Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas penyaluran zakat program beasiswa pendidikan di BAZNAS Kabupaten Muara Enim dan untuk mengetahui kontribusi  program beasiswa pendidikan BASNAS Kabupaten Muara Enim terhadap perkembangan kualitas pendidikan di Kabupaten Muara Enim. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis data yang telah penulis peroleh dari hasil wawancara terhadap pengurus BAZNAS Kabupaten Muara Enim. Kemudian dari data yan ada di paparkan, dianalisa serta dibahas guna menjawab permasalahan yang dikemukakan. Dari hasil penelitian ini di ketahui bahwa efektifitas penyaluran zakat program beasiswa pendidikan di BAZNAS Kabupaten Muara Enim sudah berjalan dengan baik meskipun terdapat beberapa kekurangan. Kemudian kontribusi  program beasiswa pendidikan BASNAS Kabupaten Muara Enim terhadap perkembangan kualitas pendidikan di Kabupaten Muara Enim dampaknya sangat dirasakan oleh para penerima bantuan beasiswa tersebut, kesimpulannya bantuan beasiswa pendidikan yang diberikan oleh BASNAS Kabupaten Muara Enim sudah berjalan baik dan dampaknya dirasakan positif.

Abstract

The computer is one of the electronic media that is widely used to facilitate human work in managing data and storing information (data storage) in a practical and efficient manner. In today's all-digital era, computer-based information and communication technology (ICT) is needed for all people, both adults and children. Information and communication technology greatly influences various aspects of life, including education, especially for children, who really need training and an introduction to information and communication technology so that it can help them in their daily academic activities at school. The purpose of this research is to introduce ICT and learning to operate Microsoft Word in grade 5 students at SDN 24 Gelumbang. With this activity, it is hoped that students will be able to operate computers and know the parts of the Microsoft Word application and how their use can help with schoolwork and improve abilities.

Abstract

The Jawi script, a traditional Arabic-based script historically used in Southeast Asia, is a unique characteristic of written communication in Indonesian Islamic boarding schools and constitutes a valuable cultural heritage that requires preservation. This study investigates the management of Jawi script instruction—covering planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation—at the Nurul Islam Seribandung Islamic Boarding School. Employing a qualitative descriptive design with a phenomenological approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The analysis followed three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal several challenges in the current management of Jawi script learning. In terms of planning, the script is not taught as a standalone subject but is embedded within general Islamic lessons using Javanese script, resulting in a lack of structured curriculum. The organizational aspect shows some progress, with task delegation among staff members in place. However, the implementation stage lacks a formal lesson plan or standardized teaching materials specifically dedicated to Jawi script. The evaluation process is present but only conducted at the end of the semester, limiting continuous assessment and feedback opportunities. This study underscores the need for a more structured and systematic approach to Jawi script instruction to ensure its sustainability and effective transmission to future generations. Strengthening instructional planning and integrating Jawi as a distinct subject could enhance both learning outcomes and cultural preservation efforts.

