Abstract

The topic of mathematical geometry, which explores shapes such as cubes, rectangular prisms, prisms, and pyramids, often presents challenges for students, particularly in visualizing these shapes and relating them to real-life situations. These difficulties require a solution in the form of technology-based learning media capable of presenting material progressively and engagingly. The Van Hiele learning approach was selected as it offers a systematic framework for understanding geometric concepts, ranging from visualization to abstract comprehension. This study aims to develop interactive video media based on the Van Hiele approach for teaching three-dimensional geometric shapes to eighth-grade students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, and development. Data analysis was conducted through needs assessments and validation by subject matter experts and media experts. The validation results show that the developed interactive video media received an average score of 86.80% from subject matter experts and 87.68% from media experts, with an overall average score of 87.24%. These findings indicate that the developed interactive video media is highly valid and ready to be used as an effective and enjoyable learning tool to enhance students' understanding of three-dimensional geometric shapes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak penggunaan media Articulate Storyline dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir geometri siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR), yang mencakup analisis terhadap 53 artikel relevan, dengan 20 artikel terpilih berdasarkan kriteria kelayakan, kualitas, dan relevansi. Artikel yang dianalisis merupakan publikasi ilmiah dari tahun 2020 hingga 2024 yang membahas penerapan media pembelajaran digital interaktif dalam pembelajaran geometri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Articulate Storyline secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep geometri dengan mengubah ide-ide abstrak menjadi visualisasi konkret yang mudah dipahami. Media ini juga terbukti efektif meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran melalui fitur interaktif, seperti simulasi, animasi, dan evaluasi berbasis kuis. Selain itu, media ini mendukung pembelajaran mandiri, meningkatkan kemampuan analitis, dan menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih inovatif. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pendidik tentang manfaat teknologi interaktif dalam mendukung pembelajaran matematika, terutama dalam pengembangan kemampuan berpikir geometri siswa. Dengan penggunaan Articulate Storyline, proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, relevan, dan sesuai dengan tuntutan era pendidikan berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif yang efektif untuk pembelajaran geometri di tingkat SMP

Abstract

Students' problem-solving skills in solving social arithmetic are still experiencing difficulties, namely in terms of identifying problems, designing solutions in applying the right concepts and there are still errors in reasoning. In addition, in the current learning proces, it is necessary to utilize technology to motivate students to learn, but the media that has been applied so far has not been able to adjust to the needs of students. The existence of these problem requires a learning model assisted by media with nuances of local wisdom to be able to practice problem-solving skills. So this study aims to determine the implementation of the PBL model assisted by Arso media with nuances of local wisdom to improve mathematical problem-solving skills. This research is an experimental research in one of the private MTs in Bandungan. The data collection technique uses mathematical problem-solving ability test (pretest and posttest). Based on the mathematical problem-solving ability test, the average pretest score of 47.38 and posttest 80.66 and the n-gain value of 0.6163 with medium criteria were obtained, so it was stated that Arso media with nuances of local wisdom with PBL model can improve students mathematical problem-solving ability with moderate criteria.

