Abstract

This study aims to determine: the feasibility of web-based diagnostic tests on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions, profiles of students' conceptual understanding after using web-based diagnostic tests on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions, chemistry teacher responses to webbased diagnostic tests on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. , student responses to web-based diagnostic tests on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions. The method used in this development research is the ADDIE method which consists of 5 stages of treatment, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results showed that (1) the developed web-based diagnostic test had very feasible criteria. The percentage of misconceptions on test 1 is 21.67% while test 2 is 33.33%. The percentage of not knowing the concept on test 1 is 61.33% while test 2 is 20%. The percentage of guessing on test 1 is 8% while on test 2 it is 7%. The teacher's response to a webbased diagnostic test on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution material obtained the percentage of presentation aspects 92%, language and content aspects 100% and benefits aspects 90%. Student responses to web-based diagnostic tests on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions obtained an average percentage of 83,20% display aspect, 92,60% language and content aspect, and 87,365 benefit aspect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kelayakan tes diagnostik berbasis web pada materi kimia konsep redoks, (2) mengetahui profil pemahaman konsep siswa setelah menggunakan tes diagnostik berbasis web pada materi konsep redoks, (3) mengetahui respon guru kimia terhadap tes diagnostik berbasis web pada materi kimia konsep redoks, dan (4) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap tes diagnostik berbasis web pada materi kimia konsep redoks. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi), penelitian ini dibatasi pada uji coba terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tes diagnostik berbasis web pada materi konsep redoks dinyatakan layak setelah dilakukan validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, respon guru dan siswa. Penilaian ahli materi dengan persentase rata-rata 89,34% dengan kategori sangat layak, penilaian ahli media dengan persentase rata-rata 87,59% dengan kategori sangat layak, persentase respon guru 91,34% dengan kategori sangat menarik dan persentase respon siswa 88,84% dengan kategori sangat menarik. . Profil pemahaman konsep siswa mengalami peningkatan baik pemahaman konsep siswa perbutir soal maupun pemahaman siswa persub konsep.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of the application of project-based learning models on e-learning chemical equilibrium material on learning outcomes, student activities and student responses. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted in January 2022. Data collection techniques were obtained by means of tests, observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. The population of this research is the students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 9 Medan. The research sample consisted of 2 classes with a total of 65 students with a random sampling technique. The experimental class was given learning using a project-based learning model in e-learning, the control class was given learning using a direct learning model. This study shows the following results: (1) there is a positive effect of implementing project-based learning models on e-learning chemical equilibrium material on improving student learning outcomes, obtained tcount = 9.91 > ttable = 1.669 and class N-gain value the experimental class is 0.77 with the high category, while the N-gain for the control class is 0.56 in the medium category. (2) student learning activities in the experimental class are very positive or very good towards, the average percentage is 81.83% with the qualification "very good". (3) students in the experimental class showed a positive or good response in the learning process that took place in the classroom, the average percentage of responses was 76.55% with "good" qualifications. This shows that the project-based learning model in e-learning is good for use in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Differences in Learning Outcomes and Student Activities Taught Using Project Based Learning and Discovery Learning Models on Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Solution Materials. This research aims to find out whether there are differences in learning outcomes and learning activities for students who are taught using project based learning and discovery learning. The sample in this research was students of class X IPA 1 as experimental class 1 and X IPA 2 as experimental class 2. This research used quantitative research methods. The data taken in this research are student learning outcomes collected through student posttest scores to measure student learning outcomes and student learning activity observation sheets to measure student activity during the learning process. However, before testing the hypothesis, prerequisite tests are carried out, namely homogeneity and normality tests. The research results showed that there were differences in learning outcomes and student learning activities between experimental class 1 which was taught by implementing PjBL modeling compared to experimental class 2 which was taught by implementing DL modeling. Evidence of this can be given referring to the mean value of learning outcomes for experimental class 1 students which is higher than experimental class 2. Likewise, the learning activities of experimental class 1 students are higher than experimental class 2. From the results of the hypothesis test, using the t test it was found that the significance value smaller than 0.00 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.Keywords : Learning outcomes, student learning activities, Problem Based Learning, Discovery Learning.

Abstract

This research is about developing Smart Apps Creator media integrated with a guided inquiry learning model on reaction rate material. The type of research carried out is Research and Development or what is known as Research and Development (R&D). The aim of this research is to develop learning media using Smart Apps Creator which is integrated with a guided inquiry learning model on reaction rate material, as well as getting validation from experts regarding this media and knowing the responses of teachers and students to its use. The development model used in this research is the 4-D model. The stages of 4-D development are the stages of definition, design, development and dissemination. This research produces smart apps Creator learning media that is integrated with the guided inquiry learning model on reaction rate material. The results of the media expert validation assessment obtained an average of 89.6% (very valid). The results of the teacher response assessment obtained an average of 89.5% (very practical) and the results of the student response assessment obtained an average of 82.2% (very practical).

Abstract

This research concerns the development of interactive media based on Augmented Reality (AR) as an interactive learning medium on Redox Reaction material using the Research and Development (RnD) research method and the 4-D model. The aim of this research is to design and develop this application with a focus on students' interest in Augmented Reality interactive media on redox reaction material. Research stages include define, design, development, dessaminate. Media expert validation results show that this application meets quality standards and is suitable for use with a feasibility percentage of 88.2%. The attractiveness test was carried out on a number of students to evaluate the attractiveness of the application in motivating students in learning and obtained an attractiveness percentage of 93.12% so that this media received the criteria of being very attractive in learning.This research produces interactive media that can be used as an additional learning resource in the context of chemistry learning. This media has succeeded in increasing student engagement and providing a more interactive learning experience through the use of AR technology. The practical implication of this research is that there is potential for application as an innovative learning tool in chemistry education.

Abstract

This research aims to produce an Integrated learning media product using Problem-Based Learning smart apps creator application with models Thiagarajan's 4D development. Based on research carried out, media expert opinion, educator response, participant response students towards integrated learning media Problem-Based Learning using the smart apps creator application gets criteria very worthy with an average media expert assessment score of 96.08%, educator response assessment 95.05%, and Student response assessment was 80.2%. The results of this research show that interactive learning media is based on Problem-Based Learning useing the smart apps creator application on the speed material point reactions can be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

Fe deficiency in plants results in yellowing of leaves on plants and also reduces the quality of fruit produced. Fe deficiency in plants can be treated by applying slow release fertilizer which will release the nutrients in the fertilizer slowly according to plant needs so that there will be no problem of deficiency or excess of Fe. Activated Carbon/Alginate/Nanocellulose-Fe Composite can be used as slow release fertilizer because this composite releases Fe slowly with citric acid medium and tested with AAS. The functional groups in the Activated Carbon/Alginate/Nanocellulose-Fe Composite showed no disappearance of the functional groups belonging to activated carbon, alginate or nanocellulose so that it can be said that these three components were successfully made into composites and can be carriers of nutrients in micro-fertilizers.
