Abstract

Matematika memiliki peranan penting dipelajari sejak dini karena matematika dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir logis, analitis, sistematis, kritis, kreatif dan kemampuan bekerja sama peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media video pembelajaran bangun ruang sisi datar berbasis etnomatematika yang disesuaikan dengan teori kemapuan berpikir geometris Van Hiele. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan video pembelajaran ini adalah metode pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development , Implementation, dan Evaluation). Video pembelajaran bangun ruang sisi datar berbasis etnomatematika dengan metode problem based learning mendapat nilai sangat valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir geometris siswa. Penelitian selanjutnya direkomendasikan untuk mengembangkan media video berbasis etnomatematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir geometris yang mencakup semua materi bangun ruang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis inquiry nuansa komik etnomatematika materi transformasi geometri guna meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang dibatasi pada tahap analisis, perencanaan, dan pengembangan. Instrumen pengumpulan databerupa angket validasi yang diberikan kepada tiga ahli media dan tiga ahli materi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor rata-rata 88,43% dengan kriteria “Sangat Valid”, terdiri dari validasi ahli media sebesar 86,23% dan validasi ahli materi sebesar 90,63%. E-modul ini dilengkapi dengan komik etnomatematika budaya lokal serta pembelejaran berbasis inquiry yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam memahami materi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang kembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif dan relevan yang berpotensi meningkatkan pemahaman serta kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is an essential competency in mathematics learning because it forms the foundation for developing critical, logical, and innovative thinking skills. Therefore, research on its development is of great importance. This study aims to systematically describe research trends in the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to improve students’ mathematical problem-solving skills. The approach used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. A total of 25 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were analyzed based on publication year, educational level, research subjects, and research methods. The findings show that publications from 2021 to 2025 fluctuate, with 2 (8%), 7 (28%), 5 (20%), 8 (32%), and 3 (12%) articles, respectively. Based on the educational level, 9 (36%) studies were conducted at the elementary level, 10 (40%) at the junior high school level, 5 (20%) at the senior high school/vocational level, and 1 (4%) at the university level. Regarding research subjects, 24 (96%) articles involved students and 1 (4%) involved university students. In terms of methodology, quantitative research was more dominant than qualitative, with 17 (68%) using quantitative approaches and 8 (32%) using qualitative ones. Overall, the SLR results indicate that studies on the implementation of the PBL model in mathematical problem-solving are predominantly quantitative, mostly conducted at the elementary and junior high school levels, and exhibit fluctuating publication trends from 2021 to 2025. Future research is recommended to expand educational levels, diversify research subjects, and combine various methodological approaches for more comprehensive findings.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in students' conceptual understanding skills using the corner clock teaching aid and the corner clock demonstration video media in class IV MI Negeri 1 Pati. This research is an experimental research with a quantitative method approach. The result of this study is that there is a significant difference in students' conceptual understanding skills between those who use the corner clock teaching aid and the corner clock demonstration video on the Angle Measurement material for class IV MI Negeri 1 Pati. The ability to understand concepts of students who use visual aids is higher than students who use video clock corners, as evidenced by the average value of the increase in the first experimental class by 0.67 and the second experimental class by 0.58.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the spatial abilities of students with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. The type of research used in this study is qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects consisted of 21 students in class VIII, MTs Al Hidayah Sadeng, Semarang. Data collection techniques include tests, anchors, and interviews. The results of this study showed that students with high spatial and moderate visual and auditory learning styles were able to understand the problem by explaining what was known and being asked correctly. And it's able to relate concepts so that it can find the right formula and solve the given problem correctly and precisely. Meanwhile, students with moderate abilities and a kinetic learning style are only able to write down what is known and asked. And yet it has not been able to relate concepts so that it cannot find the right formula and not solve the given problem properly and precisely. While students with low spatial abilities with visual and kinesthetic learning styles are able to write down what is known and asked, subjects with auditory learning styles write but are less precise. Students with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles have not been able to relate concepts, so they have not been able to find the right formula and cannot solve the given problem correctly and precisely. Students with high spatial, medium, or low abilities cannot describe objects based on what is known and asked.

Abstract

Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara sistematis berbagai studi mengenai penerapan pendekatan etnomatematika dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan literasi matematis siswa di Indonesia. Namun kenyataanya kemampuan literasi matematis siswa di Indonesia masih sangat rendah hal ini dipengaruhi rendahnya pemahaman guru minimnya media pembelajaran berbasis budaya, serta belum meratanya penelitian di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pelatihan guru, pengembangan media inovatif, dan perluasan studi di daerah dengan kekayaan budaya lokal untuk mendukung literasi matematis secara menyeluruh dan kontekstual. Dilanjut dalam studi PISA skor Indonesia berada di 70 dari 81 negara. Dengan hasil tersebut PISA menegaskan perlunya pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Etnomatematika menjadi pendekatan potensial karena mengaitkan konsep matematika dengan budaya lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap 51 artikel terbitan tahun 2019-2025 dari berbagai database nasional. Artikel dianalisis berdasarkan kriteria karakteristik budaya, metode pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, dan deskripsi penerapan etnomatematika. Hasil menunjukan bahwa pendekatan etnomatematika efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi matematis melalui peningkatan motivasi, pemahaman konsep, dan keterkaitan budaya lokal. Penelitian paling banyak dilakukan di jenjang SMP dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan terpusat di Pulau Jawa. Dengan hasil tersebut, diharapkan para pendidik dapat menerapkan metode pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis etnomatematika serta mengembangkan media yang sesuai dengan budaya lokal sebagai upaya meningkatkan literasi matematis siswa secara menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi di era Society 5.0 memberikan pengaruh besar pada dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran digital. Namun, media yang tersedia belum sepenuhnya memenui kebutuhan siswa, khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika yang dianggap abstrak dan sulit dipahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan siswa terhadap e-modul berbasis inquiry nuansa komik etnomatematika materi transformasi geometri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa di salah satu SMA di Kota Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa membutuhkan media pembelajaran digital yang fleksibel, kontekstual, dan menarik. Sebanyak 81,29% siswa menyatakan setuju terhadap pengembangan e-modul berbasis inquiry nuansa komik etnomatematika. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan karena hanya dilakukan di satu sekolah dengan jumlah responden terbatas. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk melibatkan lebih banyak responden serta menguji efektivutas e-modul melalui uji coba pada pembelajaran langsung.

Abstract

Flat-sided space shapes are mathematical materials in the scope of geometry which discusses cubes, blocks, pyramids, and prisms. In this material, students often find it difficult to visualize objects and relate them to contextual problems. The role of teachers in overcoming these problems is certainly very necessary. One way that can be used is to utilize technology to create learning media. The application software that can be used is Articulate Storyline 3. This research aims to produce a learning media design for flat-sided building materials called "Geometrical Land". This research is part of development research which is limited to the development stage only. The stages carried out in this research include: needs analysis, media design, and media validation. The instrument used is a media expert and material expert validation sheet. There are 6 validators, consisting of 3 material expert validators and 3 media expert validators. The results of this development research are in the form of a percentage of the validation test scoring of material experts and media experts. The average percentage of validity test results for material experts was 86.18% and media experts showed 84.61%. This states that the learning media "Geometrical Land" is 'very valid' for use according to the conversion level of achievement.
