Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif dan interaktif. Namun, pembelajaran aljabar di tingkat SMP masih menghadapi permasalahan berupa rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai bahan ajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain e-modul interaktif dengan pendekatan discovery learning berbantuan gamifikasi bingo pada materi operasi hitung aljabar yang valid dan layak digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang dibatasi pada tahap define, design, dan development. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Sepuluh November 2 Semarang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi ahli media dan lembar validasi ahli materi. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 3,69 dari ahli media dan 3,50 dari ahli materi, dengan nilai keseluruhan 3,59 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Dengan demikian, e-modul interaktif pendekatan discovery learning berbantuan gamifikasi bingo dinyatakan layak digunakan dan berpotensi mendukung peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk menguji kepraktisan dan efektivitas e-modul dalam pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-LKPD berbasis digital dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) pada materi Teorema Pythagoras sebagai upaya mendukung kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas ahli materi, ahli media, satu guru matematika kelas VIII, serta 32 siswa kelas VIII SMP sebagai responden uji kepraktisan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar validasi dan angket respons guru serta siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan skala persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-LKPD berbasis TaRL memiliki tingkat validitas yang sangat tinggi, dengan persentase penilaian ahli media sebesar 88% dan ahli materi sebesar 92%. Uji kepraktisan menunjukkan bahwa e-LKPD berada pada kategori sangat praktis, ditunjukkan oleh respons guru sebesar 91% dan respons siswa sebesar 86%. E-LKPD dirancang dengan diferensiasi level pembelajaran, meliputi level perlu pendampingan (zona 3R), level cakap (zona 2S), dan level mahir (zona 1T), sehingga mampu menyesuaikan pembelajaran dengan kemampuan siswa serta memfasilitasi pengembangan komunikasi matematis secara bertahap. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, e-LKPD berbasis TaRL dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar digital pendukung pembelajaran matematika pada materi Teorema Pythagoras.

Abstract

This study intends to assess the validity of the media and methods used in developing digital learning tools based on ethnomathematics for junior high schools. The research employed the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The review followed the PRISMA guidelines by collecting articles through Publish or Perish with sources from Google Scholar within the period of 2020–2025. The keywords used were “ethnomathematics” and “digital media.” From the selection process, 15 articles were found to meet the inclusion criteria articles were identified as meeting the inclusion criteria. Based on the analysis, it was revealed that digital media such as electronic modules (e-modules), electronic student worksheets (E-LKPD), digital comics, educational videos, interactive PowerPoint presentations, and Android-based applications effectively integrated mathematical concepts (geometry, geometric transformations, and circles) with local cultural elements such as batik motifs, traditional houses, and handicrafts. These media demonstrated a high level of validity, all categorized as feasible, practical, and effective. The analyzed articles reported average validity scores (≥ 76%), practicality (≥ 80%), and effectiveness in improving learning mastery up to 81.00%. The use of such media enhanced students’ mathematical understanding, communication skills, and cultural appreciation through interactive features. This study provides insights into the types of digital formats most frequently utilized at the junior high school level.

Abstract

The demands of the development are increasingly advanced with the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, of course, requires teachers to be proficient in mastering teacher competencies, not least in the use of learning media. But in the learning process there is still a lack of learning media. In addition to the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, teachers are still limited in the preparation of administration and learning devices only. In the implementation of the learning process there are still many teachers who use the expository learning model. This is due to the low level of knowledge of SD Negeri Meteseh teachers in making innovations and learning media that implement scientific approaches. The low knowledge of teachers about learning media innovations has the effect of less motivated students in the learning process, especially 3-dimensional learning media. For this reason, the proposing team provided a solution in solving these problems, namely by planning a training program for the teachers of SD Negeri Meteseh in making Learning Media. Learning media in the form of Pop Up Book for elementary school teachers. The result of this activity is that most teachers have never received pop up book learning media training. The teachers gave a positive response to the activities carried out. Teacher creativity in making learning media in the form of pop-up books increases. With the pop-up book the teacher can provide real concepts in the form of 3D images to students at the elementary level. Abstract

ABSTRACT Students face challenges in understanding SPLDV material because the use of learning media tends to be monotonous and teaching methods are still teacher-focused. In addition, there is no development of teaching media with maximum use of technology in accordance with developments in this Society Era. E-LKPD is a media that meets these criteria. The purpose of this research is to develop E-LKPD learning media with an open-ended approach. The open-ended approach E-LKPD gives learners the freedom to explore their own answers from various points of view and perspectives which are used as mathematics teaching media on SPLDV material. This development research adopts the ADDIE model, focusing on 3 stages, namely;analysis,design, anddevelopment. The validity test was conducted by two mathematics education lecturers and a junior high school mathematics teacher. The assessment in the media validity test is the aspect of language presentation and media implementation. While the assessment on the material validity test is the feasibility of the material, evaluation, language and suitability with the open-ended approach. The validity results show that the E-LKPD developed received a score of 90.3%, which indicates that this media is very valid and feasible to use in mathematics learning activities. Keywords: E-LKPD, Open-ended, Validity ABSTRAK Peserta didik menghadapi tantangan dalam memahami materi SPLDV karena penggunaan media pembelajaran yang cenderung monoton dan metode pengajaran yang masih berfokus pada guru.. Selain itu belum adanya pengembangan media ajar dengan pemanfaatan teknologi yang maksimal sesuai dengan perkembangan di Era Society ini. E-LKPD merupakan media yang memenuhi kriteria tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran E-LKPD dengan pendekatan open-ended. E-LKPD pendekatan open-ended memberikan peserta didik kebebasan untuk mengeksplor jawaban mereka sendiri dari berbagai sudut pandang dan perspektif yang digunakan sebagai media ajar matematika pada materi SPLDV. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengadopsi model ADDIE, dengan fokus pada 3 tahapan yaitu ; analisis (analyze), desain (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Uji validitas dilakukan oleh dua dosen pendidikan matematika dan seorang guru matematika tingkat SMP. Penilaian pada uji validitas media yaitu aspek penyajian kebahasaan dan keterlaksanaan media. Sedangkan penilaian pada uji validitas materi yaitu kelayakan materi, evaluasi, kebahasaan dan kesesuaian dengan pendekatan open-ended. Hasil validitas menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan mendapatkan nilai 90,3%, yang menandakan bahwa media ini sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar matematika. Abstract

