Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa memecahkan masalah. Kemampuan tersebut mencakup pemahaman mendalam yang melibatkan aspek konseptual dan potensi munculnya proses berpikir pseudo selama menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Penting bagi para pendidik untuk memahami kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah, dengan mempertimbangkan kemungkinan terjadinya proses berpikir pseudo selama proses pemecahan masalah. Berupa penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian 30 siswa SMP kelas VII yang dianalisis lebih lanjut sebanyak 3 siswa, dikategorikan berdasarkan kemampuan matematisnya yaitu kemampuan tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan triangulasi data yaitu tes kemampuan, observasi dan wawancara. Tahapan dalam proses analisis dilakukan dengan reduksi, penyajian dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami konteks pikiran pseudo dalam langkah pemecahan masalah yang berbeda, subjek KT mengalami pikiran pseudo dalam tahap merencanakan dan memeriksa, sementara KS pada tahap melaksanakan dan memeriksa, dan KR mengalami hal serupa pada seluruh langkah polya. Diharapkan untuk penelitian selanjutnya agar dapat melibatkan pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat mengurangi pikiran pseudo dalam proses berpikir siswa ketika memecahkan masalah matematika.

Abstract

Educational games have become a popular learning medium among students. "The Journey of Sempoamen" is an educational game-based mathematics learning medium on the topic of systems of linear equations in two variables (SPLDV). The purpose of this study is to obtain student responses to determine the practicality level of the developed medium. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques in this study used interviews and student response questionnaires. The subjects of this study were eighth-grade junior high school students in Klaten Regency, Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the developed medium has met the criteria for being highly practical, with an overall average score of 3.80. The display aspect received an average score of 3.78, categorized as highly practical. For the material aspect, the medium received an average score of 3.79, also categorized as highly practical. In terms of language, the developed medium received an average score of 3.80, indicating it is highly practical. The ease of use aspect received an average score of 3.85, categorized as highly practical. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the development of the educational game medium "The Journey of Sempoamen" is highly practical and ready to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru SD Negeri Mangunharjo dalam pembuatan alat peraga literasi numerasi melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan alat peraga literasi numerasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian ini mengunakan metode sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Sosialisasi dilakukan dengan metode ceramah. Pelatihan dan Pendampingan dilakukan secara praktek langsung dengan peserta. Peserta pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru SD Negeri Mangunharjo Kota Semarang. Kemampuan guru dalam pembuatan alat peraga literasi dan numerasi dilihat dari observasi dan pemberian angket. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masayarat ini diperoleh bahwa adanya sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan alat peraga literasi dan numerasi sehingga guru-guru dapat menghasilkan produk alat peraga literasi dan numerasi berupa pop up book. Peserta memberikan respon sangat baik dan antusias dalam kegaiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini. Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan guru-guru SD Negeri Mangunharjo dalam pembuatan alat peraga literasi dan numerasi berupa pop up book.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy relates to how people apply knowledge in real-life situations. Based on the results of PISA from 2000 to 2018, the mathematical literacy of Indonesian students is still low. The use of inappropriate teaching media is one cause of this issue, thus there is a need for technology-integrated innovation to help improve mathematical literacy. The research is experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The implementation is carried out systematically by administering a pretest, then treatment, followed by a posttest. The pretest results had an average of 41.44 and the posttest results were 75.49, indicating an increase in average test scores. The pre-analysis test indicates the research instruments are feasible to use, while the paired sample t-test results show 0.000 < 0.05, indicating the VR Tour website media with an ethnomathematics approach has a significant effect on mathematical literacy. Further data analysis from the n-gain test shows 0.30 < 0.5870 < 0.70, which has medium criteria, thus indicating an increase in mathematical literacy before and after the VR Tour website media with an ethnomathematics approach. The conclusion is that the VR Tour website media with an ethnomathematics approach is effective in improving mathematical literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a funethnomath learning media based on a virtual reality tour in the form of a website using a valid ethnomathematics approach. This research is a development type or RnD with the ADDIE model, consisting of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, which is limited to the development stage. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The validation questionnaire is given to material and media experts. The research instrument uses a validation questionnaire for media and material experts. The media expert validation questionnaire has several assessment aspects, including appearance, software engineering, and visual communication. The material expert validation questionnaire has several assessment aspects, including material design and language. The data analysis of the questionnaire is determined according to the media validity assessment guidelines. The results of this study show that the developed media has valid criteria with a final score of 3.015 in the media expert validation with assessment aspects of appearance, software engineering, and visual communication, and a final score of 3.0625 in the material expert validation with assessment aspects of material design and final value.

