Abstract

COVID-19 survivors need to maintain their mental health to return to their regular life after recovering from COVID-19. One of the psychological resources that promote mental health is resilience. Resilience has been studied, but it is still rarely studied in COVID-19 survivors. Resilience can be affected by gratitude and optimism. This study examines the role of gratitude and optimism in the resilience of COVID-19 survivors. This study is a quantitative, correlational study. The population was students of COVID-19 survivors at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample included 114 students who survived COVID-19, consisting of 36 men and 78 women aged 18–23. Data were collected using a gratitude scale, an optimism scale, and a resilience scale. Data analysis was conducted by multiple regression. The results show that gratitude and optimism have a role in the resilience of COVID-19 survivors. Gratitude has a positive effect on resilience, and optimism also positively affects resilience. Gratitude and optimism have a 35.9% role in the resilience of COVID-19 survivors. However, gratitude has a higher position than optimism in enhancing the resilience of COVID-19 survivors. The implication of this research is to increase resilience in COVID-19 survivors by increasing gratitude and optimism.

Abstract

Abstract In a company, it is very necessary to monitor and improve the performance of its employees. Employee performance is important for the company because with good performance, employees can contribute to the company's success in achieving the company's vision and mission. The variable that can affect employee performance is knowledge management. The purpose of this study is to explain whether or not knowledge management affects employee performance at PT Berlio Anugrah Putra. This research method uses a quantitative survey method. The data source used was obtained from employees of PT Berlio Anugrah Putra. In addition, the sampling technique in this study used non-probability sampling with convenience sampling technique. The population in this study consisted of all employees of PT Berlio Anugrah Putra with approximately 500 employees, so a sample of 89 respondents was obtained. The analytical tool used in this research is SmartPLS version 3.2.9. The results of this study indicate that knowledge management affects employee performance.   Keywords:         Knowledge Management, Employee Performance, Company Success

Abstract

Most organizations must be able to keep up with all the progress in order to achieve a goal, so adequate managerial performance is needed. The variables that can affect organizational performance with the application of Accountability Accounting so that the organization can achieve its objectives effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of Accountability Accounting on managerial performance at Amil Zakat Institutions in Bandung City and Cimahi City. This research method uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The primary data sources used data obtained from managers of Amil Zakat Institutions in Bandung City and Cimahi City. The research sampling technique used nonprobability sampling with convenience sampling technique and received a sample of 61 respondents. The analytical tool used in this research is SmartPLS version 3.2.9. The results of this study indicate that the application of accountability accounting affects managerial performance.   Keywords     : Managerial Performance, Responsibility Accounting Implementation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of communication problems in children with Down syndrome. Communication problems on the subject are related to the use of language in their environment. The data obtained from the subject's parents, teachers and tutors experienced problems in expressing their own desires. The purpose of this study is to help subjects communicate with their environment. Communication uses tools that are made based on the needs and abilities of the current subject. The tool created is called "Wofal". This tool is in the form of modified images with an attractive shape and easy to use subjects. The first stage of using the tool introduces the images that the subject will use in communicating. Second, the subject was asked to stick to his wishes and choose an image. The picture consists of the subjects' daily activities at home and at school. After intervention to the subject, the results were obtained. According to teachers, parents and tutors, this tool makes it easier for subjects to communicate. Usually teachers, tutors and parents do not understand what the subject wants. After this tool the crying behavior of the subject became less. So, this tool makes it easier for subjects to communicate in their environment.

Abstract

Abstract. This paper examines the quality of service and the quality of online motorcycle taxi system applications that can affect consumer satisfaction during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is the development of the TAM concept that provides hope, and can help to predict user attitudes and acceptance of information system technology. The user's perception of the application system depends on the quality of the information system available, where the quality measures of the online application system are Reliability, Flexibility, Security, Easy to use, Privacy, Accessibility. This research is a survey research using a questionnaire as a source of processed data. Determination of the research sample using justment sampling. Questionnaires were distributed to respondents using the online motorcycle taxi application, in this case GOJEK, as many as 340 respondents. Research data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS tools. The results of the study explain that only flexibility has no effect on customer satisfaction, while service quality, Reliability, Security, Easy to use, Privacy, Accessibility have an effect on customer satisfaction. Using the TAM concept, online motorcycle taxi providers can retain old customers and find new customers by conducting surveys at certain periods of online motorcycle taxi users' consumers.