Students' geometric thinking skills are still relatively low, because there is a lack of innovation in the learning media used and the learning model used is still not attractive. Students need learning media that can help them improve their geometric thinking skills to be more effective through interactive learning modules. This research aims to develop interactive learning media in the form of a valid environment-based space building teaching module using a project-based learning (PjBL) approach. This research uses the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which is focused on three stages, namely, the analysis stage, the design stage, and the development stage. The results of the study showed that media experts got an average score of 3.26 with a very valid category and material experts got an average score of 3.51 with a very valid category. Overall, the average validation score of the two experts obtained a score of 3.38 with a very valid category. Based on these results, the environment-based building learning module with the PjBL approach meets the feasibility standards and can be piloted on grade VII students of mathematics learning.

Abstract

Geometric thinking ability is an essential competence in mathematics learning, particularly in solid geometry at the junior high school level. However, geometry learning that remains abstract often causes students to have difficulty in understanding concepts and developing spatial visualization skills. Therefore, a more contextual and meaningful approach is needed, one of which is ethnomathematics that integrates cultural elements into mathematics learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of ethnomathematics in teaching solid geometry and its contribution to students’ geometric thinking ability. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework. The analyzed articles were published between 2022 and 2026 and were obtained from Google Scholar, SINTA, Scopus, ERIC, DOAJ, and Garuda. Based on the selection process, 18 articles met the inclusion criteria. The results indicate that most studies report that the implementation of ethnomathematics in solid geometry learning provides more contextual learning experiences, which potentially improve students’ geometric thinking ability.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang digunakan di sekolah umumnya masih terbatas pada buku cetak dan penjelasan guru, sehingga membuat siswa cenderung pasif serta mengalami kesulitan dalam menghungkan konsep matematika dengan konteks yang lebih luas. Dengan demikian, penting untuk mendesain media pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi sehingga mudah diakses oleh siswa, serta dapat digunakan kapan saja dan dimana saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain E-Modul berbasis etnomatematika Barongan Blora dengan pendekatan Open ended pada materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Lengkung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang berfokus pada tahap Design, dan Development. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis validasi ahli media dan ahli materi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan desain E-modul beserta validasi dari ahli media dan materi yang menunjukkan bahwa E-Modul memperoleh rata-rata penilaian dari ahli media sebesar 3,7 dan ahli materi sebesar 3,75, dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 3,72 yang tergolong kategori sangat valid. E-Modul ini diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Penulis menyarankan bahwa media pembelajaran yang telah didesain dapat diujicobakan oleh siswa dan dapat dilakukan penelitian lanjutan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran yang telah didesain.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is one of the essential competencies in mathematics learning. However, many students still experience difficulties in solving mathematical problems because learning activities are often not connected to real-life contexts. Integrating digital learning media with local cultural contexts can be an alternative approach to create more meaningful learning experiences. This study focuses on the development of a website-based mathematics learning media called BALAGEO. BALAGEO learning media integrates ethnomathematical elements from the Rawa Pening boat race into the topic of the Pythagorean theorem. The study employed a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE development model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The developed media was tested on eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Bawen. Media feasibility was evaluated through expert validation involving material and media experts, while its practicality was determined based on responses from teachers and students after the implementation. The findings indicate that the BALAGEO website achieved a very valid category based on expert assessments and was considered highly practical by users. These results suggest that integrating ethnomathematics into website-based learning media can support more contextual and engaging mathematics learning, particularly in the topic of the Pythagorean theorem.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy relates to how people apply knowledge in real-life situations. Based on the results of PISA from 2000 to 2018, the mathematical literacy of Indonesian students is still low. The use of inappropriate teaching media is one cause of this issue, thus there is a need for technology-integrated innovation to help improve mathematical literacy. The research is experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The implementation is carried out systematically by administering a pretest, then treatment, followed by a posttest. The pretest results had an average of 41.44 and the posttest results were 75.49, indicating an increase in average test scores. The pre-analysis test indicates the research instruments are feasible to use, while the paired sample t-test results show 0.000 < 0.05, indicating the VR Tour website media with an ethnomathematics approach has a significant effect on mathematical literacy. Further data analysis from the n-gain test shows 0.30 < 0.5870 < 0.70, which has medium criteria, thus indicating an increase in mathematical literacy before and after the VR Tour website media with an ethnomathematics approach. The conclusion is that the VR Tour website media with an ethnomathematics approach is effective in improving mathematical literacy.
