Faktor geologi menyebabkan aliran air kawasan karst terkonsentrasi di bawah permukaan sehingga masyarakat sulit dalam mengakses air. Seperti pada wilayah Daerah Tangkapan Air (DTA) Kakap yang terletak di Kecamatan Giriwoyo, Kabupaten Wonogiri, Jawa Tengah. Masyarakat pada setiap tahunnya mengalami permasalahan pada ketersediaan air. Sistem hidrologi kawasan karst juga dapat terancam karena kurangnya pengetahuan terhadap keberadaan ponor/luweng. Kondisi Ponor/luweng sendiri menjadi kurang terawat dengan dipenuhi banyak sampah baik sampah organik maupun sampah rumah tangga. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam konservasi di kawasan karst. Melalui Focus Group Discusion (FGD) secara partisipasi, untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang kerentanan kawasan karst sumber utama air bersih. Kapasitas masyarakat dalam mitigasi bencana kekeringan belum terbentuk dengan sempurna akibat kurangnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan akan upaya mitigasi yang dapat dilakukan secara gotong royong oleh masyarakatAbstrak dalam bahasa Indonesia mengikuti kaidah dalam Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI).

Kecamatan Adimulyo merupakan salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Kebumen yang rawan akan terjadinya bencana banjir. Pada saat musim penghujan tiba, beberapa desa di Kecamatan Adimulyo terkena bencana banjir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat partisipasi masyarakat terhadap bencana banjir di Kecamatan Adimulyo Kabupaten Kebumen tahun 2021. Populasi pnelitian adalah penduduk yang tinggal di tiga desa yang memiliki kerawanan tertinggi, dan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Simple Random Sampling. Analisis data dengan diskriptif kuantitatif berdasarkan indikator partisipasi pemikiran, partisipasi tenaga, partisipasi ketrampilan, partisipasi harta, partisipasi sosial, Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat partisipasi masyarakat terhadap bencana banjir adalah sedang dengan persentase Desa Adiluhur sebesar 50,6%, Desa Kemujan 50,8%, dan Desa Mangunharjo 48,6%.

Tingginya tingkat kerawanan bencana mendorong perlunya membentuk masyarakat yang resilien. Resiliensi masyarakat memberikan kesiapsiagaan bagi masyarakat, menentukan bagaimana cara merespon, dan bagaimana melakukan recovery dalam menghadapi bencana tsunami. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat resiliensi masyarakat terhadap bencana tsunami di pesisir Kecamatan Petanahan, Kabupaten Kebumen tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tingkat resiliensi masyarakat terhadap bencana tsunami di pesisir Kecamatan Petanahan tahun 2020 berada pada tingkat resiliensi tinggi (high resilience) dengan tiga indikator tertinggi adalah coastal resource management dengan nilai 99,75%, risk knowledge dengan nilai 83,74% dan warning & evacuation dengan nilai 90,91 %. Selain itu, elemen resiliensi yang tergolong sedang (intermediate resilience) yaitu society & economy dengan nilai 52,31%, land use & structural design dengan nilai 55,38 %, dan disaster recovery dengan nilai 41,15%, dan elemen resiliensi rendah (low resilience) yaitu governance dengan nilai 33,85% dan emergency response dengan nilai 20%.

Banjir merupakan sebuah fenomena yang sering melanda hampir seluruh negara di dunia. Sebanyak 313 bencana alam besar (tidak termasuk penyakit epidemi) terjadi di seluruh dunia pada tahun 2020 yang melanda 123 negara. Di antara total 313 bencana ini sebanyak 193 kasus disebabkan oleh banjir. Penyebabnya beranekaragam berupa klasifikasi faktor alam dan juga faktor antropogenik. Metode atau pendekatan yang digunakan pada artikel ini berupa study pustaka dari beberapa literatur jurnal international. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, bencana banjir memberikan dampak yang sangat besar di bidang sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan pada wilayah terdampak. Untuk mengurangi dampak kerusakan dan kerugian akibat banjir tersebut beberapa negara di dunia menerapkan teknik mitigasi berupa Flood Risk Management (FRM). Hasil penelitian ini adalah Flood Risk Management sangat efektif dalam meminimalisir dampak banjir dengan langkah-langkah struktural dan non-strukturalnya. Pengetahuan mengenai tindakan Flood Risk Management ini perlu diketahui masing-masing pihak dan juga masyarakat agar dampak banjir dapat dikendalikan bersama.

Flood is a disaster is a large amount of puddle of water, occurs due to natural factors and human factors. Adimulyo district is one of the districts in Kebumen Regency which exposed to floods several times every year. This study aims is to analyse flood vulnerability in Adimulyo District, Kebumen Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive research, data collection techniques in the form of field observations and secondary data analysis. Flood susceptibility analysis was carried out by overlaying maps of rainfall, soil type, elevation, slope, and distance from the area to the river. The unit of analysis uses land units. To determine the level of flood susceptibility in Adimulyo Regency, the scoring method is used. The results showed that the level of flood susceptibility in Adimulyo District was divided into 3 classes, namely 7 land units of moderate vulnerability, 54 land units of high vulnerability, and very vulnerable 13 land units.

