Abstract

This study aims to develop an instrument to assess the effectiveness of a religious character education program in addressing the moral degradation of students. The research employs a development model (research and design) based on primary data collected through a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements aligned with 10 indicators of character education. These indicators include understanding religious values, internalization of values, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, consistency in religious attitudes, social care, discipline in spiritual relationships, and satisfaction with the program. The research instrument uses a rating scale ranging from 1 to 5 and is validated by three education experts from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). The sample consists of 25 first-semester students from the 2024-2025 academic year, class 1A of the Agribusiness Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Untirta. Data analysis includes content validity testing using Aiken’s V formula and intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) for reliability testing. Empirical validity testing employs product moment analysis, and reliability testing uses Cronbach's alpha, analyzed using SPSS version 23. The findings reveal that: (1) Based on the content validity test, out of 20 statement items, 16 items demonstrate very high validity, and 4 items show 2 high validity, with an average content validity score of 1.000, interpreted as very high. The reliability test using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) yields an average measure of 0.971, indicating excellent instrument reliability. (2) From the empirical test results, out of 20 items, 19 items are valid, and 1 item is invalid, with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.853 (>0.7), confirming the instrument's reliability. Therefore, the validated questionnaire consisting of 20 items is deemed suitable for measuring the effectiveness of the religious character education program

Abstract

Stunting remains a major public health issue hindering the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 2 (Zero Hunger) and Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being). Previous studies have mostly focused on nutrition and health aspects, while this research addresses the research gap by analyzing policy strategies based on cross-sectoral collaboration at the village level. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze stunting mitigation policy strategies within the framework of achieving the SDGs in Bayumundu Village, Kaduhejo District, Pandeglang Regency. This research employs Collaborative Governance theory (Ansell & Gash, 2008) and SWOT analysis (Rangkuti, 2018) to map internal–external factors and assess the quality of multi-stakeholder collaboration. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation, with triangulation for data validation. The findings indicate that the main strengths of the strategy are community awareness campaigns and available health infrastructure, while the greatest opportunity comes from national policy and government support. However, weaknesses such as limited community understanding and threats such as socio-economic inequality remain significant challenges. The study concludes that the success of stunting mitigation strategies is strongly determined by actor synergy, facilitative leadership at the village level, and the utilization of national policy opportunities. It recommends strengthening collaborative institutional design and leveraging health technologies to ensure program sustainability

Abstract

The tradition of visiting the tomb of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin of Banten is a socio-religious practice that remains alive today and plays a significant role in the lives of the people of Banten. This tradition not only reflects religious rituals but also embodies historical, cultural, and spiritual values that shape the identity of the local community. This study aims to examine the tradition of visiting the tomb of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin of Banten as a cultural heritage and a manifestation of the community’s spirituality. The research method employed is a qualitative approach using literature review and archival research. Data were obtained from historical books, scientific journal articles, theses, research reports, and other relevant supporting sources related to the study of pilgrimage, local Islamic culture, and the Sultanate of Banten. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive-qualitative technique by examining and interpreting various sources to uncover the meanings, practices, and dynamics of the pilgrimage tradition. The results of the study indicate that the tradition of visiting the tomb of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin possesses a strong spiritual dimension as a means of drawing closer to Allah, a medium for self-reflection, and the formation of individual and collective spirituality. Furthermore, the pilgrimage tradition also functions as an intangible cultural heritage that plays a role in preserving history, transmitting cultural values, and strengthening the identity of the Banten community. Amid the development of religious tourism and modernization, the pilgrimage tradition faces dynamics that require sustainable management to ensure that religious and cultural values remain preserved. This study concludes that the tradition of pilgrimage to the tomb of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin of Banten is an important and relevant cultural-religious practice in maintaining the sustainability of the community’s spirituality and cultural identity.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of religious moderation in digital media based on the Dick and Carey learning model. The research is grounded in the increasing use of digital media as a primary source of religious information, which has the potential both to strengthen and to undermine the values of religious moderation. The study employed a qualitative approach with a Research and Development (R&D) design. The subjects were university students who actively use digital media. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation, while data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that students’ understanding of religious moderation remains largely normative and is not yet accompanied by adequate digital literacy skills. The development of the Dick and Carey-based learning model produced interactive digital media, including educational videos, digital modules, and social media content. Implementation of the model demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ comprehension, tolerance, and critical thinking regarding religious content in digital media. Furthermore, the study found that integrating constructivist approaches, social learning, and digital literacy into the learning design effectively reinforced the internalization of religious moderation values. The developed learning model proved effective in enhancing student engagement and fostering inclusive and tolerant attitudes. In conclusion, promoting religious moderation in digital media requires a systematic, technology-based learning approach. This study provides both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of a learning model for religious moderation in the digital era.
