Abstract

This research is to design and build a wireless sensor network system to monitor the performance of the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) smart solar module on the network server using the DS18B20 temperature sensor and the INA219 sensor. Of course, the use of solar panels also greatly reduces costs for consumers, so the design of this tool is a combination of switching methods between solar panels, batteries, and the State Electricity Company (PLN). There are still many obstacles to using solar panels such as: how effectively they absorb solar energy, and this can contribute to or reduce damage to digital meters not working. The working principle of this tool uses the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) method so that the designed tool is placed on several solar panel modules on the Smart PDAM so that the sensor sends data to the network and technicians can control it in real-time. Data collection techniques use observation techniques and documentation to obtain test data. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques that are inductive, objective, and scientific, with data obtained in the form of numbers or statements that are evaluated and analyzed. The results of this study with the PDAM PCB board testing scenario with an average of 320.2 measurements with a multimeter showed an average result of 322.8 with a relative error of 2.6%. The test results with Smart PDAM components showed an average power consumption of 1789.2 mW. The observations of the two panels gave an average result of 887.1 on panel 1 and an average result of 908.7 on panel 2. The results of the DS18B20 temperature sensor comparison test showed an average error of 0.5%. The result of a switching scenario with 20 experiments, resulted in 9 switching operations to the battery and 11 switching operations to the solar panel. Monitoring the solar module with the INA219 sensor, 277 voltage, current, and power data were determined with an average of 17.1 V, 513.9 mA, and 481.5 mW. The calculation results use the exponential moving average formula to predict the 278th data with an exponential moving average of 20 based on sensor data showing a value of 294.7 mA while using a simple moving average is 590.1 mA.

Abstract

The need for water for humans is the main thing and cannot be replaced with anything else. Water will always be needed every time for consumption and daily activities. Therefore, the need for water is always considered in the distribution process so that every community can meet its water needs. Especially residential areas where water needs are important. However, there are obstacles to pipe leaks that cause this water distribution to be hampered. The development of the Internet of Things is the main solution in terms of monitoring water flow and water pressure in pipes. This makes it easier for pipe repair parties to increase the effectiveness of their supervision of the condition of their housing pipes. Based on the results of trials and evaluations that have been carried out, it gives the conclusion that the existence of this system can help pipe repair parties in knowing the state of water flow in pipe installations in their residential areas. This system is also supported by using the calculation of physical formulas such as the Bernoulli equation and the principle of continuity where the formula P = 1/2ρV² has been used in the calculation of calibration on the water flow sensor and to test the validation of the results issued by the water flow sensor, the Absolute Relative Error calculation is also used where the formula used is Absolute Relative Error = | (estimated - actual) / actual | * 100. Through the calculation processes carried out, it can increase the chances of reading data that is more accurate than usual and the results will be maximized in detecting any anomalies that occur during monitoring. Therefore, the opportunity to implement a residential pipe monitoring system is a convincing thing to do in improving services that are more responsive to residents in the housing complex.

Abstract

Traffic Flow Calculation is one of the first steps in urban planning and road infrastructure management, for monitoring traffic flow on a road is very important. To do traffic planning, the Department of Transportation must count every passing vehicle where later the data will be used as material for analysis. Currently, the Department of Transportation calculates vehicles that pass on a road by calculating it with manual tools, so it requires large operational costs and takes a long time. Based on the problems faced, the researcher offers a solution for an intelligent traffic flow monitoring system that can count the number of vehicles that pass by using a closed circuit television camera (CCTV) installed at every city traffic light. Here we propose a high-performance algorithm model You Only Look Once (YOLO), which is based on the TensorFlow framework, to improve real-time vehicle monitoring. From the results of testing the system was built using the Python programming language using the YOLOv4 method, the Tensorflow library, and the PyQT5 library. The accuracy of reading the number of passing vehicles is 97%.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pentingnya kemampuan mengelola keuangan secara bijak sejak dini menjadi perhatian utama dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan anak usia sekolah dasar (SD). Tantangan berupa rendahnya pemahaman anak terkait konsep dasar keuangan, terutama pada anak yang terlibat kegiatan TWK, menjadi fokus pengabdian ini. Tujuan: Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan anak, melibatkan orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran, dan menyediakan media interaktif berupa Board Game. Metode: Metode yang digunakan meliputi persiapan, pembuatan prototipe, sosialisasi, implementasi, serta evaluasi Board Game. Hasil: Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman anak tentang menabung, dapat membedakan antara kebutuhan, dan keinginan, berdonasi, serta membuat anggaran yang sederhana dalam memenuhi keinginan. Keterlibatan orang tua juga memperkuat pembelajaran anak serta menciptakan komunikasi yang lebih efektif. Kesimpulan: Board Game terbukti sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dari pada media konvensional. Program ini memiliki potensi untuk diimplementasikan di sekolah dasar lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) untuk mengetahui hasil e-modul teori dan praktikum mata kuliah pemrograman jaringan. (2) Mengetahui kelayakan penggunaan e-modul teori dan praktikum pada mata kuliah pemrograman jaringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan, yang juga dikenal sebagai R&D (Research and Development), dengan menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan Four-D (4D), yang memiliki beberapa tahapan diantaranya, yaitu : define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan desseminate (penyebaran). Subyek penelitian ini meliputi dua ahli materi, dua ahli media, dan tanggapan mahasiswa Program Studi PTIK FT UNM angkatan 2018 dan 2019. Lembar penilaian kelayakan ahli materi dan ahli media, serta angket tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan e-modul digunakan untuk penilaian kelayakan e-modul. Berdasarkan hasil angket atau lembar instrumen untuk ahli media dan ahli materi untuk modul pembelajaran dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran masuk dalam kategori Sangat Layak, dengan nilai persentase 87,93% untuk ahli materi dan 91,76% untuk ahli media. Sedangkan hasil respon mahasiswa diperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 92% dan tergolong Sangat Baik. Sehinggga E-Modul Teori dan Praktikum Mata Kuliah Pemrograman Jaringan “Sangat Layak” dan dapat gunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi pengelolaan keuangan keluarga usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah prototyping dan menggunakan pengujian standar kualitas ISO/IEC 25010 dengan pengujian 8 aspek yakni Functional Suitability, Usability, Perfomance Efficiency, Portability, Security, Maintainability, Compability, dan Reliability. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan wawancara, dokumentasi dan penyebaran angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil pengujian pada aspek Functional Suitability mendapatkan nilai 1 yang berarti berada dalam kategori “diterima”. Pengujian aspek Usability terhadap 25 responden dengan presentase nilai rata-rata 86% dan berada pada kategori sangat baik. Pengujian aspek portability presentase 100%. Pengujian aspek performance efficiency sebesar avg 13.4 ms/frame. Pengujian aspek maintainability memenuhi standard. Pengujian aspek security memiliki tingkat keamanan baik dengan score A. Pengujian aspek compatibility berada pada kategori sangat baik. Pengujian aspek reliability presentasi kesuksesan 100%.