ABSTRAKHutan mangrove pantai Pasuruan telah terdegradasi baik luasan maupun diversitasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) faktor-faktor penyebab degradasi hutan mangrove di Pantai Pasuruan, (2) Persepsi penduduk pesisir terhadap hutan mangrove dan (3) menemukan model pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan dan pelestarian hutan mangrove di daerah penelitian. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan tiga langkah penelitian, pertama wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh-tokoh masyarakat untuk menentukan faktor penyebab kerusakan hutan mangrove, kedua wawancara dengan penduduk pesisir untuk mengetahui persepsi penduduk terhadap hutan mangrove dan ketiga dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) untuk mencari model pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan dan pelestarian hutan mangrove di pantai Pasuruan. Sampel ditentukan di tiga wilayah yang mewakili pantai bagian timur, bagian tengah dan bagian barat. Masing-masing wilayah diambil tiga desa dengan ketebalan hutan mangrove yang berbeda-beda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Penebangan liar dan alih fungsi hutan mangrove menjadi tambak merupakan faktor utama degradasi hutan mangrove di daerah penelitian disebabkan oleh kemiskinan dan kebodohan (2) Sebagian besar penduduk memahami fungsi ekologis hutan mangrove tetapi kurang dalam ”rasa memiliki”, (3) model pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan dan pelestarian hutan mangrove yang paling baik di pantai Pasuruan adalah model ”Sosio-eko-regulasi” yaitu keseluruhan pengambilan keputusan ditentukan oleh kelompok, peran pemerintah sebagai pendukung dana dan penguatan dalam bidang regulasi.ABSTRACTMangrove forest in Pasuruan coastal plain was degraded in wide and diversity. The aims of this research were (1) to know the degradation factors of mangrove forest at Pasuruan Coastal Plains, (2) to know the community perception of mangrove forest, and (3) to find the community empowerment models in management and sustainability of mangrove forest in the study area. Three steps done in this research: depth interview to key persons to know the degradation of mangrove forest, interview with the fishermen and the fishpond owners to know their perception of mangrove forest, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to find community empowerment models in management and sustainability of mangrove forest. Sample was determined at three areas which represented west, midle and east part of the study area ; each part was taken three sub-districts which represented various thickness of mangrove forest. The results showed that (1) fishpond making and illegal logging were the main factors of mangrove forest degradation in study area, (2) most of the community knew the function of mangrove forest but less in sence of belonging and (3) the community empowerment model in management and sustainability mangrove forest at Pasuruan Coastal Plains was “Socio-eco-regulation” (all of the decisions were made by the community itself, government participated on the fund and regulations)

