Abstract

Ayu Utami's novel Saman used many metaphors to express the messages to be conveyed. These metaphors are formed in various ways. Translation as a means of relaying the ST message into the TT must be able to transfer the messages that the metaphors convey equally. This article contains the result of research on the methods used to translate the metaphor in the Indonesian version of the Saman novel to the French version. The first phase of analysis was to make a classification of metaphor types in Saman of the Indonesian version. The second step, was to analyze the method used in translating themetaphor found in the French version of the novel. The results show that there are some unusual metaphors in the source language (SL). In general, the metaphor translated in French used literal methods of translation. Some translation errors are also found

Abstract

The monetary crisis since 1998 that hit Indonesia, has a negative impact on the tourism business, which is marked by a decrease in the number of foreign tourist visits that have an impact on tourism economic activities. On that basis, in 2018 the Indonesian government has emphasized the importance of empowering existing natural potential and becoming a regional characteristic as a potential tourism activity. One of the programs launched by the area in Toraja is the improvement and management of agrotourism (agrotourism) with the image of the Toraja region, as the Coffee Regency. Based on the results of the research, one solution was found, namely the need for a variant of a tourist attraction that supports the main tourist attractions of Toraja, Tradition Culture (graves) and Tongkonan traditional houses. The potential variation of objects to be developed in Toraja is agrotourism which so far has not been fully developed. In developing agrotourism in Toraja, it is important to improve services from aspects of specific field languages (agrotourism), one of which is French. For this reason, the solution that can be given to tourism stakeholders is to provide language skills training through understanding and using French variants in agro-tourism. The results of this workshop show that participants are able to explain vocabulary and speak (communicate orally) in French in the field of agrotourism

Abstract

Researchers, together with the manager of the Asri Garbage Bank, formed a collaboration to socialize the habit of selecting waste. This kitchen waste will be made into compost and sold to the surrounding community. This activity aims to familiarize the people in Green Petunia Housing with managing waste to reduce the amount of garbage. The method used in this service is the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method, with stages through training, account creation practices, and mentoring. The training is carried out in three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results obtained from this activity are that people are increasingly aware of the importance of selecting waste and getting used to processing waste to reduce the amount of plastic waste around them.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of religious teacher murottal art therapy in reducing anxiety in the elderly. The research method uses qualitative methods and makes direct observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The total sample is six respondents. The subjects of this study were elderly people who experienced anxiety at the "Joyah Uken" nursing home. Panti, Bebesen District, Central Aceh District. Researchers divided two informants, namely, the main informant and the key informant. Then, data collection is observation, in-depth interviews with six informants, and document review related to the anxiety of the elderly at the Nursing Home "Joyah Uken" Bebesen District, Central Aceh District. Data reduction with Categorize data according to needs. The presentation of data is done descriptively, and finally drawing, conclusions and verification. The results showed that the study of Art Therapy murottal Quran was able to have a positive impact on the anxiety of the elderly in nursing homes. Among them is being able to eliminate anxiety about death by increasing religiosity so that the elderly feel ready and are not worried about the material and non-material things when they die. The conclusion of the study is that art therapy murottal Quran can reduce anxiety levels and increase immunity in the elderly who experience anxiety in nursing homes.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Baja memiliki keunggulan karena dapat menyesuaikan bentuk dalam sebuah perancangan dan mempercepat waktu konstruksi. Salah satunya adalah balok kastela yang terbuat dari baja. Namun, karena ukuran penampangnya yang tipis, mereka rentan terhadap deformasi dan ketidakstabilan yang terjadi pada balok yang sering disebut efek torsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari bentang efektif torsi pada balok kastela 225 x 75 x 7 x 8 akibat beban gempa statis dengan mengevaluasi beberapa bentang 3.1 – 3.5-meter menggunakan software etabs v.20. Dari hasil analisis struktur efek torsi pada bentang balok sumbu x dapat untuk bentang efektif balok kastela terhadap torsi akibat beban gempa adalah pada bentang 3.3 m dengan torsi untuk gempa statis sumbu x sebesar 8 Nm dan gempa statis sumbu y sebesar 2.7 Nm. Efektifitas torsi pada bentang balok sumbu y pada balok kastela terhadap torsi akibat beban gempa adalah pada bentang 3.3 m dengan torsi untuk gempa statis sumbu x dengan nilai 5.6 Nm dan gempa statis sumbu y 4.1 Nm. Kata Kunci: Software etabs, torsi, analisis struktur ABSTRACT The use of steel material offers benefits in terms of accelerating construction time and adapting the shape of steel beams to meet design requirements. One of them is a steel beam with battlements. However, because to the narrow nature of steel beams, there is a possibility of instability in the form of deformation occurring outside the loading plane. This type of deformation is commonly referred to as torsion in beams. The objective of this study is to determine the optimal torsion span in castella beams with dimensions of 225 x 75 x 7 x 8 under the influence of a static seismic load. The span range being considered is 3.1m to 3.5m. The analysis will be conducted using Etabs v.20 software. The torsion on the x-axis beam span is evident from the results of the structural analysis conducted using ETABS v.20 software. The castella beam has an effective span of 3.3 m for resisting torsion caused by earthquake stresses. It can withstand a torsion of 8 Nm for x-axis static earthquakes and y-axis static earthquakes. The value is 2.7 Newton meters (Nm). The torsional force acting on the y-axis beam span. The castella beam has an effective span of 3.3 m for resisting torsion caused by earthquake stresses. It can withstand a torsion of 5.6 Nm along the x-axis and 4.1 Nm along the y-axis for static earthquakes. Keywords: Etabs software, torsion, structural analysis

