Abstract

This study addresses the pressing need to enhance digital literacy among students, particularly within the framework of project-based learning that incorporates e-books in the science curriculum. The primary aim is to assess the effectiveness of the Project-Based Blended Learning (PBBL) approach in boosting students' digital literacy. A quasi-experimental design was employed, with pre-test and post-test assessments conducted on two student groups. The experimental group engaged in project-based learning using e-books, while the control group followed traditional teaching methods. Data analysis, performed through t-tests, was used to compare the digital literacy improvements between the groups. The findings revealed that students who participated in PBBL with e-books showed a substantial increase in digital literacy compared to those in conventional learning environments. E-books in project-based learning offer greater flexibility, interactivity, and dynamism, significantly fostering the development of digital literacy skills. This research contributes empirical evidence supporting the effectiveness of PBBL in enhancing digital literacy and offers valuable insights for advancing technology-driven teaching approaches in science education.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut pendidik untuk mengembangkan perangkat ajar yang inovatif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa guna meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21. Namun, di SDIT Darul Qur’an Lombok, bahan ajar yang tersedia belum optimal dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dan belum mampu merangsang kreativitas siswa secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul IPA berbasis proyek yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa kelas V. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Subjek penelitian meliputi ahli materi, media, bahasa, serta 17 siswa kelas V SDIT Darul Qur’an Lombok. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi, angket respon (kepraktisan), dan tes kreativitas (pre-test dan post-test). Hasil validasi ahli media (92%), ahli bahasa (92%), dan ahli materi (87,5%) menunjukkan kategori sangat layak. Tingkat kepraktisan berdasarkan respon guru mencapai 96% dan respon siswa 89,44% (sangat praktis). Keefektifan modul dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 44 (pre-test) menjadi 91 (post-test) dengan perolehan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,78 (kategori tinggi) dan hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Pengembangan modul IPA berbasis proyek terintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam terbukti sangat layak, praktis, dan efektif secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa kelas V SDIT Darul Qur’an Lombok.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan komunikasi. Sehingga, diperlukan upaya perbaikan melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media pembelajaran rolling ball energy game untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan komunikasi siswa di Kelas IV SDN 1 Gelogor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Metode pengumpulan data berupa tes, angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari angket validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, angket respon siswa dan respon guru, tes pemahaman konsep, serta angket keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media rolling ball energy game dinyatakan valid berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli media 95% dan ahli materi 80%. Media dinyatakan praktis berdasarkan hasil kepraktisan dari guru 97,5% dan respon siswa 89%. Media dinyatakan cukup efektif berdasarkan hasil perhitungan N-Gain sebesar 0,60 pada pemahaman konsep dan 0,57 pada keterampilan komunikasi yang berada pada kategori sedang. Oleh karena itu, media rolling ball energy game dapat disimpulkan layak, praktis, dan cukup efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a science e-module based on a mangrove ecotourism project that is feasible, practical, and effective in increasing student scientific creativity in Islamic higher education. This study used the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The e-module is designed by integrating interactive technology-based environmental learning materials. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, tests, and interviews to assess the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of a science e-module developed as part of a mangrove ecotourism project to improve students' scientific creativity. The finding showed that the science e-module based on the mangrove ecotourism project was feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing students' scientific creativity. The validation results of the science e-module based on the mangrove ecotourism project were 96.25% included in the category of “very feasible to use”. The results of the e-module evaluation showed that most respondents gave a positive assessment. The results of the effectiveness test showed that the use of this e-module significantly improved students' scientific creativity (p = 0.00). This is because the use of e-modules can develop students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in solving environmental problems. This study advocates for the incorporation of electronic modules into the science education curriculum at universities, recognizing their potential to serve as innovative tools supporting the enhancement of students’ scientific creativity within the realms of environmental education and technological applications.

Abstract

Salah satu capaian pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV sekolah dasar adalah siswa mampu menulis teks prosedur. Namun, kenyataannya siswa belum mampu menyusun isi teks, mengorganisasikan struktur teks secara runtut, menerapkan kaidah kebahasaan teks prosedur yang sesuai serta menggunakan ejaan dan tanda baca dengan tepat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur melalui Model Think Talk Write berbantuan Media Gambar Seri pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Kelas IV SDN 41 Mataram Tahun Pelajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh siswa kelas IV A yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, tes menulis teks prosedur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Model Think Talk Write berbantuan Media Gambar Seri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 73 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 60%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,75 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 88%. Selain itu, aktivitas guru juga mengalami peningkatan dari 71,43% (cukup baik) pada siklus I menjadi 89,28% (sangat baik) pada siklus II serta aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 72,22% (cukup aktif) pada siklus I menjadi 83,33% (aktif) pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi Model Think Talk Write berbantuan Media Gambar Seri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV SDN 41 Mataram.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the evolution of cooperative learning research by employing a systematic literature review (SLR) combined with bibliometric analysis. The method involves analyzing published articles, identifying trends, influential authors, key institutions, and the geographical distribution of research. The results reveal a significant increase in the number of publications on cooperative learning, especially since 2007, with major contributions from countries like the United States, China, and Spain. The study also highlights the integration of educational technology and cultural considerations in cooperative learning practices. The discussion emphasizes the role of collaboration in improving educational outcomes and addresses the adaptation of cooperative learning strategies across various cultural contexts. In conclusion, cooperative learning remains a vital pedagogical approach, and future research should focus on exploring its intersection with technology and its adaptability in diverse educational environments.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN 2 Gerimak Indah. This was evident from the interview results, where students tended to provide very short answers to essay questions and were not yet able to explain their answers well. This condition was caused by the lack of innovation in the learning process carried out by teachers, resulting in students’ critical thinking skills not being developed optimally. To overcome this problem, the Problem Based Learning model assisted by puzzle media was applied in the IPAS subject. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by puzzles on students’ critical thinking skills in the fifth grade IPAS subject at SDN 2 Gerimak Indah. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were students of class VA as the experimental class and class VB as the control class. The research data were collected through pretests and posttests using validated essay test instruments, and were supported by observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used included normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests to test the research hypothesis. he results of the study showed that the Problem Based Learning model assisted by puzzles had a significant effect on students’ critical thinking skills. This was proven by the Mann–Whitney U test results (p = 0.007 and 0.008 < 0.05), indicating that was accepted, meaning that there was a difference between the experimental class and the control class. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at MI Nurul Islam Ganti, especially on environmental pollution material. The problem was caused by the use of conventional teaching methods, particularly the lecture method, which made students passive during the learning process. This study aimed to improve students’ critical thinking skills through the implementation of the inquiry learning model with an ecoliteracy approach. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study were 20 fifth-grade students of MI Nurul Islam Ganti. Data were collected through observations of teacher activities, observations of student activities, and essay tests measuring students’ critical thinking skills. The results showed that the implementation of the inquiry learning model through the ecoliteracy approach effectively improved students’ critical thinking skills on environmental pollution material. In the first cycle, 7 students were categorized as highly critical, 6 students as critical, and 7 students as moderately critical. In the second cycle, 19 students achieved the highly critical category and 1 student was categorized as moderately critical. Teacher activity increased from 85.29% in the first cycle to 94.11% in the second cycle, while student activity increased from 62.5% to 70.5%. These findings indicate that the inquiry learning model with an ecoliteracy approach is effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills.