Abstract

Abstract. Most organizations must be able to keep up with all advancements to achieve a goal, thus requiring adequate managerial performance. The variables that can influence managerial performance through the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) enable organizations to achieve their goals effectively and efficiently. The aim of this research is to determine the extent of the influence of Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation on managerial performance in Zakat Amil Institutions in the cities of Bandung and Cimahi. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data source is primary data obtained from managers of Zakat Amil Institutions in Bandung and Cimahi. The research sampling technique uses non-probability sampling with convenience sampling, resulting in a sample of 61 respondents. The analysis tool used in this research is SmartPLS version 3.2.9. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) has an influence on managerial performance. Abstrak. Sebagian besar organisasi harus mampu untuk mengikuti segala kemajuan agar dapat mencapai suatu tujuan, maka diperlukannya suatu kinerja manajerial yang memadai. Adapun variabel yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja manajerial dengan penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) sehingga organisasi mampu mencapai tujuannya dengan efektif serta efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) terhadap kinerja manajerial pada Lembaga Amil Zakat di Kota Bandung dan Kota Cimahi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer yang diperoleh dari manajer Lembaga Amil Zakat di Kota Bandung dan Kota Cimahi. Adapun teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian mengunakan non probability sampling dengan teknik convience sampling dan mendapatkan sampel sebanyak 61 responden. Alat analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah SmartPLS versi 3.2.9. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) berpengaruh terhadap kinerja manajerial.

Abstract

Many problems arise in the detention center related to the coaching of Correctional Inmates. Even though some inmates are recidivists, they even move to different detention centers. In this case, the inmates certainly have their motivation in committing the crime so they become a recidivist. The purpose of this research was to describe recidivist inmates' motivation in committing their crimes. This research used the qualitative method by doing interviews and observations to collect the data. The data were analyzed through a descriptive narrative. The subjects were 5 inmates in the Class I State Detention Center (Rutan) Surakarta who committed repeated crimes in various cases. The result of this research shows the motivation of inmates in recidivism is influenced by economic factors, environmental factors, psychological factors, the influence of others, opportunities, and habits to commit crimes. To reduce recidivists from committing crimes, it is necessary to pay attention to the factors that trigger these crimes.

Abstract

Fondasi tiang pancang adalah fondasi dalam yang berfungsi untuk menstabilkan sambungan struktur dan mentransfer beban ke lapisan tanah keras. Penilaian kemampuan tiang memerlukan analisis setelah pemasangan. Kapasitas tiang dihitung dari data pelaksanaan pemancangan menggunakan data kalendering. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis kapasitas tiang pancang dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga persamaan dinamik, yaitu: metode  Hilley (1930), persamaan Gates (1957), dan persamaan Navy-Mckay. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan ketiga metode tersebut guna menentukan metode yang paling tepat dalam mengukur kapasitas tiang. Setelah melakukan analisis dengan metode-metode tersebut, maka dihasilkan kapasitas dukung tiang tunggal berdasarkan persamaan Hilley (1930), persamaan Gates (1957) dan persamaan Navy-Mckay berturut-turut sebesar 7194,56 ton; 21196,88 ton; dan 58524,24 ton. Dikarenakan persamaan Hilley (1930) lebih rendah dari pada metode lainnya, maka metode Hilley (1930) dianggap lebih aman.

Abstract

Bank Sampah Universitas Budi Luhur banyak menghasilkan produk-produk, salah satunya ialah produk yang terbuat dari Maggot. Untuk kelancaran sebuah unit usaha dibutuhkan banyak cara untuk memperkenalkan atau mengkomunikasikan produk atau jasanya kepada masyarakat agar konsumen dapat mengenali dan terpersuasi untuk dapat memilih atau menyukai produk barang atau jasa yang ditawarkan dari usaha usaha lain yang bergerak dibidang yang sama. Logo atau identitas merk adalah sebuah tanda yang secara langsung tidak menjual, tetapi memberi suatu identitas yang pada akhirnya sebagai alat pemasaran yang signifikan, logo mampu membantu membedakan suatu produk atau jasa dari kompetitornya. Logo dapat diperoleh maknanya dari suatu kualitas yang disimbolkan, melalui pendekatan budaya perusahaan, penempatan posisi historis atau aspirasi perusahaan. Secara keseluruhan logo merupakan instrumen rasa harga diri dan nilai-nilainya yang dapat merepresentasikan perusahaan atau unit usaha secara keseluruhan. Adapun subjek pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Bank Sampah Budi Luhur yaitu berupa produk maggot yang telah dihasilkan, dimana produk ini belum memiliki identifikasi visual identity untuk membedakan dengan kompetitor yang sudah ada dan hal ini menjadi landasan kami untuk melakukan kajian dan riset dalam pengembangan program pegabdian masyarakat yang kami lakukan.

Abstract

Fenomena merebaknya animasi local saat ini membuat banyak masyarakat, khususnya generasi Z yang ingin menjadi creator animasi. Sayangnya, tidak sedikit generasi belia saat ini belum mengetahui profesi sebagai animator. Oleh karena itu, tim melaksanakan Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) berupa pelatihan animasi dasar yang bertujuan untuk membantu memperkenalkan animasi dasar bagi siswa SD khususnya dalam bidang content creator animasi serta melatih rasa percaya diri dan kreativitas siswa dalam mengembangkan diri sebagai animator. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Budi Luhur yang diikuti 20 peserta dari siswa kelas 5 SD Lazuardi Cordova Jakarta. Metode pelatihan yaitu perkenalan, pengenalan animasi, prinsip animasi, praktik animasi, pengenalan program pembuatan animasi dan evaluasi. Semua kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan di SD Lazuardi Cordova. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan adanya antusiasme para peserta pelatihan dan minat peserta untuk menjadi animator muda.