Abstract

Aplikasi SIMLP2M Universitas Negeri Makassar merupakan sistem yang mengelola data penting terkait penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh dosen dan peneliti. Mengingat sensitivitas data yang dikelola, keamanan server aplikasi ini menjadi prioritas. Belum adanya sistem monitoring keamanan yang efektif membuat server ini rentan terhadap serangan siber. PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keamanan server SIMLP2M melalui pengembangan sistem monitoring berbasis Wazuh, sebuah perangkat lunak open-source yang mampu mendeteksi dan mencegah ancaman siber secara real-time. PKM ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahapan, yaitu survei dan analisis kebutuhan, desain topologi keamanan, instalasi dan konfigurasi Wazuh, pelatihan admin server, evaluasi sistem, serta pendampingan teknis. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa Wazuh berhasil mendeteksi ancaman potensial dan meningkatkan kemampuan admin server dalam merespon insiden keamanan. Selain itu, melalui pelatihan dan alih teknologi, admin server kini lebih kompeten dalam memantau dan melindungi server dari serangan siber. Dengan demikian, pengembangan sistem monitoring keamanan berbasis Wazuh ini telah memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan keamanan aplikasi yang dikelola oleh UNM

Abstract

This study explores the application of machine learning for local market prediction in e-commerce. By leveraging the RFM segmentation method, the model predicts product sales based on user shopping patterns. The RFM score, calculated using recency, frequency, and monetary values of customer purchases, segments customers into distinct categories. The research utilizes a dataset obtained through seven parameters and performs data preprocessing. K-Means clustering then classifies customers into Low, Medium, and High levels based on their RFM scores. Customers in the Low category exhibit low purchase activity but high product browsing. The Medium segment displays consistent purchases of a limited product range. High-level customers demonstrate frequent purchases with significant spending. The identified customer segments enable targeted marketing strategies. For Low-level customers, discounts or product feature promotions can incentivize purchases. Combining product offerings can entice Medium-level customers to explore new products. Finally, High-level customers can be engaged through loyalty programs offering rewards. This approach empowers e-commerce sellers to tailor marketing strategies for each customer segment, enhancing market dominance.

Abstract

The research conducted is Research and Development (R&D). The aim of this study is to determine the results of the development of a web-based Community Service Program Implementation Information System using the prototyping development method. Additionally, the research aims to assess the quality of the developed software using the ISO 25010 standard. The data collection techniques used include questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. This study resulted in a web-based Community Service Program Implementation Information System using the Laravel framework. The testing results indicated good quality, detailed across eight aspects: functional suitability scored 0.956 and 0.978 from the two functionality testers, both of which are categorized as "good"; usability received a score of 90.76%, categorized as "very feasible"; performance efficiency was graded A, indicating good quality; reliability showed a 99.93% score, categorized as good; security testing revealed level 1 vulnerability to password guessing attacks, while tests for SQL injection and cross-site scripting indicated that the system is secure from these attacks, overall indicating good security quality; maintainability scored 0.027 with an A grade from SonarQube tools, categorized as good; portability showed good quality after testing on four different operating systems and two different hardware types; and compatibility showed good quality after testing on five different browsers.

Abstract

The attendance system in schools currently still uses a manual system such as wet signatures on paper media. With such a system, there are still shortcomings in terms of efficiency of manpower, cost, and time. Therefore, this study aims to develop an attendance system that uses QR Code technology to be more efficient. In addition, this study aims to test the system using the ISO/IEC 25010 standard as a reference, and to test the QR Code by considering the QR conditions and the scan distance to the system. This study uses the Rational Unified Process (RUP) development method. With this development method, an attendance system was obtained with very good test results and met the ISO/IEC 25010 standards in all existing aspects. In QR Code technology, the ideal distance for scanning is 5 cm - 25 cm from the camera where from various conditions that have been tested, only two QR conditions were found that could not be scanned by the system, including the QR Code covered by foreign objects, and the QR Code in a crumpled condition. Therefore, it can be concluded that the attendance system using QR Code technology that has been created can function well in terms of the system as well as the QR Code.
