Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe critical thinking skills in terms of learning styles on the topic of addition and subtraction of fractions among fourth-grade students at SDN Tegalrejo No. 98 in the academic year 2023/2024. This study employs a qualitative research method with a case study design. The subjects are teachers and nine fourth-grade students from SDN Tegalrejo No. 98. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity is ensured through triangulation of techniques and sources. Data analysis follows Creswell's analytical model. The results indicate that students with kinesthetic and auditory learning styles were only able to fulfill the evaluation and inference indicators. Students with a visual learning style did not meet all four indicators of critical thinking skills, including interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. Therefore, this research is expected to provide additional information for teachers to develop more effective and efficient teaching strategies by considering students learning styles. Additionally, it serves as a reference for further research on mathematics learning. The implication of this research is that critical thinking skills play a crucial role in solving mathematical problems related to addition and substraction of fractions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yang ingin dicapai yaitu guna mengetahui sikap nasionalisme peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di masa pembelajaran pasca daring. Berdasarkan Peraturan Presiden No. 87 Tahun 2017 tentang PPK (Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter) terdapat lima nilai karakter utama yaitu, nilai religius, nilai nasionalis, nilai integritas, nilai kemandirian, dan nilai gotong royong. Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila merupakan salah satu sarana utama dalam pendidikan untuk menanamkan sikap nasionalisme pada peserta didik. Hal tersebut didukung dengan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan No. 23 Tahun 2006 yang menyebutkan bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaraan merupakan mata pelajaran yang berfokus guna membentuk warga negara agar lebih memahami dan dapat melaksanakan segala hak dan kewajiban sebagai seorang warga negara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas IV dan 28 peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Serengan 2 Surakarta. Dalam pengumpulan data digunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian validitas penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Sementara teknik analisis data yang didapatkan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang didapatkan, sikap nasionalisme peserta didik kelas IV ditinjau dari indikator rela berkorban, disiplin, jujur dan berani, cinta tanah air, serta persatuan dan kesatuan dapat dibilang tinggi karena peserta didik kelas IV di SD Negeri Serengan 2 menunjukkan perilaku dominan yang mencerminkan kelima indikator yang telah dirumuskan.

Abstract

This research goals were to described the role of teachers in implementing student responsibility attitudes in Civic Education learning on rights, obligations, and responsibilities. This research used descriptive qualitative research with the research subjects of fifth grade teachers and fifth grade students of SD Negeri Tegalrejo No. 98. The data collection was cloned by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed consisting of three components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the teacher's role in implementing an attitude of responsibility that is seen in implementing the attitude of student responsibility was the role of the teacher as a motivator when the teacher inspires students that learning was aimed at gaining achievement, inviting students to be active in learning, providing reinforcement, arousing student interest. The teacher's role as a facilitator when the teacher provides online learning, makes it easy to collect assignments, improves IT skills. The teacher's role as an evaluator when the teacher makes rules in doing assignments, conducts evaluations at each meeting, and corrects student answers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the learning discipline of fourth grade students of SDIT Salsabila 6 Magetan during online learning of Civics on rights and obligations. The research approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research design with a case study approach. Data collection techniques is interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique of this research is based on the interactive analysis techniques of Miles and Huberman. Data validity by Triangulation of sources and use of reference materials. The results of the study indicate that Civics learning on rights and obligations is carried out online through Whatsapp media. Students have shown obedience to learning activities at school as a form of learning obligation for students. Students have not shown their activeness during learning. This is caused by learning materials that are easy to understand, factors that decrease enthusiasm for learning, signal problems, cellphones brought by parents, and online learning that is not yet oriented to students. These factors also affect the inaccuracy of students in completing assignments. During online learning, the rights of students are fulfilled. Students get material rights and obligations, get feedback, and rewards even though it has not been fully implemented.Kata kunci:        Learning Discipline, Online Learning, PPKn, Elementary School

Abstract

Researchers used pop up books with profil pelajar pancasila to help students better understand the concept of berkebhinekaan global. This study is qualitative and uses the classroom action research approach. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, and documentation. Data validity testing techniques include content validity, triangulation of techniques, and sources. Data analysis is descriptive comparative by comparing the values of the pre-action test results of cycle 1, 2, and 3. Researchers also use interactive data analysis, which consists of collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. The results of the pre-action test showed a completeness of 7.14% of 2 students with a mean of 47.14. Then, in cycle one there was an increase in completeness of 39.29%, 11 students with a mean of 63.28. In the second cycle the completeness was 75%, a total of 21 students with a mean of 77.28. In the third cycle, the completeness was 89.29%, a total of 25 students with a mean of 80. According to the research that has been done, the use of pop up books with profil pelajar pancasila material in grade 4 SDN Setono, Surakarta in 2022/2023 can enhance comprehension of the concept of berkebhinekaan global.

Abstract

This study uses classroom action research aimed at improving communication skill by applying the talking chips type cooperative learning model in social studies. The subjects of the research were students of class V of SD Negeri Mangkuyudan No. 02 school year 2019/2020, totalling 30 students. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data using the Miles and Huberman models. The results showed in the first cycle the persentage of students reached 54.5%. students. The results increased in cycle II to 73.5% students. From the research data, it shows that communication skill for students in grade V of Mangkuyudan Elementary School No. 02 increased. The improvement of communication skills after the application of the talking chips type cooperative learning model in social studies.Contribution of this research as knowledge in future research. Talking chips are expected to create fun learning for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe intracurricular learning in implementing Independent Curriculum in class IV Elementary School. This research used qualitative approach with  case study method. The subjects in this research were fourth grade students, fourth grade teachers, and the principal. This research used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and document studies. Data validity testing technique used data source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis technique used interactive analysis by Miles and Huberman, namely by collecting data, reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this research are planning, there is learning purpose flow planning, graduate planning and assessment, use and development of educational equipment. Whereas, for the implementation of the training has done  application of students centered learning, combination of assessment in learning, learning according to the level of learning of students, collaboration between teachers for the purposes of curriculum and learning. However, collaboration with parents and the community does not contribute optimally to the learning process. Reflection, evaluation and improvement of quality implementation of curriculum are also carried out.