Abstract

In this study, we look at how human resource management (HRM) plays a role in creating and maintaining an Islamic work environment within contemporary organizations. An Islamic work environment is characterized by values like amanah (trustworthiness), ihsan (excellence), adl (justice), integrity, mutual respect, and accountability, all of which are based on Islamic ethical principles. The study highlights how HRM works, including recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation management, and employee relations, and how they serve as strategic tools for embedding these values into the culture of the company. Organisasi dapat menarik orang-orang dengan keyakinan pribadi yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islamic. Program pelatihan terus menerus meningkatkan kesadaran spiritual, keterampilan profesional, dan pilihan moral. Dengan partisipasi pemimpin dan komunikasi yang efektif, brotherhood (ukhuwah) dan tanggung jawab kolektif dipromosikan. Di sisi lain, sistem kompensasi yang adil dan evaluasi kinerja yang adil mencerminkan prinsip keadilan. Selain itu, HRM policies yang mendukung keseimbangan antara kerja dan kehidupan pribadi, kegiatan spiritual, dan perilaku moral membantu mewujudkan lingkungan kerja yang sehat dan harmonis. The article claims that adding Islamic principles to HRM practices increases employee commitment and job satisfaction. It also says that it improves organizational performance and sustainability in the long term. Dengan meletakkan HRM sebagai moral dan strategis driver, organisasi dapat membuat a productive work environment yang balances material achievement with spiritual growth. Ultimately, Islamic-based HRM encourages ethical behavior, strengthens organizational identity, and supports the development of high-quality human resources grounded in faith and professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of spirituality in character development of Human Resources (HR) through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The study examines peer-reviewed articles published, retrieved from reputable academic databases. The selection process follows the PRISMA 2020 guidelines to ensure methodological transparency and rigor. The findings indicate that spirituality functions as a source of meaningful work, moral reinforcement, and intrinsic motivation that contribute to individual character formation. The concepts of workplace spirituality and spiritual leadership show positive relationships with work engagement, organizational commitment, psychological well-being, and HR performance. The integration of spiritual values into HR management policies and practices fosters an organizational culture grounded in integrity, responsibility, and sustainability. This study concludes that spirituality-based character development represents a holistic approach relevant to addressing contemporary organizational challenges. Further empirical research is recommended to examine contextual models of spirituality integration in HR development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for retaining qualified teachers through a humanistic management approach in schools to ensure sustainable educational quality and organizational stability. The research employed a qualitative case study design, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using thematic techniques. The findings indicate that teacher retention is influenced not only by financial factors but also by empathetic leadership, job satisfaction, supportive organizational culture, and opportunities for professional development. The humanistic management approach effectively creates a work environment that respects individual dignity, encourages active participation, and supports teachers’ psychological well-being. Participative and communicative school leadership plays a crucial role in strengthening organizational commitment and teacher loyalty, while a positive organizational culture and continuous professional development enhance teachers’ emotional attachment to the institution. Therefore, effective teacher retention strategies require a holistic approach grounded in human values to improve satisfaction, commitment, and the overall quality of education sustainably.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era demands the transformation of human resource development (HRD) in Islamic educational institutions to balance digital competencies with Islamic values. This article aims to analyze strategies for developing human resources for teachers and educational staff in the context of Islamic education management in the Society 5.0 era. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method. The findings indicate that the most relevant strategies include digital competency training, mentorship programs, spiritual guidance, technology-based performance evaluation, and innovation in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum based on AI and big data. These strategies are expected to enhance the quality of human resources in Islamic education institutions, making them adaptive to technological disruption while maintaining their Islamic identity.

Abstract

This study aims to conceptually analyze the relationship between Human Resource Management (HRM) practices and teacher performance, with work engagement as a mediating variable. The study employed a qualitative approach with library research. Data were obtained through literature analysis over the past five years (2020–2025) from reputable international journals and accredited national journals. The synthesis results indicate that strategic HRM practices such as continuous training, competency-based performance evaluation systems, fair compensation, and transformational leadership significantly influence work engagement. Furthermore, work engagement was shown to be the primary psychological mechanism mediating the relationship between HRM practices and teacher performance improvement. These findings reinforce Strategic Human Resource Management theory and research findings in The International Journal of Human Resource Management (2022) and Human Resource Management Journal (2021). This study concludes that optimizing strategic and humanistic-based HRM systems is key to continuously improving the quality of education.

Abstract

This study reconstructs the conceptual relationship between modern professionalism in human resource management (HRM) and Islamic spirituality within an integrative framework. Mainstream HRM literature predominantly conceptualizes professionalism as a rational-instrumental system grounded in competency, performance metrics, and strategic alignment, often presuming value neutrality. In contrast, Islamic management emphasizes tawhid, amanah, and ihsan as ethical foundations of work, yet lacks systematic operational integration into contemporary HRM models. Employing a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review of international publications (2020-2024), this study conducts a critical-conceptual synthesis to address this theoretical gap. The findings demonstrate that the perceived dichotomy between professionalism and spirituality can be reconciled through a value-based HRM paradigm integrating structural accountability with spiritually grounded moral responsibility. The study contributes theoretically by redefining professionalism as inherently value-embedded, offering a holistic and ethically grounded alternative for contemporary HRM theory and practice.

Abstract

This study examines the role of human resource management based on knowledge management in improving the quality of Islamic education. The research is motivated by the need for adaptive and knowledge-based management in educational institutions amid globalization and digital transformation. This study aims to analyze how the integration of knowledge management in human resource management contributes to sustainable educational quality improvement. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by reviewing relevant literature, including books, journals, and previous studies. The findings indicate that knowledge management plays a strategic role in enhancing teachers' competencies through processes of knowledge creation, storage, sharing, and application. The implementation of knowledge management encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within educational institutions. However, several challenges remain, such as the lack of knowledge-sharing culture, limited technological infrastructure, and insufficient leadership support. Therefore, strengthening organizational culture, improving digital literacy, and optimizing leadership roles are essential to ensure effective implementation. In conclusion, human resource management based on knowledge management significantly contributes to improving the quality of Islamic education in a holistic and sustainable manner.