There has been a shift in the need for low-skilled Human Resources (HR) (handwork) towards highly creative HR jobs. To build high creativity, human resources must start from the education bench. In recent years, digital maps have become popular and are often used to complement everyday life. Most geography teachers in Surakarta have difficulty explaining the material on Geographic Information Systems because of limited knowledge and software that requires high specifications. This service activity aims to provide training on developing website-based learning media for the Geography MGMP of Surakarta City. The method used in this service is the lecture and question and answer method using an active participatory approach and technical guidance—the implementation of this activity on June 9, 2022, at SMAN 3 Surakarta City. Participants who participated in this activity were 36 teachers of geography in the city of Surakarta. Learning media development training activities benefit teachers because they add insight and knowledge about media and types of learning media and can develop them following the creativity and theme of the material taught by the teacher. Give to students at school. The result of the training is that teachers' level of understanding of digital mapping at the level of understanding very understanding has increased from 3.13% to 21.88%. --- Pergeseran kebutuhan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) berketerampilan tingkat rendah (pekerjaan tangan) menuju ke pekerjaan SDM berdaya kreativitas tinggi telah terjadi. Untuk membangun SDM berkreativitas tinggi harus dimulai sejak berada dibangku pendidikan. Beberapa tahun terakhir peta digital menjadi populer dimana seringkali digunakan sebagai pelengkap untuk kehidupan sehari-hari. Sebagian besar guru geografi di Surakarta kesulitan dalam menjelaskan materi Sistem Informasi Geografi karena keterbatasan pengetahuan dan software yang membutuhkan spesifikasi tinggi. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis website bagi MGMP Geografi Kota Surakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah dan tanya jawab dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif aktif dan bimbingan teknis. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini pada tanggal 9 Juni 2022 bertempat di SMAN 3 Kota Surakarta. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini sebanyak 36 orang guru yang merupakan guru geografi Kota Surakarta. Kegiatan pelatihan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis website sangat dirasakan manfaatnya bagi guru-guru karena menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai media dan jenis media pembelajaran khususnya media pembelajaran berbasis website serta cara membuat media pembelajaran berbasis website serta mampu mengembangkan media tersebut sesuai dengan kreatifitas dan tema materi yang guru berikan kepada peserta didik di sekolah. Hasil dari pelatihan adalah tingkat pemahaman guru pada pemetaan digital pada tingkat pemahaman sangat paham mengalami peningkatan persentase dari 3,13% menjadi 21,88%.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat partisipasi masyarakat terhadap upaya penguatan adaptasi perubahan iklim dalam pelaksanaan Proklim ditinjau dari partisipasi ide atau buah pikir, partisipasi tenaga dan partisipasi dalam pemanfaatan hasil. Pendekatan penelitian adalah studi kasus dengan menggunakan mixed method. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam bentuk ide atau buah pikir termasuk dalam kategori sedang dalam pilihan jawaban “kadang-kadang” dengan presentase 43,81%, tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam bentuk tenaga termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan jawaban “kadang- kadang” dengan persentase 38,97%, dan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam bentuk pemanfaatan hasil termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan jawaban “kadang- kadang” mendapatkan hasil 45,43 %. Tingkat partisipasi masyarakat kampung iklim (Proklim) RW 07 Kelurahan Ngadirejo masuk kategori sedang atau dalam tangga partisipasi Arnstein masih dalam tahap (informasi, konsultasi, penetraman). Hal ini menandakan bahwa seluruh masyarakat kampung iklim Ngadirejo RW 07 dinilai telah memberikan partisipasi secara sukarela dalam pelaksanaan upaya penguatan adaptasi perubahan iklim dalam Program Kampung Iklim, tetapi tidak selalu di pakai dan dilaksanakan.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is: 1. To find out the Environmental Characteristics and Distribution of Beach Attractions in Kulonprogo Regency. 2. To find out the Potential Attractions of Beach Attractions in Kulonprogo Regency 3. To find out the Sustainable Ecotourism Development Strategy of Kulonprogo Regency Beach Attractions. Research Location is all beach attractions in Kulonprogo Regency which include Trisik Beach, Glagah Beach, Congot Beach and Kadilangu Sand Beach with Potential and Development Strategy using analysis of Tourism Suitability Index for Characteristics and Distribution of Attractions, Potential uses The Potential Score of Attractions as well as the Green Tourism Association for Sustainable Ecotourism Development by using qualitative description research methods with a survey approach to collect information from respondents using questionnaires / questionnaires and in-depth interviews of concerned respondents from visitors to cuttingholders whose data is collected from the top sample of the population to represent the entire population. The results of this study are (1) The distribution and environmental characteristics of each beach in Kulonprogo Regency are not much different, namely the type of iron sand beach or black sand with agrotourism potential, and all beaches are in Temon and Galur districts, Trisik Beach is in Trisik village and Glagah Beach, Congot Beach and Kadilangu Sand Beach located in Jangkaran village;(2) All potential kulonprogo beach attractions are tourist attractions with tourism potential is different from the results of the score. and Glagah Beach is the beach with the greatest potential and each beach has a distinctive attraction that is different and unique; (3) The development of Ecotourism of Kulonprogo Regency is obtained by the management of ecological sustainability or Green Tourism Association appropriate from the Environment, economic development to cultural diversity described from each beach. Trisik Beach development directive from 4 criteria that have been appropriate needs to be revamped on Turtle Conservation and Chicken Farming that is not yet appropriate, Glagah Beach development directive has been in accordance according to the assessment of ecotourism criteria only need to be further managed by the Laguna levy and fishermen's results, Congot Beach development directive only 4 are appropriate so that there is still much need for improvement and related management such as fishing villages and ombah breakers and coastal development directives Pasir Kadilangu has not been suitable for mangrove forest conservation and shrimp farming. Ecotourism Development Strategy from Kulonprogo Tourism Office such as DED and levy collection; (4) Implementation of high school learners' teaching materials modules in geography subjects of Forestry, Mining, Marine and Tourism Resources Distribution in Accordance with The Principles of Sustainable Development Class XI in the form of interesting and easy to understand learning modules.

ABSTRACT The city of Tegal is one of the cities directly adjacent to the Java Sea. The problem of tidal inundation, especially in the District of West Tegal, is one of the problems that still often occurs. The area studied in this study is the area most frequently affected by tidal flooding in Tegal City. The areas affected by the tidal flood included Kraton Village, Tegalsari Village, and Muarareja Village. This research, among others, aims to determine the level of community vulnerability to tidal flooding. The data used include: land use data, population data, and primary data through questionnaires to the community. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The population in this study were the heads of families from three villages affected by the tidal flood. The vulnerability sample includes the community in three villages affected by the tidal flood which was obtained from the sampling technique in the form of Simple Random Sampling. The results showed that the level of tidal flood vulnerability in the District of West Tegal was included in the medium class in the Kraton Village, and the high class in the Tegalsari Village and Muarareja Village.
