Abstract

This study explores work-life balance among female government employees across generations, with a focus on gender-related challenges. Women are hypothesised to face imbalances due to dual roles at work and home. Using a phenomenological approach and descriptive quantitative analysis, the study finds that Indonesian women across generations generally experience moderate work-life balance. Notably, Baby Boomers (60–78 years) and Generation Z (12–27 years) report higher balance, while Generation X (44–59 years) and Millennials (28–43 years) face lower balance due to simultaneous career and family responsibilities. The study offers generationally tailored suggestions, although results may not generalise to women in sectors like banking or private industry. Implications include the need for organisations to act as facilitators, supporting female employees to ensure psychological well-being and sustained performance.

Abstract

Abstract-There are already many employees in Indonesia who support diversity in their companies, yet still many work environments in companies are homogeneous. Not much research has been conducted on the workforce demographic diversity in Indonesia and there have not been many studies on diversity in Indonesia that have explored many dimensions. This study aims to examine the effect of workforce demographic diversity on employee performance at PT XYZ. The dimensions used for workforce demographic diversity are age, gender, education, religion, and ethnic. This research was conducted using a quantitative method. The proportionate stratified random sampling technique was used to determine the sample in this study. The number of respondents used in the study amounted to 178 respondents. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. In the research that has been done, the results show that demographic diversity affects the performance of employees at PT XYZ The results showed that the demographic diversity of the workforce had an effect of 29.5% on employee performance. The implication that can be used by companies based on the results of this study is to apply justice in every company activity and start applying an inclusive culture. Further research can explore more about types or dimensions of diversity. Keywords: Diversity; Demographic; Performance

Abstract

Perusahaan kontraktor jasa merupakan perusahaan yang memiliki potensi serta resiko bahaya yang cukup tinggi terhadap kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan program Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) terhadap produktivitas kerja pada proyek pekerjaan maintenance pembangkit listrik di PT. Hafila Daya Utama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dan menggunakkan data primer dalam pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakkan non-probability sampling dengan sampel jenuh, sehingga jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 136 responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakkan aplikasi smartPLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan program Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan PT Hafila Daya Utama.

Abstract

PT Dirgantara Indonesia is a large company in the manufacturing industry sector. In the last three years, the company has experienced business challenges, namely project declines and 22% delays in completion. The factor that most influences the delay in project completion is work productivity. The decline in employee productivity is influenced by work motivation and discipline. This study aims to determine motivation, work discipline and work productivity and their interrelationships with each other partially and simultaneously on employees of PT Dirgantara Indonesia Main Directorate Area. In this study, data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with descriptive methods. The sample was taken using a saturated sample, which used all members of the population as a sample of 117 people. The results of the study show that motivation, work discipline and work productivity of employees are included in the sufficient category. In addition, work motivation and discipline partially and simultaneously have a positive effect on work productivity with a contribution value of work motivation and discipline of 42.1% and the remaining 57.9% is influenced by other variables not used in this study.

Abstract

Based on the observations and preliminary survey on the research object, it was hypothesized that the main driving factor for employee performance is compensation. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance at Auto2000 Pasteur Bandung. This study used quantitative methods that are causal and used primary data whose data collection used questionnaires with the calculation of results using the Likert scale with a scale of numbers 1-5. The technique used in sampling uses non-probability sampling with census sampling techniques. The population in this study was 68 Auto2000 Pasteur employees and the same number of samples. Data analysis method using Smart PLS. Data that have been obtained from questionnaires and have been tabulated are then analyzed using validity reliability tests, R2 tests, hypothesis tests, and partial tests (t-tests). The results showed that compensation significantly positively affected the performance of employees of the company Auto2000 Pasteur.

Abstract

The Directorate General of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, has begun to pay more attention to Vocational education. The real steps of the Directorate General of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture can be seen from its two special programs, namely the D2 fast track program for SMK and the D-3 upgrade program to applied bachelor's degree. This study aims to provide a basis for one of the universities in Bandung to determine whether it is the right step to increase the D-3 level to become an Applied Bachelor. Quantitative Descriptive Analysis was conducted to provide a real picture of the condition of existing D-3 students. The results showed that the majority of students chose the D-3 level because they wanted to immediately graduate from college and then work. Meanwhile, students who enter the D-3 level because they are not accepted in the first choice occupy the lowest position on the D-3 level selection criteria indicator and are included in the assessment criteria. Therefore, there is still no urgency to increase the D-3 level to an Applied Bachelor degree from the perspective of higher education consumers, namely college students.