Abstract

The mathematics teaching materials used by teachers today are still printed teaching materials provided by the government. As a result, it is ineffective to improve students' learning outcomes because they seem discouraged and bored while learning. Thus, it is important to design teaching materials that utilize technological developments so that they are easily accessible to students to learn mathematics anytime and anywhere. This study aims to design a valid E-Module with an Open Ended approach based on Gambyong Dance Ethnomathematics on grade VIII SPLDV material. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research methodology with the ADDIE development model which is limited to the analysis, design and development stages. The data analysis techniques used include needs analysis, media expert validation analysis and material experts. This study produced an E-Module design along with the results of E-Module validation from media experts with an average assessment of 3.5 which is classified as a valid category and material experts with an average assessment of 3.6 which is classified as a valid category. The average combined E-Module assessment from media experts and material experts obtained a score of 3.54 in the valid category. This shows that the E-Module design is feasible to be tested on students during math learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Students face challenges in understanding SPLDV material because the use of learning media tends to be monotonous and teaching methods are still teacher-focused. In addition, there is no development of teaching media with maximum use of technology in accordance with developments in this Society Era. E-LKPD is a media that meets these criteria. The purpose of this research is to develop E-LKPD learning media with an open-ended approach. The open-ended approach E-LKPD gives learners the freedom to explore their own answers from various points of view and perspectives which are used as mathematics teaching media on SPLDV material. This development research adopts the ADDIE model, focusing on 3 stages, namely;analysis,design, anddevelopment. The validity test was conducted by two mathematics education lecturers and a junior high school mathematics teacher. The assessment in the media validity test is the aspect of language presentation and media implementation. While the assessment on the material validity test is the feasibility of the material, evaluation, language and suitability with the open-ended approach. The validity results show that the E-LKPD developed received a score of 90.3%, which indicates that this media is very valid and feasible to use in mathematics learning activities. Keywords: E-LKPD, Open-ended, Validity ABSTRAK Peserta didik menghadapi tantangan dalam memahami materi SPLDV karena penggunaan media pembelajaran yang cenderung monoton dan metode pengajaran yang masih berfokus pada guru.. Selain itu belum adanya pengembangan media ajar dengan pemanfaatan teknologi yang maksimal sesuai dengan perkembangan di Era Society ini. E-LKPD merupakan media yang memenuhi kriteria tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran E-LKPD dengan pendekatan open-ended. E-LKPD pendekatan open-ended memberikan peserta didik kebebasan untuk mengeksplor jawaban mereka sendiri dari berbagai sudut pandang dan perspektif yang digunakan sebagai media ajar matematika pada materi SPLDV. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengadopsi model ADDIE, dengan fokus pada 3 tahapan yaitu ; analisis (analyze), desain (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Uji validitas dilakukan oleh dua dosen pendidikan matematika dan seorang guru matematika tingkat SMP. Penilaian pada uji validitas media yaitu aspek penyajian kebahasaan dan keterlaksanaan media. Sedangkan penilaian pada uji validitas materi yaitu kelayakan materi, evaluasi, kebahasaan dan kesesuaian dengan pendekatan open-ended. Hasil validitas menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan mendapatkan nilai 90,3%, yang menandakan bahwa media ini sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar matematika. Abstract