Abstract

The use of printed book learning media with lots of writing is not effective for deaf students, resulting in low student conceptual understanding. Deaf students need learning media that can overcome their limitations in language and communication, by utilizing media that has a visual appearance. The purpose of this study is to develop valid interactive media with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on the material of the area of ​​flat shapes called "AISITARU". This study applies the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the ADDIE development model which is focused on the analysis, design, and development stages. This study produced an interactive learning media "AISITARU" with the results of the media expert validation assessment of 91.7% which is included in the very valid criteria, while the average score of the material expert is 87.6% with the very valid criteria. The results of the validation analysis of media experts and material experts of the "AISITARU" media obtained a combined average score of 89.65%, which is included in the very valid category. This proves that the "AISITARU" media meets the eligibility to be tested on deaf students in learning mathematics with the material of the area of ​​flat shapes.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah merambah di beragam bidang tak terkecuali pada bidang pendidikan. Salah satu bentuk implementasi teknologi di bidang pendidikan adalah E-Modul yang sering dimanfaatkan untuk membantu siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat respon guru dan siswa serta mengevaluasinya dalam menggunakan E-Modul matematika berbasis problem based learning pendekatan STEM pada materi barisan dan deret bilangan. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif secara deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket respon yang kemudian diperkuat hasilnya dengan wawancara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X salah satu SMA di jepara melibatkan 38 peserta didik dan 1 orang guru matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai keseluruhan rata-rata respon guru sebesar 3,64 tegolong kategori sangat praktis serta nilai keseluruhan rata-rata peserta didik sebesar 3,41 tergolong kategori sangat praktis. Guru berpendapat materi yang disajikan dalam E-Modul memiliki cakupan luas dan lengkap dalam membantu pembelajaran. Menurut peserta didik E-Modul memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dengan adanya berbagai unsur interaktif. Produk E-Modul terbukti dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar dan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis serta layak untuk diimplementasikan ke dalam skala pembelajaran yang lebih luas. Tetapi diperlukan pengembangan dari segi desain, video pembelajaran dan variasi soal untuk penyempurnaan produk menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa di Indonesia masih rendah menurut survei TIMSS dan PISA. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkannya adalah dengan menerapkan discovery learning, yang menekankan eksplorasi mandiri. Media pembelajaran seperti student worksheet atau LKPD dapat mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan siswa terhadap pengembangan student worksheet berbasis discovery learning dengan nuansa bangunan Sam Poo Kong pada materi Teorema Pythagoras. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Kebon Dalem. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 86,7% siswa menginginkan bahan ajar yang memungkinkan eksplorasi konsep secara mandiri, dan 100% setuju bahwa student worksheet dengan nuansa Sam Poo Kong perlu dikembangkan. Mayoritas siswa juga memerlukan media visual untuk membantu pemahaman mereka. Pengembangan student worksheet berbasis discovery learning dengan nuansa budaya lokal berpotensi meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika dan komunikasi matematis siswa. Oleh karena itu, bahan ajar yang kontekstual dan interaktif sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Mathematical communication is one of the important skills in mathematics learning. Based on observations at Kebon Dalem Junior High School Semarang, the limited mathematical communication of students is caused by the unavailability of appropriate learning media. This research aims to design a student mathematics worksheet based on discovery learning with the nuances of Sam Poo Kong's ethnomathematics in which there is a strengthening of students' mathematical communication skills. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which focuses on the first three stages, namely Analyze, Design, and Develop. The research instrument was in the form of a validation questionnaire assessed by three validators, consisting of two lecturers and one teacher, to assess the feasibility aspects of content, language, approach, Sam Poo Kong's ethnomathematics, mathematical communication, and media. The validation results showed that the student worksheet developed obtained an average score of 90% from material experts and media experts, which is classified as very valid. Thus, this discovery learning-based student worksheet with Sam Poo Kong's ethnomathematical nuances is suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kepraktisan e-modul berbasis model pembelajaran PACE yang memuat nuansa budaya lokal Kota Lama Semarang pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kelas VIII SMP. E-modul dikembangkan menggunakan perangkat lunak Canva dan diakses melalui web Heyzine. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari satu guru dan 23 siswa dari salah satu SMP di Kota Semarang. penggumpulan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis melalui skala likert dan dikonversi dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul tergolong dalam kategori “praktis” dengan rata-rata skor kepraktisan dari guru sebesar 88,5% dan dari siswa sebesar 86,7%. E-modul dinilai mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bangun ruang sisi datar serta menstimulasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui pendekatan yang berbasis proyek dan aktivitas yang kontekstual. Penggabungan unsur budaya lokal juga mendorong minat dan antusias siswa dalam pembelajaran. Temuan ini merekomendasikan e-modul berbasis PACE nuansa Kota Lama Semarang sebagai alternatif bahan ajar inovatif yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika di tingkat SMP
