletak pada lemahnya sumber daya manusia (guru) yang masih mengadopsi paradigma pembelajaran lama. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program sekolah penggerak di sekolah-sekolah sejenis.

Abstract

Lahan gambut terbesar di dunia terdapat disalah satu negara yaitu Indonesia. Lahan gambut di Indonesia terutama terdapat diSumatra, Papua dan Kalimantan. Umumnya keperluan konstruksi bangunan cepat terjadi proses korosi dilingkungan yang asam seperti dilingkungan tanah gambut. Korosi merupakan permasalahan umum yang sering terjadi dilingkungan sekitar. Cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperlambat laju reaksi korosi, diantaranya dengan penambahan zat tertentu yang berfungsi sebagai inhibitor alami seperti ekstrak bahan alam. Ekstrak getah merkubung (Macaranga gigantea) dengan penambahan KI 0,02 M berpotensi sebagai inhibitor korosi pada baja lunak. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kehilangan berat dengan variasi konsentrasi ekstrak dan variasi suhu. Karakterisasi yang digunakan yaitu Spektrofotometri Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) untuk mengidentifikasi gugus fungsi tertentu pada senyawa metabolit sekunder dari ekstrak air getah Macaranga gigantea dan KI 0,02 M.  Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Untuk memberikan informasi mengenai morfologi permukaan baja. Nilai efisiensi inhibisi ekstrak getah merkubung (Macaranga gigantea) dengan penambahan KI 0,02 M pada baja lunak dalam media air gambut meningkat seiring meningkatnya konsentrasi ekstrak dan meningkatnya suhu perendaman.

Abstract

Struktur informasi dengan kebebasan berpendapat sangat berbahaya jika tidak dibatasi dengan deontologi etis. Oleh karena itu, deontologi etis sangat diperlukan oleh seorang pelayan komunikasi (jurnalis) untuk menjaga kredibilitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis pengaruh deontologi etis terhadap kredibilitas profesi jurnalis sebagai pelayan komunikasi di ruang publik. Deontologi etis menjadi fokus utama, dengan penekanan pada aspek moral dan etika dalam praktik jurnalisme. Metode penelitian menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan praktisi jurnalisme. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa penerapan prinsip deontologi jurnalisme, termasuk kejujuran, independensi, dan keadilan, berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kredibilitas profesi jurnalis. Hasil analisis juga menyoroti hubungan yang kompleks antara deontologi etis terhadap kredibilitas jurnalis sebagai penyampai informasi publik. Implikasi temuan ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang bagaimana aspek moral dalam jurnalisme dapat memperkuat atau merusak kredibilitas jurnalis dalam peran mereka sebagai pelayan komunikasi publik. Penulisan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dengan menggambarkan bahwa prinsip-prinsip deontologi etis tidak hanya menjadi landasan moral, tetapi juga merupakan faktor yang memperkuat posisi jurnalis sebagai agen komunikasi publik yang terpercaya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini dapat menjadi pedoman bagi praktisi jurnalisme, lembaga pendidikan, dan pihak-pihak terkait untuk lebih memahami dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip deontologi dalam menjaga dan meningkatkan kredibilitas profesi jurnalis.

Abstract

This study presents the development and application of an innovative 3-in-1 nanotechnology pyrolysis reactor designed to simultaneously produce liquid smoke, activated carbon, and limestone from locally sourced raw materials in Jambi Province, Indonesia. The multifunctional reactor combines three production processes, which are traditionally performed separately, into a single, efficient unit, addressing both economic and environmental challenges. Coal serves as the primary heat source and material for activated carbon, whereas shell waste is calcined to produce limestone. The reactor operates at temperatures exceeding 550°C to ensure optimal conversion, with a glass wool insulator replacing clay to enhance thermal efficiency. The liquid smoke undergoes further distillation to achieve purification, while residual activated carbon is chemically activated with H₃PO₄ to enhance its adsorption capacity. The experimental results demonstrate that this reactor can produce high-quality products with minimal resource wastage. This 3-in-1 pyrolysis reactor represents a sustainable, cost-effective solution for resource-limited settings, with broad potential for application in waste-to-product conversion, environmental remediation, and rural development.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has increased online shopping and food delivery, causing a surge in single-use plastic waste and has become a habit to this day along with the rapid development of digital technology. Dream Central Waste Bank (BSI Dream) in Wijaya Pura Village collects 3 tons of waste monthly but lacked advanced plastic processing technology. This community service initiative aimed to implement a pyrolysis reactor to convert plastic waste into fuel oil and paving blocks, thereby enhancing economic value while promoting environmental sustainability. The activity stages included partner coordination and surveys, reactor performance upgrades, operational training, and evaluation. This activity involved five partners representing the Wijaya Pura Village community.  The reactor successfully produced fuel oil (density: 0.848–0.912 g/mL) and residues suitable for paving block production. The outcome of this initiative demonstrated improved skills among partners, the creation of marketable products and increased community income opportunities. Furthermore, the activity fostered greater awareness of the importance of sustainable waste management and supported the application of circular economy principles.

Abstract

Stunting is a growth disorder in children caused by inadequate nutrition, affecting their physical and cognitive abilities. One contributing factor to stunting is early marriage, which is closely related to a low understanding of adolescent reproductive health. This study aims to analyze the effect of animated educational video media on adolescents' knowledge of reproductive health in efforts to prevent stunting. This quantitative study uses a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test arrangement. Data collection uses total sampling with 66 respondents. The research is conducted at SMPN 5 Satap Kunto Darussalam. The measurement tool is a validated and reliable questionnaire on reproductive health, sexuality, and teenage pregnancy prevention. The data is analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results show an increase in adolescents' knowledge before and after the intervention with animated educational video media. Statistical tests confirm that the intervention is effective in improving adolescents' average knowledge regarding reproductive health, with a p-value of 0.000 ( α 0.05). Animated educational video media effectively improves adolescents' knowledge about reproductive health in efforts to prevent stunting. This media can serve as a useful tool for adolescents to enhance knowledge and actions related to reproductive health and stunting prevention.

Abstract

Remazol Yellow is a dye that contains an basic amino group and a benzene core, so it is difficult to be naturally degraded by microorganisms and causes environmental pollution. One solution to reduce the dye waste polluted in waters can be done by adsorption method using pineapple peel cellulose as adsorbent. Before turning into pineapple peel cellulose, the NaOH delignification process and H2SO4 hydrolysis were carried out first. The adsorption process for rhodamine B dye was carried out on 2 parameters, namely pH, contact time and determination of the adsorption system using the Langmuir and Freundlich equations at various concentrations of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50, 75 and 100 ppm. Testing the effect of pH on the adsorption of Remazol Yellow was carried out with variations in pH namely 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. . The results showed the optimum conditions at pH 2, contact time of 30 minutes and the Langmuir isotherm adsorption system with an adsorption capacity of 19.888 mg/g
