Abstract

Digital literacy is a construction of knowledge and experience for suburban communities in using social media, with various ways used by the community to appreciate the presence of digital technology to help people work online, as well as appreciation from marginal communities along with the development of digital literacy into a construction of knowledge and experiential study. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, focusing on 10 informants who are members of the Mulung Village community, active members of a youth organization, and community facilitators. The research results show that the construction of knowledge and learning experiences in building digital literacy for marginalized communities in marginal communities, which is manifest in community appreciation for the presence of digital technology, which provides convenience, new insights, and benefits as informal learning within the family, acting a mass communication tool, as a forum for the younger generation to discuss, social interaction in cyberspace, and generating consumer behavior in society, as well as an exploration of the younger generation's skills and knowledge in using social media. In conclusion, digital literacy can foster community connection among marginalized communities through mass communication, independent learning experiences, and social media forums, fostering tolerance and empathy, and fostering support for digitalization through a sense of empathy and community support. The study's novelty lies in its in-depth exploration of the interplay between digital literacy, community engagement, and empowerment, particularly for marginalized groups. It demonstrates how digital literacy can foster a sense of belonging, tolerance, and empathy within the community, ultimately leading to a more inclusive and supportive environment for digitalization.

Abstract

Abstract: Women's empowerment is a crucial issue in achieving gender equality as outlined in the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). One relevant strategy is life skills based non-formal education, which provides opportunities for women to improve their skills, independence, and self-confidence. This study aims to describe the implementation of the life skills program, analyze its impact, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors at the Anggrek Bulan Community Learning Center in Banyuwangi. The study employed a case study approach with participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis applied the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that the life skills program was designed in a participatory manner according to the needs of the learners, involving women from planning to evaluation. The impacts include improved technical skills (sewing, batik, digital marketing) and soft skills (public speaking, leadership), enabling women to become more independent and able to develop businesses. In conclusion, life skills education at the Anggrek Bulan Community Learning Center effectively strengthens women's capacity and role, while also serving as a model for contextual and sustainable empowerment. Abstract

The increase in the elderly population as a consequence of demographic transition necessitates the development of social policies that can ensure sustainable welfare. The ROSELA Program in Lamongan Regency serves as an intervention that integrates social protection with family economic empowerment. This study aims to examine the implementation of the ROSELA Program in improving the quality of life of the elderly in Lamongan Regency, as well as to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving various stakeholders, including elderly beneficiaries, program implementers, local government officials, and beneficiaries’ families. The collected data were analyzed descriptively through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and systematic conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the program implementation in the field. The findings indicate that the implementation of the ROSELA Program is carried out through a combination of direct social assistance to the elderly and efforts to strengthen the economic capacity of families as the primary support system for their welfare. Supporting factors of the program include cross-sector collaboration, active involvement of local government at the village level, and the participation of neighborhood units (RT/RW) in the data collection and beneficiary selection processes. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited regional budget capacity, dynamic changes in beneficiary data, and technical challenges in field monitoring activities. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar dengan kemandirian belajar pada warga belajar Program Kesetaraan Paket C di SPNF SKB Trenggalek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 95 warga belajar dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel melalui teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji korelasi Spearman Rho berbantuan SPSS. Hipotesis penelitian menyatakan terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi belajar dengan kemandirian belajar warga belajar Paket C. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar berada pada kategori sedang dan kemandirian belajar juga berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,367 dengan signifikansi 0,000, sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Kekuatan hubungan berada pada kategori lemah, sehingga peningkatan motivasi belajar cenderung diikuti peningkatan kemandirian belajar positif dan signifikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar berkaitan signifikan dengan kemandirian belajar warga belajar Paket C di SPNF SKB Trenggalek.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pengkajian hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dalam membentuk motivasi belajar peserta didik orang dewasa pada pendidikan kesetaraan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan serta tingkat hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan motivasi belajar pada peserta didik program Jaketku di UPT SKB Gresik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Lokasi penelitian di UPT SKB Gresik dengan subjek sebanyak 47 peserta didik Paket C. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, serta didukung wawancara terbatas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji korelasi Spearman Rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga berada pada kategori tinggi dengan indikator dominan berupa dukungan penilaian, emosional, dan instrumental, sedangkan motivasi belajar berada pada kategori sedang dengan dominasi motivasi ekstrinsik. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan koefisien sebesar 0,300 dengan signifikansi 0,040, yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan tingkat hubungan rendah. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan motivasi belajar pada tingkat hubungan rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya tuntutan kemandirian peserta didik dan tingginya pengangguran di tengah persaingan dunia kerja. PKBM Insan Cerdas Indonesia mengembangkan program magang sebagai upaya pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman bagi peserta didik kesetaraan Paket C untuk menumbuhkan kemandirian melalui keterlibatan langsung dalam dunia kerja nyata. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di PKBM Insan Cerdas Indonesia dengan subjek penelitian meliputi kepala PKBM, tutor, peserta didik Paket C, dan mitra magang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program magang dilaksanakan melalui tahapan identifikasi minat dan potensi peserta didik, penempatan dan perizinan mitra, pendampingan dan monitoring, serta presentasi hasil magang. Keterkaitan kemandirian dengan program magang terlihat melalui kemampuan peserta didik menyelesaikan tugas, tanggung jawab kerja, pengambilan keputusan sederhana, dan inisiatif sederhana. Indikator tanggung jawab kerja tampak paling dominan, sementara kemampuan menyelesaikan tugas juga muncul dengan baik. Pengambilan keputusan dan inisiatif sederhana terlihat berkembang secara bertahap dan belum merata pada seluruh peserta didik. Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan program magang meliputi kesiapan peserta didik serta dukungan lingkungan. Faktor penghambat meliputi kendala dalam penyesuaian mitra dan durasi magang yang terbatas menjadi faktor penghambat.