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara peringkat kedua penghasil sampah plastik di dunia . Hal ini karena jumlah penduduk Indonesia menduduki peringkat ke 4 di dunia yang mana hampir 80% masyarakat belum menyadari tentang pemilahan, penggunaan dan bahaya sampah dan semakin diperparah sejak Pandemi Covid 19. Pemerintah telah mengupayakan segala cara agar dapat menekan laju pertumbuhan produksi sampah plastik dengan menggeluarkan dana, menetapkan peraturan, menggalakkan program 5R. Salah satu upaya masyarakat adalah dengan memanfaatkan sampah menjadi material utama beton. Sampah sikat gigi plastik (Toothbrush Plastic Waste/TPW) adalah sampah yang tidak benilai namun produksinya sangat besar karena merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok kebersihan. Tekstur yang kuat, tahan panas dan tidak lapuk merupakan faktor utama pemilihan sebagai material subtitusi. TPW dipotong dengan Panjang 1-2 cm, komposisi prosentase TWP sebagai subtitusi agregat kasar diambil berdasarkan volume agregat kasar. Hasil penelitian membuktikan terjadi peningkatan kuat tekan hingga 28 hari. Toothbrush Plastic Waste of concrete pada kondisi sebelum dipanaskan yang terbaik adalah (TPWC) 2,5% memiliki nilai kuat tekan sebesar 15,83 Mpa dan berat isi sebesar 12,39 kg.

Abstract

Fokus dari penelitian ini pada penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif Crossword Puzzle dan hasil belajar siswa. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah guru dan seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 041 Inpres Tandassura Kabupaten Polewali Mandar yang berjumlah 16 orang pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada hasil observasi guru siklus I pertemuan pertama berada pada kategori kurang dan pada pertemuan kedua berada pada kategori cukup, sedangkan hasil observasi siswa menunjukkan pada pertemuan pertama berada pada kategori kurang dan pada pertemuan kedua berada pada kategori cukup. Pada siklus II hasil observasi guru menunjukkan pada pertemuan pertama berada pada kategori baik dan pada pertemuan kedua berada pada kategori baik sekali, sedangkan hasil observasi siswa menunjukkan pada pertemuan pertama berada pada kategori baik dan pada pertemuan kedua berada pada kategori baik sekali. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, Hasil belajar PKn siswa yang diperoleh pada siklus I dengan persentase ketuntasan hanya tiga puluh delapan persen. Kemudian pada siklus II persentase ketuntasan siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi delapan puluh dua persen. Dari hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif Crossword Puzzle untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas IV SDN 041 Inpres Tandassura Kabupaten Polewali Mandar telah berhasil.

Abstract

Online learning serves as a lesson between educators and students by using an internet network that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. Of course, the online method has a good level of effectiveness if it can be implemented optimally but also vice versa if there are still many obstacles in the implementation poses, it will also cause several problems whose consequences will have an impact or be felt by educators and students in the school. This time the author will conduct a study carried out at Sribasuki State Elementary School 1, Kalirejo District, Central Lampung Regency about the implementation of online learning at the school. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of effectiveness of online learning at the elementary school level. The method collected in data collection is a question and answer (interview) to the resource persons, namely several students, parents of students, and educators (teachers) directly or via WhatsApp. The results of the study showed various opinions from students, parents, and educators (teachers). From these various opinions, it can be concluded that the online method is very helpful in the learning process and it is considered that the method is quite appropriate to be chosen during the current Covid-19 Pandemic, but on the other hand, the level of effectiveness is still assessed below the learning carried out face-to-face. Therefore, some students, parents, and educators (teachers) really hope that the learning process can be carried out face-to-face as soon as possible.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Oktober 2021 dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui luasan kawasan hutan yang telah teralih fungsi di hulu Sungai Sabilambo dan Sungai Balandete dan pengaruhnya terhadap potensi peningkatan debit banjir di kedua sungai tersebut serta alternatif mitigasi yang bisa dilakukan untuk mencegah dampak negatif akibat kegiatan alih fungsi tersebut. Diharapkan dengan adanya penelitian ini dapat memberikan informasi kepada semua pihak yang terkait dengan kegiatan alih fungsi lahan didalam kawasan hutan. Kebutuhan data antara lain data curah hujan, data debit sungai, peta kawasan hutan serta peta tutupan lahan yang dihasilkan dari analisis data SPOT 6/7 perekaman tahun 2013 dan 2017 yang bersumber dari LAPAN dibuat dengan menggunakan metode maximum livelihood classification, dianalisis dengan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil dari analisis tersebut diperoleh bahwa pada tahun 2013 kawasan hutan yang teralih fungsi sebesar 7.34 % dan pada tahun 2017 sebesar 21,66%. terindikasi telah teralih fungsi ini adalah nilai TSS permukaan di Perairan Teluk Kendari tertinggi berada di sekitar aliran Sungai Wanggu berkisar antara 760-781 mg/L, sedangkan terendah berada di mulut teluk yaitu berkisar antara 672-693 mg/L. Kecepatan arus adalah parameter kualitas air yang memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap distribusi total suspended solid di Teluk Kendari.