Proses pembelajaran yang diterapkan selama ini dinilai membosankan bagi siswa dikarenakan minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Akibatnya kegiatan pembelajaran menjadi kurang efektif sehingga berdampak pada menurunnya hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, maka perlu dirancang media pembelajaran yang sejalan dengan era perkembangan teknologi yaitu penggunaan video pembelajaran interaktif. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang video pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Etnomatematika Tari Gambyong yang valid. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang hanya berfokus pada tahap analisis, desain, dan pengembangan. Teknik analisis data yang diterapkan adalah analisis kebutuhan, serta analisis validasi dari ahli media dan ahli materi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan desain video pembelajaran interaktif yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli media dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 94% yang tergolong sangat valid, dan oleh ahli materi dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 94% yang juga tergolong sangat valid. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa persentase rata-rata gabungan sebesar 94% tergolong sangat valid. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran interaktif yang dirancang layak untuk diujicobakan kepada siswa selama proses pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era has brought significant changes to mathematics learning through the integration of digital technology, providing new possibilities for a more effective and enjoyable learning process. This research aimed to assess teacher and student responses to the use of E-LKPD with an open-ended approach on the topic of SPLDV. Using a quantitative approach with a descriptive design, the study employed interviews and questionnaires as data collection methods, involving teachers and 8th-grade students from a public junior high school in Grobogan Regency. The findings showed that the E-LKPD had a very high level of practicality, with average scores of 86.6% from teachers and 86.5% from students. Teachers stated that this media aligns with the curriculum, provides high-quality material, and supports interactive learning, while students found it engaging, easy to use, and helpful in understanding SPLDV material. This media has proven effective in increasing student engagement and abilities, though further development is needed for interactive features and question variations. The results indicate that the E-LKPD with an open-ended approach is suitable for mathematics learning, creating a more personal and interactive learning experience that facilitates better understanding of the material and improves learning outcomes. Keywords: E-LKPD, open-ended approach, SPLDV, teacher response, student response Era Society 5.0 telah memberikan perubahan besar dalam pembelajaran matematika melalui integrasi teknologi digital, yang memberikan kemungkinan baru untuk proses belajar yang lebih efektif dan menyenangkan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap penggunaan E-LKPD pendekatan open-ended pada materi SPLDV. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif, menggunakan wawancara dan angket sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru peserta didik kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri Kabupaten Grobogan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD ini memiliki tingkat kepraktisan yang sangat tinggi, dengan rata-rata skor dari guru mencapai 86,6%.dan respon peserta didik sebesar 86,5%. Guru menyatakan bahwa media ini sesuai dengan kurikulum, memiliki kualitas materi yang baik, serta mendukung pembelajaran yang interaktif. Peserta didik menilai E-LKPD menarik, mudah digunakan, dan membantu pemahaman materi SPLDV. Media ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kemampuan peserta didik. Namun, pengembangan lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk fitur interaktif dan variasi soal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD dengan pendekatan open-ended sesuai untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika guna menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih personal dan interaktif. Pendekatan ini diharapkan mempermudah peserta didik dalam memahami materi dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mereka. Kata kunci: E-LKPD, pendekatan open-ended, SPLDV, respon guru, respon peserta didik

Abstract

An independent learning curriculum that emphasizes culture is needed to recognize more deeply about the culture around and in Indonesia. In this era significant changes occurred in the curriculum, leading to the development of more specific skills and a focus on technology and innovation. Ethnomathematics is one of the learning approaches that relates local culture in mathematics learning. There is a need to develop teaching materials that can improve mathematical skills in students and can be easily understood in accordance with presenting social and cultural skills in their area. Researchers raised the issue of local culture, especially the traditional food Lepet Ketan to be used as a learning resource through ethnomathematical studies in it. To be clearer, the author here will examine the relationship between each form of food type and mathematical elements. This research is a type of research and development R&D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive data analysis technique using an assessment instrument in the form of a questionnaire involving Media Experts and Material Experts Based on the data obtained through the questionnaire assessment sheet, it can be said that the module is suitable for use. The ethnomathematics-based mathematics module on the flat building material developed is Very Feasible based on validity criteria according to the validator's assessment. Based on the results of the validation of material experts, a percentage of 98%, media experts 98%.