Abstract

Bank Woori Saudara KC Diponegoro is one of the branch offices of PT. Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906, Tbk. which is engaged in commercial banking. In carrying out its banking activities, Bank Woori Saudara always involves important files that will be used for dealing with a customer. One example of such a file is the CIF Application Document which contains a number of important customer-related information. The collection of archives is stored and managed by the Front Office Department at Bank Woori Saudara. In managing the archives of the frontliner staff, a manual storage system is used, where the documents are stored based on the order and CIF number located in the available filling cabinet. The lack of archival management and an adequate record-keeping system causes frontliner staff to often find it difficult to search for the required documents. Therefore, in order to meet fast-paced technological developments and an adequate archive management system, an electronic filing application was created. This application is expected to help frontliner staff in carrying out operational activities, especially for information needs. In doing the design and manufacture, the application uses the Macro VBA Excel system so that it has an easy-to-reach appearance and work.

Abstract

Inventory information systems are important for companies because they are used as records related to the availability of goods during sales. In Deu Magaza, the recording of goods is still done using the manual method which has many weaknesses, it is also less effective and efficient in seeing how many items are available. Therefore, a more complete and detailed information system regarding inventory is designed to assist employees in managing goods and finding available goods more easily so as to reduce errors made. The design is done using Microsoft Access to make it easier for users to learn it. Making this inventory information system helps check the availability of goods more easily and quickly, also makes work on the inventory section more effective and efficient. Evaluation of the results of the design that has been made using the usability testing method, and it is found that the design and manufacture of the information system that has been carried out is good and in accordance with the needs, can also handle the constraints that exist in the Deu Magaza inventory section.

Abstract

The Human Resources PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is a very crucial part of handling documents because it stores all employee and pension data archives, and oversees the Document Unit which manages all inactive archives from all work sections. Archives are the most important and basic thing that needs to be considered in all types of administrative and management activities in an organization because archives are information data stored about everything we do in our daily routine. However, the management of archives for the inactive archives of the HR still uses conventional archives where there is no archive backup in electronic form. This is classified as not effective and efficient if done in the present, and there is a risk of damage to the archive or loss of the archive due to forgetting to archive it. Judging from the archival situation for inactive archives that occurred here, the solution that was deemed appropriate was to design and create an electronic archive information system for inactive archives. This electronic archive uses Microsoft Access tools because its use is easy and quite familiar to use in offices that implement the Windows operating system.

Abstract

An archive is a collection of documents, documents, or files that have value for the company. The role of archives in a company is as a memory center, a controlling tool, a source of information used by companies to carry out analysis, planning activities, development, weighing in decision making, problem formulation, making attachments, accountability, assessment and control as precisely as possible. Archival rearrangement is the rearrangement of information and archive forms for the benefit of archive retrieval. The condition of handling archives in the Human Resources Department of PT Beton Elemenindo Perkasa can be said to be less precise, this can be seen from the number of missing archives, irregularly stored archives, there are still archives that use inappropriate storage systems, lack of equipment and supplies used to store archives. files. This phenomenon causes difficulties in the process of finding the archives needed by the company, so that it can hinder the company's work. Therefore, it is necessary to reorganize the archive handling project at the Human Resources DepartmentGeneral Affair of PT Beton Elemenindo Perkasa Batujajar by updating the storage system, storage procedures, archive borrowing procedures, archive discovery procedures, and adding archive facilities. The purpose of the archive handling reorganization project is to optimize the handling of existing records so that they are more effective and efficient. This project has been tested on June 3rd, 2021 with related parties, namely the Human Resources Department-General Affair Staff who doubles as archivist and the manager of the department. Based on the trials that have been carried out on this project, it can be said that the archive handling project at the Human Resources Department-General Affairs PT Beton Elemenindo Perkasa Batujajar is appropriate and very helpful for administrative staff in handling existing archives.
